Arcas stumbled along behind Lara as they walked through the ship. Their parents had told them to wait until they came back but Arcas was hungry. They made their way into the cafe and Lara began climbing up onto the counter. Arcas stood sucking on his thumb as he watched his older sister search for something they could eat. Lara frowned as she moved to the next cabinet. Lara smiled down at Arcas.

"Look Arcy!" Lara showed Arcas one of their favorite snacks.

"Yay!" Arcas clapped his hands and bounced up in down. "Yummy!"

The ship suddenly jolted causing things to fall from the cabinet. "Arcy!" Lara cried in a panic.

Kanan and Ezra raced into the ship, closely followed by others. The ties overhead meant trouble, but they were the least of the crews current worries. They had gone on a supply run and returned to the ship only to see a Tie fire at the unguarded ship. Lara and Arcas were still inside.

"Lara! Arcas!" Ezra called out as he came to the top of the ladder. He ran through the hall calling again but froze when he entered the cafe. Sabine came up from behind him and gasped.

Lara stood on the counter with trembling hands held in front of her. Arcas stood looking up wided eyed and terrified. Floating above the three year old boys head was most of the food that had been in the cabinet.

Lara looked over at her father with teary eyes. "Daddy . . . I'm scared."

"It's okay Lara." Ezra smiled as Sabine picked up Arcas and Erza moved to stand in front of his daughter. Lara swayed and the food fell to the floor. Ezra caught his daughter in his arms when she collapsed. "You used the force kiddo. There's no need to be afraid."

"Am I a jedi now?" Lara said tiredly.

"No, you're a padawan." Ezra smiled.

"Does that mean I have to grow a fuzzy face too?"

Ezra laughed. "No, you don't need to grow a you want to tell Kanan?"

"Yes." Lara squirmed out of Ezra's arms and ran to find Kanan. She looked up and saw him in the turret. "Uncle Kanan! Guess what!" Lara called up with a grin.

"Not now little flower! Uncle Kanan is busy!" Kanan called down to her and he whirled the gun around to fire at another tie.

"But Uncle! Daddy says I a jedi! Look!" Lara began floating a bolt in between her hands.

Kanan looked and smiled as they shot into hyperspace. "Well little flower, it seems I need to start training you to be a jedi."

Lara frowned and the bolt fell to the floor. "Can I be pilot too?"

Kanan's laugh rang through the ship. "Of course!"

"That's all we needed." Zeb grumbled as he came out of the cockpit. "Another Ezra."

Lara stuck her tongue out at the Lasat, who proceeded to the do same. "I can stick mine out farther than you!" Lara proceed to try and best the Lasat.

Arcas stormed into the commoners and slammed his fist into the wall. Kanan looked up in surprise. "I hate Lara! I wish she was never born!" Arcas punched the wall again

"Easy there little boots. Don't put a dent in Hera's ship just because you're mad at you sister." Kanan smiled at the thirteen year old boy. "Now why are you angry with Lara?"

"I'm not angry! I hate her, that's all there is to it."

"You don't hate Lara, you're just angry. Now tell me what's wrong."

"Why does she get to on the mission with you? She's only three years older than so why should I have to stay behind? It's not fair." Arcas slumped into the booth next to Kanan.

Kanan fought back a laugh as Arcas pouted. "We need her help on this mission. It's only this once. You'll be fine."

"I hate her." Arcas claimed again.

"No you don't."

"Yes I do. Why do you keep saying I don't?"

"Do you know what your first word was?" Kanan smiled down at Arcas.

"Momma or dadda."

"Nope. It was Lara. When you were a baby you won't stop crying unless you could see Lara. You won't sleep unless she crawled into bed with you. Once you could crawl you followed Lara wherever you could. Once you could walk you followed her everywhere. When Jem and Kya were born, Jem grabbed hold of Lara's finger. You yelled at him saying 'you have a sister! Lara's mine and I'm not sharing.' The first time the two of you met Vizago Lara was six years old and you were three. The two of you wondered off the ship and ended up at his camp, he startled her, made her cry. You bit him, it was funny but Vizago didn't find it as amusing. Normally the first person a kid loves is their mother. In your case it was your older sister. You couldn't hate Lara anymore than you could hate breathing." Kanan stood up and placed a hand on Aras's shoulder. "Try imagining your life without Lara before you say you wish she was never born.

Arcas had spent hours trying to picture his life with out Lara but nothing came to mind. There were no thoughts or memories that stirred in his mind. Arcas came to the conclusion that there was no life without Lara. Lara had always been there and Arcas had every few memories without her, but she had still existed. In sudden horror Arcas realized he wouldn't know how to live without Lara. Lara had taught him everything he knew. Arcas jumped up and ran to find Lara. With an expression of annoyance and red cheeks Arcas hugged Lara and just waited.

"Love you too Arcy." Lara said lovingly as she wrapped her arms around her brother.

The childhood memories faded from Arca's mind as he looked up at the bottom of Platt's bunk. It had been two months since the empire had broadcasted that Lara was dead. Arcas hadn't spoken a word to Nova since, blaming her for the loss of his sister. The crew had barely managed to do anything since Lara was left behind.

The door hissed open. "Arcas?" It was Nova, Arcas rolled on to his side and faced the wall. "Arcas please come eat. Arcas please. . . I was just following orders. I didn't think she'd get left behind. I honestly thought she had a plan." Nova pleaded her voice trembling.

Arcas didn't say anything and Nova left in tears. She turned to see Platt standing at the end of the hall with a sympathetic look on his face. "Give him time Nov." Platt moved to embrace Nova and she allowed it. "He's taking this worse than any one us. He needs time."

"You don't understand." Nova cried, her face hidden in Platt's shirt. "I love him."

"Nova we all love -" Platt began gently.

"No! I don't love him the way Kya dose. I'm in love with him. I can't stand him being mad at me."

Nova couldn't see the hurt look on Platt's face as he tightened his arms around her. "I know Nova, I know. Just give him time to grieve."

"Will he ever forgive me?"

"Of course he will. Just for right now give him space and time. He'll be taking command sooner or later and then he'll drive us all crazy like he always does. And when we have time I'll train you okay?"

"Thanks Platt. Love you big brother." They stood there for a moment longer before Nova left Platt to take control of the ship.

Platt watched her until the cockpit door closed and then he leaned against the wall. "Don't call me that Little Blue, I love you too much." he said to her though she couldn't hear her. Platt, with a heavy sigh went into his shared room.

"You going to tell me to go eat too?" Arcas growled from his bunk.

"No I was going to call you a jackass and say you're the worst person alive."

Arcas rolled over and glared at Platt. "And why are you so pissed princess?"

"The next time you make Nova cry I will personally send you to your grave." Platt hissed.

"Right. Because you have a little boy crush on her. Dude she's practically our sister." Arcas put one of his arms over his eyes. "And if you ever threaten me again, I'll kill you."

"You're pathetic. No wonder Lara felt the need to ditch instead of asking you to help her. She couldn't stand to be around your sorry ass!"

That was the last straw. Arcas leapt from his bunk and slammed Platt into the wall by his throat. Platt kneed Arcas in the stomach and threw him to the floor. Arcas landed in a crouch and sprung up and he tackled Platt. The bedroom door opened and the two rolled into the hallway. Arcas ended up on top of Platt and punched him in the face. He raised his fist to hit again when Platt returned the below, knocking Arcas off of him. Platt moved to pin Arcas to the floor. "Get off me!" Arcas yelled his tone venomous.

"Arcas! Platt!" Kya stormed over to her brother and glared at them both. "Knock it off!"

"Stay out of this Kya!" The two fighting brothers yelled at her in sync.

"No! What would Lara say if she saw the two of you! Seriously! Quite acting like boys and grow up!" Kya snapped.

Arcas had ceased his struggling at the sound of Lara's name. "She promised." Arcas whispered relaxing some of his tense muscles as the back of his head lightly hit the floor, causing him to now stare past Platt and up at the ceiling. "She promised she won't leave." Tears began to roll down Arcas's face as he stared at the ceiling. The one thing Arcas couldn't stand was crying in front of his younger siblings. The only people who had ever seen him cry was Hera, Kanan, Sabine and Lara.

Platt looked away from Arcas and moved to sit by the wall, he couldn't stand seeing his older brother in that much pain. "Lara has promised us all that at one point. But we all knew her better than that. We all knew she'd sacrificed herself before she let any of us get a single scratch." Tears began to follow down Platt's cheeks as he spoke. "She promised us she wouldn't leave us knowing she'd break that promise."

"Don't you dare talk about lara like that!" Kya hissed. "Don't you ever talk about Lara like that! You hear me?!"

"It's kinda hard not to hear you when you're yelling." Arcas grumbled from the floor. "Look at us, we're all so pathetic."

Jem had appeared behind Kya. "And what makes you say that captain pathetic?"

"We can't even go one hour without screwing something up. How did Lara ever keep us in line?"

Kya let out a little laugh. "She was the oldest, the pilot and the jedi." The others joined her at this point. "How can any one want to argue with that?"

"She was so bossy." Arcas said as he sat up.

"And we liked it that way." Jem smiled.

"We needed it that way." Kya smiled.

"How she managed to raise all of us and still remained sane is beyond me." Platt smiled.

"Our untouchable Lara." Arcas smiled, once again letting a flood of memories fill his mind.

Lara stood in the small kitchen in the tower and watched Sabine make breakfast. Sabine laughed when Lara made a face at the yogin. "You like yogins."

"They smell funny." Lara glared at the fruit as her mother chopped it. "I miss daddy. When will he come back?"

"Soon baby. Now where is your brother?" Sabine looked around and didn't see the mischievous three year old anywhere.

Lara sighted. "I'll go find him." She grumbled as she began searching the tower. From under one of the tables Arcas jumped out.

"Boo!" Arcas was wearing one of their father's many helmets.

"Ahhh! A buckethead!" Lara cried out playfully. She ran away and her brother chased her. They giggled as they ran through the tower. The tower door opened and Ezra smiled down at his kids. "Daddy! Arcas has gone impartial!" Lara giggled as she darted behind her father's legs.

"Have not!" Arcas stomped his little foot and crossed his arms.

Ezra laughed. "My son is a buckethead. What will I ever do? Maybe I can tickle him back into being a rebel."

"No! No tickle!" Arcas cried as he darted away. Ezra followed him and found his son hiding behind Sabine's legs.

"Hi sweetheart." Ezra said before kissing Sabine.

"Ew!" The kids exclaimed before running off. They found the rest of the family coming into the tower.

"Hera!" They called together then glared at each other.

"My Hera!" Lara said as she wrapped her little arms around Hara's leg.

"No! Mine!" Arcas said as he wrapped his arm around Hera's other leg.

"You're both wrong." Kanan smiled. "She's mine." Kanan kissed Hera and the kids ran to Zeb.

"Zeb! They kissing again." Lara complained with a face of discuss.

The Lasat laughed and picked both the kids up with one hand. He placed them on his shoulder. "I know. Let's go see if we can't change that." They gathered together for breakfast and Sabine smiled.

"Lara, Arcas. I have a surprise for the two of you."

"What is it momma?" Lara looked up from stabbing the yogin with her fork.

"Mommy's going to have another baby. You're getting a new brother or sister." Sabine smiled shocking the whole crew.

"Not another one!" Lara complained.

The whole crew bursted out laughing at the six year old girl's reaction to the news. Ezra looked to Sabine and took her hand. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"You were too busy going about your mission. I never got the chance."

Lara groaned as she laid flat on the floor, face down. "Why mommy why?" Zeb put his hand over his mouth trying hard not to laugh at the dramatic little girl.

"I thought you'd be happy. Why don't you want a new sibling?" Hera asked kindly.

Arcas sat on Lara's back and began pulling her hair. Lara pointed at him "That's why."

Arcas sat with his arms crossed over his chest as he glared at the floor. Kya had painted his hair bright pink and Jem had broken the holo table and Arcas was now taking the blame.

Ezra sighted. "Arcas I know your lying. Jem is only three years old. How could he have broken holo table?"

"I don't know! Maybe he had Chopper help him!" Arcas yelled, but shrunk back when Ezra crossed his arms.

"And Kya painted you hair too I'm guessing?"

"Evil little brat did it in my sleep." Arcas grumbled.

"Arcas, what have I said about lying to me?" Ezra pinched the bridge of his nose. Lara appeared from the cockpit.

"Daddy don't yell at Arcy. He didn't do it." Lara moved to stand between her father and Arcas. "I did it. I paint Arcas's hair as a prank and broke the holo table. I'm sorry."

Ezra was about to say something when master Kanan entered the room. "You two ready for training?"

"Lara you're going to explain to Master Kanan what you've done. Arcas, go find Mommy and see if you can get that paint out of your hair."

Kanan looked between the three of them but didn't say anything. Arcas gave Lara a grateful look before darting off.

Later that day Arcas found Lara curled into a ball in their room. Arcas hugged Lara. "Did daddy yell at you?"

Lara shook her head. "No it was Master Kanan this time."

"Why did you lie to them?" Arcas said as Lara looked up at him. In Arcas's eyes Lara was invincible, scarible but unhurtable.

Lara smiled at Arcas. "You wouldn't understand Arcy. You're not the oldest."

Arcas made a face of annoyance. "What does that mean?"

"I have to protect you and the twins. It's why I was born first."

"That doesn't make any senses." Arcas grumbled.

"That's because you're not the oldest."

Arcas was about to reply when the door opened revealing Hera. "Lara can I talk to you?"

Lara only nodded and left the room. Arcas narrowed his eyes and stormed off to find the twins. He found them in the cafe with Sabine. He ignored his mother and pushed both of the three years olds to the floor. "Listen here you little monsters!" Arcas hissed as he stood over them with his arms crossed. "You two owe Lara! She took the blame for what you did!"

"Arcas Bridger!" Sabine snapped. She started to move towards her oldest son when Lara came running into the room. Lara grabbed Arcas's wrist and dragged him to the nearest vent. The two crawled in and out of their mother's reach. "Ezra!" Sabine yelled as she picked the twins up.

Ezra came up the ladder and rushed to his wife. "What is it?! What's wrong?!"

"Your son needs to be punished for hurting the twins but your daughter just dragged him into the vents!" Sabine hissed

"Why are they always my kids when they do something wrong?" Ezra grumbled as he went to the vent.

"Lara Bridger you get out here right now! You too Arcas!" He yelled. Ezra hear the sound of a vent cover falling in Zeb's room and moved to get his children.

Ezra opened the door and saw Zeb laying in his bed and his oldest children pressed against the wall. "Ezra, you wake me, you die." The Lasat growled clearly not noticing the kids.

"Hand over my kids and I'll leave." Ezra said calmly.

Arcas gave Lara a panicked looked. Lara kicked Zeb's ribcage and the Lasat sprang up. Lara used her father's sudden panic as an opportunity. She grabbed Arcas and ran. Ezra whirled to catch them but was met by the stern look of Hera. The kids had hidden behind her as a last resort.

"Anyone want to explain to me what's going on?"

Kanan's door opened. "I'd like to hear this myself. Lara." The jedi rested his stern gaze on the child. Lara shrunk back and Hera glared at Kanan.

"That little loth-rat kicked me in the ribs." Zeb growled jabbing a finger at Lara.

"Arcas is in trouble and so is Lara. Hera if you don't mind, I need to punish my children now."

"Have any of you thought to ask why Lara would take her brother and run?"

Everyone froze and exchanged looks before resting their eyes on Lara who was still standing in between the angry adults and her little brother. "Lara?" Kanan asked as he knelt down and reached for her. He pulled the child closer to him by her hands and gave her a questioning look.

"I can't tell you." Lara looked at her feet.

"And why not?" Kanan's tone was soft and calm but that didn't help to ease Lara's nerves.

"I just can't!" tears began to roll down her face.

Suddenly the twins came running in. "No! No hurt Lara!" They called in sync. They wrapped their arms around Lara and glared at the adults. Zeb tried not to laugh. "Lara no do anything!"

"Oh? Than who painted Arcar's hair and broke the holo table?" Kanan looked over the twins.

"I made Arcas hair pretty." Kya smiled.

"I fix the table later." Jem looked at the floor.

Zeb rolled his eyes. "They are definitely your kids." He said as he went back to him room. Lara grabbed Arcas's and Jem's wrist and ran to their room. Kya followed and Lara locked the door.

Arcas awoke to find Lara missing and the others. Panicked Arcas jumped out of their bed and ran to the tower door, readying a blaster as he opened it. Lara sat on the balcony with her back to the door. Arcas cautiously moved to look at Lara's face. She was meditating. Arcas let out a sigh of relief. He closed the door and sat next to it as he watched over his older sister.

"You're sulking." Lara finally said.

"No I'm not!" Arcas said defensively. Lara turned and looked at her six year old brother.

"Yes you are. Come on Arcy you can't lie to me. What's wrong?" Lara's tone was so soft and loving that it melted Arcas's defencive attitude.

"I was thinking. What if the man dad warned us about comes here? We're kids, what are we suppose to do?"

"If that man ever comes here Arcy I want you to take the others and run." Lara said too sternly for a nine year old girl.

"What about you?" Arcas's eyes sadden at the thought of what the Inquisitor would do to Lara.

"I'm going to lead him as far away from you as I can."

"You'd leave us?" Arcas voice rose and Lara cautioned him to be quite.

"I'd make sure to contact mom and dad first. Arcas that man killed master Kanan. I'm not letting him near you."

"And I'm not letting him near you."

"Arcy promise me. Promise me if he comes for me you'll protect the others."

"You can sense him right? If you sensed him you'd let me know before you left me right?"

"I'll say 'black fog'. That'll be our code. One we don't teach to the little ones, okay?"

Arcas nodded. "As long as you warn me before you leave me than I promise I'll take care of the little three."

Lara smiled at Arcas. "We'll be okay Arcas. No one will ever find us here."

Arcas was about to reply but Platt's crying cut him off. "Well as long as the baby stays quiet no one will find us." Lara ruffled Arcas's hair before she went inside to comfort their youngest brother.

Arcas sat in the turret and looked up at the stars. Ezra climbed up the ladder. " Arcas I have a surprise for you!"

"You know I hate surprises 're never good in this family." Arcas looked over at his father lazily.

"Hey your siblings were surprises." Ezra said defensively.

"As I said, I hate surprises, they're never good." Arcas gave his father a joking smile.

Ezra smiled. "Just get you rebellious butt outside." Ezra climbed back down the ladder and Arcas sat there thoughtful for a moment before he followed.

Outside the ship Lara and Kanan sat in meditation. Arcas went over to his father silently with a questioning look. Ezra handed Arcas a blaster and smiled a sly smile. He set his Blaster to stun and took aim.

Arcas realizing what his father was doing. Smiling mischievously he took aim. Together the mischievous duo began to fire. Kanan grabbed his lightsaber and began deflecting the blaster whereas Lara began to dodge them.

The Bridgers laughter rang through the ship as they laughed at the memories of their older sister. They all made their way to the cockpit to bug Nova about her flying skills. When they entered to cockpit Arcas took the co-pilot seat. He flashed Nova a soft smile. "Sorry." was all he said.

"Is he drunk?" Nova looked to Platt and the twins laughed.

"No, he's just in a better mood now that I've kicked his ass."

"Oh please! You know I would have won that fight!" Arcas smiled at his younger brother.

"I had you pinned! You're lucky Kya came to save you!"

"Boys! Not in my cockpit!" Nova said in a warning tone, sounding almost exactly like Lara would have.

"Ok mom!" The two said in sync as they teased the pilot. Nova glared at them and jerked the ship into a barrel row and straighten out. "Not funny!"

Rozella: I love our little Bridgers!

Tala: And Nova! Don't forget little blue. ;D

Rozella: XD Yes her too! I just kinda included her in with Bridgers

Tala: She is kinda like a sibling to them… well most of them anyway.

Rozella: DX Poor Platt.

Tala: I know… v.v Poor little guy… :/ wait… he ain't so little anymore is he?

Rozella: XD He's taller than Arcas so no. He's not little.

Tala: Right… well then… XD I think I still might call him a little guy. Oh! Bob?

Rozella: o_O Yes?

Tala: I need to know! Who asked for a spoiler?! I want to know who caused this to happen! DX

Rozella: Tala, I'm not going to point fingers, but at least now you know I wasn't joking.

Tala: *Pinched nose* Why did I agree with this…?

Rozella: Because you love me :) And you're just as evil.

Tala: Right. Point taken. Anyway… The opportunity for an OC is still out there, though this is the last time we are asking. We have received a good number of ideas so far.

Rozella: Next chapter?

Tala: I think so. :)

Rozella: YAY! I'll get the thing!

Tala: The… thing…?

Rozella: *Evil smile* That one thing I'm not allowed to talk about. You know the thing. Should I get you a thing too?

Tala: Oh… Those things. :D Sure of course! Welp when she returns we are going to start the next chapter. So see you then! :)
