1 YEAR LATER
Stephanie watched as her sister, Shayna, renewed her vows to Chris. After what had happened last year, she was surprised that she was asked to be the matron-of-honor. She and Paul(Hunter) had made up eventually, after a huge fight and a ton of talking. She and Shayna had a rocky relationship, but they were working on it. She did think about Chris from time to time, but then she'd see Paul, and knew that she was were she belonged.
FLASHBACK:
Shayna had been avoiding everyone since she caught her husband cheating. She was walking down the hall when she bumped into someone. She glanced up and seen her older sister.
Stephanie said, "I'm sorry, Shay. You have got to believe me."
Shayna just led them into an empty locker room, wanting the privacy. "Why'd you do it?"
"I don't know. It just happened."
"It just happened? He's my husband, Stephanie! He's supposed to be with me."
"I know. And, I'm sorry. I regret hurting you like this."
Shayna had let the tears flow by this point. "Were you even thinking of me or Paul when this was going on?"
"Yes. But, it still kept happening. I ended it though. I don't want to lose my sister, Shay. I love you."
"Sad thing is, I love you too. But, I still hate that you did it."
"Think we could ever be friends again?"
Shayna looked back from her position in the door and replied, "I don't know."
Eventually they had made up. She was happy for her sister, and was happy with her life. She danced with Paul, as Chris and Shay danced. Neither McMahon sister were able to take their eyes off of their respective husbands.
