Author's Note: So when I was bored several months ago I decided to take a list of prompts and have fun with them. This was one of the results. I hope you enjoy.
Prompt: #4 - Insides
Characters: Feliciano (Italy) and Ludwig (Germany)
Rated K+ because I like the looks of the plus sign
Summary: Ludwig is trying to learn how to be a good friend, luckily Feliciano is there to settle his heart and teach him with some good ol' Italian wisdom!
Disclaimer: Hidekaz Himaruya owns Hetalia, not I. I shan't be making any money from this, but hopefully I'll earn a few smiles.
"How Relationships Work"
Feliciano peeked over Ludwig's shoulder curiously. "What are you reading?"
The blond blushed a bit as he hurriedly closed his book, "It's nothing." He grumbled.
Feliciano frowned, "I don't believe you, let me see!" The ensuing struggle was certainly a hard one on the Italian's part, but he was much more flexible and managed to twist the book out of his companion's grasp. The book's title read How Relationships Work. "What do you need this for?"
Ludwig refused to meet the curious brown eyes. "I haven't had many friends, so I'm trying to learn how to be a good one."
Feliciano blinked while trying to fully grasp what Ludwig was saying. He then smiled and laughed warmly, causing Ludwig to send an embarrassed glare which was waved down. "But you can't use a book for these sorts of things!" Feliciano was keeping the book securely in his hands so that Ludwig could not take it back.
"But how else can I go about it? I don't have much experience so..." Ludwig was cut off.
"Then you experience it! You learn about people and how to be with people by going out and doing it! You use your insides." Feliciano placed a hand over his heart while he looked at Ludwig earnestly. Though the blond man did not seem very sure of what he had been told he slowly nodded his head. Pleased, Feliciano left with the book under his arm, unaware of his companion getting up and taking a new book off the shelf: How to Understand Italians.
