Tomorrow I had my first day of school, at Goode.
Samantha PoV:
I was up at six-thirty. I took a shower and slipped into a pair of light skinny jeans. I picked out a dark red shirt to go with it. I put on some black high heel booties. I wore a leather jacket over my clothes. The booties made me an inch taller. Ugh, I was so short. I put my brown hair into a French braid (it still went to the middle of my back) and pulled it over my shoulder.
As I went into the kitchen I saw all the girls were ready. I said good morning as I fixed myself a bowl of cereal. After that we went to round up everyone else. Leo came over and kissed me. "Good Morning, Madam. Today is a big, big day (an: if you can tell me where that line is from you will get a shout out)!"
I playfully punched him in the arm. "Thanks, fire boy. I'm already nervous."
We got to the school thirty minutes early so Elly and I could get our stuff. Leo offered to take us to the office. As we walked, Leo slipped his hand into mine. I noticed I was the shortest in the school. As we passed some lockers some jocks called out to Leo. "Hey, Valdez, who's the midget you got? She doesn't even come up to my elbow."
Leo stopped right in front of the jock and gave him a glare. "Mike, I swear, is you insult her again you will die. You don't know who you're messing with. I am a god, I can vaporize your butt right here."
The guy was shocked that Leo slipped into Greek. Leo put his arm around me, and pulled me off to the office. Elly's schedule looked like this:

When I got my schedule Leo grabbed it from me to compare our classes. It took him a while, thank you dyslexia, but we had all our classes together but first elective, he had metal working. Elly and I had homeroom and P.E. together. The three of us walked to our lockers. Elly's was with 5 of the gangs. Mine was next to Leo's and 4 more of the gangs. I put in my combination. I grabbed my History, English and Greek books. I also grabbed three spiral notebooks. I put two pens in my pocket.
When Elly, Leo, and I got to home room the teacher asked me and Elly to introduce ourselves. I hated every minute of it. I went and sat down next to Leo and waited for the bell to ring.
When we got to English the teacher fist bumped Leo. He explained that Paul was Percy's step-dad. Paul announced that we would be reading Great Expectations. He told everyone to go get a book from the cart. When Leo and I got up to get our novels he called us over. Paul gave us two copies in GREEK! I could read much easier now.
The day flew by and soon it was time for lunch. I went and sat with the gang. They asked how I liked Goode. Then Jason's eyes narrowed. "She's back."
A girl who was dressed in a tight blue skirt, and an even tighter whit top with 5 inch heels came up and suddenly started openly flirting with Percy! "Leo, who in Hades is that?"
"Chelsea."
I stood up. "Yo, Girly. I would appreciate it if you stopped trying to get with my brother." The girl turned to me. She was a many inches taller than my 5'3". She laughed. "There is no way you are Percy's sister. You are a midget, a nerd by the looks of you." Leo stood up and was about to tell this chick off, but Percy beat him to it. "Chelsea, don't you dare talk to my sister that way. Now, goodbye." She stalked off.
I finished my lunch in silence. After Leo finished he gave me a kiss and said he'd see me in P.E. Percy and Annabeth had Marine Biology with me so I followed them to the classroom. I regretted it, Percy pulled Annabeth away for a make-out session. I was left to find the classroom on my own. I was almost late. The teacher, who was in mid-rant, said we had a test. Percy saw my discomfort. "Don't worry, Sam. You're my sister. If I can make a hundred I know you can."
I found out Percy was right. I knew all the questions. THANKS DAD! After the bell rang I found out that all the gang had P.E. together. Annabeth took me into the girls' locker room to change.
I pulled out my black gym shorts and my red tank top out of my bag. I pulled my hair up into a high pony-tail. When I exited, Leo was waiting for me. He took my hand. "The coach knows us, Coach Hedge. He'll be easy on you because your Percy's sister." I had heard of Coach.
"VALDEZ", Hedge yelled, "WHO'S THAT WITH YOU?"
Leo dragged em over to the coach. "Hi Coach, this is Samantha Folsom, Percy's sister. Sam this is Gleeson Hedge. He lives on the left of Percy."
I shook Hedge's hand. He called everyone over. "Today we will be wrestling. You can pick your partners. Mike, you pick first."
Mike had a smug look on his face. "I want Samantha." Both Leo and Percy looked like they wanted to kill this guy. Coach interceded. "Mike, your 6'3. She is a foot shorter than you. No, pick someone else."
I stepped up. "Wait, I can take him." Mike and his friends laughed. Coach looked at me like I had five heads, but he let us be partners. We were going first, in front of everyone. "Cupcakes, there are no rules. Mike GO EASY on her."
Mike came barreling towards me. I stepped side. Eventually he got a hold of me, which was a mistake. He was going to throw me, but I kicked him in the chest. I twisted myself so I was on his back. He tried to shake me off. I put him in my signature choke hold. Mike couldn't get air. He was about to pass out when coach said I won. Mike started to cough and wheeze when I let him free. I walked off the mat. All the mortal boys' jaws were hanging open. They snapped out of it and asked if I was single. I punched one of them in the nose. "STOP ASKING ME IF I'M SINGLE. I'M NOT. IF ANYONE ASKS AGAIN THEY WILL END UP LIKE MIKE!" I went over to Leo and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He put his arm around me.
I think the boys were surprised I was with him. Naturally, the whole school knew I took down a six foot jock in P.E. so the rest of the day every mortal gave me weird looks. "What? Is it that much of a surprise that my girlfriend took down a jock?" Leo told that to whoever messed with me for the rest of the day. I glared at them. After dismal me and Leo went to meet up with everyone else. A jock stopped us. "Hi, you're the girl who beat up Mike. Why don't you dump scrawny over there and come hang out with me and my friends?"
"Listen you bitch, I will never dump Leo. We are immortal. He is a god. If you keep messing with me I swear to the gods I will freaking kill you and all your sorry ass friends." I had just cussed out a guy, in GREEK. Leo pulled me away before I could say anything else. He started at me. "Sams, you just cussed out someone in Greek!" At that time Thalia, Jason, Piper, and Elly came walking up. Thalia came to a stop in front of us. "What did Kelp Head's sister do?"
Leo turned to the small group. "Sam just cussed out Mike's best friend, in GREEK!" Jason gave me a hive five. "Well done, Sam."
"What did my sister do well?" Percy and everyone else arrived. I looked at Percy, "Don't get mad, okay. I may have cussed Mike's friend in Greek because he wanted me to dump Leo."
They stood there opened mouth, even Annabeth. Nico came forward. "Thank you, I have been wanting to do that, but never had the guts." Percy pulled me into a bear hug. "I think my sister just solved us of our problems with the jocks."
I sighed, "Why are you all making a big deal out of it?"
Piper came up and put her hands on my shoulders, "Because, if you went off at them like you said, well no one has ever done that. They probably won't bother us for ages!" After a few more minutes we all went home.
At home:
We were sitting in Percy's apartment doing home work. I was sitting on the couch with my feet in Leo's lap. Elly was on the other side of Leo. Everyone else sat on the floor, but Percy and Annabeth sat in th chairs. Then Piper, who had been next door taking a shower, ran in. "Guys, schools cancelled for the rest of the week. There is going to be a blizzard tonight and the weather people say there will be so much snow that the roads will be blocked for a week!"
There was a bunch of cheering, and a groan from Annabeth? Piper silenced them. "But, there will be so much snow that no one will be able to leave their houses. They say there will be at least three feet of snow." That would come above my waist. Percy looked up from his homework. "Do we have enough food?" I reached over and smacked him on the back of the head. "Of course, water boy, we have enough food." Then the house phone rang. Percy answered it. "Hello…but…okay…are you okay…ok, bye. Guys, that was my mom and Paul. Their snowed in at the store. We are alone until the snow clears."
I was scared. I mean twelve demi-no immortals to fend for themselves. TEENAGE immortals at that. Then Leo had to speak up. "At least we have electricity. Right?" I slapped him on the arm. "Idiot! Honestly, of course we're gonna have electricity. And enough food. Besides, the gods and goddesses can eat nectar and ambrosia, or, heck, make food appear!"
Leo looked down sheepishly. "Right."
Thalia groaned. "That means, I am stuck in a house with some of the most annoying people on planet earth? Not fair. I'm going to go take a nap. After she left we went back to our homework. I finished right after Annabeth. I walked to my apartment, snuck into my room and grabbed my bag of books. Hey, if I'm going to be stuck in this building for a week, at least I can get some reading done.
Coach Hedge had come and told us every hour he would check and make sure we weren't being 'irresponsible.'
When I entered the Jackson apartment I went back to my spot, put my feet back on Leo's lap and pulled out a book I loved. The Fault In Our Stars. "Hey, Sam?" I looked up and saw Annabeth looking my way. "Yes, Annabeth?"
"Do you have a book I could read." I nodded. I reached into my bag and fished around. I pulled out my copy of If I Stay. "Warning, you will cry." She nodded, "Is it in Greek? What about yours?"
"Yes all my books are Greek. And my book, well I'm reading it again. Will cry every time. You can read it after I'm done."
Leo looked up. "If you need cheering up, I'm right here, Sams."
I laughed and turned back to my book. Late in the winter of my seventeenth year…ah, how I loved this book.
Annabeth and I were almost done with our books by 8. We both were crying. I was crying, "Why, Gus, why?" Annabeth was sobbing, "Poor Mia." By the time we got done we both were hysterically crying into each other's shoulders. My tears staining her shirt, hers staining mine. I looked up. "You want a happy book?" She nodded. I went and pulled out my Greek copy of The Selection and handed it to her. "There are two more. Tell me when you're done, I'll give you the next one."
I went and sat by Leo who watching a sports game on TV, he put his arm around me. I still was sniffling from the book, so some tears leaked onto his shirt. Everyone decide to watch a movie after another Coach check. Piper said she wanted to watch Titanic. We all agreed. I watched and watched as Rose hated her life. I leaned up to Leo's ear, "If wanted to jump of a ship just for being forced into something, imagine if she was a DEMIGOD!" He smiled down at me, and kissed my hair.
When Jack had finally told Rose his feelings, I felt the world getting dark. I slipped into a deep sleep.
When I woke up I heard two people fighting.
"You are so scared of heights!"
"No I'm not!"
"Are to."
"AM NOT!"
"ARE TO!"
I spoke before the other person could retaliate. "D2." I fell back into sleep.
Percy PoV:
"ARE TO!" I was in mid-rant about making fun of Thalia and her fear of heights. Then I heard Sam call out "D2."
I was a little surprised that my sister just made a Star Wars reference. I didn't think some girls had even heard of it. I was impressed. The few days I had know her, Sam had impressed me. One: she didn't freak after I had just killed some monsters, two: she was great at archery and could kill someone with a dagger, three: she put me in a choke hold, four: almost killed a guy a foot taller than her, and five: made a reference to one of my favorite movies! This girl was awesome.
I looked over at Sam. Her head was on Leo's lap, she was in a deep sleep. I could hear her snoring a little bit. It was kind of cute. I looked up from her face to Leo. He had laid his head against the back of the couch. The couple was asleep. "Seaweed Brain, what are you looking at?" I turned to see Annabeth looking at me. I gestured to Sam and Leo. Annabeth sighed. "They're cute. Right, Percy?" I couldn't say anything. I just nodded. She was right. It was Leo and Sam were made for each other. I know it's cheesy, but it was true. I was happy for Leo. He finally had someone. Now for Nico…
Annabeth PoV:
All the girls, not Sam, Elly, or Thalia, though, they were asleep, had been dragged to the girls' 'dorm' and were getting make-overs. We were just finishing up Reyna ran into the room! "Guys, guess who I am now the official girlfriend of?"
Nobody guessed so she just said it. "NICO! NICO AND I ARE FINALLY TOGETHER!" Piper of course went crazy running around the room like a crazy person. Her inner Aphrodite was showing off. I simply hated when she was like that. I was happy for Reyna, and Nico. But….
Reyna left the room to spend some 'quality time' with Nico. When we went back to Percy's apartment she and Nico were making out in the couch. Ugh! Piper went all Aphrodite and started planning weddings and such. Piper was a little crazy at times. I had a feeling she felt like doing that when Leo and Samantha got together.
Girls!
Samantha PoV:
I woke to see Reyna and Nico making out in the couch. GROSS! I sat up and found out I had been laying in Leo's lap. He was watching a football game. "Hi", I murmured. He turned towards me. "Good Morning Madam."
"What time is it, Leo?"
"It is nine o'clock, eastern slandered time."
I had to laugh at that one. I realized I was in the same clothes that I had on yesterday. I got up off the couch. Leo didn't like that. "Sams, where are you going?"
"I am going to go take a shower and change into something more comfy."
I went into my room in the girls apartment, Elly was in her bed asleep. I walked quickly and quietly to my closet, got some clothes, and walked into my bathroom.
I turned the water on all the way up to hot. It wouldn't hurt me. I am a kid of Poseidon. I stepped into the shower. I wet my hair and used my lavender shampoo and conditioner. I rinsed my hair out and washed my body. After I had rinsed the soap off I turned off the water and dried myself off, thanks to Poseidon powers.
I put on my jeans and my tank top on and braided my hair into a fishtail braid. I walked over quietly to my desk, so I wouldn't wake Elly, and grabbed my bracelet, belt and ring. I walked out of the room tiptoeing. I put on my weapons as I made my way to Percy's apartment. I walked in on Coach Hedge. "Oh, sorry, Coach!"
"It's alright cupcake."
With that he left I went into the kitchen and grabbed some blue cookies Annabeth had made earlier and a Dr. Pepper from the fridge. As I walked past the couch I noticed yet again, Nico and Reyna making out. Get a room! I sat down next to Leo and put my back against the armrest and my feet next to his leg. He looked over at me and grinned. He pulled my feet so that I was sitting on his lap. I let out a surprised yelp. Leo took one of my cookies while I munched on another. Good thing I grabbed two sodas. We both opened our drinks and had cookies and Dr. Pepper while behind us, two people (Reyna and Nico) made out. I noticed that besides the couple Leo and I were the only ones awake. "Where is everyone, Leo?"
He swallowed his bite of cookie and pointed towards the door. "They all went to go sleep. You, I were the only ones who slept last night."
I jerked my head towards Nico. "What about them?"
"Well, they are going to go to bed eventually. A good night kiss turned into a make out session." Speaking of Nico and Reyna leaving, the couple got off the couch and walked out of the room. I watched them leave. I turned my head towards my boyfriend. "What time is it?"
Leo looked down at his watch. "It is 10 o'clock, Madam."
Before I could react Leo crushed my lips in a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck while his wrapped around my waist. He pulled back. I felt my face slip into a pout. He took my hand, "Come on, Sam."
He pulled me into the hall, "Grab a coat and put on some shoes."
I snuck into my room and found a still sleeping Elly. I went into my closet and slipped on some socks and brown boots. I slipped a green sweater on, and grabbed my brown leather jacket. When I stepped back into the hall, Leo had changed into a dark thick hoodie with a white t-shirt on. He wore some dark jeans and some tennis shoes. He took my hand and made a motion to be quiet. He lead me to the service stairs.
After the door closed behind us and after he made sure no one was on the stairs, Leo turned towards to my. "Sam, do you trust me?"
I laughed, "Of course Leo!"
"Okay, you can't tell anyone about this. I found it the day after we got here. No else knows about but me, and now you."
He lead me up the stairs. We rose 4 floors to the top of the little building. There was a door at the top of the stairs. Where was this going?
