Chapter 34: Pure Krogan
The Kodiak landed on the surface of Korlus, Jack, Tali, Leng, May, and Garrus along with two centurions and one Cerberus Engineer, came rushing out of the transport rushing for cover. The ground team noticed the Blue Sun Commander was giving canned orders over the speaker, Leng quickly took notice.
"Canned Orders over the speakers?"
Jack rolled his eyes vaulting over the cover moving onwards.
"Ignore it and keep focused on the mission." Jack ordered.
The rest of the crew followed shortly behind Jack. May was looked at Tali who was beside her.
"You sure you can keep up with us?"
Jack quickly turned a corner, dispatching the hostiles, leaving Tali to turn her head to May.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Tali discharged her shotgun at Blue Sun rifleman, killing him instantaneously. May vaulted over a Blue Sun commander breaking his neck as she slid over behind him.
"We don't have the leisure of time, you may have moved at your own pace with Saren, but colonies are vanishing, and every minute we waste is another minute a colonist is in the hands of the Collectors."
A huge crash shook Tali but not May when both Leng and Jack Tipped over a scaffolding of Ship parts on a couple of squads of Blue Sun mercenaries.
Jack accessed the interface through his Project Renegade Vision and enhanced with Nightmare armors visor.
"EDI, I need a way to find an alternate route to find Okeer." 001
One moment… Found an alternate route, though you will have to move the debrie out of the way, to gain access to the area.
"Upload on the Nav." 001
Already done Shepard.
Jack made his way to the wreckage, which his navigational map was pointing to. With one good punch the wreckage collapsed out of the way. Jack followed by the crew entered the tunnels navigating through the Wreckage of the ship. Leng looked at the interior of the ship, trying to make it out with his thoughts.
"Why does this Ship look so familiar?"
May pointed at the Insignia of the Ship, which said HWS Persecutor in Turian, seeing this Leng gave a hearty laugh.
"Oh that's right we killed another Turian Admiral here, and wrecked his ship….. Good times."
Garrus looked at Jack, with a worried expression.
"Uh Shepard, should I be worried about my safety when I'm around him?"
"Just… don't bring up anything that leads to the First Contact War, or Superiority, and avoid talking Galactic Politics, its Leng's way or back the way you came way. It was a compliment Leng… "
Leng just continued along the interior of the Wreckage while Garrus just stayed a little closer to Shepard's side. Jack looked on his right where Tali was, trying to strengthen her resolve, the issue with the Admiralty Board, still was bothering her.
"Tali you know you're going to have to reply to one of the messages on your account sooner or later."
Tali quickly glanced at Jack, her eyes narrowing down on him.
"Messages? …. Did you hack into my account, does privacy mean nothing to you?"
Jack moved a steal beam out of the crew's way.
"Well I know that what happened is still bothering you, I'm here to help you Tali."
Jack heard Tali take a noticeable inhale then exhale.
"Shepard, I'll deal with it, when I'm ready… until then I don't want to talk about it, is that okay with you?"

The crew could see an exit nearing, a metal vent was in Jack's way so he put his foot to it and knocked it down. Okeer immediately turned to see what the fuss was about, Jack jumped down from the vent facing Okeer.
"Warlord Okeer I presume?" Jack asked
Okeer turned his log off on the screen.
"Yes, and you must be Commander Shepard, Cerberus sent me the information on the Mission, if you want my full cooperation you must quickly get me and my Tank Bred soldier out of here."
Jack neared the tank seeing the sleeping Krogan, seeing the tank gave Jack a flashback.

Incoming Project Renegade developers on approach.

Draining tank sequence has been activated

Jack shook his head from the memory of his birth, he looked back at the tank with the Krogan in it.
"What's with this thing for?"
Okeer stood by the Krogan's tank checking its systems.
"This Grunt is my Legacy, it will help you with your fight against the collectors… what did you think I was going to help your in combat, don't be absurd, Cerberus promised me a private lab to continue my research… This is nothing but a simple business"
Gas began to fill up the chamber, as the others were jumping down from the vent.
"Damn you Jedora…. Commander I need your help, take out Jedora while I keep my work alive."
Shepard stepped by the window observing the approaching blue suns down below. Jack equipped his Black Widow and started to pick off all superior Suns and finally Jedora who was disintegrated when Jack shot off the Ymir mech's head causing it to explode.
"What you didn't think I'd go down there wasting time? " Stated Jack as Okeer just looked at the destruction he caused to his rejects down there.
Jack contacted the Normandy for an extraction, but not before giving the Krogan in the tank one more look.
