"That's it." Randy said as he turned to the rest of his cell mates. "You are all crazy, and stupidity is a sickness that spreads. That is the only reason that I'm now seeing an Irish vampire trying to convince us of being in a castle off the coast of Ireland. Clearly, there's no way to get from Florida to Ireland in the small time we've been here."
Evan rolled his eyes at Randy, then smiled up at the pale man. "Are we really in Ireland?! That's awesome!"
The man smiled from his place at the doors, then somehow jumped all the way to be in front of the cell. "Oi like this fella! Cheerful and happy!" He said, moving to poke Evan's face.
But, before he could, 'Taker cleared his throat, stopping the red head suddenly. "Anyways, what did ye fellas do to 'em? Ye know this cell's only fer hooligans and delinquents!"
Evan couldn't help but feel refreshed by the happiness the man's positive attitude, having felt down because of his companions attitudes.
Kane sighed as he rubbed his masked face with his hands, knowing that their boss would not agree with their methods. "These kids were caught sneaking around the castle, Sheamus. We just stopped them before they could find out things they were not supposed to know."
The pale man, now Sheamus, frowned a bit at the news, and looked in interest at the 'prisoners'. "What were ye kids doing here? Snoopin' and sniffin' 'round fer our secrets ta sell te your world?"
His tone wasn't deathly or threatening, but instead curious. Sheamus actually looked interested as to what the teens would answer. "Oi'm pretty sure ye din't wan' ta search fer Disney's own secrets."
All the teens looked at one another, then Matt sighed and hung his head. "Look, I gotta come clean. We're not reporters and we're not searchin' for any secrets. Truth is, we're actually searching for something very important and somehow ended up here."
Sheamus quirked an eyebrow, placed his hands behind his back, then looked at his colleagues. "Do we wanna know what the lads were searchin' fer?"
'Taker only rolled his eyes as Daniel nodded excitedly, all the while Kane crossed his arms.
"We are searching for the Fields of Gold, sir. We need to save Jeff." Evan answered, hands on the rails as he looked at Sheamus.
All went quiet in the room as soon as he spoke, a deathly tension covering them. Sheamus' pale skin seemed to go paler and Daniel squeaked, hiding behind Kane in fear. Heck, even 'Taker's eyes widened, which made Matt wonder what had happened.
"D-d-d-d-d-" Daniel stuttered, eyes wide as he hid behind Kane.
The older man rolled his eyes and bonked him on his head, causing Daniel to form a coherent sentence. "Did he just say Fields of Gold?!"
Now this really intrigued the teenagers. Why would they be reacting like this to something as harmless as fields? Randy was confused as to just what they were, but the rest were now somewhat doubting their quest.
"Oi believe he did, fella." Sheamus sighed, and he brought up his hand to stroke his beard.
Again silence took over them, with Matt and Jeff looking at all the adults there. "What's wrong?" Jeff asked, causing all the men to look at him.
Sheamus seemed like he was about to say something, but Undertaker cut him off. "You kids clearly do not know what you are doing."
Daniel nodded rapidly from behind Kane, pointing at them. "They thought this was Disney World until we corrected them! They don't belong here, Sheamus, and you'll get us in trouble if you let them stay!"
Sheamus frowned at his words, almost growling as he started to stroke his facial hair, then said, "Oi can't take responsibility fer 'em, fellas. They foun' out one or another an' they apparently need 'em... Why do ye need the Fields, fellas?"
Matt sighed as he let his forehead lie against the cool steel bars, and said, "Jeff's going to die without them. We're just trying to save him, sir."
Kane growled at the answer and he seemed to get even bigger, all the while Undertaker spoke out. "These kids are not of this world, Sheamus! They clearly have not heard the full story of the Fields and are chasing what is but a myth! If you do not get rid of them, the Council will punish you, and all of us while they're at it!"
"Aw, but I like these kids, Taker!" Daniel squealed from his hiding place, looking up at the bigger man. "Can't we just hide them here forever?"
"Of course not!" Clearly 'Taker was losing his patience seeing how he finally yelled at Daniel. "The Council will destroy us all! Besides, weren't you all up for them leaving a few minutes ago? Or are you too much of a cowar-"
"Silence!" Sheamus suddenly yelled, stopping 'Taker from ripping into Daniel. "This is O'Shaunnessy Manor! The Safe Haven founded by me family thousands of years ago ta make sure no creature, critter, magical being, or even human would ever be hurt unjustly!"
Sheamus was glaring at his three cohorts, which actually shocked Evan, seeing how he had gathered much information from just listening to them talking. Clearly they were all magical beings or mythical creatures, humans weren't supposed to be here, and this 'Council' seemed pretty serious about whatever rules they had.
"Me great grandpa Cahal O'Shaunnessy hid a female human here ta save her from persecutions from her own people! The Council allowed it!"
"But, Sheamus, this is different!" Kane interjected, stepping forward now. "These four are clearly misinformed and this will cause friction between you and the Council!"
Sheamus now shook his head and unhooked his velvet cape, revealing a puffy white shirt, black britches, riding boots, and a crimson amulet. "Let the Council be damned! And who are ye ta question me? Remember who is the Head of the Manor and who are the guests!" Sheamus hissed, throwing the cape straight at Kane's head.
Then, without any more words, Sheamus turned back to the teens, face stony and any signs of lightheartedness gone. "Kids..."
Randy and Jeff were now at the very back of the cell, as far away as possible from the four adults in the room, while Matt and Evan stayed glued to the bars of the cell.
Sheamus then rubbed his face with his hand and sighed, and suddenly a chair floated in front of the cell, leaving the teen's with wide eyes. Sheamus sat down on it and rubbed his hands, then looked up at Matt and Evan.
"Please tell me everythin' ye know o' the Fields. We don't have much time."
Matt and Evan both looked at each other, and ignoring the glares they got from Randy and the confused looks from Jeff, they started the story.
So sorry I haven't updated in an extremely long time, but I want to make that up. I'll try to update in a week, and if not... Well, I don't want anything bad to happen, but just know that I'll be disappointed in myself if I leave you hanging once again.
Anyways, if you still want to continue reading this story, please review.
