AN: I am so sorry this chapter took long. I had a very hard couple of weeks, but slowly moving along. I hope you all are enjoying my Fic and I appreciate all of your reviews it means a lot to me. I hope you like this chapter.
Chapter 8
The figure was petite and was coming towards them. "Who's there?" Robin asked firmly as he had his bow ready. As the figure came closer Robin recognised who it was and relaxed and put his bow and arrow down. The figure was petite and it was a woman. She was wearing warrior armour and her hair was down. "It's me, Mulan." She said as she came into view. The camp seemed more relaxed at the sight of Mulan. Roland wiggled out of Selena's arms and ran to greet her along with Robin. Roland looked towards Selena and grabbed her hand and led her to Mulan. Robin smiled as to how close Roland was with Selena. Mulan looked at Selena and was curious to who she was. "Mulan , meet Selena." Robin introduced them to one another. "It's nice to meet you Selena." Mulan replied back stretching out her hand. Selena smiled and shook Mulan's hand. "It's nice to meet you too. Selena said with a smile. Robin led them to the fire while he checked on the stew.
Selena helped get the bowls out as Robin poured the stew into the bowls. Selena handed everyone a bowl of stew and took hers last. Roland scooted next to Mulan so that he was sitting in between both of them. Selena sat next to Roland and began to assist Roland when necessary. After she took her stew and began to eat it. "So Selena, how did you bump into Robin." Mulan was the first to break the silence. "erm, well I fell through a portal and all I remember is waking up here." Selena said as she finished her stew while Roland took it from her and took it to his papa, leaving Mulan and Selena to get to know each other. "So what made you come to the Enchanted Forest?" Mulan asked. Selena looked down at her fingers and replied back "I came looking for my mother, I was taken away from her and since then she has believed I am dead." Mulan's eyes widened in shock while Selena tried to push the tears away. "Who would do that." Mulan said looking a Selena seeing that it pained her. "My grandmother, she said I was her mothers weakness so she got rid of my father and then she got rid of me." Selena said as she wiped a stray tear from her face. Mulan smiled and placed her hand atop of Selenas "How would you like me to teach you how to wield a sword?" Selena looked up to Mulan with a slight smile and accepted her offer. "I would love that." Mulan smiled and got up to talk to Robin, but before she did she turned and told her " Great , we will start tomorrow. Good night Selena." Selena smiled and wished her goodnight and of Mulan went to talk to Robin.
Selena slowly fell asleep by the fire while Mulan spoke to Robin. He told Mulan that he is helping selena find her mother but he didn't say who her mother is. He felt he needed to keep that part a secret because if someone found out they will come for her. Mulan felt bad for Selena and made teaching her how to wield a sword a must. Robin spotted Roland come out of the tent and walk up to selena who was asleep. Roland gently shook Selena. Selena woke up and noticed Roland beside her. "Selena wake up, I thought you was coming to bed." Selena gave a slight smile "Sorry Roland I accidentally fell asleep, come on lets go to bed." She reached out her hand and Roland took it and lead her to their tent. "Good night." Selena said again to Mulan and Robin and with that she went into hers and Rolands tent. "Selena, can I sleep with you?" Roland asked her as she got into bed. Selena smiled "Wouldn't you sleep better in your bed?" Roland started fiddling with his fingers and pouted. "I had a nightmare and I'm scared." Selena lifted up the blanket and Rolands pout disappeared and he ran and jumped into her bed. He snuggled close to her. "Nothing will harm you Roland not while I'm around." Selena told him as she covered them with the blanket and placed a kiss on his head. "Night." Roland smiled and snuggled closer and fiddled with Selenas hair as he fell asleep.
