The next morning, Kim woke up at 06:30a.m. and sat up, stretching her arms and legs. She got up and went to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and took a quick shower. When she was done she left the bathroom and change into a white T-shirt with little red hearts and blue shorts. She brushed her hair, put it into a high ponytail and put some light pink lip gloss and mascara and fixed her bed. She looked at her clock and saw it was 07:15a.m.. She grabbed her phone and text the others, when she heard someone knocking at her door.

" Come in! " she yelled.

The door opened revealing Mrs. Crawford. " Kim, are you ready? Breakfast is on the table. "

Kim smiled and said " Okay mom. I'll be down in a minute. " Her mom smiled, kissed her head and left her room.

Before Kim went downstairs she had to check if she has everything with her.

" Let's see: shorts and tops: check, two dresses: check, a pair of jeans: check, a pair of sandals and flip flops: check, a jacket if it gets cold: check, sunglasses: check,make-up: check, bathing suit: check, magazines: check, money: check, towels and sun cream: double check. " Looks like she's got everything she needed. " Oh! " She grabbed her phone and put it in her pocket. " And my phone. Now I have everything! " She closed and zipped her luggage and went downstairs and put it next to the front door before skipping inside the kitchen.

" Good morning, mom and dad! " She skipped to her dad and kissed him on the cheek.

" Morning, Kimmy. " Mr. Crawford laughed when Kim pouted.

" Dad, I told you not to call me that. I'm 16! " She took a seat across from her father and began eating.

" I know, I was just teasing you! " He took a sip of his coffee and continued to read the newspaper.

" Are you excited to meet Lucy, Kim? " Her mother asked while washing the dishes. Kim nodded with her mouth full with pancakes.

" You've got everything you need? " Her father asked.

Kim swallowed and said " Yes dad. I have clothes, money, bathing suit, everything! I checked five times yesterday and two times today. I'm ready! "

" Good, because you have to hurry or you'll be late. " Her mom said and pointed at the clock. Kim saw that it was 07:30a.m.

She gasped and stood up. " Oh no! I gotta hurry! " She put her dishes into the sink and ran to put her yellow sandals. She grabbed her luggage, opened the door and shouted " Bye, mom and dad! Love you! "

" Love you too, honey! "

" Be careful! "

With that, Kim started running towards the dojo where she had to meet with the others.

" She's LATE! " Jerry almost yelled while running his hands through his black hair. " What's taking her so long?! "

" Don't worry, man. She'll come any minute. " Milton said.

" How do you know? " the Latino boy asked.

" She text me just now. " Milton answered.

" Hey is that her? " Eddie said and pointed at some direction. The others looked to where he was pointing and they saw a girl with long blonde hair running towards them while carrying a luggage.

" Yep! That's her. " Rudy nodded.

" Sorry I'm late! " Kim said when she reached them and started panting.

" It's okay. But you didn't had to run all the way here while carrying a big luggage. " Jack said and he gave her a bottle of water. The guys have noticed when Kim was running like a crazy person while carrying her luggage, she was receiving weird stares from people who were walking pass her.

Kim took a gulp of water. " Thanks! I had to because our bus will leave in 15 minutes now! " They all looked to see that it was 07:45a.m.

" She's right! We have to hurry! Come on! " Rudy said and everyone started running. They took two taxis ( since they are six people they wouldn't fit in one taxi) they took off to Seaford Bus Port. When they arrived Rudy payed the bill to both taxi drivers and hurried inside. Rudy quickly bought the tickets and ran towards the bus they needed to go to, which was Bus #8. When they arrived they checked the clock to see it was 08:05a.m.

"Oh no! We're late! " Jerry cried while panting.

" No, we're not! Look! " Jack pointed towards a bus where they saw people showing their tickets to a man in a uniform (sorry, I forgot what he's called) and get inside the bus. They saw that the bus was Bus #8.

" That's our bus! Good work Jack! " Rudy and the others signed in relief. " Let's hurry! "

When they walked (this time) to their bust, they gave the man their tickets. They handed their luggage to the luggage handler so he can put them underneath the bus with the others. Rudy and Jack helped while the others got inside and went to find comfortable seats.

Kim signed in relief. " Finally! I can't believe we made it! " she then giggled. " I can't wait to meet my amazing cousin again! "

Jack laughed and sat next to her. " Yeah, after a 5 hour ride until we get to Magnolia. " Kim groaned and he looked at her. " You okay? "

She nodded and grabbed two granola bars from her small bag. She handed the one to Jack. He grabbed it and thanked her. They smiled at each other.

With that, they felt the bus itself start moving and they all relaxed.

' Magnolia, here we come! ' they all thought excitedly.
