Title – Paper Cranes

Character – Alphonse Introspective

Warnings – Depressing like usual

He has to remind himself sometimes that he is no longer a little boy.

The he is not really... human.

He is a suite of armor. No longer of flesh and blood.

He does not Eat, Sleep, or Drink. He cannot bleed or cry but he can die.

When it is late at night and his brother sleeps he is left Alone and Hollow. A shell of what he once was.

The Hollow pit in his (Chest)plate stores his heart and compassion. (It sounds suspiciously like a meow.)

Despite the steel exterior he is so easily shattered.

He remembers the ancient legend of the Paper Cranes and that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish.

So at night when he is Alone and Hollow he makes his Paper Cranes and when the paper tears so does is heart.

For hope; like Paper Cranes is fragile and easily broken.

A/N – I would really like peoples opinion on this one. It doesn't feel like it flows well but I like the concept. Constructive Criticism would be very much appreciated.
