Tala: Lol! XD Bob!

Rozella: Lol what Tala? XD

Tala: Remember when you used to hate the idea of Star Wars Rebels?

Rozella: SHHHHHH! DON'T TELL THE READERS THAT!

Tala: XD Too late I already did. *Menicaly laughs*

Rozella: V_V But Tala now they won't like me . . . Why must you make our readers hate me?

Tala: Bob. . . They won't hate you, because thankfully I converted you to Rebels. If you still hated it we wouldn't be writing this now would we? So there is no reason for them to dislike you now.

Rozella: T-T Tala you still told them. It was suppose to be a secret. *hides under table*

Tala: *drags out* Alright Bob, time to come out of hiding. As a writer you should not be afraid to say things. Be bold!

Rozella: *Bites and goes back under table* You have brought shame on to the house of Michelle. You suck Rozella, go back to your hole. *Twitches* I don't suck and I'm already in my hole! *Twitches* You are the shame of Michelle. *Twitches* There are only two Michelles, you and me. If I am the shame than tell me how I might make amends. *Twitches* Kill the shame bringer, she who tells. *Looks at Tala*

Tala: O~O Oh gawd. . . Not again . . . Uhm . . . Readers, please stand by and read this chapter while I . . . uhm handle this . . . *Slowly backs away*

Rozella: *Twitches* Run Tala! *Twitches* No don't run Tala I only want to talk.

Tala: *Reaches for frying pan* We do not own rebels or Hass, just our OCs. There the short disclaimer, now if you will excuse me I have to deal with this. O_O

Lara awoke and looked around her. She could have swore Arcas had been with them when she had fallen asleep. She managed to wiggled out of Nova and Kya's arms and slipped silently out of the room. She opened the door of the children's temporary room and stifled a giggle. Arcas laid on his back and the three children were all laying on him.

"Kidnapped?" Lara whispered in a smile.

Arcas beamed up at her and nodded. "I think they like me."

Lara laughed shaking her head as she left the room and went to the cafe. There she found Shalla already making breakfast. "Good morning Shalla." Lara said kindly Shalla gave Lara an uninterested nod. "Shalla if you are worried about your family I can personally guarantee they will be safe aboard my ship and with my crew."

"There are explosives just laying around, blasters are stashed everywhere and we're being hunted down by the empire! We can't go back to our home and have no means to start a new life! Do tell me Lara, how is my family safe?!" Shalla snapped.

Lara flenched at the woman's sudden sharp tone. Shalla had softly tanned skin and bright green eyes. Her deep brunette hair curled to her shoulders. She was slender and fragile looking, but there was a look Lara recognized in the woman's eyes. She was a fighter, just as Sabine and Hera had been.

Lara recomposed her face. "We were born and raised to tear apart the empire and vanish from their sights. I can set you up a home away from Capital City and no one would be the wiser. The explosives are my sister's and the blasters my brother's. I will have them removed from your children's reach. And if the empire tries to stop us or you, they will meet the worse on me."

Shalla stood and blinked for a moment, before looking away from Lara sharply. "Why are you helping us?"

Lara smiled and at that moment Arcas, the kids, and the rest of Lara's family came into the room.

"Once upon Lothal lived a young street rat by the name of Ezra." Lara began.

"I love this story!" Arcas smiled, taking a seat on the floor as the children sat in his lap. The others took up seat at the table.

"One normal day as he looked down upon the streets of Capital City and something changed. Though this boy was a thief and menious to the empire he was not quite like those that he saw. Three strangers with both skill and knowledge stole from the empire. Ezra, daring as he was, intervened in their plans. He was nearly knocked off his stolen speeder by a very temperamental Lasat. As he raced down the streets and young woman jumped from the roofs and stole a crate he had been running with. Ezra was not only chased by the Imps but the strangers too. Once away from the city Ezra's speeder was destroyed, in a daring escape from Ties, Ezra jumped onto the ship of the strangers. After a series of odd events Ezra ended up in the gun turret. He was ripped from the chair and when he turned he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. . ." Lara continued telling the story, the children getting wide eyed and their smiles spreading with excitement. Even Shalla was leaning in closer, eager to hear more.

"It was then he kissed his beautiful wife and he knew he never would go back to being alone again. And that my dears is where I shall end this tail." Lara smiled.

"Aw!" The children exclaimed in disappointment.

"What happened to Sabine and Ezra?" Leti asked, half way leaning out of Arcas's arms.

"They had five children and continued to rebel against the empire." Arcas smiled.

"Hera and Kanan had a pretty little girl." Platt smiled, glancing over at Nova.

"Where are they now?" Pate asked, leaning like his sister.

"Sleeping." Lara gave the kids a weak smile.

Shalla blinked out of enchanted state. "What does that story have to do with why you are helping my family?"

The children of the Ghost stood up and lined up behind Lara. "We, the children of Bridger and Jarrus, will gladly assist your family." They all said in sync as they did a little bow.

The children all gasped in surprise and Shalla stood in shock.

"Ezra is your daddy?" Pat smiled at Arcas.

"You Hera's baby?" Leti smiled at Nova.

Before Nova or Arcas could answer the children all darted off and began opening the doors. "Ezra!" "Hera!" "Kanan!" "Sabine!" "Zebby!" the children called as they darted about the ship. They returned pouting. "We no find them."

"Their sleeping." Kya and Jem said softly.

"Where?"

The children stood staring in horror at the five gravestones and dead mech. Shalla tightened her grip on Elek's hand. Hass stood and stared at the gravestones frozen. Leti looked up at Arcas as she clung to his leg. "You said they sleeping."

"They are." Arcas smiled gently. "They sleep in the plains of the planet they died trying to free, and we, their children, will finish their mission."

"You never said-" Hass seemed to struggle for words.

"There are somethings we don't talk about." Lara smiled gently. Whatever she was going to say after that was cut off by the sounds of Ties and other imperial vehicles. The Ghost and it's passengers were surrounded. Arcas ready his blasters, along with the children ran to their mother.

"Sis," Arcas began nervously. "Got a plan?"

Lara looked around and noted how dangerous the situation was. Lara knew she had taught Kya and Jem both enough for them to fly the Ghost. She knew Arcas and Hass would not leave and she knew she was going to have to use her prefered weapon in order to save the family.

"One. Spark! Splat! Get the family out of here! Zebby! Little Blue! " Lara took a deep breath. "Light'em up!"

Lara took a defensive stanice, reaching for the narrow metal object that hung at her waist. "Hass, I fear I have been hiding something from you."

"We can discuss this later." Hass said as he turned to face the troopers behind them.

"No darling, there will be no discussion."

"No darling, there will be no discussion." Lara said softly. Hass knew her words had a deeper meaning but had no time to decipher them.

The troopers all focused their fire on Lara and Hass heard a strange buzzing hum-like noise. Hass turned, fearing he would see Lara dead, but what he saw stunned him more than the thought of Lara dead.

Lara held a bright green lazer sword that illuminated her face as raised it to a ready position. Nova and Platt held similar weapons, only theirs' were blue.

"Focus your fire on the Jedi!" The commander yelled.

They all began firing, and the trio easily deflected the shots. Arcas returned fire. "Hey Ass! Don't just stand there! Make yourself useful!" Hass snapped out of his daze and began firing.

"Rule one!" Nova shouted as she defected the shots aimed at her. "Never forget those who have fallen!"

"Rule two! Never fall into the darkness!" Platt matched Nova's tone as the two began to resist the rules they had been told all their lives.

"Rule three! Help all in need!"

"Rule four! Do not stray from the family way!"

"Rule five! Protect those who cannot stand against the empire!"

"Rule six! No one gets left behind!"

"Rule seven! Fight for love and not in hate!"

"Rule eight! Do or do not! There is no try!"

"Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy! Jedi use their powers to defend and protect, never to attack others! Jedi respect all life, in any form! Jedi serve others, rather than rule over them, for the good of the galaxy! Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training! There is no emotion, there is peace! There is no ignorance, there is knowledge! There is no passion, there is serenity! There is no chaos, there is harmony! There is no death, there is the Force!" Lara quoted what she had heard so many times before.

As they spoke the three force sensitive being fought in unisense, every movement well timed and every attack well placed. They deflect the shots from the blasters to the ties and other vehicles that surrounded them. When the imperial numbers dwindled the group moved closer to the Ghost, preparing to make their escape. When the last few troopers stood they darted into the Ghost and took for the skies.

Lara slumped to the cargo bay floor panting in exhaustion as tears welled up in her eyes. "How did they know where we were going to be there? How did they know where we buried our family?" Lara's voice trembled.

"I don't know." Platt dropped on all fours trying to catch his breath. "You don't think-" He looked to Lara. "You don't think they'll dig them up do you?"

Nova didn't say anything as she slide to the floor, tears streaming down her face. "No," Arcas said softly and in a smooth and even tone. "They don't know who the graves belong too. Chances are they'll think they're kin to the broadcasters." Arcas knelt down next to Lara.

They three looked at him and took comfort in his soft smile and gentle words.

"You're . . . You're a jedi. . . " Hass said hesitantly.

Lara looked at him, her eyes guilty. She stood up and moved towards him. "I'm sorry. I had to protect my family. I couldn't-" Hass cut her off by shaking his head and staggering back a step.

"You stay away from me!" He shouted taking a defensive stance. "You use a laser sword like the man who killed my father!"

"She nothing like the Inquisitor!" Arcas yelled, defending his elder sister as she stood frozen. "Don't you ever compare my sister to that monster!" Arcas had grabbed Hass and slammed him against the wall. Nova and Platt stood behind him with looks on their faces that said they were going to kill the chiss. "That monster killed our family and you dare compare her to him!"

"Arcas," Lara said softly. "Stop."

Arcas looked at her in disbelief. But moved when she showed no signs of changing her mind. "I'm going to kill him."

"No you're not." Lara move to stand between her brother and Hass. "Go, check on the kids and their parents. They're probably terrified after what happened."

Arcas left reluctantly but knew she was right. Platt and Nova followed after a moment of hesitation. Lara turned and smiled kindly at Hass. "You may leave if you so choose. You don't have to stay, I know how you hate force users." Lara spoke softly and left when she was done.

Hass leaned against the wall with a heavy sigh and thought upon Lara's offer.

"Do you have to go?" Leti pouted up at Arcas.

"Yeah I have to go little face." Arcas smiled. "But don't worry, I'll come back and visit."

"But why? Why we have to stay here?" Pate pouted.

"You'll be safe here."

"When we older you teach us how to fight right?" Leti's eyes were hopeful.

"Of course!" Arcas scooped the kids up into a hug before picking them up and spinning them all in a circle. They giggled and staggered when Arcas put them back down.

"Here!" Tye said shoving the purple bantha into Arcas's face.

"Thanks little buddy." Arcas scruffed the boys hair.

The Ghost crew had set up the family in one of their hideaways far from Capital City. As the crew and family parted Arcas smiled to himself. "Bye kids!"

"Bye boot stranger!"

Arcas laughed as the crew made their way back to the Ghost. Once there Lara went to the bridge and prepared to leave. She took a deep breath and started the engines.

"If I'm going to stay," a deep even voice came from behind her, sending a smile across her face. "Do I have to pile into your bunk with the rest of your family?"

Lara turned and smiled at Hass. "What made you decide to stay?"

"A certain beautiful rebel with the kindest heart I have ever known." Hass took the co-piolt seat.

"Kya is great, but don't let Jem hear you talking about his twin like that." Lara looked back out the port.

"I wasn't talking about Kya. I was talking about you." At that Lara blushed and smiled at Hass.

"Welcome to my crew," Her smile spread. "Pet."

Months had passed and Hass and Lara grew close, which bugged the others to no end, especially a certain rebel of rebels.

Hass and Lara laughed lightheartedly as they entered the Ghost with their supplies. "There you are insurgents!"

Hass, before Lara could reply to Arcas's drunken greeting, tackled him. Hass quickly pinned Arcas and pointed his blaster at Arcas's head.

"Arcas!" Lara screeched in a panicked tone, tackling Hass and pinning him to the floor by his wrist..

"He's a traitor Lara!" Hass yelled as he tried to free himself from Lara's bonebreaking grip.

"No he's not!" Lara laughed, easing her grip on Hass's wrist. "He's drunk."

"But he-"

"I know! He always turns into an imp lover when he's drunk."

Hass looked at Lara in astonishment. "How do manage to deal with them?"

"I was born to bossy them around." Lara winked.

"Creepy blue butt! Hands of my sister! I don't if she an insurgent!" Arcas walked over and picked Lara up and threw her over his shoulder like a ragdoll.

"Hey!" Lara protested.

"Mine!" Arcas laughed as he darted off the ship.

"Arcas Bridger you put me down!" Lara yelled as her drunken brother ran off with her.

"Never!" Arcas yelled playfully.

"Hass! A little help please!" Lara called as she tried to free herself without hurting Arcas.

"I'm on it!" Hass raised his blaster once more and pointed at Arcas. "Unhand her you filthy buckethead!"

"Bring it you sleezy insurgent!"Arcas smiled.

"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" Nova sang from the where she stood on top of the Ghost.

"Nova oh great queen! Your assistance if you please!" Arcas called to her with a smile.

"Kidnap!" Nova randomly shouted before jumping off the Ghost and landing in between Hass and Arcas. She smiled up at Hass and Arcas ran.

"Nova Ryloth Jarrus!" Lara began to nag as she realized Nova was just a drunk as Arcas. "Araca Var Bridger! If you don't put me down this instant! I swear on the force-" Lara was cut off when Arcas tripped and had landed on top of her, knocking the wind out of her.

"Sorry bossy!" He smiled. "Your force can't help you now!" Arcas picked Lara back up and continued running away from Hass.

Hass hissed in annoyance as Arcas ran off with Lara thrown over his shoulder. An unsteady Nova blocked his path. "Fluffeh Mc Tall! Grab him!" Nova smiled and Hass was grabbed from behind.

"'Ello there gibby face." Platt's words were slurred but understandable and his face was red.

"You're drunk too?!" Hass exclaimed in discus.

"Yeppers!" Platt grind, as he swayed slightly.

"Is there anyone left sober?" Hass tried to get free of Platt's grip but to no avail.

"Yep-a-doodles. You and Lara-smara-nara."

"Who?" Hass froze in confusion.

"Lara-smara-nara. Arcy-barky-larky ran away with her so you couldn't touch her." He hiccuped out.

"Fluffeh! Away with him to the dungeon!" Nova pointed her finger randomly into the air and spoke in a demanding tone.

"Okay-dokey-lokey Nova-lova-rova." Platt smiled. With one solid hit Platt knocked Hass out and carried him back into the Ghost.

"Arcas if you don't put me down I will hurt you!" Lara threatened.

Arcas smiled as he put Lara down but then wrapped her in his arms and kept her there.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Lara demanded as she tried to struggle free from her brothers arms.

"We're testing him bossy." Arcas smiled. "Just like you use to do."

Lara looked up at Arcas with a stern look on her face. "Why?"

"If he's gonna be apart of your insurgent riddled crew, he may as well know how to act like one of you." Arcas swayed on his feet.

Lara stood thoughtful for a moment before looking up at Arcas with a every serious look. "You did plan a in-ship attack right?"

"That's my Lara!" Arcas picked Lara up and hugged her. "And of course we did. Helmets and all."

Lara wiggled out of Arcas's arms and punched him in the shoulder. "That's for kidnapping me." With that she began to make her way back to the Ghost. "Let's go jerk loyalist! I'll show you how the pro does things."

"Whatever you say bossy insurgent ." Arcas smiled and followed Lara back to the Ghost.

Hass awoke and found himself in a small room that looked to be a closet. "I'm going to kill that blue malicious trat and that tall freak too!" Hass hissed to himself as he sat up. As the dizziness cleared Hass recognized the sound of an alarm.

He jumped to his feet and tried the door, it was locked. He whirled around and only saw the vent as an available exit. He knew he'd never fit so he tried the door again hoping it was only stuck. With some effort he managed to get the closet door open and wiggle out before it closed again. He looked around and recognized the commoners of the Ghost, however the room looked as if there had been a battle in it.

What set his nerves on edge the most was the red streaks on the floor. It looked like blood and looked as if someone was dragged away. He followed the blood to the twins' cabin and opened the door only to flinch back so hard he fell to the floor. Kya laid in a pool of blood and looked to have been thrown to the floor. Hass scrambled away from the door and the door hissed closed.

He heard a scream echo through the ship and was suddenly cut off. He knew it wasn't Lara as he had heard her screams before. He scrambled to his feet and ran to the cockpit. They were clearly in space and Lara's pilot chair was soaked in red and there were smears on the floor leading the the ladder. Hesitantly Hass nudged closer to the ladder and looked down. There was nothing there but more blood.

His heart was racing and his breaths were short pants as he ran to the cafe. He skidded to a stop and saw two stormtroopers standing there splattered in red. Hass tried to flee but when he turned there was another trooper. Looking around the only thing he could think of was picking up a jogan and throwing it at the lone trooper before darting back to the bridge.

Everything went dead silent. The alarm shut off and there were no signs of movement. This frightened Hass even more than the alarms. Suddenly he could hear Kya.

"Help me! Help me please!" Her voice cried. Hass covered his ears. "Why didn't you save me? You should have saved me!" And just a suddenly as it appeared, Kya's voice was gone.

Hass began hearing voice from his past calling out to him in haunting memories. He slumped to the floor and curled into a ball.

"This can't be real. Hass it's not real! Look for the proof." Hass whispered to himself. He looked at the red that was smeared on the floor. It was looked like blood in his panicked state, but now he realized it was just red paint. "The blood is paint." Hass moved to the door and bolted to the twins' cabin. Kya wasn't there. "Kya's not there. The scream! The scream came from the vents, it was Nova. The troopers . . . " Hass smiled and took a calming breath. "The troopers were most likely Arcas, Jem and Lara." Hass returned to the commoner. "Interesting game you've got going on here!" He called out.

The crew slowly revealed themselves, all out them smiling. "You've passed the first test." Kya smiled.

"Once you've joined there's no going back." Nova smiled as she dropped down from the vents.

"Got it?" Arcas smirked.

Hass smiled. "I follow your lead." He inclined his head to Lara.

She rolled her eyes and headed back to the bridge. "Let's go."

"Platt! Arcas!" Lara called as she walked to the commoners. Kya and Jem were playing Dejarik on a hologame table, Platt and Nova were in the cafe repair all the blasters. "Where's Arcas?"

"His room!" Nova called from the cafe.

"Thanks! Platt! Get ready, I'm sending you on a supply run!" Lara turned and went to Arcas and Platt cabin. She opened the door and found him lying on his bunk, spinning a blaster. She could tell just by looking at him that he was sulking. "What's wrong Arcy?"

"That blue pet of yours has taken and hidden all the liquor." Arcas looked up at her, he was pouting and looked more like a child than a man in his twenties. "Can I please kill him?" He asked in the tone one would use when asking their mom if they could kill their sibling.

Lara forced back a laugh. "It's okay baby. Mommy will get back your bad behavior juice for you. And you can take your little brother to the market. Okay?" Lara said in her mock motherly tone.

Arcas smiled. "Thanks mom." Arcas rolled out of his buck and went to find Platt, poking Lara as he passed.

Tala: Now don't cause trouble you two. XD

Rozella: XD Tala please, it's two Bridgers how much trouble could . . . . Never mind!

Tala: Oh boy… Arcy… v.v What are you going to get the into?

Rozella: Someone call . . . . Wait . . . . Was Hass hitting on Lara? HE WAS! ARCAS! ARCAS! He's hitting on your sister! Tala! did you see that?!

Tala: XD Yes, yes I did. XD But Shhhh don't tell Arcy. XD

Rozella: Oh! Fun random fact about Arcy! He was originally going to be the baby of the Bridger Family. So into the Future he was going to be two rather than nine. He was also going to be the good kid.

Tala: It would have been fun to see him as the little goodie-goodie of the Bridger Brats. x3 Anyway shall we head out onto the next chapter?

Rozella: Obviously. We have trouble to stir. . . . Stir? Stir . . . MY TEA! I FORGOT MY TEA! * runs out of room*

Tala: HEY! DON'T FORGET MY COFFEE!
