The only thing Ichigo could do was hold his beloved bride in his arms while she sobbed shakily, stroking her hair comfortingly and whispering soothing words into her ear.
It wasn't much, but the gesture meant so much to her. He was the only one who could make her feel safe in times like this.
Orihime felt silly, being so vulnerable and letting the past affect her so much, but she couldn't help it. Sometimes she would go months without an episode, and then there would be a trigger, and she'd relive the nightmare all over again.
The incident in Hueco Mundo happened years ago, she should have gotten over it by now.
But Ichigo knew as well as anyone that time does not heal all wounds. . .love does.

. . .OK, technically it's day four but I got behind (whoops). Don't worry though, the actually entry for day four will be posted tonight :).
Anyways, on to more serious things. In this drabble I based it around the idea of Orihime having PTSD after what happened to her in Hueco Mundo. What Orihime experienced in that particular arc was (in my opinion) emotionally and psychologically distressing so it wouldn't surprise me at all that Orihime might have some form of PTSD.
