It's time for another update, this time it's for Scooby Doo and the Blue Jay. This will be the second to last chapter to the story because 5 chapters is my normal limit to my stories (unless it really needs another chapter or two) so anyway, enjoy Chapter 4!
After a little spat with Mordecai and Rigby, Shaggy and Scooby decided to meet with the Gang near the Mystery Machine after they completed their work.
"Okay, Shaggy. What is it that you want to talk about?" Daphne asked.
"Like, I don't think this job is good enough for us" Shaggy replied.
"What!?" Fred, Daphne and Velma yelled in unison.
"Shaggy, this job is good for us!" Daphne exclaimed.
"It gives us money," Fred said.
"And it's not that advanced for us!" Velma added.
"Advanced? Solving mysteries is, like, the hardest thing ever!" Shaggy said.
"It's the people… Isn't it, Shaggy?" Velma asked.
Scooby was nodding but when Shaggy looked at him, he stopped.
Shaggy sighed.
"Okay, fine. It is," Shaggy answered.
"Hmm… Maybe we can ask Benson if you can work with someone else next time," Velma suggested.
"Rood ridea," Scooby said.
"Okay gang, let's go ask Benson for a change," Fred said.
Mystery Inc. headed back into The Park and off towards the blue house in the middle of The Park. But even before they can get to the path to the house, a big monster was standing in front of the house. It had a man's body with a bull's head, hooves and tail. It had brown fur and lots of muscle.
"Zoinks! Like, what's that?" Shaggy wondered, terrified.
"I would say that's a Minotaur, from the Greek myth; half man half bull," Velma answered.
"And it's, like, full scary, man!" Shaggy added.
"Reah!" Scooby agreed, scared.
"Alright, gang, It looks like we have a mystery on our hands," Fred exclaimed.
Meanwhile, while all the mystery solving is commencing, Mordecai and Rigby were playing their new video game. They completely forgot about their spat with Shaggy and Scooby because they're just too involved in the game. While they were playing, Benson came down the stairs.
"Hey Mordecai and Rigby, did you know where the new employees went? They should've finished their jobs by now!" Benson asked.
"Dunno. Probably staying away from the house," Rigby answered.
Mordecai punched Rigby in the arm.
"Uh… Rigby sorted made one of them angry, so he punched Rigby and left," Mordecai said.
"Rigby!" Benson yelled.
"What? They were accusing us of slacking!" Rigby whined.
"Hey, you guys do slack off so they're sort of right," Benson said.
"We weren't slacking, we're taking a break!" Rigby lied.
"At the start of your assigned job?" Benson asked.
"Hey guys, they're outside!" Mordecai butted in.
Mordecai, Rigby and Benson raced to the window and saw Mystery Inc. discussing something and then headed off into teams. Shaggy and Scooby went to the left and Fred, Daphne and Velma went to the right.
"Why are they going in different directions?" Mordecai asked.
"Hmm… according to their applications, they are a team of mystery solvers," Benson replied.
"Mystery solvers? They never mentioned that," Rigby said.
"That's probably because you were too busy slacking off!" Benson said.
"Should we go after them or something?" Rigby asked.
"Good idea, Rigby."
"Let's split up, we'll cover more ground,"
"Yeah, you guys go ahead" Rigby said.
"No, Rigby, you're coming with us!" Mordecai exclaimed.
"You guys go after Shaggy and Scooby, I'll go after Fred, Daphne and Velma," Benson said.
"Aw what? They hate us, though!" Rigby groaned.
"Just go after them…" Benson sighed.
"Come on, Rigby!"
"Fine," Rigby exclaimed, angrily.
Mordecai, Rigby and Benson headed out the door and off towards the directions where Mystery Inc. headed towards.
Meanwhile, at the snack bar, Shaggy and Scooby were preparing to eat a whole pile of food, from popcorn and nachos with lots of cheese.
"Man, aren't I hungry!" Shaggy said.
"Reah, re ro!" Scooby said.
Scooby began squishing a bunch of random food into two slices of bread and wolfed it down in one bite. Shaggy was about to do the same but then he grabbed some Five Skull Fire Sauce and sprinkled some on the food, then he threw it up in the air and swallowed it whole.
Scooby and Shaggy were devouring some of the other food when Mordecai and Rigby came by and walked towards the duo, and they were disgusted.
"Ah, gross, I've never seen anyone eat like that!" Rigby said.
Scooby and Shaggy stopped eating to look at Mordecai and Rigby and had angry looks on their face. They sat back on their seats and crossed their arms.
"Like, what do you guys want?" Shaggy asked, angrily.
"We just wanted to know what you guys were doing," Mordecai replied.
"We're, like, eating!" Shaggy said.
"Are rou rind?" Scooby asked.
"What did he say?" Rigby asked Shaggy.
"Why do you, like, want to know?" Shaggy wondered.
"Dude, what's your problem!? What have you got against us?" Mordecai barked.
"Like, what's my problem!? You two are slackers and you care more about yourselves rather than anyone else!" Shaggy shouted.
"Aren't you guys supposed to be mystery solvers? Because you're not doing any detective work to me!" Rigby said.
Shaggy and Scooby said nothing; they were shaking with fear.
"Look, Mordecai, they can't say anything!" Rigby exclaimed.
"Because they knew that we're right," Mordecai said.
"Like, it's not that, man," Shaggy quivered.
Behind Mordecai and Rigby was the Minotaur, growling. However Mordecai and Rigby didn't have the faintest idea.
"Excuse us, like, Scoob and I have to… RUN FOR OUR LIVES!" Shaggy yelled.
Shaggy and Scooby ran off to the left side of the Park, leaving a dust trail behind.
"What are they afraid of?" Rigby wondered.
The Minotaur snarled so loud that Mordecai and Rigby turned around to face the Minotaur, it let out a loud roar.
"What the H-?" Mordecai exclaimed, startled.
"Let's get out of here!" Rigby yelled.
Mordecai and Rigby sprinted in the same direction that Scooby and Shaggy ran away.
That's the fourth chapter done! Only one more chapter to go (unless it really needs another chapter)
