"Oi, Fai! What do you think of this one?" he asked, while pointing at the name situated at the top of the page.
"Ryuutarou?" Fai said as he read the word that his lover suggested. The kanji that composed the name signified son of the large dragon. He snickered as it was in fact, very symbolic to the black haired man, "That's clever."
"Yeah! He could be named as a reminder of his brave and incredibly talented father," the dark toned man answered, looking a bit too proud of his own idea.
Fai grinned and gave him a tiny peck on the cheek. That's an adorable name for a baby boy. I'm sure Kurogane would be very proud if his own son carried such a strong name. After all, his father meant so much to him. It'd be idiotic of my part to think that he wouldn't want his own offspring to picture him in any other way. If it was in fact, a son.
"Hey Mr. Softie, I think that name's a great idea, if it's a boy of course. But what if it turns out to be a girl, oh bright one?" Fai asked, amused.
Both men pondered about the topic for a few minutes until Kurogane lifted his eyes in order to meet Fai's gaze. The dark skinned man seemed hesitant about what he was going to say as he frowned slightly. His eyes softened, making his familiar piercing look disappear. In the past few months, he had really become more open with the wizard. He showed his emotions more frequently and no longer put on his thought act as often as he used to. It was only the blond man that had that privilege, as he didn't change his behaviour in front Syaoran or Sakura.
Trying his best to keep a straight face, he whispered as he exhaled, "Yuii."
It was almost incomprehensible but the mage picked up on what he said. Fai's eyes immediately clouded over and tears ran down his rosy cheeks. Cursed pregnancy hormones! I cry at everything! Kurogane will only think of me as a weak cry-baby... This is really getting old. He sniffled a couple of times a recomposed himself. The ninja was right, Yuii was a very girlish name to start off with. Calling his possibly future daughter Yuii seemed like a great idea to him. He was so happy that Kurogane was alright with that idea, even that he was the one who suggested it. That way, he'd always be reminded of his long lost brother, but in a happy way. Certainly, Fai wasn't proud of what had happened but he had long forgiven himself over what had occurred. Surely, it was with the help of Kurogane that he had become self-acceptant for the first time in his life. He loved his twin brother more than anything, almost as much as he loved Kuro-pii.
"I'm thrilled with that idea," Fai replied, smiling once again.
"How in the freaking world do you bounce back moods so easily? Forget that, it's getting late! You should go to bed you idiot wizard or you're just going to be a moody and whiny pregnant man tomorrow morning and you know it!"
I guess his dull and straight forward side hasn't disappeared after all.
The next morning, the warrior woke up very early before sunrise. The defensive awakening he had acquired from ninja training kicked in. He nearly jumped out of bed and onto his feat as examined his surroundings. The comforting presence of the man who slept alongside him had disappeared! This could only mean... either the wizard had morning sickness, or that he was-
A thunderous banging noise was heard from the kitchen. It didn't take Kurogane more convincing than that to dash in direction of where the sound had originated from. None of the lights were on and it was impossible to see where he was going. How the wizard managed to get around in this darkness was beyond him. Even after all his years of training, he wasn't able to creep and find his way through obscurity nearly as much as he was.
Startled by the sudden flick of the lights, the wizard who was previously raiding the fridge turned around to face the newcomer in the room.
"Kuro-myu, what're you doing up so early?"
"I should ask you the same thing," he answered, blushing as he didn't want to admit he was worried about Fai.
"I'm hungry. Isn't it obvious?" the blue eyes man sassily replied.
Ignoring the tone in which he replied in, Kurogane took a seat at one of the chairs and crossed his arms on the table. He contemplated Fai silently, inspecting his physiques and motions. He was such a graceful man, even more refined than most women he'd met in his lifetime. The women of Nihon were brought up to look like dolls and he had been aware of that, especially since he spent so much of his time with Tomoyo. She was the prized princess of the land so she definitely had to top the rest of the girls. Yet, she was nothing as elegant as he was and her movements were never as flawless as those of the wizard's. However, that was not the only thing that was so attractive about him. Sure, he was handsome or hot since both words fit the picture. But ever since he had gained that baby belly, it was just as if reality hit. It was physically evident that he was to become a father. It was no longer a thought, something that they said. It was truly happening. Kurogane blushed at that thought and tried to direct his mind somewhere else. That stupid wizard is still wearing Celes night gowns. But I don't have the heart to tell him that his shirt is getting too small. You can almost see the skin starting his belly button down. That idiot.
The mage sat down at the table in order to eat his early and copious breakfast. He had certainly cooked up a storm and he would've never eaten as much if he was in his normal state. His plate was filled with a stack of fried ham as well as half a dozen of boiled eggs. It didn't stop there; he had crepes that were topped with olives and pickles as a side dish, which he regularly hated.
Kurogane sighed and simply let his lover do as he wished. On the bright side, he didn't have to deal with the child being inside him.
**7 months pregnant**
Kurogane came back from the kitchen in order to spot his boyfriend sitting down awkwardly on one of the cushions designated for the kotatsu in the middle of the living room. He was holding a cup of green tea and stared off into the distance.
"And what in the world do you think you're doing mage?" Kurogane asked, bemused and puzzled on what his boyfriend was actually up to.
"I'm trying to zone out the pain. My ankles are so swollen and they hurt so much when I walk on them. And my back!... don't let me start talking about my back!" he answered in a whining voice.
Without anything else said, Kurogane got closer to Fai and pulled up the bottom of the yukata in order to see the damage the baby had done to his poor lover's body. He was quick to notice how enflamed and red his ankles really were.
"Do you want ice for that?"
"Oh trust me I've tried. It only helps out for the first 10 seconds and it starts stinging afterwards. It's a no go!" Fai answered, pouting.
Kurogane smirked. He had just thought of something that would take his mind off all of his pain. However, the ninja had to remind himself that he had to play nice or he could end up causing more damage.
"Would this help then?" he asked, putting both of his large hands around the belt of Fai's yukata and undid the knot. He helped his lover lay down and started undoing the garments. He left trails of kisses along the side of his neck, nipping at it occasionally.
"You're tickling me, Kuro-myu" Fai said in between giggles.
"Hush wizard" as Kuro-poo tried to continue what he started.
His hands caressed the frail chest and made their way to the sides of his newly acquired stomach. Fai's abdomen had indeed grown a lot since he announced that he was with child. When he sat down, you could clearly see through the yukata that his belly was indeed spherical despite his attempts to hide it. Stretch marks had formed on the thin man and it seemed painful for a person to get their skin stretched out as much. This was especially true since it happened in such a short period of time. Kurogane rubbed those spots very carefully and then proceeded to make his way down to the pants.
I guess being pregnant has its plus after all. Fai beamed and pressed his lips hard against those of Kurogane. He pulled him into a passionate embrace, lips locked together.
Thank you so much for reading this guys! I told you I'd write some more! :P Also I felt like writing a little bit more risqué today haha... I really tried to make up since I hadn't written in so long. It feels amazing to actually write something that you enjoy unlike the enormous amount of papers I have to come up with for my English class. It's no fun when you're told how to write it and what to write. It's alright though, I handed in my assignment this morning and I got it back with an amazing grade! Whoohoo!
Anyways I thank you all so much for supporting me! Like every other author, I could come up like some lame excuse since I'm in a long distance relationship, school, etc... but I won't! There's no reason for this!
I appreciate all the comments and suggestions you readers do and they make my day as soon as I read them. I've also decided that since the chapters were written a while ago when I was much younger, I'd focus on finishing the story now and then re-write the chapters later on. I strive for perfection.
Just a side note, Ryuutarou is written as 龍太郎 (Kanji literally symbolising son of the big dragon.) Thank you Kisaru-ouhisama for the name suggestion as well as aki.
Until then, Ciao!
I'll post the next chapter when I get around 7 more reviews! Thank you for having faith in me for so long! 3 If you have any questions or want to know when the next update will be or just want to chat with me, you can add me on the messaging app, LINE Kitsukara
