Sorry for the late post. But I hope this chapter will make it up. Lets just say I don't like Korrasami shippings...so don't say nothing about the finale to me. Its an easy way to make me upset. But if any of you lovely people know any other great animes (preferably newer ones with 30 or less episodes so I can easily catch up on them) please let me know...Because all I watch now is Attack on Titan since Korra is done...

"Korra?"

She was gone. No sight of her. No response either. Mako became frantic.

"Korra!"

"OH MY SPIRITS MAKO!"

Mako heard her scream, but he did not know what direction it was coming from. He looked around to only see snow falling from the sky.

"KORRA WHERE ARE YOU?"

There was no response. Mako put his hands to his face and tried to reason with himself.

Okay Mako, she can't be far. We were originally traveling north, so maybe that's the direction she's heading in. Just keep going straight and then you'll find her, safe and sound.

Mako had reassured himself Korra was just walking ahead, not lost. He then began walking straight ahead as they had done before. He was calm and focused, that is until he heard her shriek again.

"MAKOOOO!"

He didn't even respond. Instead he began to panic once again. Mako started running straight ahead, faster, and faster into the dark snowfall of the day. That is until he tripped over a rock and rolled down a hill. Once at the bottom, Mako opened his eyes and saw light. It was a beautiful, reddish light. He then realized it wasn't just a light, but a flame. The more he stared at it, the more he began to see a face appear. First he saw the outline of a face, then the chin, then the cheek bones.

"Korra?"

Then her eyes opened and all he saw was a beautiful shade of blue. Then he noticed her smile.

"Baby, get up. I have to show you something."

Mako quickly stood up and rushed to her side. He knew she had to be freezing because she had her face uncovered, her gloves were off, and she shivered as she spoke. He tried to put his arms around her but she just pushed them away.

"Mako not now. I need you to see this. It might require your hands."

Mako raised an eyebrow in question but never voiced his curiosity. Instead he followed Korra about five feet away from his landing. She then stopped and pointed towards a place in the snow. Mako looked down but couldn't see a thing for the thick snowflakes. He then lit his own flame and bent down. As he got closer he began to think Korra was crazy. There was nothing there but snow.

It must be a pregnancy thing. Not only do they crave weird foods, but they also imagine things.

Then Mako was as close as he could get to the snow. He then looked back up at Korra who seemed to be pointing at the same area.

"Korra what are you pointing at?"

"Don't tell me you can't see him!"

Before Mako could ask what, the snow beneath his flame began to rise slowly. He then turned around and was met by two black, beady eyes. Mako jumped back only to earn a laugh from Korra. The creature moved out from under the snow and jumped on top of Mako and licked his face.

"Ew gross."

Mako grabbed hold of the creature and looked at it. Honestly it looked as if he were holding snow, but he soon realized it was a polar bear puppy.

"Mako get up and hand me the puppy. Its not safe for him to be out here."

Mako did as he was told and handed the pup to Korra who held it close to her chest.

"Isn't he beautiful Mako?"

"Korra its a pup, not a baby. Besides, what are you going to do with him?"

"I'm going to take him back to his mother. I'm sure she is worried about her baby."

"Korra we don't have time to wonder around finding mothers of lost pups. We have to get to town now."

Mako began walking straight ahead again, hoping that Korra would come to her senses and follow him, but she did not. Instead she stood in place and stroked the pups head. Mako knew she was not following and turned around.

"Come on Ko-"

His words were cut short, and his thoughts were replaced by ones of fear. As he was looking at Korra, he saw a figure move from behind Korra. He knew exactly what the creature was, and knew exactly what it wanted.

The pup. It wants the pup. We have to get rid of it.

Mako was about to yell to Korra when he then saw the figure appear again. Not only the one, but now five, standing right behind Korra. Mako looked at her, then her stomach, and then the pup she held close to her chest. Mako then looked down and tried to think of a way to keep them from being attacked.

Any sudden movement could put them in harms way. I don't want to- nevermind. My priority is my family, and I will do anything to keep them safe.

Mako looked back up and saw Korra, still standing there holding the pup. He then looked behind her and saw the figures still standing. He then looked back at Korra, but this time it was as if he were seeing her in a different world. Korra was standing there in a beautiful teal dress, her hair was down around her shoulders, and her stomach seemed to be bigger than it was now. Mako also noticed that to the left of her stood a boy, the same boy he saw in his dreams. The tan skin and amber eyes. Mako also noticed he had hair just like him. His eyes watered and then closed shut. He then opened them and saw Korra once again. But this time she seemed to be looking away from him and into the distance. The pup jumped down out of her arms and landed in the snow. The pup turned around and looked at Korra with its beady eyes. Korra stared back and become hypnotized by its eyes.

Korra...you're heading the wrong way. I can take you to him, I will take you to Akuma. He is waiting for you.

The pup then turned and left into the distance. Korra, still hypnotized, began to follow the pup. Mako watched as Korra began walking into the distance. He called out to her about five times hoping she would turn around, but she did not. Mako began to walk towards her, but it was too late. She was gone. Mako then began to run towards the direction she was heading, but was stopped when he saw the figures standing in front of him. He could not make out what they were. Not that he was close, he knew they were not wolves, but something odd. Odd indeed, for they had a weird shape and were an opaque color. There were no distinct features on the creatures, not even a sign of eyes or a mouth. But then the wind blew, and they were gone. Mako then looked in the direction Korra walked. It was very dark and odd sounds came from that direction. Mako swallowed and lit a flame in his hand. He then too, began walking into the distance...

So...I might keep writing this story. Its actually getting good...I think anyway. So leave your thoughts, questions, and concerns in the review box...
