I clumsily stumble to my final period, Biology. I'm trying hard to not think about who will be there. I'm hoping that he isn't as hostile to me as he is to Bella in the book.

Before entering the room, I take a deep breath.

"You must be Bella." Says Mr Molina.

"Yep." I smile.

"Okay. Hmm, where should we put you? Next to Edward?"

"Sure!" I squeak in response.

'Do not be a fan girl, do not be a fan girl.' I chant in my head.

I slide cautiously onto stool, trying to avoid making eye contact with him.

"Hello, my name is Edward Cullen." He says quietly, his voice is beautiful, so melodic.

"Um, hi. I'm Is- Um Bella. I'm Bella." I stutter stupidly. Shyly I glance up at his face.

My crutches fall out of my hands and clatter onto the floor loudly.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I say, humiliated.

"Don't worry about it." He smiles and picks them up.

The entire lesson goes by but I don't learn anything as I'm concentrating too hard on keeping my heartbeat at a normal human's pace.

Finally the bell rings and I am so relieved I got through the hour without embarrassing myself too much.

"Goodbye Bella."

"Bye Edward, it was nice meeting you."

"But we've already met." He smiles.

"What? When?" I ask, trying to rack my mind of where exactly in the plot of Twilight I was.

"On your first day here. When you were hit by the van. I suppose I couldn't just let you die, so I caught you."

Carlisle had said that one of his sons had caught me, I just hadn't taken it into account. I open my mouth to say 'thank you' but instead start questioning him.

"But... I saw you, and your family. You were all the other side of the car park."

"I started walking towards you, I wanted to say 'hi', and then I saw the van coming so I ran. It was probably adrenaline." He hastily explains. "I've got to go, I'm driving my family home. Goodbye Bella."

"Bye... And thank you!" I call after him, knowing he would hear me.
