Ashlee's p.o.v
I let Derek fully lean on me as we walk up the stairs..well I walk, he stumbles. I manage to pull the loft door open.
"Didn't think you'd be back so soon. You seemed angry with me" Peter says without turning around.
"Shut up Old Man Hale" I say. I hear him chuckle. "Besides, I brought you and Cora a present" this makes the oldest Hale turn to me. He rushes forward to help me with Derek. We get him to his bed. All the rukus brings Cora downstairs, tears down her face.
"D..Derek?" she breathes out when she sees him. I nod at her. "Derek!" she yells, running to his side, hugging him.
"C-Cora..my chest" Derek says but Cora ignores him, hugging him tighter. My heart melts as the three Hales have their own private reunion. I resign to the lounge, leaving them to their's. I sigh and let my head drop into my hands. I'm still shaken up from all..this.

"Hey, wake up" somone shakes me.
"Mmm?" I open my eyes. All of a sudden, Cora's hugging me. "Cora?" I ask sleepily. She nuzzles into my neck, I can tell she's crying. "What is it? Is it Derek?" I ask, sitting up.
"No, he's fine" she says, pulling back. "It's you..thank you" she says.
"He found me" I tell her.
"But you brought him back..just accept my thanks McCall" she nudges me with a smile. I smile back, yawning.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"Early"
"Scott will be back in Beacon Hills" I realise.
"Go see Derek, he's asking for you" she says. I nod and she heads for the door.
"Where are you going?" I ask her.
"Running an errand" she says with a mischevious smirk before leaving. Okay? I run my hands down my face before going in. I close the door behind me, softly. Derek's eyes open as I sit down beside him.
"How you feeling?" I ask him, putting my hand to his arm, making sure he's really here.
"Cold" he says.
"Want another blanket?" I ask him. He shakes his head. "Uh..heater?" he shakes his head again. "I can't read your mind" I remind him. He peels back his covers. "You've healed" I say, seeing his shirtless chest only has the deeper wounds still healing, the others healed.
"I have" he says. He keeps looking at me.
"What?" I ask him.
"It's getting colder, are you getting in?" he asks, covers still peeled back. I kick off my combat boots, sliding in next to him. It's much warmer in here.
"You're not dead" I sigh, leaning into his shoulder.
"No, i'm not" he says, leaning up over me.
"Watch out, you're supposed to be rest-" my sentence is cut off when he grabs my face, kissing me. Nothing stops me from kissing him back this time. It starts to get pretty heated, his hands gripping under my ass to pull me up so i'm straddling him. He pulls back and grins at me.
"I think I like this better than resting" he says before pulling me back to his lips with a hand on the back of my neck. I forget and put my hands on his chest. His face screws up in pain. "I'm sorry!" I say, jumping off him.
"No, i'm okay" he chuckles.
"You need to finish healing" I say, laying down next to him. I feel his arm come around my waist, pulling me close. "Healing" I remind him.
"Cold" he reminds me. I nuzzle into him and he kisses my head. "I have to tell you something" I look up at him. "It's about the alphas" I pull away and sit up.
"They know you're alive" I guess. He nods. My thumbnail finds it's way to my mouth nervously. "How long until they come?" I ask.
"They're coming..tonight" he says.
"Tonight?! As in tonight tonight?! Like 12 hours away tonight?"
"I'll be fine by then" he says. "We have a plan"
"What is it?"
"No, you have to stay away" he says.
"You know that's not going to happen" I say.
"I'm serious. Boyd, Erica and Isaac are helping me, everyone else is to stay away. That means you as well" Derek says, pulling himself up.
"Don't say that"
"Make sure Scott stays away-"
"I'm not doing that. I'm going to be here"
"You can't be"
"Why not?!" I yell, getting up.
"Because they will kill you, all of you" he says.
"But you'll put Isaac, Erica and Boyd in danger? Yourself in danger?"
"The instinct to protect their alpha is too great. I can't stop them. But I can stop you, Scott and Cora. Stop you three from getting hurt"
"No, you can't. You're right, you're not our alpha. That means we don't have to listen to you"
"It means you don't have to protect me"
"You think all those times I jumped in front of hunters, alphas, whatever else was because I looked to you as an alpha?" I ask. He doesn't say anything, just looks at me. "It's because I care weither you live or die!"
"And I care weither you live or die! Weither Scott does! Weither my sister does!" he's standing up as well now.
"Rest" I tell him, pointing to his bed. "I'll be over later, ready to fight" I say, storming out. I hear Derek growl at me but I ignore it.
"Ashlee!" he yells. I turn and roar at him, tears prickling my eyes. I'm going to be here. And i'm going to fight.
"And where are you going?" comes Peter's sarcastic voice.
"I'll be back later" I say, walking straight past him. He must have noticed something was off because he starts to smell of worry.

I end up back at the school, looking for Scott. He'll be back at school today and I need to talk to him, tell him what's happening.
"Where are you going?" a voice says from behind me. I turn around to find the twins.
"Back off" I growl.
"We're being friendly" one of them shrugs. They start stepping closer to me. I back up..I can't take on 2 alphas. I back into a door. "Nowhere to go. So, what now?" I glance around nervously, noone's around.
"Why don't you tell us where Derek is?" the other twin asks. I snap a growl at him. "We saw you at his loft. Is that where he is? Is he cooped up at home? Resting up? Got his baby sister and his bitch looking after him?" he mocks. What the fuck did he just call me?
"Shut your mouth!" I snap.
"Kali's going to kill him tonight" I roar at the twins. One of them grabs me, throw me through the door I was just up againist.
"Morrell?" I say, the very women starting over me. "No!" I yell, trying to get away but it's too late. The wolfsbane powder falls over my face and i'm too weak to stop the twins from dragging me out of the school.
..
"Get off me!" I yell, yanking at the twins' grip on my arms. I'm too weakened by the wolfsbane to shift or fight. I know where they're taking me, I know what they're going to do. Kali kicks Derek's door in.
"Gotta be honest Derek, when Ennis died I thought to myself, i'd just go for it. Find you and kill you wherever you stood. Then I remembered, how you surround yourself with these teenagers, hiding behind them. And I thought, what's a girl got to do to get you alone?" Kali taunts.
"Don't" I warn the twins. They ignore me, pulling me into the doorway. One's holding me and the other has his claws to my throat. Derek's face drops.
"You and me Derek, or they tear her apart. What do you say?" Kali challenges. "Think you can beat me one on one?" Derek motions for Erica, Isaac and Boyd to get out of the way.
"I'm gonna rip your throat out. With my teeth" Derek threatens Kali before roaring and running at her. Derek starts off on top but Kali quickly overpowers him, he might be stronger but she's faster.
"Help him!" I yell at Boyd, Erica and Isaac.
"No! They'll kill her!" Derek says, making Isaac stop.
"Wait!" Isaac yells to Boyd, stopping him as well, Erica stopping with him.
"Let me go!" I yell at twins, trying to get away from them. If I can get away from them then Boyd, Erica and Isaac will jump in and help Derek. I elbow one of the twins in the face, escaping his grasp. I try to run forward but i'm slammed back down by the second twin. "You don't have to do this. You don't have to listen to her!" I plead, Derek's losing.
"I'm sorry, we do" one of them says before putting a knee to my throat, stopping me from getting up again. Derek sees me gasping for air and roars at the twins. Kali wraps her arms around his neck. All of a sudden Isaac runs over. Boyd and Erica follow shortly after. The lights flicker on and a bright light emmits from the water as Kali, Derek, Erica and Boyd are shocked. The twins let me go, ready to go in after Kali. Isaac grabs me and pulls me to his chest.
"Take him!" Kali orders the twins. They rush over and grab Derek, they force his claws out. Kali lifts up Boyd.
"No, no, no! Isaac, let me go!" I beg, struggling in his arms. "Isaac please!" you can hear the wind get knocked out of Derek as Boyd falls on his claws. Derek's eyes light up a little brighter as Boyd starts to choke. Isaac slumps, saddness washing over him. I scramble away from him, running over to where Boyd has fallen into the water. He's muttering something about the lunar eclipse and the full moon. Erica scrambles over to him as well.
"Boyd" she starts to cry, staring down at her bleeding packmate.
"That feeling..the-the full moon" he struggles to say. I squeeze my eyes shut and take his hand in mine, trying to take his pain. Except I can't, it's too late. I feel tears prickling my eyes. "It-it was..it was worth it" he croaks before his heartbeat slows to a stop.
"Boyd? Boyd!" no response. "Wake up, Boyd, wake up" I start to cry when there's no response from him at all.
"Boyd!" I hear Cora scream. She comes running in, Stiles and Lydia with her. Cora starts to cry over his body with Erica. I look up at Derek with wide, tear-filled eyes. He's human again, hands are shaking, covered in Boyd's blood. He's soaked from the water but his eyes are red, I can smell the salt from his tears. Stiles squeezes his shoulder.
"No, no..no" Derek's whimpering to himself, staring down at his hands in horror. I curl in on myself, leaning over Boyd and crying.
..
By the time Stiles and Peter are able to get me off the ground..everyone's gone. It's just Cora, me, Stiles and Peter. The water, gone. Boyd's body, gone. Derek..gone.
"Hey, you're okay" Stiles says, setting me down on the couch.
"Where's Boyd?" I ask him, tears dried on my face.
"He's..Derek took him" Stiles tells me.
"Where's Derek?"
"He needs some time" Cora says, wiping her own eyes. "He'll be back"
"Are you okay?" I ask Cora. The girl does what she did last time with Derek. She swallows loudly, bows her head and nods. It's sort of her tell, it's when she's really and truely upset.
"So what? Derek's just gone MIA for awhile?" Stiles asks a little angerily.
"He just lost a pack member..you can't blame him" Cora says.
"Is he going to come back? Help us fight them?" Stiles asks.
"Of course, just give him time" I speak up, wishing I didn't because my voice is hoarse, my throat dry and sore. We listen as Cora explains how he's different now. Peter joins us and tells us why, how he fell in love with a girl named Paige and had to kill her. Just from the story, I know where he might be. The distillary. But i'm not going after him, he'll come back when he's ready.

I really don't know what to do with Erica :/ I might have her leave, Boyd's death to hard for her. But that means she'll still be around if the pack need her so there's the possibility she can come back :) Favourite, follow and review!
