Thanks for the reviews!
I loved every single one, hope you enjoy this chapter!
Previously: The two went on their first date, and over all it wasn't what either planned. Juvia met Gajeel and Lyon at the park, and after Gajeel pointed out Juvia's foot bleeding, Gray cleaned it up, and he carried her home on his back.
Natsu tapped his foot, waiting on the corner before Gray's street. He hasn't been waiting long, but grew impatient in the anticipation of hearing about his best friends first date with the most popular girl at their school. He was a little jealous, but then again he never liked Juvia seriously. Just as he was about to give up and walk back home, the raven haired showed up.
"Gray," Natsu was given a nonchalant look before Gray walked right past him. The pink haired boy rolled his eyes and kept up to his friends fast pace, used to the moody attitude. "Why the long face?"
No response, so Natsu gave up on the conversation and walked in silence. Just as they were about to reach Gray's house, a soft sound echoed through the street. The two friends stared in stunned silence, Lyon stood in front of Gray's house, holding his bat. Then in one quick motion, Lyon swung his wooden baseball bat hard, causing the sound of wind rushing. He repeated his swinging, not even noticing the two guys staring at him. Natsu began slowly backing away.
"Gray's here," said the monotone voice of Gajeel, who was previously leaning up against the wall. Lyon stopped, looked at the pierced guy before glancing at Natsu and Gray."I should get going?" The pink haired boy began creeping away.
"How's your girlfriends foot?" Gajeel asked, making Natsu pause in his escape.
"You guys encountered these freaks on your date?" He whispered, getting, again, no response.
"Natsu." Lyon's voice was calm but it spoke in dangerous tones, "let's eat together."
Gray went inside and found his mom already cooking for the four of them. After a couple minutes, they all sat down and began eating. The TV erupted all silence, but Lyon and Gray paid no heed to it, but after a bit into the meal Lyon flipped it off.
"It's fine, isn't it? It's just TV." The small glare from Lyon stopped that conversation, so Natsu turned his attention to Gray's mom, "Auntie, this fried pork is amazing!"
"Really!?" She smiled sweetly, "I'm happy about that! How is it Gajeel and Lyon?"
"Of course it's amazing," Lyon said and Gajeel nodded in agreement.
"My son doesn't say much, but if I recall correctly..." His mom thinks, and looks back at Lyon. "You two haven't had a meal together since middle school. Why don't you guys come after Karate practice?"
"Only Gray and I are in Karate Club." Natsu answered.
"Oh, you two quit after middle school? What a shame, you two were so good."
"I've been wanting to go against you for awhile." Gray stared at Lyon, and he smirked.
"Karate was troublesome, and Lyon's been focusing on baseball." Gajeel said, finishing his food. "Oh, Gray, did you eat something with your girlfriend?"
Natsu spat out his water in shock and Gray went red in the face. They stared at Gajeel, and Gray's mom brought over a towel for Natsu.
"Are you okay?" She said, and he accepted it.
"S-sorry-"
"Wait, what?" She looked at her son and smiled in anticipation. "Girlfriend?"
"Gajeel!" Gray yelled angrily and he shrugged.
"You have a girlfriend? My son has grown so much..." She went teary and stared at him.
"It has nothing to do with you, Mom!" He yelled, getting a glare form Lyon.
"Don't talk to your mom like that." He said, seething.
"Who confessed first?" Gajeel asked, truly curious.
"It was Gray!" Natsu responded, giving up on keeping secrets.
"You flame brain!" The black haired boy growled.
"I forgot you're at that age..." Mom said, having the urge to feed him. The comment only made Gray blush.
"What's so great about her?" Lyon asked.
"What's so-!" Natsu stood up, "she's Fairy Tail High's Hitode!"
"Shut up!" Gray yelled.
"So is he dating her because she's the infamous Hitode?" The pierced boy inquired.
"Her personality is also great!" Natsu continued defending Juvia, but now Gray sat in silence.
"She's a nice girl, easy to capture. Must be why Gray is limited to her." Lyon said, standing up. Gray's eyes widened, surprised by the malice.
"Thank you for the meal." Gajeel walked to the kitchen to clean his dishes and began walking to Gray's room
"Whatever, you two won't last long." He said before shuffling up the stairs.
The last three guys helped clean up the dinner mess and Lyon stayed back to talk to his mom. Gray and Natsu went up to his room and opened the door to see Gajeel relaxing, flipping through a manga. His black phone buzzed constantly and after a pregnant silence, Natsu groaned.
"Are you going to answer your phone?" He said, irritated by the vibrating.
"It's no one important..." Gajeel hummed then after it stopped and started up again, he sighed. He picked up his phone and brought it up to his ear.
"... Hey," he said, obviously uninterested in what the person has to say.
An angry guy could be heard from the other side, "finally, you picked up! How dare you ditch today's mixer!"
"My bad..." His tone screaming he didn't feel bad.
"My bad my ass!" The guy yelled, making Gajeel pull the phone away from his ear. "I'm going to give the phone to one of the girls."
"Hello? Gajeel?" A shy girl said, only to be hear by the delinquent looking boy. "I've always like you..."
"We've never talked before," he said bluntly. "It's better not to say like so easily, okay?"
He hung up, and threw his onto the bed of Gray. Gajeel tossed his phone half heartedly as he did so and sighed. Natsu and Gray now stared at him a they sat on the floor, oblivious to the fact Gajeel is remotely popular.
Lyon opened the door and nodded politely, sitting down across from Gray.
"You..." He said and stared at the now shirtless Gray, "better not be in a half hearted love. If you quit karate because of this, I'll never forgive you."
Gray stared at Lyon, and remembered his once good relationship with him. Then he stood up, and stare down at Gray.
"As long as you're here, I won't do karate." His stare turned into a glare and together, Gajeel and Lyon left his family's house. Natsu and Gray sat, deep in thought.
"As I thought, Lyon quit Karate because of you." Natsu stared at a photograph that sat on Gray's dresser. The four grinned and had their arms around each other shoulders, dressed in karate gi's.
Gray followed his stare and looked at the middle school Lyon, feeling nostalgic. He thought about the remarks he made, how each one hid malice. A small smirk sowed on his face.
"Like hell I'm backing off!" He suddenly yelled, making Natsu jump.
Juvia curled up in her bed, snuggling her second pillow. She closed her eyes, having troubles falling asleep after the excitement of her first date. She could barely believe it happened, the piggy back ride, and the whole date.
"Gray is my boyfriend..." She said to herself, as if saying it will make it feel like reality.
But it felt like a lie, like it was all a huge farce and soon her daydream will end. Yet, he knew it wouldn't, this is what's going on in her life. Juvia remembered the moment they met, opening ceremony and when he stood there. She knew, she had to know him. He never met her eyes, even when returning her school bag from the boy.
Juvia followed the memories, purposely avoiding the bad. The beach, Fireworks Festival, karate match, Ultear, Cultural Festival. The confession, in front of all those people. She smiled, feeling above cloud nine.
"Since when... Did he like me?" She laughed to herself. "Can't believe I'm thinking about this."
Juvia turned on her side, staring at the heart mask she got from Gray at the Fireworks Festival.
"When did I make Gray fall in love with me?... I'm really bad at talking, when we are together I rarely show a smile. Am I a good girlfriend? Which part of me... Is good?"
Juvia sat up, the sudden rush of emotion causing a chill down her spine. She pulled back the curtain that hid her window, staring at the city lights.
"I want to know what you like about me, and I want you to tell me." Juvia said as she closed her eyes for a shooting star.
She rested her head against the window, fogging up the glass. "If you can tell me, it will forever be my pride..."
Juvia tapped her pencil on her desk, getting bored in math. She knew she should pay attention, but thinking about it hurt her head. Juvia looked out the window, sad she only saw the had of Gray today because a group of boys blocked them. She sighed and saw the PE class jog by, not paying much attention. Then she saw Gray just behind the leader, jogging lightly with Natsu by his side.
Juvia reached out for the windows latch and unhooked it quickly, oblivious that everyone in class was watching her. The teacher yelled for her but she didn't care, Juvia pushed open the pane an Gray looked up. She blushed, not expecting him to catch her. He frowned, stopped and pointed at the teacher that crept closer.
She shrugged and he laughed a little, then pointed at his foot. Juvia stared at him in confusion, and then caught on to what he was asking. She nodded, saying her foot was fine and leaned out, her breath puffing out white.
"Good luck!" Juvia yelled. Now catching attention of the PE students, Gray blushed but smiled.
"Thanks!" He yelled, "you too!"
"I'm still scared, but... I hope I can ask you..." Juvia grinned, making all the boys go a little red in the face. Then the teacher threw a piece of chalk at her, forcing her to close the window.
Natsu turned to Gray and smiled "that's the second time she's said good luck to you," thinking about the time at the karate match.
"Yeah," Gray said, turning away and then remembered the good luck at the beach, before he went back to the Volleyball game. "Third time actually,"
"What!?"

Janne-Guest: (1st review) Dawh thanks! I hope I updated quick enough this time. I enjoyed writing this chapter.
(2nd review) PLEASE READ! I'm so happy you addressed this, but a little bizarre you didn't read my very first disclaimer. In the first chapter I stated that this fanfiction is based off of Hibi Chouchou. LIKE HEAVILY BASED OFF IT, in these upcoming chapters I'll be changing it a lot more and developing it into my own story and although using the timeline of Hibi Chouchou, characters will be changed for the sake of maintaining their true personality. If you want, I'll put up a disclaimer every chapter? But I did say the story and even the title is based off of Hibi Chouchou. Thanks for the review!
Yuki Loxar: **JOINS THE SQUEEING** LYON IS LOVE. No, I'm sorry, they are just childhood friends. So sorry, but he will be a recurring character! Piggy back rides are so cute...
Kyogan-Saori: GOT TO GET YOU'RE DAILY FILL OF CUTENESS! I hope so!
Alli-Guest: I only tell the truth. Only the Mature can handle this Fanfiction...
