Haha why hello everyone…To those of you who followed this story/maybe still follow this story, PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I looked up today and realized I hadn't updated in THREE YEARS. After reading it, and re-reading it, and all of the old reviews, I have decided to start it up again with fresh and more mature eyes. Here goes nothing
Tori POV
Tori broke apart from Beck's kisses and just stared at him for a few seconds.
"What am I doing?" Tori thought.
She immediately regretted pulling back after seeing the look on his face. He ignored her staring and started placing light kisses on her neck instead.
"Beck," she said.
"Hmm?" he muttered without moving his lips away from her neck
"Beck…Beck wait, stop, look at me."
Beck stopped the kisses and scooted back far enough so he could see Tori clearly.
"What's wrong?" he asked, "Did I…did I…was it something offensive that—"
"No, no it's not like that at all." Tori said hurriedly, trying to get her point across before Beck started getting his own ideas. "It's just that…we only met a few days ago, and you literally broke up with Jade a couple hours ago. Don't get me wrong I think you're extremely attractive and super sweet but I don't want to just be your rebound girl."
"It's not—"
"Maybe it's not, but right now it seems like it is. I think you need time to process your feelings about Jade, and think about if you really like me, or if you like the idea of being with someone other than Jade."
She watched Beck's face as he processed what she just said, starting with hurt and then ending in a weird combination of confusion and acceptance, like he knew she was right but didn't want her to be.
"I know it sounds strange Tori but I… I don't know I just have this feeling about you."
"Well good, that's good. Hold on to that feeling, and if it's still around in... let's say, I don't know, 2 weeks? Then we can come back to this. Deal?"
He studied her for what seemed like and eternity before taking a deep breath and pressing a quick peck to her lips.
"2 weeks," he said, "I can do that. You've got yourself a deal."
Beck POV
It's only two weeks Beck, get it together, Beck thought as he was driving to school the next day. Beck knew Tori was right about the plan but he really wished that she wasn't. At the same time, he really didn't want Tori to feel like she was just his rebound. He couldn't really explain his feelings for her but he knew they were strong.
As he pulled into the school parking lot towards his usual spot he noticed a car parked in his parking spot. Great, can this day get any better?
He ended up having to pull in a couple rows further back than usual. When he got out he decided to go see who stole his everyday parking spot. He walked around to driver side door and peered inside.
"Tori?"
She didn't hear him the first time he said it, probably because of how loud her music was, so he tapped on her window.
'Hey Tor!"
She jumped and turned her music down. Then turned towards him and rolled down her window.
"Beck? Haha what are you doing at my car?"
Beck smiled at her cute little laugh. "Well missy, you just happen to be in my parking spot."
"Your parking spot huh? Well I don't see your name on it." Tori said with a smirk.
"It's a good thing you're cute Vega, or this would be a very different conversation." She laughed and then sighed with a slight sad smile on her face.
"Two weeks, Beck."
"I know, I know. It's just...good to see you."
She smiled and looked away. "Have you seen Jade yet?"
Beck just sighed and backed up a little. "No, not yet. I'm kind of trying the 'cross that bridge when I get there approach.'"
"Righttt right. Good call." She laughed that cute laugh again and pushed her hair behind her ear. He leaned in a little and helped her push the lock of hair back. Their eyes locked and there was silence. After a few moments that felt like an eternity, Beck backed away.
"We should probably get to class," he said.
"Yeah we probably should."
As Tori walked on ahead of him, Beck thought to himself, Two weeks and she's mine. I can do this. Just two weeks.
