Hayner always hated vending machines. He had always been a bit of a sceptic, so he definitely questioned the due-by dates for all the products inside.

He especially hated it at that moment, when his chocolate bar would just not get out of its slot.

"Stupid machine." Hayner muttered under his breath half-heartedly banging on the glass with his fist. But that gave him and idea, and soon he was shaking the vending machine as much as he could without breaking into a sweat.

He normally wouldn't use one, but he had time to spend, and now that he had an agenda, he was determined. That was, of course, until his blonde rival came to spice the situation up a little.

"Hey lamer, stop trying to hug the machine, it doesn't wanna be your friend." The muscular blonde adjusted his beanie and crossed his arms, leaning against the wall a couple of metres away from the other.

"Ugh, Seifer, only you'd try to make friends with a vending machine." The messy haired teen retorted, trying to ignore the way his mood had suddenly lightened up with the appearance of the other.

"At least it'd want to be friends with me."

"Oh, that hurts me, Seifer." Hayner made an expression of mock pain, and put his hands over his heart, "Right here."

The other laughed, and walked up to the vender, asking, "What'd you do to it, anyway?"

"It won't give me my chocolate bar."

"I see. Have you considered buying another one?"

"Um, no!" Hayner exclaimed in disbelief.

"Jeez, calm down." Seifer chuckled, before stroking his chin in thought. "You know what? I'll buy it."

"Huh?"

The taller teen was already putting money into the machine, and soon, the rogue chocolate bar dropped to the bottom to be collected by the payer.

"Gonna take it?" He smirked.

"Oh." Hayner looked up at the other in surprise. To him, it felt pretty odd accepting help from his blonde rival. "Thanks."

"Hey, not so fast," Seifer winked, "You owe me."

'Of course,' Hayner thought, before saying, "Can't I just give you some munny tomorrow at school or something?"

"What if I don't want munny?"

"...Then what do you want?"

Seifer leaned close to the other and whispered into his ear, "A kiss."

"Huh." Hayner blushed, trying not to look into his piercing blue eyes. He never realised how unusual it was to have a scar on the bridge of his nose.

"You heard me."

Hesitantly, Hayner leaned in and planted a short kiss, but the other teen wasn't willing to let him go so easily. After a couple of minutes they parted, the two of them blushing and grinning.

Hayner's grin was mischievous, though, and he took a few steps away, before holding up Seifer's black beanie before running.

"My... you little..." Seifer smirked in disbelief before running after the other.

Hayner definitely didn't hate vending machines anymore.

This was written for the one year birthday of CamoBeanie, a Seiner group on DeviantART. I tried to keep it as short as possible, and I managed to keep it less that 500 words, haha. I'd love to know what you thought of it! But I hope you liked it, thanks a lot for reading! :D
