Ch. 4: Taken by surprise
A month had already passed since I had last received anything from my stalker. As for my kidnapper, the police still had no leads. No one said anything at school, but my friends made sure that I was never alone. Mr. Monnery didn't give me a hard time about my missing assignments, none of my teachers did. It was hard for me to sleep at night, because I was afraid that someone would come into my room while I was asleep. After another month had passed the police decided that maybe my stalker moved away from the area. Of course, I had my doubts about this, but I was relieved when nothing had happened for the past two months.
Of course, I had spoken too soon.
A week after the case was dropped, I went to the Vivaldi's house with Crysta for a sleepover. Luckily for me, Vivaldi's parents have a high-tech security system so I didn't have to worry about anyone breaking in. To tell you the truth, I was still afraid that my stalker might be out there watching me. But I wasn't going to let this fear get the best of me tonight.
"Alice! Come now, we are going to play a game of truth or dare."
"Ok Vivaldi"
"Alright, I'll go first. Crysta, truth or dare?"
"Dare"
"I dare you to...kiss Sydney!"
"What?! Vivaldi, he's my brother! And he's not even here!"
"Aww, you're no fun."
"How about you dare Alice to do something?"
"What?!"
"Oooh, good idea. Alice, I dare you, to jump in my pool naked."
"There is no way that I am doing that!"
"Sorry Alice, but I dared you and now you must do the dare."
"Uuuggghhh...fine?"
5 minutes later...
"Wait, I changed my mind!"
"Too late."
Splash!
"You guys...!
"Ha ha ha!"
Vivaldi and Crysta had gone back into the house. At least I had a towel and my pajamas. I quickly dried off and put my night gown back on.
"Sometimes, I really do wonder why I hang out with them. Well, at least no one else saw tha...hmph?!"
I felt something soft against my face, but then all of a sudden I had blacked out.
When I had woken up, I felt as if I were laying on something hard and cold. I looked around and saw that the room I was in was dark, but I could still tell that it was a little big. When I tried to stand up, I felt as if I was walking on air. I expected to feel cold however, I realized that I was wearing something. It felt like a dress, I was wearing some sort of shoes with stockings and my hair was dry as well. Suddenly, the lights came on. I saw that my dress was blue with a golden pattern, and with it I was a wearing a frilly apron. There was also a blue bow on my head. I looked at the ground and noticed that it had a black-and-white checkered pattern. I then looked around and saw that there were small trees with red roses on them. For some reason, I felt as if I had seen all of this somewhere before.
I started walking, not knowing where i was going. I prayed that I would find the way out but then again, where was I anyway? It was dark but I could still barely see, and it was cold. I'm wearing different clothes, so whoever brought me here must have taken my other clothes off while I was unconscious. So...was I kidnapped by some pervert or is this all just a very bad prank? I had know I idea, but it could be both.
As I continued to find a way out, it felt as if the place that i was in was only getting bigger. Then, all of a sudden, I saw something that I did not expect to see.
