Chapter 21: The End Justifies the means…

Both Tali and Jack were stripped of their clothing, both in passionate love making, Tali was rubbing her hands along Shepard's back, Shepard moving his hands along Tali's waists, then to her hips. Shepard was being very careful not to damage Tali's fragile form. Tali picked up her speed by pushing Shepard on his back while she rode him at a steady pace. Shepard placed his hands on her waist while moving down to her shapely rear. Tali gave out an aroused gasp as Shepard grabbed her sensitive cheeks.
"S-Shepard."
This is really happening, and I didn't drink anything! I want to try something else… I-I saw a vid of Human's in a position… I probably shouldn't bring this up to Shepard.
Tali broke the Union between the two, she turned around on the bed her ass facing towards Shepard, she got on her knees. Shepard sat up positioning himself behind her, he placed his hands on her cheeks, while inserting himself in to her.
Tali was reveling in the sensation coursing through her body, if there was any pain she was to engrossed in the sex to notice it. Jack pulled out of Tali, leaving a questioning expression on her.
"Shepard… I-I, why did you stop?"
Jack flipped Tali on her back putting her legs around his shoulders. Shepard reinserted himself in to the front of Tali. A new feeling coursed through Tali as orgasmic pulses were traveling southward to her lower region.
"Oh Keeeeelah! Shepard! Keep going!"
Shepard put down her legs as he placed himself on top of Tali, Shepard picked up his speed in the thrusts.
Keelah I don't know if I can keep this up!
Tali tapped on Shepard's shoulder trying to gain his attention. Shepard pulled out sitting up, giving Tali a breather.
"Oh Keelah, Shepard… You didn't uh well…"
"Reached my climax? Yeah I was trying to take it easy with you."
Take it easy with me?! Bostet I'm not a fragile flower, and I'm not giving up that easily, get your head in the game Tali!
Tali tackled Jack on his back, moving with a steady rhythm. Shepard sat up grabbing Tali and setting her back on her knees, he was thrusting in and out of Tali that she was giving off a mix of painful and pleasurable yelps and gasps.

Tali was done for the night as was Shepard he gave her body a few more thrusts before pulling out. Tali rested herself against Shepard shivering a bit from the temperature of the room. Jack pulled the blanket over them, with that done Tali snuggled herself closer to Shepard, while Shepard just reached in to his drawer grabbing a Cigarette. As he lights it, and gives of a strong inhale, Tali however swipes it from his hand. Jack looked at Tali, thinking she was going to lecture him on it like last time, but to his surprise Tali looked at the Cigarette inhaling it, then coughing a bit. Shepard sighed grabbing it from her then extinguishing it. As the cigarette was put out Jack pulled out Project Renegade formula and shared a drink with her.
One Hour Later…
Tali awoke from the covers and saw Jack sitting on top of the table.
"Keelah that, that was amazing Shepard."
"That amazing huh? Want to go again."
Tali began to giggle a bit.
"Shepard!"
Joker activated the comm.
"Commander we'll be exiting the Mu Relay in five minutes."
Jack hoped off his desk and started to get in his Nightmare armor. Tali looked at Shepard with sorrow.
"Shepard, whatever happens… Thank you… For everything."
As the two exited the Captain's Quarters, Navigator Pressley, Liara and Ashley joined Joker in the Cockpit.
Tali and Shepard stepped right by Joker, Joker leans his head to alert the Commander about the situation on Illos.
"Commander Stealth Systems are engaged, there is a whole Geth Fleet stationed over it though…. Hold on I got a fix on Saren's position… Hmmm Commander he's got Four Geth Platoons securing the ruins, getting in isn't going to be easy."
Jack placed a hand on his chair.
"Take us in Joker."
Before Joker could finalize the coordinates, Navigator Pressley intervened.
"Negative on that Commander, the best I can do is pin point a landing twenty clicks away."
It was too far away, Saren would have reached the Conduit by then.
"No, we'll enter the Mako and the transport attachment, Joker I trust your flying skills, drop us right on top of that Asshole!"
Joker gave the Commander a serious look and nodded.
"You can count on me Shepard."
Saren was entering the ruins with a few Geth Colossus's, before he himself could enter he spotted the Normandy zooming down dropping the Mako. His eyes widened as the doors were closing and the Mako might make it in. The Gate closed as the Mako hit the ground, the Ground team exited the vehicles. Jack hopped on top of the Mako and signaled the attention of the entire ground team.
"Alright listen up! What happens in the next few moments will be a decisive one, every single soul in the Galaxy now depends on us this moment, today we stop Saren, Today we break the cycle of Extinction, Today we End the Living Nightmare of the Reapers, I look in to each and every one of you and say to myself 'I couldn't ask for a better team.' The next hour we'll all be laughing about this, Or we'll all meet up in heaven for drinks, I'm buying. LETS MOVE OUT!"
The Crew gave their cheer and got behind Shepard.
"So any ideas how we're going to bring down this door Commander Shepard?" Asked Conrad
Jack looked at the door's console, it's off due to lack of power, the Mako has its own battery, but not enough to open the door.
"Those chords on the ground are going underground; there is likely a facility to power this blast door." Stated Shepard
Jack started to go up the stairs behind the vehicles, the courtyard was littered with Geth, it wasn't easy the Crew was fighting in tight corners, and the Geth was giving no quarter. The fight ended with scrap piles spread out across the courtyard and the team approaching a power down door.
"Damn… this door is powered down…. There should be a maintenance elevator on the far side of the compound Commander." Stated Garrus.
What Garrus said was true, but there was no time to waste Jack grabbed the door and began to pry the steel blast door open. Bethora's eyes widened as she saw a horde of Geth Variants coming up both ramps behind them.
"Heavy's down the rope first, Medium follow, then light…. I'll hold off the Geth." Ordered Jack.
Tali couldn't believe what Shepard said, no one could hold that many Geth off, and live to tell the tale.
"Shepard! No we'll all go down there together."
Jack turned around to face Tali.
"Tali if we all go down there we'll be fighting Geth both in front of us and behind us. Listen Tali I need you to go down there restore power to get that door open, they need you down there, you need to survive… None of this would've been possible without you and that data, you may have single handedly saved the Galaxy, now please go… I'll be fine."
With that said, Tali removed her face plate, followed by Jack's helmet, then proceeded to lock her lips with Shepards.
"Please be careful Shepard…"
Tali popped her faceplate back on and slowly backed away from Shepard, Tali gave one last look at Shepard then hooked on to the rope to propel down. All that remained was Shepard and the Horde of Geth. Jack latched his helmet back on while equipping his AR-15 switching to full auto.

The Geth horde was now facing Shepard, Jack was deciding how to take on the horde, within seconds the Geth opened fire, thousands of projectiles zoomed at Jack. Jack was moving out of the way dodging Geth fire, while firing back. The Geth began to move towards the rope that led down to the powered down elevator.
Jack popped out of cover defending that opening stopping any Geth that tried to go near the door. Every bullet that was fired from the barrel, immediately hit a critical area in the Geth, either hitting its head or severing the power chord on its back. A noticeable `CHINK` came from his rifle, hearing that he strapped his gun to his back, switching to his Stake out, Jack fired several slugs in to Seven Geth Destroyers, ripping them to shreds.
A Shell got jammed in the Shotgun; Jack took his Shot gun by the barrel striking the Geth Stalker that leapt at him. The Shell was ejected from the Stake out; Jack took his Stake Out firing the remaining shells in the gun. Out of ammo, he swapped weapons to his two 1911 Colts, firing at the approaching Geth Troopers. As he fired his remaining bullets in the Colt, he didn't bother reloading, Jack holstered his handguns and switched to his Combat Knife, in close combat Jack was slicing off the heads of the Geth, while dodging rocket fire. Jack sheathed his knife and did three back flips to get some room. Out of his armor on his arm a steel wire started to come out Jack grabbed a hold of the wires with both hands, the wire still attached to the armor started to glow red, Jack began to swing these steel wires as they cut the Geth troops to shreds. Jack wrapped both wires around a Geth Armature's head while it was charging its cannon, and brought its head slamming to the pavement causing an explosion. The wires began to withdraw back to the armor, Jack drew his Cerberus Sword. A Geth Destroyer that got too close was cut across, and a Stalker that flew at Jack was sliced down the middle. Jack was obliterating the Geth trying to gain access down the rope.
Jack sheathed his blade and started to take out the Geth from hand to hand, ripping their heads off their platforms body. Jack tackled the Geth Prime stomping a hole in its chest then taking its head clean off its shoulders. Jack took the Geth Prime's head and threw it at the Colossal to get its attention; it worked as the Colossal fired its weapon at Jack. Jack charged at the Colossal while dodging the siege blast, Jack approached the Colossal grabbing it's front leg and started to twirl it around destroying multiple Geth Platforms. Jack smashed the Geth Colossal against the wall, with the Geth Colossal pinned, Jack tore off its head. The surrounding Geth began to swarm Jack, Jack however noticed this, his fists had an electrical surge around them. Jack slammed his fist in to the ground with full force, which resulted in an electrical explosion blowing up the surrounding Geth.
[Scanning]… …. …
All Targets Eliminated.
With all Geth Platforms destroyed, the elevator came up with the ground team. Before them were hundreds of destroyed Geth Platforms.
"Shepard!" Yelled Tali
Tali grabbed a hold of Shepard, and pulled him in for a hug.
"Did you guys get the power on?"
"Yes we did, Shepard how did you take out all these Geth." Said Tali
"Years of Training, I told you, I would be fine….. Now let's get Saren's head."
The crew approached the Blast door that was wide open, Nick looks at the vehicles.
"So who votes we take the Vehicles through the creepy dark tunnel."
"Good Idea we'll need the Firepower to fight whatever's down there." Replied Kaidan
The crew immediately loaded up in the vehicles knowing they were already loosing time to stop Saren. The Mako was moving at maximum speed.
"Damn it this thing needs to move faster." Stated Jack.
Ashley was looking at the surrounding pods on the walls.
"Hey what do you think these things are on the wall?"
"They're stasis pods, see the ones sticking out, those are empty ones, the ones that are still in the wall, had their power shut off, they're dead inside."
Liara couldn't believe it, that most of the stasis pods were off.
"All of these? There must've been hundreds of these… what was Saren trying to find here, there is only bodies in here."
Jack's eyes narrowed on a small object not too far ahead, it was Saren on a large Geth Hover craft[Kind of like a desert skiff from Starwars but it's Geth tech.].
[Target acquired]
Jack hit the throttle, on the controls and prepared to ram into the craft. The Mako slammed in to the Hover craft attaching to the back of the vehicle.
"Garrus Take the Wheel!"
Garrus and Jack shifted positions Jack opened the side window climbing on top of the Mako.
"Saren!"
"Your interference Shepard, has caused me much grief, however I will not be beaten so easily, I had Sovereign upgrade me, the doubts are gone, and my vision is clear. You will not stop us!"
Jack jumped on the Geth Hover Craft tackling Saren, the two were exchanging in hand to hand. Saren was not Joking when he had Sovereign implant him, he was faster, stronger, and more alert. Saren hit Jack in the chest.
"You're going to have to hit harder for that to hurt me."
Saren gave out a growl and swung his Talons at Shepard, Shepard threw a strong punch on the Left side of Saren's face. Saren stumbled back, Shepard with both hands slammed the palms of his hands on both sides of his face stunning Saren. Jack was about to kick Saren off his feet, with his foot in midair, Saren tackled Jack to the floor. Jack drew his blade sticking it in his arm, Saren however did not flinch, instead he laughed cynically.
"Sovereign removed my pain receptors, pain will not set me back, Shepard."
Shepard grabbed Saren's face, Saren didn't expect what happened next.
[Command]/ Target Neural Implant/Operational Command/Scramble.
Jack smiled behind his helmet giving out a quick laugh.
Within two seconds Saren began to feel pain surging everywhere.
"ARGHHH! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Jack drew his Sword, preparing to execute Saren, but Saren knocked Jack back on to the Mako then firing his Geth plasma rifle at the front of the Mako disconnecting the Mako and the Hover Craft. Saren's craft sped off with the Mako following. Ahead of the Ground team a Yellow Ray Shield appeared, if the Mako crashed in to the barrier that would be it, Saren would get away, Jack jumped in front of the Mako slowing it down; Jack caused a barrier between the Mako and the Shield. The Mako came to a full stop, Jack placed his hand on the barrier hoping to bring it down.
[Command]Power Barrier down/…. Negative Remote Access.
"No!"
Jack slammed both of his fists repeatedly on the barrier causing electrical surges. The Crew exited the Vehicle. Defeat was in the mind of most of the ground team, while some had rage, what sort of cruel sick joke it was to come so far and be stopped by a barrier. All hope seemed to be lost until Conrad spotted a door covered in vines.
"Commander Look!"
Shepard snapped his head in the direction of the door. Jack approached the door opening it, revealing an elevator.
"Good work Conrad!"
I did a great Job, Commander Shepard must be so Proud of me!
The crew rushed in the elevator hoping to get to the bottom of this barrier. The elevator stopped in a room full of emptied stasis pods, Liara was taking quick look at the pods. Tali saw a weak hologram with an orange orb.
"Shepard Look at that over there."
The entire crew approached the hologram, Jack approached its console but before he could do anything.
"You are not Prothean. But you are not machine, either. This eventually was one of many that was anticipated. This is why we sent our warning through the beacons. I do not detect the presence of Indoctrination upon any of you. Unlike the other that passed recently. Perhaps there is still hope."
Jack remembered the message in the Prothean Beacon.
"Your Vigil the Prothean V.I."
Liara's expression changed to a very excited one, a working Prothean V.I.
"Yes that is my designation, I have been monitoring your communication since you arrived at this facility. You are safe here, for the moment. But that is likely to change. Soon, nowhere will be safe."
"So you brought that Barrier up, what do you want?"
The V.I. took a moment to process the information given to him.
"You must break a cycle that has continued for millions of years. But to stop it, you must understand or you will make the same mistakes we did. The Citadel is the heart of your civilization and the seat of government. As it was with us, and as it has been with every civilization that came before us."
"The Citadel isn't the seat of Government for the Systems Alliance." Stated Jack.
"Then your species Government will survive for a short time when the Reapers surprise attack the Citadel, which will cripple the Galaxy."
Jack was confused what did Vigil mean a surprise attack on the Citadel.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Jack
"The Citadel is a trap. The station itself is actually an enormous mass relay. One that links to dark space, the empty void beyond the galaxy's horizon. When the Citadel Relay is activated, the Reapers will pour through. And all you know will be destroyed."
The entire ground team was shocked, that the Citadel itself was a Mass Relay, they've been living on a giant Mass Relay.
"How come nobody realized that the Citadel was a Mass Relay?" Asked Jack
"The Reapers are careful to keep the greatest secrets of the Citadel hidden. That is why they created a species benign organic caretakers."
Damn the Keepers too!
Flash Back Ended…
"The Keepers?" Jack Stated
"Correct the Keepers maintain the station's most basic functions. They enable any species that discovers the Citadel to use it without fully understanding the technology. The Reliance on the keepers ensures no other species will ever discover the Citadel's true nature. Not until the relay is activated and the Reapers invade."
What Vigil said is true if the Reapers have been doing this for millions of years, they have to be secret about it.
"If this is true, how do the Reapers survive out in dark space?"
"As the Reapers poured through we had only theories on Illos. The researches on Illos believed the Reapers enter prolonged states of inactivity to conserve energy. This allows them to survive the thousands and thousands of years it takes of organic civilizations to rebuild itself. But in this state, they are vulnerable. By retreating beyond the edges of the galaxy, they ensure no one will accidentally discover them. They keep their existence hidden until the Citadel Relay is activated."
"So the Reapers would wipe out the governments that are occupying the Citadel right now."
"That was our fate. Our leaders were dead before we even realized we were under attack. The Reapers seized control of the Citadel and through it, the Mass Relays. Communication and transportation across our empire were crippled. Each star system was isolated, cut off from the others. Easy prey for the Reaper fleets. Over the next decades, the Reapers systematically obliterated our people. World by world, system by system, they methodically wiped us out. By the time the resistance that was left from our Empire, they soon realized there was no surrender, the Reapers had a single goal: the extinction of all advanced organic life. Through the Citadel the Reapers had access to all our records, maps, census data. Information is power, and they knew everything about us. The Reaper fleets advanced across every settled region of the galaxy. Some worlds were utterly destroyed. Others were conquered, their populations enslaved. These Indoctrinated servants became sleeper agents under Reaper Control. Taken in as refugees by other Protheans, they betrayed them to the Reapers. For an unknown reason what was left of the territories of the Prothean Empire split and fought each other, wasting precious resources that could've been used against the Reapers, we never knew why, we could only guess it was the Reapers indoctrination, we'll never know. Because of this division within a few centuries, the Reapers had killed or enslaved every Prothean in the Galaxy. They were relentless, brutal and absolutely thorough. After a successful conquest from the Reaper campaign our worlds were stripped bare, harvested by the indoctrinated slaves. Everything of value—all resources, all technology—was taken. Certain that all advanced organic life had been extinguished; the Reapers retreated back through the Citadel relay into dark space, sealing it behind them. With all evidence of the Reaper invasion had been wiped away. Only their indoctrinated slaves were left behind, abandoned. The Mindless husks no longer capable of independent thought, the indoctrinated soon starved or died of exposure. The genocide of the Protheans was complete."
The Reaper intent was clear, but why keep repeating the cycle. Why a cycle?
"What do the Reapers get out of this? Why do they keep repeating this pattern of genocide over and over?"
"The Reapers are unknowable. Perhaps they need slaves or resources. More likely, they are driven by motives and goals organic beings cannot hope to comprehend. In the end what does it matter? Your survival depends on stopping them, not in understanding them."
"Tell me what I need to do to stop them then." Jack ordered Vigil.
"The Conduit is the key. Before the Reapers attacked, we Protheans were on the cusp of unlocking the mysteries behind Mass Relay technology. Illos was a top secret facility. Here researchers worked to create a small-scale version of a Mass Relay. One that linked directly to the Citadel: The hub of the Relay network."
"The Conduit is a back door on to the Citadel!" Zoey Stated.
Liara looked at Vigil.
"How did you manage to stay hidden?"
"All official records of our project were destroyed in the initial attack on the Citadel. While the Prothean empire was smashed in to pieces, Illos was spared. We severed all communication with the outside and our facility went dark. The personnel retreated underground into these archives. To conserve resources, everyone was put into cryogenic stasis. I was programmed to monitor the facility and wake the staff when the danger had passed. The Genocide of an entire species is a long, slow process. Years passed. Decades, centuries. The Reapers persisted. And my energy reserves were dwindling."
"You could've survived on Illos in secret by growing your resources and boosting your population." Stated Wrex.
"The Idea was not unheard of, but most were worried our population would grow large enough to gain the attention of the Reapers, we couldn't risk it, it was hide or be invaded by a galactic invasion, our only hope was to remain undetected. With my energy reserves running at critical, under my programming I began to disable the life support of non-essential personnel. First support staff, then security. One by one, their pods were shut down to conserve energy. Eventually, only the stasis pods of the top scientists remained active. Even these were in danger of failing when the Reapers finally retreated back through the Citadel relay. I was held by the decision by my contingency programming entered on my creation I saved key personnel. When the Reapers retreated, the top researches were still alive. My actions are the only reason any hope remains… When the researches woke, they realized the Prothean species was doomed. There were only a dozen individual left, far too few to sustain a viable population. Yet they vowed to find some way to stop the Reapers from returning. A way to break the cycle forever. And they knew the keepers were the key. The keepers are controlled by the Citadel. Before each invasion, a signal is sent through the station compelling the keepers to activate the Citadel Relay. After decade of feverish study, the scientists discovered a way to alter this signal. Using the Conduit, they gained access to the Citadel and made the modifications. This time, the Reaper you refer to as Sovereign sent the signal to the Citadel, the keepers ignored it. The Reapers are trapped in dark space. The one you call Saren will use the Conduit to bypass the Citadel's defenses. Once inside, he will transfer control of the station to Sovereign. Sovereign will override the Citadel's systems and manually open the Relay. And the Cycle of Extinction will begin again. There's a data file in my console. Take a copy when you go. When you reach the Citadel's master control unit, upload it to the station. The Data will corrupt the Citadel's security protocols and give you temporary control over the station. It might give you a chance against Sovereign, the Master Control is at where you refer to as Citadel tower."
Nick wanted to know something about the Reapers.
"Wait, Wait, Wait, if the Reapers are trapped in dark space, how the Fuck did Sovereign get here?"
"It is logical to assume the Reapers would leave one of their own behind after each extinction, a sentinel to pave the way for their inevitable return."
"Are there more than one left behind?" Jack asked
"Unknown, but very likely, in case One Reaper is prematurely found and destroyed, there must be more in stasis around the Galaxy. One Reaper ship is not invincible. Revealing its true nature would have united the forces of every organic species against it. Even a Reaper couldn't survive such odds. The Reapers are patient. They will not rush into the unknown. Sovereign could have been planning this for centuries, moving deliberately, gathering allies. Slowly, it has assembled the pieces of the puzzle, working through agents to keep itself hidden. Saren is the most visible pawn of the Reapers, but I doubt he was the first. Now Sovereign has grown bold. Whether from confidence or desperation, I cannot say. But it is determined to reopen the portal to dark space."
Jack approached Vigil's console drawing concern from Liara.
"Shepard what are you doing?"
"I'm bringing Vigil with me, where were headed to, I'm just bringing extra insurance. My armor has a power system, enough to support Vigil, we'll need it to guide us through incase the fail safe fails."
"Acknowledged, My hard drive is located on the encrypted access files, I'll l give you access."
Jack yanked Vigil from its Console, uploading it to his armor.
"Interesting your Implants have Prothean tech."
Jack rolled his eyes while ordering the squad into the elevator. The elevator went back to the previous floor, this time the barrier was down. The Mako and its attachment, made it through the canals of Illos, following it down a large bank of water. There it was the Conduit, protected by a dozen Geth Colossal.
"This is going to be close, hang on everyone!"
"Warning, the Conduit is preparing to power down, you must hurry."
Vigil was right the Conduit would have to restart to be used again, and God knows how long that could take.
Mean While…
A Geth fleet led by Sovereign zoomed in at the Relay by the Citadel. Hundreds of Geth Cruisers led the charge by firing missiles and Guardian lasers at the Citadel Fleet. The Turian ships stood know chance to the incoming Geth fire as four of their dreadnaughts were torn to pieces by Geth Fire.
Captain Melora of the Destiny Ascension was watching the slaughter unfold.
"Activate the defenses, seal the station."
The Yeoman was operating controls trying to contact Citadel control, but to no avail as no one was responding.
"Mam Citadel control is not responding."
Goddess above, the Council has to be evacuated we can't stay here.
"Damn it! Evacuate the Council!"
The shuttle holding the Council left the Citadel and headed towards the Destiny Ascension. Although Retreat was probably out of the question as the Geth were blocking the Relay that led out of the Sector. Captain Melora activated the comm to contact the Garrison that was stationed at the Citadel.
"To all Hierarchy ships, the Geth have blocked the exit, they're swarming us, clear us a path!"
The comm returned with a Turian Admiral's voice.
"This is Admiral Sokot, of the Justice, we'll hold them off."
Admiral Sokot was ordering all remaining Citadel Ships to concentrate fire on the approaching 'Geth Dreadnaught which was heading towards the Citadel'
The Turian ensign looked at Admiral Sokot.
"Admiral they're sealing the station!"
Thank the Spirits, alright lets hold the line.
" Don't let them inside the Citadel, Forward batteries Fire!"
The three dreadnaughts channeled full power to their weapons and began to pummel Sovereign with their forward battery cannons. It was not enough as Sovereign rammed right through the Hierarchy Dreadnaught Justice. The Citadel fully closed, leaving Sovereign to hook on to the Citadel's tower.
In the Presidium the Conduit went active as a damaged Mako along with a shot up passenger attachment, flew right through the Relay smashing in to four Geth in the Presidium. Jack was the first to exit the Mako, followed by the rest of the Crew.
"Alright who's not dead?" asked Jack.
A bulk of the crew made a groaning noise as some of them were thrashed around in the vehicles during reentry. Before Jack could equip his weapon a dozen husks were all over him in seconds. Jack slaughtered the Human-Reaper Husks, while approaching the elevator.
"Come on every get in Saren is in the Council Chambers."
The elevator was a tight fit due to all the ground team was present.
"Agh move over Vakarian!" Yelled Wrex
Ashley was pushing Nick to give her some space, Shadow shifted his barrel of his rifle against Zoey's lower back.
"Ow would you move it away from my back."
Shadow got shoved again and the weapon went lower, causing Zoey's eyes to turn black and back to her original color.
"Ah-h Much better."
The Elevator stopped half way causing everyone to shake a bit from the sudden stop of speed.
"Commander Saren must've stopped the elevator through the master control." Stated Kaidan
This wasn't going to stop Jack, he approached the console.
[Command]Console Hack/Restart Elevator/Confirmed.
The elevator began to move up again.
"Weapons Ready, the Tower is likely to be swarming with Geth."
The elevator door opened with Jack securing the entrance. The Crew came rushing out guns a blazing taking out the Geth Platforms on the second level, above the stairs.
Geth bodies began to roll down the stairs as the ground team advanced through the hell fire. Jack was spotted by Saren who turned around with a Turian equivalent to a smile.
"I was afraid you wouldn't make it in-"
Saren's eyes widened as he saw Jack's ground team lining up behind him in firing position Jack just pointed his Colt and Saren.
"Take Him Down!"
The entire Ground team fired a barrage of different assorted weapons, into Saren. Saren coughed up a mouth full of blood and fell through the glass below them.
"Did you see how many projectiles went in to him!" Asked Conrad
Jack approached the Master control unit.
"Vigil is this it?"
"Correct, upload the data file."
Vigil's data file was coursing through the Citadel's master control, with that out of the way, his crew approached him.
"Great Vigil's data file worked." Stated Liara.
Before Jack could formulate his next plan of action, Joker contacted him through the comm.
"I repeat Normandy to the Citadel, Normandy to the Citadel… Shepard is that you?"
Jack smiled behind his helmet.
"Were you expecting someone else?"
"I got the whole Arcturus Fleet here Commander, just unlock the Relays around the Citadel and we can save the Destiny Ascension." Replied Joker
Zoey approached Shepard.
"Shepard are you sure, saving the Ascension will cost a lot of Human Lives."
Bethora looked at Zoey.
"This is bigger than Humanity, the Galaxy needs the Council's leadership."
Nick crossed his arms.
"I say let the Scum bag Council burn, the whole Galaxy is more important that these Assholes."
Jack gave out a sigh, even though he would've loved to see them get reamed by Sovereign and it's Geth Servants.
"Joker I'm unlocking the Relay, save the Council."
Out of the Relay came Hundreds of Alliance Ships.
Dreadnaughts, Carriers, Cruisers and frigates.
"All Alliance Ships, save the Ascension, I repeat save the Ascension." Ordered Admiral Hackett.
"That may have not of been wise to save them, you should've attacked Sovereign, he's opening the Relay as we speak."
Shepard switched comm Channels.
"Hades Fleet do you copy?"
"This is Admiral Niko Dresker of the Hades Fleet, your orders?"
"Lock on to my signal and bring the fleet we're going to need you immediately."
Admiral Hackett was observing the battle, his Carrier stayed behind to relay orders out to the fleet. The V.I. sent him an alert.
"What the Hell?"
Out of the Relay came Hundreds of Cerberus Ships, Advance Carriers, Dreadnaughts, Prototype Fighters, Frigates, and Broadside Cruisers.
Hackett looked at the Yeoman.
"What the Hell are they up to, are they moving in for an attack?"
"Yes sir, but they're not targeting us, they're targeting …. Sovereign…"
The Cerberus Fleet Zoomed past the Alliance Ship avoiding them and headed towards Sovereign.
At the Citadel Tower, Jack looked at Saren then back at his crew.
"Go make sure he's dead."
All but Jack and Tali started to navigate their way down to Saren's body, Jack looked at Tali.
"Don't you want to go put a bullet in him?"
"I believe I did, several times from my shotgun." Replied Tali.
"Jack wrapped his arm around Tali pulling her closer, Tali leaned her head on Shepard's shoulder."
"It's quite a view.." Stated Tali
"Best seats in the house." Replied Jack.
Bethora pulled out a Carnifex and discharged it in to Saren's skull.
"He's dead Commander." Said Bethora
Saren's Dead corpse began to shake as red electricity swarmed his body. Jack's eyes widened as he saw Saren was getting up.
"Get away from him!"
An explosive wave knocked the ground team off their feet and broke the platform sending Jack and Tali rolling down the platform.
Outside Citadel Tower Hades fleet was swarming all over Sovereign firing their weapons on to the monstrosity. A couple of fighters were launched from the Carrier.
"Gold wing form up!" Ordered Gold Leader
"Gold two standing by."
"Gold three standing by."
"Gold four ready to bring the rain!"
"Gold Five, let's send this thing back to Hell."
"Gold Six, Ordnance loaded."
"Gold Seven, Why are we still talking?"
The fighters did an attack run on Sovereign firing their Ordnance testing the shield.
"Gold one, Fox three!"
The missile hit the Reaper leaving a scorch mark.
"Gold One to, Hades were going to need a bigger gun."
Hades fleet was pummeling Sovereign with heavy ordnance, Sovereign reacted by shooting a read beam at a cruiser causing it to explode.
At the Presidium the Ground team was taking cover firing rounds in to the Possessed Corpse.
"I am Sovereign and this Station is MINE!"
Jack sprung out of cover tackling Sovereign/Saren to the ground , Sovereign/Saren began to walk on all four on the walls and ceiling while Jack was still attached to it.
"You cannot break the Cycle!"
Jack glared at the Husk, grabbing its head.
"I had enough of your Shit!"
Jack took Saren's head ripping it off from its body, Jack fell on to the ground as did Saren's corpse. Outside the Cerberus Dreadnaught, the Executioner fired a Rail cannon at Sovereign taking out it's shields.
"It's Shields are Down!" Stated Gold Leader.
"Hit it with everything we got! All Missiles Fire!"
A barrage of both Missile and Cannon fire pummeled Sovereign ripping it to pieces and causing to explode. A piece of Sovereign made its way to the Citadel Tower. Jack saw the incoming piece of Reaper and ordered the ground team to get to safe distance.
"Go!" Jack ordered the Ground team
Five Minutes later…
A Rescue Team arrived at the tower with Captain Anderson. One of the rescue members spotted Tali separated from the Crew members close to the wreckage.
"Captain Anderson! We've found them."
Anderson helped Tali Up from the wreckage.
"Take it easy, where is the Commander, Where's Shepard?"
Tali turned her head to the large wreckage, thinking he's been crushed to death by Sovereign they start to move towards the elevator. Before the left a large piece of the Wreckage began to move, and from it came Jack walking like nothing happened. Tali limped towards Jack embracing him.
Twenty Minutes later the Council appeared in the lower levels of the Council Chamber.
"Ambassador, Captain, Commander-"
The three Councilors eyes widened as they saw the Cerberus emblem on Shepard.
"Your Cerberus, this is treason I shall see you execu-" Sparatus was stop when Shepard Punched him in the gut.
"Shut Up!" Ordered Shepard
Udina looked at the Council with a hateful look.
"Cerberus Just saved the Citadel from Sovereign, and we just received solid evidence that they weren't apart of the attacks on the colony using dark matter. Oh and I'm here to Relay a message from the Alliance Parliament. "
Udina Punched Sparatus in the face, breaking his nose.
"Consider that Our Resignation of Citadel Space."
