Chapter 32: Archangel
Two Hours after May's Revival….
Salora Station/Comm Room
May was awaiting in the Comm Room to connect to The Illusive Man, while she equipped her head ware.
"May, I see your up and well, no doubt you want to know where Shepard and Leng are?"
May finished her seal on her helmet, before answering The Illusive Man.
"Affirmative sir, I request information on the location of 001 and 002."
The Illusive Man took a pause inhaling his cigarette, before putting the bud out.
"Their current location is on Omega, there is a shuttle waiting for you in the hanger bay."
May moved to the hanger quickly taking the Kodiak Shuttle.

Omega/Lower station
A Cerberus Kodiak was hovering the entire district where Archangel was, below them was several regiments of Mercenaries alike, ranging from the Blue Suns, Eclipse, Blood Pack, and free lancers all alike.
In the Shuttle the crew consisted of:
Jack
Leng
Tali
Zoey
Zaeed
Kasumi
Miranda
Jacob
Nick
And the newest edition Doctor Mordin Solus.
Jack activated his Arm tool on his armor, displaying holographic image, overlooking the area.
"Alright simple mission here, get in get out, below us lie what Archangel stirred up…. EDI show us the direct routes we can take. "
EDI's holo interface appeared by the map emitting from Jack's armor.
"After scanning the area I can find no 'back door' to get to Archangel, however the shuttle can reach Archangel, but the Mercenaries might take notice to it and shoot us down with Anti-air battery emplacements."
Zaeed crossed his arms, while giving off a huff.
"So we'll be traveling with the mercs… that's reassuring."
Zoey continued off of what Zaeed was thinking.
"Shepard, I don't know if the Mercs we'll even let us near them… and seriously Anti-air batteries?"
Edi chimed in hearing Zoey.
"Records show that Aria T'loak emplaced the Anti-Air batteries to keep both Mercenaries and Pirates alike in check, now that the Coalition of mercenaries have 'acquired' AA battery, the Shuttle has a 70.89% probability of being shot down, ground engagement is the only way."
They were out of options and running out of time.
"Leng, buy us time, make life hell for the mercs down there."
Leng gave off a strong smile while drawing his blade.
"Understood."
The Kodiak's door opend leaving Leng to leap out of shuttle and powerslam the ground below him taking out a squad of mercs. As the Shuttle was making its way for Archangels location Leng, sped to the Anti-Air Battery while avoiding gunfire to direct the AA's fire. Wire came out of Leng's arm tool long enough to reach the battery, he the cable around the barrel of the battery and pulled it sideways disabling the locking mechanism.
Shepard now's your chance land the shuttle and retrieve Archangel! – 002
The Shuttle zoomed overhead providing a quick fire support to take out the enemies surrounding Leng. The Kodiak quickly landed at the end of the bridge, the doors of the Shuttle quickly unlatch leaving the crew to scurry out of the shuttle and into the bunker with archangel shooting the oncoming mercs on the bridge.
Leng noticed a mech division and a Vorcha legion approaching fast on his six, Leng gave one strong pull bringing the cannon down to his level. Withdrawing the cable from the battery Leng grabbed a hold of the cannon pulling it from its restraints and throwing it at the oncoming mercenaries causing a barricade.
"That should hold them."
Jack rushed up the stairs to reach Archangel, Jack charged down the door to gain access to the room. Inside the room was A Turian in familiar blue armor, holding a viper rifle. Jack approached cautiously followed by the crew downstairs.
"Archangel?"
The Turian turned his head towards Jack, he got up from his sniping position and sat himself down on a crate. Archangel took off his helmet revealing that it was an old colleague from the hunt for Saren, it was none other than Garrus."
"Shepard? …. I thought you were dead…"
"Garrus! What are you doing here?"
Garrus was extremely exhausted from the sleepless nights, because of these mercs.
"You'll excuse the enthusiasm, I'm just tired from these Mercs, I thought this was it for me…. But you're here now so I'm assuming you have a plan?"
Jack gave off a quick laugh hearing that.
"Yeah get the Hell out of dodge, I see no reason to fight these guys here. Now come on we got to –"
INCOMING PROJECTILE
A Gunship fired a rocket towards Jack but Jack deflecting by backhanding it out the window. Jack turned towards the Gunship, walking towards the window, the Gunship fired a barrage from its main gun unleashing thousands of rounds into Jack. Jack aimed his wrist at the gunship and fired a wire on it. Jack gave the wire a good pull and brought it crashing into the window. Jack approached the downed gunship breaking its glass and prying it off from the gunship, the Batarian pilot fired off multiple rounds in to Jack, with no effect. Jack tossed an incendiary grenade in the cockpit, while putting his foot to the gunship pushing it out of the building. The gunship was spinning out of control as it combusted and crashed in to the stockpile of fuel.
A thundering explosion could be heard throughout the station, it even caused Aria to jump from her seat. Leng came up the stairs to regroup with crew.
"Shepard, nice show with the Gunship…. Who's the Turian?"
Garrus turned towards Leng giving him confused expression, while Jack was introducing them.
"Right Leng this is, Garrus he helped me hunt down Saren two years ago… he's a friend... Garrus this is Leng we're from the same project, he has a dislike for Turians, no offense intended."
Garrus held out a hand hoping for Leng to return a hand shake.
"It's alright I give Turian's a bad name apparently."
Leng kept his arms crossed against his chest.
"We'll see – "
Leng was cut off when the entire crew heard a war cry from the charging army of different mercenaries climbing over the barrier Leng made.
Jack's eyes widened seeing the approaching horde.
"Get back to the shuttle NOW!"
Jack jumped from the second floor entering the shuttle only to exit it with a minigun. The Mini gun was firing off thunderous ground smacking bullets into the approaching forces.
The horde responded by returning fire, while Jack was still unloading the entire capacity of the weapon. As the last crewmember boarded the shuttle Jack fired a wrist rocket into the horde leaving a Cain explosion shaking the bridge. The Shuttle left the mercenaries angry and empty handed, now that their target was taken away.
The Shuttle returned to Cerberus district of Omega, leaving the crew to exit the Shuttle, and head towards the docking bay.
"Well that's something I don't wish to repeat, Garrus did you read the mission reports?"
Garrus handed the data pad back to Jack.
"Yeah, can't believe the Council refuses to acknowledge that the Collectors are working for the Reapers… doesn't surprise me however since they denied the existence of the Reapers."
Tali added in.
"Plus we believe that they're indoctrinated."
Jack noticed that Tali finally spoke after she went silent.
"Ah! There's sleeping beauty, finally cheered up yet?"
Tali looked at Jack, Jack could tell through her visor that she was still hurt.
"Zoey helped me a bit… you know to recover."
Zoey gave off a slight smile, hearing that from Tali.
"It was nothing, I been through a similar situation before."
Shepard removed his broken helmet from gun fire to show Zoey a smile.
"Thank you Zoey, I didn't know if Tali would recover from that experience."
Zoey blushed a bit from hearing that from Jack.
The crew continued to the Normandy, but before they could continue Jack and Leng heard a familiar voice.
"It's good to see you again Jack…."
May was leaning up against the window waiting for a response from Jack, however Jack was at a loss of words, so May took matters in to her own hand and approached Jack. She grabbed both sides of his face bringing it down for a Romantic kiss, this caused Zoey's mouth to hang slightly and Tali's left eye twitching. Tali immediately rushed in and pried off May's arm around him, however May took notice to that grabbing Tali and slamming her on to the glass, Jack snapped out of it, seeing Tali was in distress and would easily be killed by May. Jack took Tali away from May's grip and slid her to the crew while pushing May to the end of the corridor. Tali got up from the floor, while May quickly recovered. Tali approached Jack pointing finger at May.
"Shepard who the Hell is she?"
Jack was about to respond but May beat him to it.
"Who the Hell are you?"
Tali put her hands on bothsides of her hips.
"I'm his Girldfriend!"
May's eyes narrowed at Tali.
"That's funny, but that spot is reserved for me."
Jack had to intervene quickly, Tali was about to draw her shotgun, but May quickly fired a round from her revolver off shredding the shotgun.
"Enough!"
May's eyes peered at Jack's form, then back at Tali.
"We'll discuss this later, but for now, I'm here to help you with your mission Jack."
