Hey there everyone! I actually started writing this as soon as I posted the last chapter. I decided to make sure that I stayed on a rool as long as possible. Anyway, here's the next chapter.

Cole, Zeke, and the Kratts finally made it to Archer Square. Unfortunately for them the crate filled with food supplies wasn't at ground level. They looked up at the statue that overlooked the square and there was the crate, just hanging there several stories above the ground.

Martin: ... ... Aw crud.

Zeke: Oh, crap. (Looks to Chris) Hey man, I think you're gonna have to take this one.

Chris: Me?

Martin: Yeah, you're the best climber out of all of us. Besides, I can't climb that high without breaking my damn neck.

Chris: Okay... I be right back with the food, just keep an eye out for... well y'know.

Martin: Alright, be fareful.

It took a while to get up there. But Chris was a naturally born climber, so it was relatively easy for him. In a matter of seconds he was already standing in front of the crate. The metal hook that attached it to the parachute was pretty rusty, and could easily be hit. Chris smirked. Then he performed a roundhouse hick to the rusty hook and wham! The whole thing fell apart. The crate instantly fell to the ground and burst open the moment it his concrete. There were now a bunch of metal crates just lying around the ground waiting to be picked up.

Unfortunately... that was when trouble popped up... the Reapers. They began to rush to the Square from all sides.

Chris: Aw crud, we're too late!

Before the Blast, several now-members of the Reapers were merely drug junkies selling, well, drugs ... and crack, and such on the streets. Now they own and terrorize the Neon district, assaulting people and taking whatever they want.

Chris: Hey! (Soem of the Reapers look up and see him) BACK. OFF!

Chris then jumps from his position on the statue. And lands on the ground slamming his fist against the concrete as he does so. Immediately, a sort of odd, green colored energy pops out from his fists, forming a shockwave that knocks back and knocks down several of the Reapers. He then proceeded to take on a few more of the unarmed ones hand to hand.

Martin and Zeke were doing more ranged combat against some of the Reapers who were armed with AKs (Heaven and Hell KNOWS where those guns game from.) Martin was blasting some of the Reapers with hydro blasts using his water powers. The water felt solid to the Reapers as it collided with them, knocking them out with just a few well placed shots. Zeke was using his new gun to show them what for. His gun skills were average at best. But what the hey, right? He was helping out Martin with his share of Reapers.

Speaking of which, Cole was bringing absolute hurt to the ones armed with shotguns frying each one with lightning when they got too close. He even introduced some of them to a large shockwave blast for good measure. He was also keeping the Reapers away from the civilian bystanders who all headed for the closest peice of cover they could find.

Eventually the four were able to get rid of all of the Reapers. The small number that remained began to fall back, and retreated. Leaving the bystanders safe to get at the food.

Martin: Yeah that's right! And DON'T COME BACK! (He heads over to where Chris and Cole were at.) Hey, you guys alright?

Chris: Yeah.

Cole: No complaints here.

Zeke: (Over to the metal crates that they came for) Well, it's chow time.

Chris: I hear ya, come on guys. (Cole however, did not move. Chris took notice of this.) Cole.

Cole looked like he was in deep thought... then he spoke.

Cole: (Whispering to just Chris) Hey... what if we took it all?

Chris: (Whispering as well) (Shocked) What!?

Cole: I mean think about it; There's a lot of food here. Enough to feed the four of us, Trish, and the rest of your team for weeks, maybe even longer.

Chris: Are you serious? Are you actually gonna do that to these guys (The civilians)? They need the food too!

Cole: Well... you have a point there. Some of these people might starve... but then the food would be all ours... (Cole then raises his hand, ready to sap the civilians at any given moment.)

Chris: ... Please ... don't ...

Cole just stood there for a moment, weighing in the pros and cons of his situation. It took him a few seconds, but in the end...

Cole: (No longer whispering) ... not worth it.

Chris: (No longer whispering) What?

Cole: You heard me. (Chris then smirked) Oh knock it off.

Martin: Hey! I got one open! Let's eat!

Everyone there then immediately began to take equal shares of the supplies, it wasn't much and not all of it looked like it would taste good, but it was all they had to share.

Zeke: Bleagh (you know, that groosed out noise people make). This box is filled with canned prunes. Now who the hell would eat this crap.

Chris: (sarcastic tone) Oh, gee, maybe people with certain digestion problems?

?: That would be one reason.

The four looked to the source of the voice; Trish finally arrived at the scene. She looked relieved at the act of kindness she was witnessing.

Trish: I'm so glad you guys got the food down, these poor people are starving!

Cole: We just did what we could. Someone had to help them.

Chris: Hey Trish, where are Aviva and Koki? (Aviva and Koki, were two other members of the Wild Kratts team, when the Quarantine started they decided to help out in anyway they can. They are currently helping Trish with a clinic she runs right there in the Neon.)

Trish: They're busy at the clinic right now. They asked me to check up on you guys and see how your doing.

Zeke: (looig off into the distance) Hey. Check it out. (Points to one of the nearby street thearter screens, you know, the ones connected to the news networks.)

Cole: Hm? (Cole looks at what Zeke was staring at, the screen was showing the VOS Logo, meaning the Voice Of Survival was about to speak again... Only instead of him the next thing they saw was... ... Cole.) What the- ?

Zeke: Hey guys, you're up on the big screen!

It was true there was a picture of Cole holding... ... something in his hands. The Kratts were running towards him. They didn't know where that image came from, or even what was happening in the footage, they hoped VOS had an answer. Unfortunately... what they heard next was... ... well...

VOS: Take a look at this Empire City. The pic youre seeing was taken by a security camera near Ground Zero. This is the man who destroyed our city, our lives! Someone from your family died? Well now you know who to blame. If you know anything about this guy let me know, 'cause we wanna get the word out on this terrorist. Whoever he is, we're gonna make him pay!

That was absolute hell for these guys. Cole, a terrorist? How'd that happen, Cole, Chris, and Martin tried to remember that day, but ultimately failed; too many holes in their memories. Cole's was the worst. The only thing he could remember from that time was going to work, and in the next memory, he was running for his life. Unfortunately that video raised a LOT of questions. How did Cole get that package? Why would he deliver a bomb? And for whom?

Unfortunately the consiquences were everywhere around them... starting with what happened to Amy.

Trish face immedately lost all emotion and she just walked away...

Martin: Trish? Trish!

But unfortunately for the older Kratt, Trish acted like she couldn't hear him. She just kept walking.

Chris began trying to reassure Cole about the whole thing, but MacGrath knew for a fact that whatever he and Trish had together, was now long gone.

It took a few moments fot it to all sink in.

Martin: Cole... I'm so sorry, I-

Cole: It's okay Martin there's no need to apologize... I- (Unfortunately it was at that moment he spotted a civilian nearby giving him a weird look. He was about to ingore it but-)

Civilian: Hey, it those punks responsible for the bomb! (He pointed accusingly toward Cole and the Kratts. Apparently he assumed since they were in the video, they had a hand in the Blast) Get 'em! (He then picked up a nearby rock and threw it straight at Cole's head. It missed, but hit Cole's shoulder instead.)

Cole: (He and the Kratts began to run away, while Zeke merely whistled, walking away in the opposite direction.) Hey, we gave you the food man, leave us alone!

It took several blocks worth of running, but they were able to loose tha small angry mob that was hunting them down. Anyway Zeke finally managed to call in.

Zeke: Hey man.

Cole: Zeke.

Zeke: We should... find a way to leave.

Martin: What?

Zeke: Yeah, leave! If there's a way to leave the Quarantine, then we should take it. Y'know to go get help!

Martin: Oh come on! That's -

Chris: Kinda smart.

Martin: Exactly- wait, what!?

Chris: Think about it Martin, probably most of the people in the outside world don't have any idea what's going on in here. We need to find a way out of here so we can tell the public the truth.

Martin: (Martin starts to see the truth to what Chris and Zeke were saying) ... Okay... I guess you guys have a point. Besides, everything we own is on the other side of the city limits. (This is true; the Tortuga HQ, the true home of the Wild Kratts Team, was currently outside of the city limits on the other side of the Stampton Bridge, the only way in or out of Empire.)

Zeke: Then it's settled! We'll meet up near the Stampton Bridge to figure out how we'll skip town! (Call End)

A Few minutes later they were near the Bridge. Zeke had just arrived.

Zeke: (Looking to the bridge) Stampton Bridge, the fastest way out of town. That is if you can get past that line of baton-wielding goons.

Cole: (To all three of them) We're getting out of here, one way or another. Everyone follow my lead.

After a few seconds woth of planning, they immediately began to walk toward the bridge. There they heard one of the guards speaking through a megaphone to all of the protesters gathered there.

Guard: You have entered a restricted area. Lethal force may be used at any time. Please return to your homes. You will be notified when the Quarantine has been lifted.

Cole: (To himself) Three. Two. One.

Chris: Yeah right! Like we have homes to go back to anyway! You want us to ROT in this dump! (This stirred something in the protesters)

Martin: Yeah, there's no food, no medicine, NOTHING! (A few more of the protesters began to yell out in agreement with Martin; Cole's plan was working. Martin then looked to the officers.) We are leaving this ruin, and YOU CAN'T STOP US! (Now everyone was completely riled up. Just one more line and they would go off like bombs.)

Zeke: Yeah! (To the protesters there) If they ain't lettin' us out! Then will just make out OWN way out! LET'S GET EM'!

At that moment the protesters began to attack the officers in a mad frenzy. Their plan had worked, the guys started a frenzy. Then, in a few mere seconds, all of the guards were knocked out.

Cole: (To the crowd of riotiers) YEAH! Who's ready to get out of this hellhole!? (Everyone began to cheer). Then COME ON! (Cole then used his powers to zap the gate controls. Slowly but surely, all of the gates began to open, one by one. BUT every one, of the riotiers began to run through the gates, trying to run as fast as humanly possible to the other side of the bridge. To freedom.)

A buch of guards appeard but everyone was too determined to care how many there were. It didn't matter anyway, seeing that they were being lead by A; the only person amongst them with an actual gun, B; a person who could move water around with his mind, C; a guy with the ability to control plants and plantlike energy, and D; a man who could shoot out lightning from his hands like crazy.

Zeke: Eat some hot lead! (And the rest was history as the guys along with the riotiers fought their way through checkpoint after checkpoint to the other side of the bridge, they hid a snag though as they came across one final barrier.)

An intercom was heard throughout the entire area even as they were fighting their way throught several armed riot guards.

Intercom Guard: This area is under strict quarantine. Indiscriminate lethal force will be used against all unauthorized personel. This is you final warning. (Unfortunately, everyone there ignored this as they kept fighting their way to the other side of the bridge.)

Martin: This is it! One more barrier and we're home free! (Everyone cheered at this.)

Cole then charged the switch to the last barrier. And oppened the door, for everyone to run through. Only... a few seconds later he wished he hadn't...

The gate opened to a wll of razor wire and machine guns that fired at everything that moved. No one stood a chance...

Zeke made a break for it. Smached directly through tha wall to the decontamination unit, and fell headlong into the harbor... the things we are able to do when the fear of death scares us hard enough. The Kratts and MacGrath ended up running in the same diraction, and ended up moving much faster then they even knew thet could... They ended up in some sort of room. They didn't even now where they were, but somehow they felt safe... until.

?: Cole MacGrath... and Chris and Martin Kratt. Welcome.

The three looked around for the source of the voice, then a light turned on.

They were in a room that was spit in two. By a large window. There was a woman standing on the other side of the glass. She has fair skin and pale brown hair, as well as brown eyes that looked like they were used often to give off intimidating looks. The then spoke plainly and calmly.

Moya: My name is Moya Jones. I am an secret agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I have been watching the three of you since the day of the Blast (She then showed them a photo of, well, them during the blast.) I need you help.

Chris: Still in shock... ... O-kay...

Moya: (Moya showed them a photo of a dark skinned man with black hair and bright brown eyes.) This is my husband, John. He was sent to Empire City to track down a device called, "the Ray Shpere."

Martin: Ray Sphere?

Moya: It's a device that drains away the neuro-electric energy from a group of people, and concentrate it onto an individual.

Chris: And your husband tried to find it?

Moya: Yes but... after the Blast I lost all contact with him (she finally begins to show some emotion to her stony face). And even with all of the FBI connections at my desposal... we're just... losing hope... And that's when I thought of the three of you. (She then showed them pictures of several times that the three of them had used their powers. Each in great detail.)

Cole: You thought of US?

Moya: I know what you're thinking. But listen. I need help the only lead I have to John so far is his parner, who is refusing to answer my calls. I also know that you were framed for the event that caused the Quarantine in the first place... I'm ready to offer you a deal.

Cole: We're listening.

Moya: If you can find John, his partner, and the Ray Shpere, and bring them back, safe and sound, I will personally escort you out of the Quarantine, clearing you name in the proccess. Do we have an agreement?

There were a few moments of silence, then...

Cole: Done.

Moya: There is a door hatch on the floor behind you. Use it to retreat back into the city.

The three looked behind them. Sure enough there was a door behind them. They each went down to it and jumped down...

That's life for ya aint it? Just when you finally get out the universe somehow manages todrag you right back in.

And that's a wrap with this chapter. What do you think? Pretty good huh? Anyway I'll just be working on the next one. See ya around? Review when you have the chance!
