27-One Final Day
He didn't need to sleep, but man did it feel good to rest. He didn't even care that he was oversleeping the entire day away. He was at peace, and hey he didn't have nightmares this time. His dreams weren't filled with murder, he didn't feel phantom pains from his dreams, and they were filled with happiness instead. They were about Yugi and Atem of course. Living somewhere far away, alone. Just the three of them together, and happy.
A shake of his shoulder made Yami awoke.
Damn, that was a hell of a nice dream too. The shadow-walker mumbled something under his breath and slowly opened his eyes. He sat up and yawned, tiny black shadows flying from out of his mouth. He blinked, and sniffed. Ugh, morning breath. Those shadows thankfully took the odor away. Yami rolled his shoulders back and forth, gave a light snap of the neck and stretched his arms forward. Odd, who woke him up again?
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." Yugi's voice. Yami looked up to see one of his lovers. The shorter one, anyway. He appeared to be smiling. It's been a week and two days since their argument. Yami apologized the other day. A few days after Yugi walked in the house with a gravely injured Atem leaning on his shoulder for support. Yami was absolutely shocked, and he asked several times, 'What happened!?' Yugi explained that they had sparred, Yugi went 'all out' by accident and ended up mortally wounding Atem with twilight magic. Yami gave a glare, but quickly told him to take Atem to the couch and lay him down and heal him. Sure, black blood stained the couch, but Yami was able to get it off before it stained completely. After Yugi managed to heal the former pharaoh completely, it left a faint scar on his chest right next to the other. This angered Yami, until Atem calmed him down. Yugi felt bad once he saw how furious he seemed. He was seriously going to lash out if not for the other shadow-walker intervening. At midnight, when Yami tried to apologize, the little one was asleep.
None of them spoke to Yami that evening. For one person was too tired, while the other thought it was best to leave Yami alone.
After that day, the rest of the week was more pleasant. Yami would never know how, but Atem figured out how to work the stove by himself and the microwave. At first, it was Yugi who was preparing the meals, for everyone knew Yami couldn't be trusted with such an appliance. Atem insisted that he would let Atem take care of the chores and act 'house wife' for the time remaining in the house. The dark one was a happy victim of Atem's cooking. All his dishes tasted amazing, and everything was always to perfection.
Meanwhile, Yugi kept practicing using his abilities outside. He seemed more happy, and seemed to go back to his old adorable self. Yami had finally apologized to him once he finished that day. He apologized for snapping and almost hurting Yugi just because he was telling the truth about him. He was in denial and he just felt horrible. Yugi happily accepted his apology and hugged him into a tight embrace. It caught Yami off guard, but he didn't mind.
Its been nine days. The trio decided that they would finally end everything tomorrow, the tenth and final day.
Tomorrow was the big day. The day that a certain group of people would die. Hopefully, no one in the house would join them. They were all anxious, even Atem, for what might happen the next day. So much wrong could happen in such short time, and everyone may die in horrific deaths. Maybe they were all scared too. But so much right and good could come through if everything went well. The world would finally be rid of those vermin. They all strongly hoped that they all would be okay and the result of Akefia, Marik and Pegasus' deaths would lead to a good future.
Back to the present time, Yami greeted Yugi back. "Good morning to you as well."
"Come downstairs for dinner. I cooked this time." The boy gave him a peck on the cheek. Yami smiled a little.
"Sure."
"So..." Yugi began. The three of them shared a big three course meal that brought great satisfaction to their mouths. Yugi sat next to Atem, while Yami sat across from them. "How come you all call each other...Various kinds of harmful substances?" Yugi curiously asked, taking a bite of his dinner. The other men looked at each other, intrigued by the little one's question. For no one has ever questioned why they called each other such horrible nicknames. They never have themselves. Yami wiped his mouth with a napkin and started to answer Yugi's question.
"Well, we started calling each other those names since this whole feud started millenias ago. But, Atem started it first."
"Actually," Atem added. "I only began it so we could tell the difference between the artificial Akefia and the true Akefia."
"You only started that trend to tell the difference between Bakura and Akefia?" Yugi asked, a bit of humor found in his voice. "But couldn't you tell them apart by their skin color?"
"True..." They said simultaneously.
Atem took a sip of water from his cup. "But sometimes, your 'Bakura' would change into the form of Akefia to throw us off. However, their auras were completely different. So we would point out which one it was by saying their nickname and sensing their energy."
"Besides, most of our nicknames represent how we are." Yami continued. "For instance, we call Akefia Atrocious because his evil is very ugly. His entire persona, his insides, are just revolting to look upon." Yugi grinned at this.
"So you're saying on the outside, he's attractive?"
"W-What!?" Grey blushes decorated his face. "The hell do you mean by that!?"
"Hahaha!" The boy laughed at the elder man's frustration at the question. He got so easily flustered by the smallest things. Atem began to laugh too.
"Oh I assume its because we both share the same skin..."
"Shut the fuck up! That's freaking gross!" Yami yelled. "I would not fuck Akefia even if he was the last remaining source of sexual appeal on this Earth!"
...Well sounded all kinds of wrong.
Which only made the other two laugh even more after the pregnant pause. Making Yami blush even more and slam his head down on the table, hiding his face. "Just shut up and leave me alone." Was all he said, rather miserably. Seeing as how the other two tortured him enough, Yugi decided to change the topic. Didn't want Yami feeling glum when they were having so much fun.
"Okay okay, we're sorry." He teased while patting Yami's head like a child. Yami swatted his hand away with an angry pout, and looked away. Yugi giggled. "So you guys name different kinds of darkness too?"
Atem nodded. "Indeed we do. All darkness have an evil aura, but they feel different depending on the person and their personality. For the same reason, we only name them to tell them apart and to describe how they feel. For instance, Yami's is Vice. Wicked and immoral behavior. Much how he acts now."
"Fuck you." Yami's retort.
"Wait a little later for that." Atem's reply. "Anyway, mine is Odious." Yami lifted his head up and smirked.
"Unpleasant and absolutely repulsive. Like his sex-drive." The dark one looked right in Atem's face when saying that, making Yugi whisper light 'Oooh's to spice it up even more while giggling. To see those two fight was just hilarious.
"Yami, do not be upset because you are usually the one who gets pounded into. I am sure you will have your turn with Yugi, and you won't have to be submissive like you usually are to me." He said arrogantly with a shrug. Ouch, that's gotta hurt. The other man only stared at Atem with his mouth slightly open.
"You fucking bitch."
"My apologies, are you referring to yourself?"
"You little bastard!"
"Oh so you are referring to yourself."
"Alright, stop it you two." Yugi intervened just in time, because he saw Yami get out of his seat. Atem of course, didn't even glance. "This is rather funny to watch, but you two are so immature. I don't want you to fight or anything."
"Forgive me Yugi." Atem lightly bowed his head. "I would of course ignore his smart alek remarks, but he just does not shut up."
"Alright, fuck you!" Yami yelled. He picked up his plate of food and tossed it towards the other man. However, the trajectory of his toss just didn't agree with him, and went the wrong way. Towards Yugi. Atem wasn't quick enough to push him out of the way or take the hit himself, he was too surprised that Yami would start a food fight. And even more fearful, that he just hit their lover. Yugi, didn't say a word. He just stood still, his face completely covered with cheese and pasta. It dripped off of his chin as he never moved like a statue. Yami felt fear stab through his stomach.
"E-Err...Yugi, I swear, I was not aiming for you-WOAH!" If he hadn't ducked down when he did, he swore Yugi would have cut his head off with that plate. "I-I am sorry-Hey stop throwing things!"
Once Yami threw that first plate, he started the worst food fight ever. Fine china and other plates along with some bowls met their demise being thrown into walls. That three course meal was splattered all over the walls and on the good furniture.
Well, that only pissed off Yugi even further.
Right now, Yugi was chasing both Yami and Atem outside the house with a meat cleaver. The two flew as fast as they could. Luckily for them, Yugi didn't quite get the whole flying thing down packed yet. So their deaths would be prolonged. However, Yugi was faster than Atem and Yami combined, so they wouldn't have too much luck. Making sure they were a good distance away from the house, Yugi gave a good hard punch against a tree, knocking it down. He lifted it up with little struggle, and with a grunt, tossed it towards Yami. The dark one almost yelped at the sight of that tree heading straight towards him. He flew downwards to the ground and watched at the huge object pummeled above him. He sighed in relief, then whipped is head at Yugi.
"Why are you so upset!? Its not even your house!"
"It might as well be!" The boy shouted back as he threw another.
"Ra damn it!" Yami began to run away once more. His one mistake, trying to escape on foot. As stated before, Yugi was the fastest out of the three. Before Yami could run back to base which was their house, he was roughly grabbed by the back of his collar and thrown to the ground. He saw two innocent looking purple eyes staring at him with a sadistic smile.
Oh no.
"I'll deal with you after I find Atem. If you try to escape again, I'll blow up the entire area." With that, the boy stormed off. Yami felt himself gulp at the threat.
Meanwhile, Atem was indeed hiding, behind a place where Yugi would never look. They were basically playing a game. It was like freeze tag, for keeps. Like any game of tag, there was a base, a safe haven to run to if the oni or the person who was it was about to catch you. It was the only place they couldn't go to. Though, it was cheating if that said person who was hiding at the base the entire time. That was exactly what Atem was doing. He was hiding in the kitchen, the same place where this fight started. Yugi would never think that Atem would cheat by staying inside of the house.
Honestly, none of them knew how this turned into a game.
Suddenly, the front door abruptly slammed open. This made Atem's heart slightly pound faster. He was hiding under the table, Yugi would no doubt look here. But he couldn't move now! Yugi would see him!
"Atem..." He called. He slightly moved his head towards the table and grinned. "There you are."
The meat cleaver was thrown at him.
Atem slightly gasped and rolled out from his hiding place. He tried to get up and run, but he was grabbed by the back of his shirt and pulled backwards into a warm torso. Yugi.
"Gotcha."
After a few minutes of dragging and grunting, Yugi managed to get Atem outside and threw him right next to Yami. The eldest man gave a glare at the other. "You just had to throw that plate of food."
"And you just had to keep running your fucking mouth!"
"Stop fighting." Yugi silenced them both. He made a small giggle. "Well, this was fun!"
"Fun!?" The other men yelled at the same time. "How was that fun?" They asked.
"And why are you laughing? Its not funny! You nearly killed us!" Atem frowned. Yugi tried to stop his snickering, putting on a serious face.
"You're right, its not funny to you. Which makes it funnier to me!" Yugi continued to laugh as the two older men just kept glaring. "I've never seen two men yelp and scream like that ever in my life! Hahaha! From a kid no less!"
Now that the 'war' was over, the three were forced to clean their mess. As much as they didn't want to, they couldn't sleep in this filth. They all did agree that once the final fight was all said and done, they would find a new house. One that had more good memories than bad, making a fresh start. Though, those were only plans for a future they weren't sure of. As for now, they needed to focus on the present. And that, was trying to clean the food coated house. They were making good progress by using their magic. They were able to dissolve some stains and spots by having their shadows or light absorb them and deteriorate.
While half way done, Yugi began to have some headaches. He couldn't imagine why, but they kept coming and going. They didn't hurt too bad, but they were making him agitated. While he had these brief headaches, he saw flashes of what he thought might have been the future. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His eyes dilated as he figured out what they were trying to show him.
He saw himself, on the floor of some fancy looking carpet. He saw Akefia, and Marik. He saw two humongous black creatures which looked to be shadow beasts. He saw thousands of artificial shadow-walkers and he saw Pegasus tied with something he couldn't make out. He saw saw himself again once more, but only his silhouette. He only saw his eyes and his hands. His eyes were a dark purple, while his hands held black blood.
That startled him. Did he kill someone...?
No, he wasn't capable of doing that. He'd never end someone's life. Even if they were a bad guy. Sure, if he was forced to, he would have no choice. But on free will? He couldn't bring himself to kill another person. Hell, he never liked violence in the first place. He realized after spending time with Yami, that sometimes, violence was indeed necessary. For self protection, and protecting others. He was a bit upset that it took him until now to figure that out. Besides, actually being able to do something instead of just sitting on the sidelines or letting himself get beaten, he could actually be useful and stand up for himself.
But in those flashes, why did he see his own hands covered with blood. And why couldn't he see his own face or body? Why only his hands and eyes? Something was eerily creepy and dangerous about those images that he just couldn't put his finger on. Maybe he should tell Yami and Atem? No, they already worried enough about him, no need to put more on their plates. He didn't know how he got those visions, but they were shown to him for a reason. And that worried himself greatly.
After an hour or so later, the trio was finally done their house cleaning. Everything was white and spotless just like how it used to be. Yugi gave the other men a good high five with a smile. That smile started to falter. Those images started to really bug him. Atem was all about mental stuff, he could help, but no doubt he'd tell Yami. He hated to have his own issues weigh on their heads so much, but he had to say something. Anything to shed some light on what was going on. They were sitting on the couch right there, mind as well tell them both.
"Hey, Atem? Yami?" He asked aloud so the two could hear them. A pause. Maybe they didn't hear him-Oh dear. He smiled a little at what he was seeing. The two were 'cuddling' on the couch. How cute. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything." Oh he interrupted something alright. An intense make out session. Atem quickly got from on top of Yami and immediately straightened himself up. Yami did the same, apologizing for not hearing Yugi the first time. Yugi walked over and took a seat between them both. "I need to ask something."
"Ask away." Yami replied.
"I really wanted to ask Atem this since he thinks no evil. While we were cleaning, I kept having these headaches. And while I had the headaches, I kept seeing these...flashes of images. I think, I think I saw the future."
This made the two look at each other with narrowed suspicious eyes. Atem cleared his throat.
"What did you see?"
"I saw myself on the floor of some fancy looking carpet, I think I was unconscious. I saw Akefia and Marik, then I saw all these artificial shadow-walkers. Like, maybe hundreds or thousands of them. Then, I saw two huge shadow beasts, and I saw Pegasus tied up and unconscious too. It wasn't rope, but I couldn't make out what it was. Then, I saw a silhouette of myself, and I couldn't see my face or my body. Only my hands and my eyes. And my hands...They had blood on them. Black blood."
"What?" Yami stared at Yugi with confused eyes. What kind of images were those? If anything, that sounded like something bad happened. Atem pulled Yugi a little closer and places a hand on his head. He closed his eyes and looked into his mind, the eye of Horus appearing on his forehead.
He saw...
Nothing.
"Why..." Atem whispered as he took his hand off of Yugi's head, his third eye disappearing. "I could not see anything."
"Well," Yami started. "Can't you try to decipher what might have happened based on the details he told us?" He asked. Atem bit his lip. If Yugi truly did see flashes of the future, then that were to mean that based on those images, something bad was to happen during their final fight with Akefia. After all, it involed Akefia, Marik and Pegasus and artificial shadow-walkers. Not only that, but Yugi said fancy looking carpet. Meaning Pegasus' mansion. So obviously, they were able to neutralize Pegasus and he was tied up with something Yugi couldn't make out. But the one thing that strayed in his mind was Yugi on the floor unconscious, and the other vision of him having blood in his hands.
What the hell did that mean?
"You really might have predicted the future. And if you did, then the information you told seems to be based on our fight. However, the vision of you unconscious, and the other with you holding blood, I am fearfully not sure of." He bit his lip a little harder. "The only thing I could determine, is that you get badly injured. And then afterwards...I do not know.."
Yugi frowned. "W-Well don't worry about it! That'll only distract us from getting ready for tomorrow."
"I agree. Now that Yugi told us what might happen, we will be able to avoid it. So quit thinking about it." A harsh way of putting it, but Yami wasn't wrong. Atem sighed and scratched the back of his head.
"I suppose you both are right."
Evening, it was almost midnight. Almost the next until everything would go down. Yugi couldn't stop thinking about it. He was worried, excited, pumped, scared, and anxious all at once. Something bad was bound to happen during it. They all knew it. But like Yami said, they couldn't worry or else they'd never get any rest to prepare for tomorrow. He was currently laying bed, trying to let sleep take over. Yet he just couldn't get himself drowsy. He never even yawned. Granted, Yugi didn't think he needed to sleep anymore since he was no longer entirely human. But he wanted to get some rest. His body told him that. Sighing, he turned over and hugged his pillow.
The door to the bedroom creaked open, and he heard two pairs of footsteps. Yami and Atem probably, he didn't sense any threat.
He felt a cold hand rub his shoulder and down his arm. Yugi smiled, definitely Yami doing that. He rubbed farther down his body all the way to his lower abdomen. The boy then felt the blankets being taken off of him. He felt another hand, this time warm. Atem's no doubt. It rubbed down his arm, and made it way up to his cheek. He felt moist kisses on his cheek down to his neck. He felt himself moan slightly. He turned over to see Yami climbing on top of him, while Atem got behind him some how. Yugi was pulled up into Atem's lap while Yami managed to get between his legs.
Yugi blinked, this was going way too fast!
Atem lightly breathed in Yugi's ear. "We figured it was about time we showed you how we truly feel about you."
"That's correct." Yami added, sliding his hands up and down the boy's legs. "Tomorrow, we may not even see each other again. So if this were to be our last night together, we want it to be special and one to remember."
"B-But," Yugi looked back to back. They just kept going. "T-This is my first time and I never-"
"We know." Atem hushed him by putting the pad of his thumb on his lips. "We know it is, and we know you're naive to this kind of thing. But, we can help with that. " He slid his hand of Yugi's shirt, making him shudder at his touch. "We only want to love you. However, if you truly feel uncomfortable, tell us to stop, and we will."
The boy stared into those wine red eyes that held so much passion. Begging to show him how he truly felt. He sighed, if you can't beat 'em, might as well join 'em. He relaxed his body and allowed for them to do as they pleased. Yugi couldn't say no, a part of him wanted this for a very long time. Though Yugi never responded, even they knew he didn't have to. The boy was willing to sin himself and lose his purity to show his love to them.
Yugi saw Yami's head get lower between his legs. And he saw his shorts thrown to the side of the room. Once he felt something wet touch his pelvis, he gasped.
The next day...
After the intense love-making, they all went out like a light in no time flat. It was amazing, and nothing compared to it. Nothing but loud moans and screams were heard from that room. For a virgin, Yugi was absolutely wonderful. And as for him, he was kinda proud of himself that he was no longer a virgin, and that he gave his virginity away to people he truly loved. Sure, he was a little too young for his tastes, but no one felt any regrets. They slept peacefully, and awoke to the morning sun's warm rays from the window.
Once they were awake, they got dressed in their individual outfits and got to work on preparation.
Today was the day, and they had little time together before all hell would break loose.
END 28
Alright, so most of you asked for a sequel, yet some of you said I should start something new. My partner in crime who gives me advice from time to time about my writing says that I should start something new. And I'm starting to like that idea. For I already had something in mind ready to be typed. My decision is not final yet, but it will be once the next chapter is posted.
