Hi! this going to be a really short chapter. Sorry. I wanted to upload something but I didn't have time. I looked back on my other chapters and noticed they were really short. I have decided that this takes place after HoO. I am giving you an option. Shorter chapters = more updates. Longer chapters = less up dates. Let me know what you want. CHAPTER 7~
Mr. Wright just sat there stunned. "Now what do we do with you?"
Percy PoV:
Long story short; we all got suspended for five days. I drove us all home. When we got there, we had surprise. 10 hellhounds stood in the middle of the street. "Oh look, one for each of us", I heard Leo mutter.
Annabeth quickly came up with a plan, "Each of us take one. If yours if dead help someone else. Everybody weapons out. I took out Riptide, Annabeth took her knife out. Reyna took hers out of her shoe, while Piper took off her heels. Leo, well he got out a very big hammer, everyone got out there weapon of choice and attacked.
I lunged at mine and killed it almost instantly; Jason was done with his as well. I went to help out Hazel, Piper got Jason. Four down seven to go. Correction, 5 to go. Frank and Reyna took theirs out quickly, then I heard Piper scream out.
I turned and looked. There was Annabeth, bleeding from a very nasty gash on her forehead, thank gods she killed the hellhound. Soon all of the hellhounds were dead.
I ran over to Annabeth and picked her up, she was passed out. I told everyone to go back to their rooms. I could handle this. I took Annabeth up to my room and laid her on the bed, gave her some nectar and watched some color come back to her face. Her eye lids fluttered, "Hi, Seaweed Brain." She rolled over and went back to sleep. I lied down next to her and quickly fell asleep.
Annabeth PoV:
The last thing I remember was Percy curled up beside me as I went to sleep. Which I regretted, because the dreams started.
I was running blind through Tarturus, Percy had my hand. Then he let go. I felt alone. Seaweed Brain? Where was he. I started to call his name. I then was picked up by someone, Percy?
My eyes cleared. It was Bob. I looked down and saw Percy, looking horrible, "Annabeth…" That was his final word to me.
I woke screaming Percy's name, tears running down my face. Percy quickly woke up and realized what had happened. He took me in his arms and wiped my tears. He tried to comfort me. I knew itmust have been hard. I mean if I saw Percy like I was…well I didn't want to think about it. In a few minutes I was asleep.
The next day all of the gang decide to go swimming, it was still warm enough. We were going to spend a few days down there, at the cabin Percy always went to with his mom. By ten all the stuff was packed (food, clothes, sleeping bags, the stuff we all needed) and off we went.
We all wore our bathing suits under our clothes so we could just jump right in. Of course Percy had an unfair advantage, him being a son of Poseidon. We arrived at 11. Percy just took his shirt off and ran in. The other boys quickly followed.
I went with the other girls and changed in the house. I was done first and ran out. When Percy saw me his jaw dropped. What? All I was wearing was a simple gray bikini. As soon as I got waist deep I felt the current drag m out to Percy. It kind of tickled. "Seaweed brain, stop it!"
"Okay!"
I didn't know how far out we were but I couldn't reach the bottom. Percy disappeared under the water. I felt something under me. Uh Oh!
I looked down. Percy came up in front of me, spraying water everywhere. We both laughed. Then the waves started to pick up. Each one as it crashed pulled me under. By the time I got above the water, another crashed down. Percy realized what was happening he pulled me onto his back. "Hold on, Wise Girl."
He didn't have to tell me, my legs were locked around his waist, and I almost had him in a choke hold. I heard something behind us, but it was most likely water. The I heard Piper scream. Percy and I turned. There stood Kelli, an empousai, with about five others. Not Again!
Sorry it was so short, I had to get a chapter up. I am thinking of doing a one-shot of the reunion in MoA, from everyone, but Annabeth's PoV. What do you think?-a hunter of artimis here
