12-Noxious

Yugi blinked in confusion at Yami. "What...happened three thousand years ago?"

Yami sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "That was a very very long time ago, but I remember almost every detail now." Yami did have some trouble remembering things that happened, but after what Seto told him and showed him the Millennium Puzzle, he could remember every single thing now. And now was the time to finally tell someone. He held his past in for too long, and now he could finally get it off his chest. Sure he didn't like sharing his past with anyone, but this was Yugi. He felt he could trust him enough to tell him.

"Three thousand years ago in Egypt, Atem's father was a pharaoh. Atem's father was killed however, fourteen years after Atem was born. Akefia's creator, whom shared the same name, murdered his father Aknamkanon. Atem was just a young teenager at the age of fourteen and he was always sheltered to such violent things. He was barely let out the castle, and sometimes he wasn't even allowed to explore the palace, his own home. He did not know who or why someone would do such a thing. He found his father dead in his bedroom. There was blood all over the floor, and his heart was ripped out of his chest. Literally. I remember watching it slowly beep while laying on the floor as it died as well, it's veins still attached to it."

Yugi cringed as he pictured the very scenario happening. It was not a pretty sight. Yami continued on.

"Of course, being his only son and family, Atem had to inherit the throne. However, his uncle Aknadin, Aknamkanon's brother, refused to let 'some child' take a big responsibility like that. He had his eyes set for his brother's throne for years. It wasn't about Atem not being ready at all. The royal court reluctantly agreed Aknadin should take the crown. Aknadin was a horrible ruler. He was cruel, greedy, and an ungodly pig in human clothing...I hated him, but Atem despised him the most personally."

"Why?" Yugi asked. Yami turned his head to Yugi and just stared at him.

"Because Aknadin was not only a terrible king, but he was an abusive relative." He replied. Yugi's eyes widened a little.

"He...!?" Yugi started, but wasn't able to finish his sentence. Yami nodded to conclude Yugi's assumption.

"Not only did he abuse his power, but he abused his own nephew. He abused his son as well, but, let us not get into that." Yami remembered that Aknadin used to abuse Seto's ancestor as well, Atem's best friend. "Eventually, Atem was growing up, maturing into a fine adult. I grew up along side him. All those years, I had to watch him get beaten almost everyday by his uncle. Atem would always say how Aknadin was making mistakes as a leader, and so he just kept hurting him. Heh.." Yami chuckled. "Even a child knew he was not able to rule for shit. Anyway, Atem was now seventeen years old. He was at the perfect age to take the throne. Everyone did not like the way Aknadin ruled, and behind closed doors, everyone agreed Atem would be a better leader. I had saw myself how great of a leader he was. He was always taught and tutored how to rule like a king since he was a child by the royal court. Everyone wanted Aknadin dethroned, but no one knew how to do that."

"How come?" Yugi asked. "I mean, I thought a royal court would have power over something like that. Like, I thought they were like the royal advisers or something."

Yami sighed. "They did, actually. If they found any king unworthy of the throne, of course he would be dethroned. The problem was that they feared him."

"Why..?"

"Because Aknadin had the power to control dark magic. And he was a powerful user. Believe me," Yami laughed. "I would have ripped his head off with my shadow abilities millenias ago when Atem and I were still youngsters. The problem was, neither of us were strong enough. Which brings me to how Atem got the throne..." Yami smirked as he said this, this part of his story being his absolute favorite. "One day, the very day before Atem's birthday, he requested a meeting with Aknadin. For some reason, he wanted every servant, every worker, every member of the royal palace to come and witness their 'talk'. Even the royal court. Now, Atem usually told me everything that he was planning. He told me every thing that ran though in mind. Anything he had to talk about, he would talk to me. But this time, he did not say a word to me about what he was about to do."

~Yami~

"Aknadin, I wish to speak with you. Now." Atem commanded, and it shocked everyone in the room. That was a poor sign of disrespect. He usually held respect, and would address Aknadin by 'your majesty' or, 'king'. That rule applied to all, even Atem. This time, I could tell he was about to do something rash. Aknadin just glared at Atem and laughed.

"How dare you demand an order to me? I am your King! And what are all these peasants doing in my throne room!? Get out immediately before I execute you all!" He yelled. At first, everyone began to leave. Even I began to move, the royal court however did not move a muscle.

Atem raised his hand quickly and said, "Cease your movements everyone. No one is allowed to leave this room under any circumstances." He put his hand down and continued to stare at Aknadin. Everyone paused and stopped, I stopped as well. Both Atem and Aknadin were the center of attention once again. Aknadin scowled.

"How dare you all take orders from this brat! I am pharaoh! Not him!" He continued to bark and yell how Atem was just a lowly spoiled prince while he was a great king. Atem interrupted him, however.

"Are you done yet?" He simply asked. Fortunately, it shut him up, and he just continued to glare at Atem. Atem casually walked towards his throne. There were two guards standing in front of Aknadin's throne. They were confused. They did not know whether to stop Atem, or do as he said. Atem just took a quick glance at the both of them. "Away with you." He said. And they immediately moved out of his way with no hesitation. Atem looked up at Aknadin and smirked. Aknadin was pissed at the fact that no one seemed to obey him. That his nephew seemed to be controlling everyone. "You are but a royal fool, dear uncle. Your idiotic attempts to actually rule this land disgusts me. And I think, that everyone believes that there needs to be a slight change in positions."

Aknadin slammed his fist down on the arm of the throne in rage. "Shut up you damn brat! You are not even worthy to sit in this chair! Keep speaking and I will-"

Atem seized Aknadin's leg that was hanging from the throne chair and literally yanked him from his seat onto the hard floor. Aknadin fell face-first and howled in pain. Atem walked over to his body and slammed his foot on his back. Everyone could not believe what was happening. I was in disbelief myself. Atem was basically committing a very dangerous crime, putting his hand on the royal pharaoh.

"You..! Get off of me! You whore! You see this!?" Aknadin yelled at the crowd. "Is this the brat who you want sitting in that seat!? A violent monstrous shadow demon who hurts his king!? Some whore who sleeps around with his own disgusting creation-"

I honesty do not know what made something snap in Atem's head to make him do what he did, but it was very fast. If you blinked, you would not have seen it.

Atem swung his arm towards Aknadin's head once, and all everyone saw was blood. It was so fast I had to take a second to realize what Atem had done. I looked at his hand, he was holding a bloody khopesh. A sickle-like sword that was often used by warriors of Egypt. I looked down at Aknadin's body, I realized he was not speaking anymore. And once I realized what Atem did, everyone just gasped, even screamed. His head, was rolling from Atem's feet. His royal white attire, was stained with dark crimson blood. Atem stepped off of Aknadin's body and walked towards the throne. He sat on it, crossed his legs, and rested his hands on the arms of the throne. One hand still holding onto the khopesh.

By now, everyone was relieved that Aknadin was no more, but, they feared Atem now. As much as everyone wanted him gone, no one seemed to have him killed in such a gruesome manner. The royal council however, held straight faces the entire time of his murder. Almost as if they planned his death with Atem.

Atem looked at me, and I knew by that gesture that he wanted me to go to his side. I walked over to him, and sat by his feet obediently.

"Now I am going to say this once, and one time only." Atem stood up in the seat of the throne, looking down upon everyone like a God. When he walked into the room, his face held an emotionless cold expression the entire time. But then, he smiled brightly. "I apologize for what you have all just witnessed. Please do not think badly of me. I am no murderer, and I do not wish to frighten you all. You are my people, and as such I love and care for each and every one of you. Not just even in the palace, but all of Egypt's people. If anyone has an issue of how I rule, or has a problem with anything concerning me, the citizens, or even this incident that just occurred then please, tell me so! I promise, it will not be counted as taboo. However..." Atem's smile then faded into a thin line. "The result, of you insulting me, my lover, my father, or my authority as pharaoh, is me..."

Atem jumped down from the throne and walked over to Aknadin's head. He gripped it by the hair, and held it up for everyone to see. "...Collecting your head." Some tried to look away or shield their eyes. Atem scowled, his expression turning angry and enraged. "Just like this bastard here." He growled. He began to walk towards the crowd, and he got closer, everyone kept backing away. "I am pharaoh now. I am heir, and I have what it takes to rule this land." Atem threw Aknadin's head somewhere away, and glared at every single person in the room. Even me. "And if any of you, has anything else to say, now's the damn time!" He screamed.

I flinched. No one said a word.

Atem eyed the room once more, sensing that everyone feared him. He did not mind that either, if they feared him, he had them all in the grasp of his hand. He made sure everyone got the message. "Good." He then smiled again and bowed. Satisfied for what he did. "Thank you for your time. You may all go back to your duties."

~Yugi~

"M-My God..." Yugi shuddered at the story. Yami chuckled again.

"I know. It was quite a scene. Of course, the court crowned Atem the new king of Egypt the next day on his birthday. He turned eighteen. And like he promised, he was a great king for the past few months. He was kind to everyone, he made fair and excellent decisions, he protected his kingdom, and he gave the people what they wanted."

"Before you continue," Yugi interrupted. "Um, why did Atem murder Aknadin?" Yugi pronounced Aknadin's name slowly, making sure he pronounced it correctly.

"Honestly, he never told me why, but I think it was because of the fact that Atem felt he needed to rule. Like I said, he ruled horribly, but also, I think the reason was a bit more deeper. I think all those times when he hit Atem and treated both him and father like dirt really angered him. I think some of the reason was for revenge." Yami explained.

"He never hit you?" Yugi asked. Yami shook his head in response.

"He was too afraid. See, Atem was born with the power of shadow magic like his father and uncle. Atem created me with his shadow magic when he was a very young boy. I grew up with him as his best friend, until we started to develop feelings for each other as we matured. Because of what I was, because I was not human, that scared Aknadin. So he would not touch me, or even look at me. He would sometimes pretend that I did not exist. He knew that since Atem and I were so close, that he would do something to get back at him if he did hurt me. Probably kill him."

"Hmm.." Was Yugi's response. "What a crazy dude.." Yami ran a hand through his spiky hair and continued his story.

"Indeed, he was a crazy bastard. Now this is where it gets ugly." Yami cleared his throat and licked his lips. They were becoming dry as he was speaking. "Atem was only able to rule for a few months. For something happened on a particular day. It was the day I was created, technically my birthday. That day, the palace was raided right under our noses. All the inhabitants of the palace were killed except for the royal court. We had no idea. They were all killed silently. The very people who were serving us were the killers and we had no idea. I didn't realize anything was going on until Atem showed up. He knew something I didn't. He pulled me aside in his bedroom and told me that he could not read anyone's aura. At the time, I did not know how to read people's auras correctly, so I of course did not know about that. Atem explained to me that something, or someone was cutting off his power."

"He then told me he sensed something evil. He seemed paranoid and worried. I tried to tell him that it was nothing. The past few months were great and enjoyable. Nothing bad happened, there were no issues, we made love more often than we ever did, and I did not want him to ruin that from some insignificant problem. I was a complete moron, I did not realize that the problem wasn't as small as I thought it was. We then got into an argument a few hours later. He kept worrying about the evil presence while I kept saying that he was just being a paranoid idiot. He snapped at me, saying it was more than I thought. He then said I was not powerful enough to realize it, that I was too weak to see the evil. That pissed me off, so I hit him. Slapped him right crossed his face, hard enough to draw blood from his teeth. It was basically a punch."

Yugi's expression held some shock. Yami could almost laugh at his reaction, but he couldn't blame him. Even Yugi probably realized by now, that hitting Atem wasn't such a good idea.

"I did indeed regret hitting him. Because then, he began to fight me. Usually if we argue, Atem would never think of putting his hands on me, but this time, something made him snap again. Something evil and violent made him just turn ballistic. As we fought, I was obviously losing, he was stronger than me. He beat me to a pulp, even threatened to kill me. He had the khopesh in his hand again. The same one he killed Aknadin with. He had me pinned down on the ground and had the khopesh raised at my chest. I will not lie to you again Yugi." Yami looked at Yugi and made a small smile.

"I was scared." He admitted, his smile not leaving his face.

That shocked Yugi even more. It didn't take rocket science to realize that Yami was an arrogant, prideful jerk. But for him to admit something like that to him, shocked him. He was man enough to admit he feared someone who was actually stronger and worse than him.

"Scared?" Yugi repeated slowly. Yami nodded.

"I was very scared then. Back when I was a small shadow, I was afraid of everything. And I always feared Atem then as well. Atem wasn't just some human who could use shadow magic, I realized as we grew that he was a monster that was capable of doing so much more. Whenever he was enraged, I would shiver in fear. I always feared that one day, he would turn on me and become that monster that I always knew he was. He made me paranoid every day that I lived with him for years. And that day, was the day. I thought he was going to kill me, but he just stared at me. I saw how his eyes were glowing yellow instead of red for some reason..."

'Yellow!' Yugi thought. Before he blacked out from Atem's world, he remembered seeing his eyes turn into that color.

"He dropped the khopesh and got off of me. He simply said, 'You damn idiot.' and ran out of the room. Leaving me beaten up. The royal court personally set up a party for me for my birthday at night. It was almost evening, and I spent the entire day wandering the halls of palace, thinking about why Atem would snap like that. I cried a little, while walking. I was too vulnerable in mind, heart and soul to realize what was about to happen. Suddenly I felt dizzy and I lost consciousness. The next I woke up, I was on the ground, the desert sand was touching my body. I realized I was outside of the palace. And when I sat up to look around, everything was in chaos."

~Yami~

There were burnt scarred spots scattered all over the area. Parts of the palace were destroyed beyond repair and dead bodies of our servants and even some council members littered all over the place. I looked to my right, and I saw Atem's father's sarcophagus on the ground, damaged severely. You could see some of his skeleton, and the treasures that littered his tomb were all gone. I knew that someone must have raided it. I just had no idea who. I heard an explosion coming from the front of me. I stood up and ran to where the explosion was.

I ran and ran and ran, until I stumbled upon a river. The palace was located near the Nile river, so I knew that was where I was. I looked around, I saw dead bodies on the ground, but, I did not recognize them. They all looked like criminals, until it clicked in my mind, that those were the imposters that were serving us. There was blood everywhere. On the sand, in the Nile...Everywhere. I felt Atem's presence near, but I could not see him.

Suddenly I heard another explosion, and I looked up. Something was falling from the sky alarming fast. I narrowed my eyes to figure out what it was, and once I saw that spiky hair and that white attire, I knew that was Atem. I ran to catch him, and he was beginning to drop alarmingly faster. I was starting to worry if I was going to catch him or not, but thankfully in the blink of an eye, I felt something heavy drop into my arms. I looked down, and I sighed in relief. It was Atem, I caught him.

But, there was blood all over him. And he looked beaten and hurt, as if he was in a fight. He coughed and hacked, he looked up at me and smiled. I guess he was happy I was there.

"What...What the hell happened!?" I yelled. "The palace, the servants, even the royal council..! Everyone is dead! And your beat up-What the hell happened Atem!?" I continued to yell at him why he was like this and why everything went to hell. He just closed his eyes and let himself down from my arms. He wiped his mouth of blood and turned to me.

"We were raided. The same person who killed my father, has returned to finish all of us off this time. As you can see, they brought some help. There are only two left now, I killed the rest. As for the rest of the council...I am sure you saw their bodies. Some were killed in the palace while some followed me here to help. However, the rest were mutilated." He explained. That meant, that the globs of blood and bodies I saw coming here, were the rest of the members. I could not believe that everything happened like this. It was all so fast, everything was so great, everything was fine. But this day...This day was the worst day of my life.

"..." I said nothing, trying my best to take in everything he said. I was stunned, I could not say or do anything. Those people were my friends. Everyone in that palace took care of me, and saw me as another human just like them. Now they were all gone. Everyone was fucking dead.

"Yami," Atem grabbed me by the shoulders and lifted my chin to make me look at him. "Pull yourself together. We cannot let this go unpunished. This is devastating yes, but now we need to destroy the vermin who-"

He stopped speaking. His eyes dilated and his pupils shrunk. The grip on my shoulders loosened, and his hands fell to his sides. He fell froward on me, coughing even worse. Spitting up blood on me. I thankfully caught him, I had no idea what was happening though.

"A-Atem?" He said nothing. "Atem!" He continued to stare at my torso, the color of his eyes fading away. "ATEM!" His heartbeat, was slowing down.

His lips were trying to move, but they stopped and I felt him fall limp into my arms.

He was dead.

I slowly pulled him away from my body and looked at his chest. There was a huge gash on his chest. Like something huge stabbed through it. It killed him. He was dead. Atem was dead. I felt myself starting to cry again. I was still in shock, I tried to believe he was just passed out. Atem was way too powerful to die. He was the closet to a God I have ever seen. There was no way he was dead.

And then, I just broke down completely.

I cried and whaled so much, that I had dropped to my knees hugging his dead body. His face was still resting on my chest, but no matter how close he was to my body, I could not feel his presence. He was gone from this world. Dead. And it was my fault. If I was not so weak...If I had listened to him when he kept telling me about this evil presence, we both could have stopped this together. But instead I continued to act like an oblivious idiot and let this happen.

Our argument.

His abusive outburst.

His death...

It was all my fault.

~Yugi~

If Yugi felt guilty, he really felt horrible now. From yelling, to arguing, to chuckling and laughing, Yami was now sitting next to him covering his eyes with his hands. His body shook slightly, and his sobs were quiet. Yugi had no idea he had went through so much. And now he realized why he cared about Atem so much. Not just because of the fact that they were lovers, but because they grew up together, were closest of friends, and for him to die that way on Yami's fault, broke him to the core.

Yugi felt sad as well. He was angry at Yami for not paying enough attention to him, and now he felt selfish. Looking at Yami's most vulnerable and weakened state, made Yugi feel even worse. Yami was truly weak at this moment, truly broken. An urge cam across Yugi's mind. He wanted to help Yami, he wanted to console him and help him feel better. So, he grabbed Yami's hands and gently pulled them away from his face. Before Yami could look up and protest, Yugi pulled the dark one's arms toward himself and in one swift motion, he hugged him.

He embraced Yami tightly while praying to God he wouldn't try to kill him for it later. Yami just stood still, trying to comprehend why and what was happening.

"What are you doing..?" Yami asked slowly.

"I'm sorry okay!?" Yugi's voice held nothing but regret and guilt.

"Why are you-"

"Just shut up!" He squeezed Yami even more. "I didn't know okay?" Yugi sniffed, tears forming in his eyes as well. "I worried you and made you go through so much trouble because of me. I was angry at you for caring for someone who you've known for so long. Just because I was jealous..." Yugi slowly pulled away from Yami and glanced up at him. "I'm sorry, Yami." He spoke with sympathy and sorrow. "I don't like to see someone like you cry like this. It's just wrong.."

Yami just stared at the boy, surprised. "Why did you hug me?" He asked with a quiet tone. Yugi shrugged and wiped his eyes.

"You needed one, and so did I." He simply answered. Yami smiled and wiped his eyes of his tears as well. Yugi had a good heart, he was a good kid. No one ever consoled him, not since Atem was murdered. It felt amazing that someone actually cared for Yami again. He was truly starting to like Yugi more and more. He quickly wiped his inky tears away, feeling no more sorrow after that warm hug.

"Thank you Yugi." He leaned closer to Yugi's face, making the boy's cheeks turn red. He was getting closer and closer, his lips becoming dangerously close to Yugi's. After that talking, Yami's lips were craving salvation. The conversation had brought up a terrible memory, and he just wanted to let go. And what better way to let go, than to...

"U-Um!" Yugi quickly turned his head away from Yami and looked down. Yami made a puzzled expression. "I-If you don't mind me asking, what happened next? If your of course, willing to tell me." Yugi scooted away from Yami a little. The shadow walker narrowed his eyes at Yugi and closed his eyes.

"Well," He sighed once again. "That's when Akefia and his creator showed up. The guy who beat me up two days ago, Venom was there too. I assume the three assholes worked together. By that time, I was absolutely enraged. They just mocked me on how I let Atem die, and how the both of us were too weak to save our kingdom. And boy was it getting to me. Everything just started to flash into mind. Me and Atem when we were children, him becoming king, all the times we were together, gone forever. Because of those three assholes...They just continued to laugh and mock me over and over. So I finally snapped."

Yugi continued to stare and listen.

"I was on a rampage. I was so angry, I had no idea what I was doing. It was not until I calmed down that I realized what I did. I killed Akefia's creator, and did the same as they did to everyone else. I mutilated him into nothing. As for Akefia and Venom, I had beaten them down so bad that they were unconscious. I was tired, I was still angry, I was sad, I was basically every negative emotion one could feel. I just wanted everything to end. So I opened a gateway to Limbo and sent both of them there to rot, suffer and die. Venom was a bigger threat to me, so I secluded him to another part of limbo. A place called Oblivion. After that, I just began to wander the earth for years. Living in different places, always alone. I always kept to myself. I had no one else with me at all."

"..." The smaller teen had nothing to say.

"I loved Atem, yes I fucking loved him so much. We had sex several nights, and loved each other for every day. We were lovers. But now..." The dark one slowly shook his head as he spoke. "I could not be with him again. Not because I do not want to, but because I am far too afraid of him. I have feared him for thousands of years, and his love was just...too dangerous. Everything about him was just too dangerous. I honestly wish I never fell in love with him." He spoke truthfully, and what Yami just said was the most personal thing he could have ever spoken of to anyone in the world.

"But he said he loved you-"

"And it makes me happy that the said that." Yami cut in. "I'm not surprised that he still loves me, but it doesn't matter. I am trying to forget what we had. We are no longer lovers, and I do not wish to be with him when he returns. Perhaps he only said he loved me as a very good friend. But I do not think he meant as lovers. I think Atem knows that our relationship is basically gone as of now."

The boy just kept staring at Yami, stilled puzzled at to why he wanted to save Atem so badly. "But then why do you still want to save him so much?"

"Because he was my friend, Yugi." He answered quickly. "He was my first friend, since I was made into this world. Since we were children, we were together even then. He was my creator, and besides being lovers, we were closer and more than that. We were the best of friends and he was my everything."

The boy looked down and lowered his head. "I'm glad you told me that." He lifted his head a bit. "It kinda helped make more sense to me about all of this crap that's happening." He made a smile at Yami, who surprisingly looked back and smiled back as well.

"Well, I am glad I got to finally tell someone about that. That was a memory that haunted me for a long time. But now, it feels like a huge weight had been lifted off me." The dark one's eyes softened. "Thank you for listening."

Yami thought to himself for a sec and calculated how long that conversation took him. It was now even later in the afternoon. Almost the beginning of evening. "Well, I hope that answered some of your questions," The shadow walker moved from off the bed and began to walk towards the door. "But I believe it is my time to go. I need to get home, rest and train for a bit." Yami reached out his hand towards the knob, but he felt a small hand grips his wrist, stopping him from leaving.

"No." Yugi's expression held firmness and his voice sounded nothing but stubborn. Yami's torso shook as he chuckled at Yugi's determination.

"What? I cannot leave?" He gave Yugi a reassuring smile. "I will actually come back this time. You do not need to keep me hostage."

Yugi shook his head. "No. I want you to stay. I don't...I don't trust you."

"What?" Yami frowned. "What do you mean? Yugi, I just poured out my heart to you-"

"I know. But, it's not that. I just don't trust your word. What if you don't come back, and something like what happened today repeats itself?" The boy's firm features softened up. "Plus, I don't want you to get hurt again."

Oh great. Now the kid was being clinging. Though, things were good. This meant he was forgiven for what he did right? He just go home and rest. Yami laid out his options. After thinking it all over, he realized something. The kid was right. Venom could still be out there waiting for him before he could even get to his house. And then, he'd be a screwed man. Venom didn't know where Yugi's house was, so maybe he could stay here. And he'd be able to watch out for trouble much easier.

With a heavy sigh, Yami shrugged. "Alright fine. But I do not think your grandfather would approve of this." He pointed out. Yugi smirked and let go of Yami's wrist.

"I know. I've already thought of that part." The teen put his hands on his hips and continued to grin while Yami just stared blankly. "You can shift into shadows right? Just hide in my shadow until night falls! Jii-chan usually goes to sleep at around ten or so. All you have to is hide around until then!" His face practically gleamed up brightly, as if he just got a birthday present. Yami thought it was kinda cute. The way he said that Japanese term, 'Jii-chan', with that delicate little voice of his. It was just adorable.

"Hm..." Yami made a grin of his own, only his was more devious and seemed like it had some evil intentions hidden behind it. "We could sorta do that idea, only instead of me in the shadows, how about I hide somewhere else~?" The shadow-walker began to slowly get closer to Yugi, making the boy cower and back away. Yugi suddenly regretted offering Yami to sneak and stay. He realized-

That he seriously was asking a shadow-walker to stay at his house for the night.

As Yugi realized his crazy intentions, he felt himself back into the knob of the door. "N-Nngh!" Crap! He was trapped. And in one swift movement, the dark one had Yugi's hands and wrists pinned to the door, a knee between his legs preventing him to move, and his cold body pressing up against him.

"How about..." That familiar seductive voice lingered out. "I hide inside of you?"

"What!?" Yugi bewildered. "H-How the heck would that even work!?"

Yami's grin grew even wider, making Yugi regret asking that question. "Watch and learn."

Yugi's eyes widened as he suddenly felt a splitting headache appear. It felt as if it as ripping and tearing in his brain. "W-What the-" The ripping and tearing wouldn't stop. It just kept tearing up until he felt his entire brain just rip in half.

His eyes fluttered open. He looked around and saw that he was in his bedroom. But wait, he didn't tell his body to move its eyes. He stood up off of the carpet and dusted himself off. Again however, Yugi never told his body to do any of this stuff.

"That's because I'm in control now." He said. But, he didn't even want to say that! His lips were moving on their own! "Because I'm control now." He repeated. He realized Yami wasn't in the room. Did he leave? Did Yugi black out and he just left? "No, moron. Here." He said to himself. Yugi began walking to his full-body mirror that stood against his wall by his bed. As he looked at himself, again not willingly, he saw that his eyes weren't purple anymore.

They were bright red. "Oh God..!"

"Yup." Yugi smirked maliciously. "I may have taken over your body."

"YAMI, YOU SON OF A-"

"Best hiding spot ever."
