The day went on, boring as ever. We all couldn't wait to see Coach Hedge. When we got to P.E. we saw the satyr. "Coach!", we all yelled in unison.

He turned, looking surprised. "Cupcakes!"

Still Annabeth PoV:

The gods and goddess of Goode, as Leo called us, tackled Coach Hedge in a big group hug. Percy spoke up. "Hey Coach! We got word you're moving in. Have you heard from Grover ?"

Typical Percy-Where in Hades is the Lord of The WILD. I know Percy. THE WILD!

"Well, cupcake, Grover is fine. And yes I'm moving in."

Coach grabbed his mega-phone which was close to Leo. Uh Oh!

"ALRIGHT, CUPCAKES-I'M YOUR FATHER-FALL IN –MOO- VALDEZ I'M GONNA-THE DUCK GOES QUAKE-KILL YOU!" He put the mega phone down. "Fall in, Cupcakes. Today, we are playing dodge-ball. I pick captains and teams. Team One: Annabeth, Percy, Leo, Nico, Thalia, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Tyson, and Reyna. Annabeth's captain. Team two: Everyone else. Mike's captain."

Some guy spoke up, "Coach that's hardly fair. Team One has only eleven players. Two has twenty."

Coach looked at the boy, "Yes, it's unfair. To team Two."

The gang laughed along with Coach Hedge. He gave us two minutes to plan our strategies. Rules were that if you catch a ball the person who through it is out. Team mates must make a goal (AN: I don't do sports, if I say something wrong, sorry.) in a basket ball hoop and one of your mates who is out can get in.

Our team huddled together. They all looked at me.

"Okay, here's the plan. Percy, Jason, Leo, Nico, Thals, and myself will be throwing the balls. Piper, Hazel, Frank, your job is to get the balls the miss us. Give them to Reyna and Tyson. Reyna and Tyson, you all need to focus on getting the balls through the hoops to get players back in for us. If none are out, throw the balls."

Coach blew the whistle. The game began. Our team got seven balls on the first go. The other team got three. I could see faults in their plan, if they came up with one. Mike and two other jocks tried to hit us. No casualties. We threw one at a time. I hit one, Percy hit one, his second ball missed Mike by an inch, Jason and Leo also got one out. The others gave there balls to Piper and Hazel. Frank had been hit by Mike. Reyna got him back in in two seconds flat. After about 20 minutes, Mike was the only one left on his team. Everyone, but Tyson, had made it. I let Percy have the ball. He threw it right at Mike. You could hear the bones crunch in his nose. Least to say, his nose and Percy don't get along.

I ran over to Percy and gave him a hug. Leo of course was ecstatic. "TEAM ONE WINS AGAIN! NOBODY CAN BEAT FREAKING GO-"

Piper put her hand over his mouth. "Shut up, Repair Boy."

Leo shut up after that. Praise Aphrodite for charmspeak.

After School (Friday):

Percy PoV:

We all sat around and did our homework. Coach Hedge was unpacking. After we finished, Thalia reminded us homecoming was a week away. Homecoming, next Friday. I had asked Wise Girl to go, she said yes. Piper was going with Jason. The same went for Hazel and Frank. Tyson was going to go visit dad that weekend. Nico was going with Reyna. Thalia said she was going alone. We realized Leo didn't have a date. "Leo, who are you taking to the dance?"

He looked at me like I was crazy. "I, Very Hot Leo McShizzel Valdez, am a hot plate of rice that doesn't need a side dish!" We all starts laughing after that.

Piper spoke up after everyone got all their giggles out. "Hey, all the girls should go dress shopping tomorrow."

Annabeth nodded. "Yeah, a girls day out."

We decided to go see how Coach was. He had finished unpacking and was going to sleep. We told him goodnight. After that we all parted ways and went to go to bed. Annabeth changed into her pjs in the bathroom, I changed in the bathroom. We crawled into bed and snuggled up to each other. Soon we both were asleep.

Annabeth PoV:

The girls had agreed to go dress shopping at ten. I sat the alarm to 9. I woke up right at 9. Turned the alarm off and went to go take a shower. After I got out I willed myself dry. A new godly feature.

I got dressed in some shorts and a gray top with my converse on. My knife was tucked into my back pocket, just in case. I pulled my hair up into a ponytail.

I picked the girls up at 9:45. I asked Percy if I could borrow his car. He said yes. We drove by Starbucks and got us some coffee. We got to the dress store at 10:05. We agreed to try on dress in front of everyone one after the other. Hazel was first.

(AN: this was so fun, making up dresses.)

The first outfit was a knee length gold dress with tiny straps. We told her to get it as soon as she walked out. Reyna was next.

Reyna came out in a short green dress. It looked like the color of throw up. NEXT! She came out in a long blue dress that was as straight as a board. Nope! NEXT! She finally came out in a high-low strapless black dress, that was cover in lace. YES!

Thalia went next. She came out in a short silver dress that had a little flair to the skirt. It had a black belt. YEP!

Piper went next, leaving me to last. First Piper came out in the ugliest thing I've ever seen. It was a red dress that was covered in feathers. NEXT! She came out in a baby pink dress that went to her knees. It had a silver belt and wide straps. She looked like a goddess. Which she was. YES! My turn. Yay…

I came out in my first dress and plum min-dress that looked like a hooker outfit. NOPE! Next was a gray knee length dress with no straps. It was pretty. But…NEXT! After two more, Thalia gave me one she said I would like. It was beautiful. It was a long flowing white dress, with tiny gold straps that met at in the middle of the top. It had the same thin gold material around my waist. I looked…WOW!

Piper gasped, "Oh, Annabeth, you have to get that dress."

I smiled and nodded.

Thalia smiled, "Wow, Annie. Pipes and us have decide she will do our hair and make-up Friday."

"Ok"

After that we brought the dresses we drove home. Thalia kept them in her closet. All the girls couldn't wait till Friday, the boys sounded like they could wait an eternity. When we told them what to wear this is how it went:

Piper: "You all have to wear coats and ties."

Boys: *Groan*

Percy: "Do we have to?"

Me: "Yes, Seaweed brain."

Nico: "Can I wear jeans?"

Thalia: "Death Breath, NO!"

Reyna: "Yeah, don't ruin the Look."

Jason: "The Look?"

Hazel: "The Look. All of us are going to come in down the stairs at the hotel where the dance is, and everyone is going to stare at us. The Look."

Boys: *GROAN*

The week went by fast. Hazel and Reyna had found outfits for the boys, black shoes, tie, coat, with a white button down shirt. We decided that the boys were going to roll up the sleeves and not tuck in the shirts. And have on their tie, loose.

Finally Friday got here.
