We walked for about three miles when we met our first monster, fortunately when we were confronted by two monsters. They were Cyclopes. They were about eight feet tall and one was a little taller than the other and that one was green. The shorter one was yellow with very light green dots. Charlie struck first. He cut into the green Cyclopes arm. Beth took the next; she hit the yellow and green monster in the shin with the biggest stick I ever saw.
Charlie set another strike right in the middle and he suddenly blasted into pieces. Beth got her knife out and the other Cyclops' waist, once on the left and once on the right. Then the other one blasted into pieces. While all that happened I got my knife out and waved it everywhere. "Good job you guys," I said.
"Thanks," the two of them said.
"So, what do we do know?"
"Well, we have to just move on. And fight more monsters to a secret hide out?"
"Where?"
"To Mississippi."
"Then what?"
"I guess we'll think of something."
