Hi there! Sorry for the long delay! ... Anyway, here's the net chapter in my little crossover fic. Please reamd and enjoy!

Moya: (Calling the three) So I managed to figure out why the Reapers were destroying the water pipes under Stapton Bridge. By isolating the Empire City's water system, they can pump their plague into every home in the city. Anyone drinking that sludge will get sick... or worse.

Martin: That's terrible!

Moya: Well it get's worse than that I'm afraid. I've just recieved some reports that Smith Fountain has already been polluted, and there are a LOT of casualties. I want you three to head over there and confirm my intel. Then, we'll figure out what to do. (End Call)

As soon as Moya hung up though, the three already recieved another call. This time from Zeke.

Zeke: Guys. You ain't gonna believe this one! You know those areas of the city you've been clearing out? They're crime free now! People are hanging up posters with your faces on 'em!

Cole: (Chris looked like he was about to say something, but Cole interrupts) We're doing what we can Zeke. No one needs to throw a parade.

Martin: Well... (Cole gives him a look, which got him to stop talking.)

Zeke: I know man, I know. Still, that's pretty damn cool. (End Call).

Eventually the guys managed to get to Smith Fountain. It was just as bad as Moya described it. Cole called it in.

Cole: (To Moya, via Call) It's not looking good Moya; sick people all over the place. Not only that, but the water in the fountain is black.

Moya: Alright, get over there. We need to find a way to stop this. (End Call)

They went closer to the area and were eventually standing in front of the fountain. Needless to say, the black sludge was disgusting to look at up close... It actually seemed to be like some sort of cross between tar and blood.

?: Guys!?

The three looked at the other side of the artwork that is the Smith Fountain and found their friend, Aviva standing next to a bunch of sick people. She smiled at the three.

Chris: Aviva!

Aviva: Oh you're alright! For a second I was worried. With all the Reaper Gang members running around- !

Cole: Relax. We're alright. (Suddenly realizing something) Wait... If you're here on duty, then that means-

?: What are you doing here!? (The three turned, and right there was Trish, standing over a patient. She didn't look like herself. The warm glow in her eyes was, well, dimmed out. And she looked at Cole with a spiteful expression on her face, as if she wanted to to anything else in the world, but talk to him.)

Cole: A friend of ours wanted us to check out the fountain, see what's going on.

Trish: A friend? ... I don't have time for-

Cole: Look Trish... I know what that guy (V.O.S.) said about me-

Trish: My sister is dead because of you! (the three bystanders, Chris, Martin, and Aviva, simply stood there looking between the two and the "conversation" they were having.)

Cole: I swear to god, I didn't KNOW what was in that package!

Trish: You know what? I don't even want to hear it right now. (To all three guys) If you're really here to help, then you can start with that valve over there. (The three looked at the valve she was pointing at. It was a steel valve, connected to a red were a few drops of that black substance here and there along the red pipeline.)

Chris: That pipes causing the pollution?

Trish: Apparently. It seems to be directing the pollution into the fountain, but it's jammed so I can't close it.

Cole: ... Alright. (He walks to the pipe and tries to close it. He does successfully. But, the moment he does, a large ammount of the substance spits out of the pipe and hits him in the face.)

Martin: Cole!

Trish: (makes a sound of annoyance) It's all over your eyes! Guys (To Chris and Martin) stay here and help Aviva. Cole, that stuff wears off if you avoid it long enough, but I have a solvent in my car that should accelerate that effect, just follow me.

Cole was following Trish down the streetside, his vision a large swirl of red, gray, and black. He started to see things. Reaper soldiers twice the size of normal people. Weird looking monsters that were red and gray. During the entire time, he heard a voice ringing in his head... A sinister, echo-like voice of a female.

?: I've been waiting for you Cole... waiting for this moment... anticipating it.

Cole: (Weak) Nrgh... Who's... doing this... ?

?: She hates you... Loathes you... your very power frightens her... she'll never love you like I do. ... I can make you forget about her... Everything you've shared... gone, like a whisper. No more pain... No more heartache...

Cole: (With what little strength he had) You're... not... real... (By the time they reached the ambulence... Cole lost conciousness completely...)

Eventually he woke up. His face felt cold. Evidently he was sprayed with the solvent, which he was grateful to Trish for.

Cole: Thanks.

Trish: ... ... That's the only time I'll be helping you Cole. If you get that stuff on you again, you're just gonna have to wait for it to wear off. (She then walked away)

Later after the relief effort concluded, Cole and the Kratts were near the fountain once more, contacting Moya.

Moya: So the feeder pipe to the Fountain was baing used to pump the pollution?

Chris: It looks like it.

Moya: Then you'll have to think fast. My intel states that there are two more water pipes in the nearby areas.

Cole: Okay... We'll turn those off and see what happens. (End Call)

The three were at the nearby park. Cole was ready to fix another feeder pipe.

Cole: (To the Kratts)... Cover me alright? (The two nodded. Cole then closed the second pipe... this caused another... "episode" to concur. But this time, Cole was ready for the hallucinations and the eerie voice.)

?: I feel your broken heart, Cole. So much emotion... bottled up with nowhere to go... Why do you love her? She's beneath you... You deserve better...

Cole: (With more strength than last time) Just shut... the hell up.

?: You're all alone you know. No one cares about you... not you so-called "metaphoric siblings" (The Kratt Brothers), not the man on the roof (Zeke), not the woman under the bridge (Moya)... Only I've loved you Cole... Always and forever...

Cole: (Now completely lucid) For God's sake, get out!

Martin: ... Cole?

Cole: Huh? (Cole looked around him... there was a small group of unconcious Reapers around him... evidentally Chris and Martin each fought against them during Cole's mind trip.) Whoa...

Chris: Yeah. Are you okay?

Cole: ... Yeah. I'm fine. (The three then proceeded to the last pipe.)

Martin: Wait!

Cole: Hm?

Martin: I'll do it?

Cole: What? (Concerned) Martin that stuff will-

Martin: I'll use my water sheild to block it, don't worry! I'll be fine. (Martin then proceeds to create a barrier out of water, formed right from his hand, placing it in front of him. He then turns the valve, fixing it back to the way it was. Then, a jet of the substance spews out. fortunately, it is directly absorbed by Martin's water shield. As soon as the pipe stopped spraying, the older Kratt simply stopped focusing on the now, polluted Water Shield, letting it fall promptly to the ground.) There see? (Smiling)

Cole: Okay.. Thanks.

Chris: We should tell Moya.

The three were now at a bench, talking to the she-devil in question.

Moya: Now that the valves are off, you need to figure out how those maniacs are getting that Tar into the system. The only primary water line around there runs under memorial park. Head into the tunnel, and look for it. (End Call)

The three headed straight for their next destination... only when they got there they were each sprayed with tar from above, which shocked them all.

Chris: (In pain) What the- !?

Then the same eerie voice is heard.

?: You three don't know love... not TRUE love... but I will teach you. And then that bastard will see what he has lost!

The three headed further down into the tunnel, taking that voice in as an omen of danger. then they saw it...

The illusions. Illusions of giant, monstrous versions of the Reapers, illusions that, somehow, were able to hurt them... They fought back as hard as they could powers and all, but they were practicallyliving at a nightmare world at that point... the tunnel they were in... slowly began to resemble a twisted roadway, paved with checkered patterns everywhere... raining inside as if it were the middle of a storm... burning plants, no, plants emmiting fire as far as the eye can see, the entire place seen under a blood-red tint...

The three Conduits knew these things weren't real... but they couldn't help themselves. By the time the illusion passed, the first thing they saw... was a truck... but not just a truck...

Martin: (Calling Moya) Moya I don't know how we found it, but there's a truck attached to a pipe down here.

Moya: That's probably the source of the Plague. Destroy it.

Martin: Will do.

Cole: (Cole knew this was his kind of job. He simply focused his power deeply... then shot out a large bolt of lightning, destroying the truck instantly.) (To Moya) What the hell IS that stuff?

Moya: Some kind of mind-control agent. It seems to be organic, but I have no idea now they're producing it.

Chris: Yeah well... it sure did a number on us... We'll head back to our little place now... I need to rest.

Martin: Me too, my head is killing me.

Moya: Understood. (End Call)

Zeke: You can't turn that Ray Sphere over to the Feds guys.

The three were back on the Roof with Zeke.

Cole: Like we have a choice?

Zeke: Man alive, you any of you know what they'll do with something like that? Especially is the Pentagon of all wrapped up in this!? It's the ultimate weapon!

Cole: And what do you suggest Jedediah, we hide it underneath your couch?

Zeke: (defensive) Only my mother calls me Jedediah, but that's not important right now. Listen, I say we crack that baby open and give everyone powers. It's the only way to make sure we dont get screwed.

Chris: ... I think we're already screwed.

AND... END CHAPTER! Yeah! Whoo! What do you guys think, huh? Anyway, review! ... Please.
