An AU story where Carlos/Ranger and Steph grew up together in Newark. They are separated for the first time as he attends Basic Training in Georgia and she's going to University at Rutgers. This is a Babe HEA, and probably a shorter multi-chapter story. Each chapter will have one letter each from Carlos and Steph to the other.

It's a song fic, based on a song I heard recently: I Love It by Icona Pop, from 2012. It kept nudging me and was my inspiration for this story.
