Katniss slams the door to her room in the institution. "That miserable asshole!" she yells, as she runs to her closet, to pick up the ring that Peeta had given her.
"You used a young girl. But I will make sure that will pay for what you did. Peeta. You will regret the day that you messed with us." Katniss promises while she hold the ring in her arm.

Annie holds her cup of latte as she walks towards the table where Tresh is waiting for her.
"Alright, what was so important that you couldn't tell me at the office?" Annie asks annoyed.
"I wanted to know how your meeting went with Plutarch." Tresh says.
"I actually wanted to talk to you about that, because..look I'm a woman of principals, and I don't really like the fact that you are using me as your spy to.."
"Hey, It's okay. If you don't want to do this for me, I'll just talk to Katherine. She will probably know what to do." Tresh says simply.
"No,no,no,no! I went out with Plutarch, like you wanted. And well, honestly, I think you're right." Annie admits.
"So the man is dying to be Venus'es new president. Well, I think that in that case, we should give him the pleasure. Let's see if the man would finally die." Tresh all but laughs, but Annie stares at the man in shock, and disgust.

Katniss is walking near the institution, when Madge calls for her name.
"Katniss! I know I was a complete idiot for being so mean to you." Madge yells as she walks after Katniss, but Katniss doesn't stop walking, nor does she turn around to face Madge.
"I agree completely." Is the only thing that Katniss answers with a strict voice.
Madge pulls on Katniss's arm gently, making the girl turn around to face her. "Alright, I'm really sorry. But don't be mean to me right now, I'm dying to tell you what happened." Madge says as she rests her head on Katniss's shoulder smiling.
"Madge, you stink of alcohol! If Miss Margaret notices, you're going to get in so much trouble!" Katniss yells as she pulls away from Madge.
"Oh, but she wont notice! Anyway it was for a good reason. You don't know, you don't know Katniss, this guy is amazing. You don't know how he smells, how he kisses me, how he makes me feel. He told me that he really likes me, and that he wants something serious with me. He's going to come visit me, every weekend. In fact, I can't wait till tomorrow, when I get to be in his arms again." Madge says with a dreamy voice, and she really isn't being mean. She's just drunk and she wants to share her happiness with someone.
"Why did you have to fall for him again, Madge?" Katniss asks, with a voice of disapproval.
"What are you talking about?"
"Why did you give yourself, to that miserable man? Why did you sleep with him?" Katniss accuses.
"What are you saying? Where you spying on us, Katniss?" Madge accuses back.
"No, I wasn't spying on you, why would you say that?"
"Of course. You're sick. Since you don't have anyone to love you, you want to spoil my relationship!" Madge yells, before she coldly walks away.
"You're blind Madge! That guy is playing with you, and the only thing that he wanted was sleep with you! Sex, Madge, with either one of us. That bastard is taking advantage of you, and you're living in denial." Katniss walks after the girl.
"Shut up!" Madge starts. At the same time, Cato walks into the yard were the two girls are fighting.
"Your problem is that you're just jealous, because no man has ever wanted you! Because no man has ever made love to you, the way that Adam made love to me! But you know what Katniss? You will not take him away from me." Madge yells before she really does walk away, leaving Cato starring at them in shock.
"Idiot! One day you will realize that what I'm telling you is the truth!" Katniss yells, to the disappearing back of Madge.
Soon enough, Katniss hears Cato's laughs.
"When a chick is jealous, no one will stop her, right?" Cato laughs.
"And when a guy is stupid like you, he has no limits, right!?" Katniss yells back before she walks away angrily, leaving Cato laughing alone.

"Where is Adam? I need to talk to him, urgently." Madge asks Gale, the next day.
"He has work to do. He had to send a fax to Aqua, his company." Gale laughs.
"Fine. I'll wait for him." Madge states.
"Very well then. And If you're bored, we can go to my room, and play doctor." Gale proposes.
"No thank you, I don't like playing games." Madge answers, not understanding Gale's proposal.
"Oh, even better. We could go straight to bed then!" Gale says, making Madge just stare at him with disgust, and amusement.

In the Everdeen's mansion, Glimmer is losing her mind.
"The goddamn voicemail, the voicemail again! It's been two days, okay, two days, and Peeta's been gone, he hasn't called or answered on nothing!" Glimmer yells to her poor brother Marvel, as she angrily kicks off her heels, like a little girl.
"Okay, sis, come down. Breath, and um..borrow me three thousand dollars." Marvel blurts out.
"Marvel! I can't keep giving you money every week. How do you think that I will pay for my shit? All this beauty costs money." Glimmer says, as she brings a hand down her blonde hair extensions.
"Just tell dad to give you more money, and that's it!" Glimmer finishes.
"You're so selfish." Marvel accuses.

"What is so important that you have to tell me?" Peeta asks, as he sits in a bar annoyed with Madge.
"I need to ask you, if you told someone that you and slept together?"
"Why would I tell someone something so private, something so..ours?" Peeta plays innocent.
"Well, do you think that someone could have..seen us?" Madge asks.
"Alright, what's going on? Why are you asking me all these questions?"
"Do you really want something serious with me Adam?"
Peeta moves to drink his shot, but stops mid way after Madge's question.
"Of course princess! Why would you doubt that? Our story is only just beginning."
Madge smiles, and stand up to kiss Peeta.
"I knew, I knew that I could count on you. You can visit me every weekend, if yo.u want to. Why don't you give me your phone number?" Madge asks.
"Yes! No..No I don't have..um..I lost it. But um..well I can call you in the institution every day, my love." Peeta lies.
"My love?" Madge smiles, and she moves to kiss him, but soon the sound of her grandfather, Charlie clearing his throat, makes both Peeta and Madge stop right in their tracks.
"Oh granddad! I um..I was looking for you, but I ran into my um..friend. He is Adam." Madge says pointing at Peeta.
"I'm pleased to meet you Mr." Peeta says nervously.
Charlie Everdeen stares at Peeta with a death glare.
"And this is my granddad, Charlie." Madge states.
"I didn't know that you have older friends." Charlie asks Madge.
"Well, Adam is the big brother of one girl in the institution." Madge quickly lies.
Peeta smiles uncomfortably.
"Oh okay. I'm spending a couple of days here, would you like to have dinner with us tonight?" Charlie asks Peeta.
"Oh no, it's not needed.." Peeta starts.
"Of course it is needed. I would like to know my granddaughters friend." Charlie argues.
Peeta swallows, wondering how to get out of this situation.

Evening comes, and soon Peeta finds himself sitting in a dinner table with Madge and Charlie Everdeen. Although Peeta doesn't know it, he's lucky that Charlie doesn't know Adam is actually Peeta Mellark.
"Don't I have the best grandfather in the world?" Madge asks.
"Yes, yes. His face looks somewhat familiar." Peeta admits.
"Madge, don't talk so well about me, I'm starting to think that you're going to ask me for something." Charlie jokes.
"I'm going to have to make a rather honest question here. You two, are more than just friends. Am I correct?" Charlie asks.
Peeta chokes on his water.
"Granddad!" Madge laughs.
"The truth is, I can't lie to you.." Madge starts, and soon enough Peeta is starring at the woman with panic and anger.
"Me and Peeta are a couple!" Madge states happily. Peeta's eyes widen in shock.
"Well, it took me by surprise. But one day it had to happen. And let's see, Adam, what do you do for a living?" Charlie asks, with a tight voice.
"I work. I manage..I mange a..family business. I work with my father." Peeta admits.
"My granddad is a business man. The owner of.." Madge gets cut off.
"Madge please. Your boyfriend doesn't care what I do for a living. That's not important." Charlie laughs, and Peeta fake laughs.
"But what is important, is what Adam does. Tell me, what is that family business then?" Charlie asks.

Later at night Peeta is packing his luggage while Gale laughs at him.
"You went too far bro! You actually sat down for dinner with that little girl's grandfather. What were you thinking?" Gale laughs, as he sips on his beer.
Peeta rolls his eyes. "I know. What did you want me to do? I couldn't get out of the situation. And you know that chick got crazy. She told her grandfather, that we were a couple." Peeta says annoyed, making Gale laugh even harder.
"And you, stop laughing. That man was somehow really familiar. I don't know, I feel like I've seen his face somewhere."
"Okay come on. Stop being paranoid. We can't leave yet." Gale begs.
"I wanted to stay for a couple more days too, but things got really complicated with this girl. So you should pack your bag, because tomorrow, we're going back to the city.

Maggs is arguing with her son in the Everdeen's mansion.
"Marvel and Glimmer have thirteen percent of the stocks in our company. Those stocks do not belong to you. And it's a already time that you give Marvel work at the company Plutarch."
"Those stocks should belong to me. It's a mistake to give them to Marvel and Glimmer." Plutarch argues back.
"You would just lose them in the casino's, like you did with your fathers fortune! Those stocks belong to this family!"
"So your intentions are that those stocks will belong to our family? And what family are you talking about? Where the hell do you think those stocks are going to end up in, after my stupid daughter marries Peeta Mellark? The owner of our competitor Aqua?" Plutarch asks, silencing the woman.

Katniss lies in bed, thinking about the things she heard Peeta say about Madge. How he laughs at her, how she believed his lies, and how he fucked her. Her thoughts are quickly interrupted when Margaret roughly opens the door to her room.
"Katniss, Mr. Charlie Everdeen wants to talk to you. What on earth did you do now?" Margaret asks.
Katniss makes her way downstairs, where indeed Charlie awaits her.
"Madge told me that, that guy is a brother of a girl in this institution. So I invited him to dine with us. But I don't know. There is something about that man, that I don't like. Katniss, do you know who that guy, Adam is?" the man asks, putting Katniss in a very risky situation.
"Um..Mr. Charlie..The thing is that me and Madge are a little..distant right now. And truth be told, I don't know what you are talking about."
"Oh boy, you really don't know how to lie. I've known you for years, and I know that you are hiding something. Tell me the truth Katniss. Who is Adam?"

In the Mellark's mansion, Effie is sitting in her bed, when her husband Steven starts kissing her neck.
"No, please Steven, I have a headache." Effie pleads.
"You know, you are going to have to find another excuse, because frankly that head thing is really starting to get on my nerves Effie! If I don't kiss you, it's my fault, and if I do, you push me away. Don't cry when I fuck another woman, because I need a woman in my bed, not a mummy." Steven says before he leaves Effie alone.

"Tell me Katniss, please. I want to know the truth, before it's too late."
"Mr. Charlie, please don't do this to me. The thing is..I don't know Madge's private life." Katniss lies.
"Stop lying Katniss. I know that you two are like sisters, and you tell each other everything. Something really serious is going on between the two of you, if you are fighting like this. Tell me Katniss, is it because of that guy?"
"No, I don't want to talk Mr. Charlie. Because of that idiot Madge fought with me. I don't even want to imagine what will happen if I tell you, what I know." Katniss says in a worried tone.
"You already started speaking, and I'm not leaving, until you tell me what you know about that Adam."
"Okay fine. Truth to be, I'm also worried for her. Look Mr. Charlie, first of all, that idiot's name is not Adam, but Peeta."
"Peeta? Peeta, what? What is his last name?"
"I don't know. Maybe he's name isn't even Peeta."
"We have to do something. And you have to help me, Katniss. Right now I have to leave because I have something important to do in the office. But Please Katniss, don't let that man hurt Madge." Charlie begs before he kisses Katniss in the cheek quickly. He then walks away.

The next day, Peeta is checking out of the hotel, and Katniss confronts him, but Gale stops her mid way.
"And what did you come to apologize for leaving me alone the other day at the bar?" Gale asks.
"And who do you think you are? I came here to talk with the owner of the circus, not the clown." Katniss says, as she pushes through Gale.
"Hello princess. You really don't get tired do you? Do you come for one last chance?" Peeta asks.
"Where do you think you're going?" Katniss asks, pointing at the luggage.
"I'm going back to the city. I got tired of this place. What do you say, will you escape with me?"
Katniss actually grabs the man, and pulls him away.

"Oh grandpa I'm really going to miss you." Madge sighs as she hugs Charlie.
"I'll miss you too darling. Please keep your eyes open. I don't want anyone to hurt you. You already received your part of sadness in life."
"Don't worry about me. I have reasons to be happy right now. Will you be back soon?" Madge asks.
"Oh yes. Yes. Did you talk with Katniss?"
Madge rolls her eyes.
"Don't even mention her. I don't want to know anything about her again."
"I will be looking after you. Take care of yourself." Charlie warns one last time, before the two hug again.
"I'll see you soon again. Goodbye for now."
"I love you grandpa!" Madge yells after him.

Katniss pushes Peeta until they are standing alone.
"So you were just leaving, without saying goodbye to Madge at all?" Katniss yells.
"Of course not. I gave her my goodbye last night. And it was very delicious." Peeta jokes.
"You are a miserable asshole. You took advantage of a an inexperienced girl. I've never met someone as disgusting as you." Katniss spits out.
"What's your problem? That I slept with your friend, and not with you?"
"If you repeat something so disgusting, you will have to go through surgery, to get my shoe out of you." Katniss warns.
"Stop already. I'm leaving because your friend is crazy. I slept with her, and now she thinks that we are a thing. Yeah, she actually made me meet the grandfather."
Katniss laughs. "I almost pity you, you disgusting man. You lied to her, and then you got the girl drunk, so that you could sleep with her!" she yells.
"No, now excuse me. I've never had to get a woman drunk, for them to sleep with me. Actually, it's the other way around. Every girl dies, for me to be with them. Even your friend, and you." Peeta says, as he caresses Katniss's face, but she pushes his arm away.
"You are a piece of trash!"
"Listen, tell your friend that what we did was delicious, but that I don't like 'em stupid." Peeta says, before he sends Katniss an air kiss, and then, just like that, the man walks away from it all.

Madge and Katniss cross ways in the institution. "Where are you going?" Katniss asks Madge.
"None of your business." is what she gets back.
"Don't go looking for him, the man's gone." Katniss informs her.
"That is a lie, Adam would never leave without saying goodbye to me!"
"I just saw him leave Madge." Katniss says with a strict voice. She doesn't want to be too hard on Madge, because she knew that she was about to get her heart broken.
"You are lying Katniss. Lying" Madge sings, as she walks away.
"Madge don't go! Madge!" Katniss is once again left yelling after the girl.

In the corporate of Venus, Charlie is talking with Venus's lawyer Tresh.
"This is a copy of your testament. I have the other copy hidden for safety. Excuse me, can I ask, why such hurry with this? You are a very healthy person. You just arrived from your trip, you should be resting." Tresh says.
"Oh Tresh. In my age, you have to be prepared. Better to be safe than sorry. I'm really worried about my granddaughter. Madge is too innocent to live in this world. I have to leave her safe. As soon as she has finished with her studies, I will bring her to live with me."
"She is the only inhaler, am I correct?" Tresh asks.
"Yes. That is also very dangerous. Tresh, your father was a very close friend of mine. He was also our families lawyer. Since his death, I am happy to have you as a lawyer, and as a friend."
"Thank you Charlie. You have always made me feel like I was part of your family." Tresh smiles.
"And you are. And that is why, I would like to ask you, that the day that I will no longer be in this world, you protect my granddaughter Madge. Become her alley. Give her the twelve percent that your father owned of the company. If you don't protect her, these people will eat her alive. I trust you deeply." Charlie admits.
"I promise you, that Madge will always count on me." Tresh promises.
The two men shake hands, as Charlie thanks Tresh once more.

Madge stands at the front desk of what used to be Peeta's hotel.
"Is Adam here?" she asks the woman.
"Adam..? What is his last name?" the woman asks.
"I don't know but he is a tall man, really handsome, blue eyes, blonde hair, maybe you remember him?" Madge hopes.
"I'm sorry, there is no one here with the name Adam."
"Please, I have come to see this man every day, try again, I'm begging you."
"Again, I'm sorry Miss, there is no one named Adam in this building, not for the whole month."
"This cannot be happening." Madge murmurs to herself.
Soon Madge remembers Katniss's words.
"His name is not Adam, it's Peeta."
So Madge tries it, her heart beating in her chest.
"Just in case, was there a man named Peeta?"
"Yes! And he actually matches the description you gave me. But he's just left, he's no longer here." the woman answers.
And all of a sudden everything crashes for poor little Madge.
