A/N: Yup, this is my very first Code Lyoko fanfic. I LOVED the show when I was a kid, and I'm SO surprised that years later, this community is still going strong! Anyway, I hope you enjoy my take on my old favorite show of all time!

I'm Coming With You, My Rose
Jeremie couldn't believe it. They were so close…so close to stopping XANA.
Only to find out that it was all a ruse set up by their arch-nemesis.
"HEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Jeremie heard Aelita's desperate cry. He gasped, tears springing from his eyes.
Ulrich was the last one to be devirtualized. There was nothing the Lyoko team could do.
Jeremie watched in horror as a Scyphozoa appeared on his monitor, going after Aelita.
"AELITA!" Jeremie gasped, his eyes widened.
Yumi, Odd, and Ulrich watched the whole thing unfold before their eyes, realizing that their closest friend was in danger…yet they could do nothing to protect her.
The Scyphozoa grabbed the pink-haired girl with its tentacles, raising her up in the air while placing three tentacles around her head.
It began to suck her memories away.
"AELITA!" Jeremie cried out, tears streaming down his face.
All he could do was watch helplessly.
After a few seconds, the Scyphozoa released her, and she dropped like a ragdoll on the ground, lifeless.
The area around her turned pitch-black. Jeremie's eyes were filled with tears as he gasped out:
"Aelita's…DEAD!"
Jeremie shook, tears falling down his face as he gripped the armrest of his chair. "Aelita…no…no…" he sobbed.
The Lyoko team watched as a black mist appeared from the monitor, and it flew to the dark, cloudy sky. Thunder boomed at the Factory, and Jeremie couldn't help but cower.
At Kadic Academy, the children and the teens watched a large, black mist appear from the sky. The mist, with a loud, booming roar, took each child and teen one by one, munching on their bodies till they were left with nothing but black mist.
The teachers attempted to protect the children, but they too were captured and eaten.
The Lyoko team rushed outside of the Factory to see the sky turning darker and darker.
"XANA…" Yumi gasped, holding Ulrich close to her. "He's…"
Jeremie nodded. "Yes…he's eradicating all of humanity."
Jeremie was right. XANA scattered all over the world, killing each and every human being.
Not even the Lyoko team was safe.
Under their feet, the bridge began to crumble, and Odd was the one to fall through.
"ODD!" the crew gasped as they helplessly watched Odd fall until his body disappeared from view.
"QUICK! INSIDE!" Ulrich cried out as the rest of the team rushed into the Factory.
They weren't safe there either. The place began to collapse, and large debris fell on the team.
Ulrich and Yumi were buried in the rubble, screaming until their screams were halted.
Jeremie was the last human alive.
The blond ran through the factory, his heart racing and sweat dripping down his face. He heard a crash, and he looked up to see a large pipe falling on him.
He attempted to dodge, but it was too late.
The pipe crushed him, and he could see the blood pooling around his body. Gurgling and spitting out blood, he had one last thought before he closed his eyes one last time:
I'm coming with you, my rose…
With that, his body went limp.
XANA had won. The Lyoko team had lost.
