CH: 18: Plans

Previously:

I step back grabbing Jaspers hand in mine as I head for the stairs I say "we are going to leave you now to have some time to yourselves, come outside when you want we will be waiting." I smile as I turn around. A voice stops me "thank you, both of you." Alex says looking at us. We nod and head upstairs.

And now:

BPOV:

As we made it outside I could see everyone laying around most of them were still shifted but a few, Eliza, Angela, and Jessica were in human form. Eliza was laying against Leah's Chest as she whisper things to her, Angela was laying down on Paul's stomach watching the stars and Jessica was sitting watching Brady, Collin and Seth wrestle with each other. Bree and Eric were circling the sky around us having fun doing flips and dives.

Now that I had the chance I could see that Eric turned into a half, my guess would be a red tail, but he had dark feathers making him blend in with the night sky and the forest around us.

Peter and Char sat on the porch steps, they stood when we walked outside causing everyone to look our way. Eliza was the first to speak.

"How are they?" she asked looking worried. I sighed before answering her, "well the older one, Alex woke up sometime in the last hour, Molly finished about five minutes ago, so she is still very emotional, they both are, Molly is very young from what I can tell, probably no more then 15, and Alex is older than that possibly 18, they have a close connection from what I can tell, and Jacob did quite the number on them. Alex is very territorial over her sister, I have no doubt that she will be strong." I explain to everyone, spitting out Jacobs name like dirt.

"So what are they? What did Black do?" Angela asked a frown on her face.

"I don't know what they are yet, but judging by their eye color I would say Shifter-vampires, what they will turn into I have no idea." I said looking at peter to see if he had any idea.

"from what my gift is telling me they will turn into wolves, like most of you, anything else you will have to figure out when the time comes" he grinned as I scowled at him, I hated his cryptic shit.

Sensing my frustration at peter Jasper pulled me into his arms kissing my neck as he sent a small wave of calm into me, I leaned back gratefully into his embrace breathing his scent deeply as it calmed me.

Our moment was ruined when we heard a loud gurgling cut through the air. Everyone snapped their heads towards Seth who put his head down in embarisment until Bree landed on his head hooting happily.

I laughed taking my backpack off and grabbing the food from inside "I take it it's time to eat then?" I asked only to get a bunch of barks in agreement. I walked over to the grill I saw on the deck turning it on as I placed the steaks to the side. "How do steaks sound to everyone?" I asked getting the same answer as I smiled.

I felt a paw on my leg and looked down to see the pups all sitting in front of me, "shoot! I forgot to get something for you guys." I say to them as I turn to my pack, "hey could one of you boys go bag a deer for the Pups and Niki?" I ask turning to see Seth, Paul and Bree, head into the forest with a bark of conformation, "Thank you!" I shout to them as they disappear into the tree line.

I turn back to the grill that was heated up now putting on the numerous steaks, I turned to char "hey Char do you mind looking through the kitchen for some plates and silverware we can use?" I smile towards her. "Sure thing Suga." She says pecking Peter on the lips before disappearing inside.

Arms snake around my waist as I'm pulled into my mate's chest. "how ya doin' Darlin?" he asks burying his nose in the crook of my neck. "Stressed and worried." I say truthfully "how are they?" I ask thinking of the sisters.

"Well from what I can tell their emotions have evened out, but other than that I don't know." He says calmly pulling me closer as I flip the steaks. Peter walks over to us then "Alex is just explaining everything you told her to Molly, they will be up in a few, don't worry all will be fine" he said with a sly grin. That fucker was hiding something from me and I didn't like it one bit.

"I swear to god Peter if you don't tell me this instant what you are hiding I will kick your ass from here to Mexico!" I hiss at him my patience running thin. "Don't worry so much 'thena, all in due course." He said before walking away over to char who was setting up the picnic tables for everyone to sit at.

Just then I heard the tentive footsteps coming from the house, "How nice for you to join us. How are you two feeling?" I say as I flip the steaks again, they were almost done.

"Better thank you Bella." Alex says quietly as the pack look over to them. I turn around smiling as I plate the Steaks. "Glad to hear it" I say as I walk over to char who takes a plate from me.

I hear the pounding of paws come closer knowing it was the guys who went hunting for a deer. They broke through the trees a deer slung across Seth's back as Bree held it in place making sure it didn't fall. Paul came out after them shifting quickly and pulling the deer off of Seth's back and over his shoulders after he put on some shorts. "Where do you want it Boss?" he asked me as he made his way over to us. I pointed to a tree a few yards away from the picnic table. "Over there Paul, Thanks you guys" I said as I watched the wolves' crowd around Paul's feet wanting the deer. He set it down as I turned to the sisters, "how about everyone goes to clean up then we can make introductions over diner?" I say everyone goes and shifts back to human, coming out of the forest dressed again, they head over to a hose and rinse off their hands before heading over to the table.

Once everyone is settled in I start to make the introductions "alright everyone this is Alex and Molly, Alex and Molly this is the pack, starting from my right hand side you have my daughter Eliza and her Mate Leah, then her Brother Seth and his mate, My daughter, Bree, Angela and Paul, then Jessica and Brady, then his brother Collin and Eric then the Whitlock's Peter and Charlotte and my mate Jasper. I say pointing to each as they nod or wave to the sisters. As I finish I see that they are staring, Alex at Eric and Molly at Collin. I turn to peter to see a smirk on his face. "You sneaky bastard." I glare at him making him laugh, breaking the staring contest. "Well then congratulations and welcome to the pack!" I say causing the sisters to frown but for the rest of us to celebrate. As the pack explains to them what happens I turn to Jasper, "what do you think our chance are of having that luck?" I ask curious on his take on things. "Well Darlin' I'm just glad everyone is happy." He says bringing me closer to him as he kissed my temple. "I think we should figure out where we are going to set up base, we probably will have to build it I mean there are 16 of us, that's a lot of people for one house." I said thinking. "We could build a manor for us, talk to everyone hash out all the details." He smiled down at me "plus I think Paul and Angela were working on something to do with a symbol or a tattoo of some kind." He said as he looked over at the pair.

"Oh yeah thanks for reminding me!" Angela said standing up from the table getting everyone's attention "Paul and I were talking about how in the lapush pack they had a tattoo that symbolized their status in the pack," she began pointing to the tattoo on Paul's left hand shoulder. "So I was thinking why don't we create something we can tattoo for our pack?" she said causing whispering to breakout among us.

I sat thinking it would be a good idea to have a symbol for the pack, did we want something that everyone could see or did we want something a little more secretive?

"Any ideas?" I asked the group. Paul stood up then, "I was thinking something that tied us all together, you know, wolves, cats, birds and Vampires all in one, here let me sketch it out." He said grabbing a sheet of paper from a bag and a pencil.

He worked quietly while I continued talking, "assuming everyone still wants to be a part of the pack, we have to get moving find a place hidden from the volturi and settle down make plans, figure out everything to do with us. Peter do you know if anyone else has powers other than Bree and Angela?" I asked turning to him, he thought for a minute before nodding and standing up gaining everyone's attention.

"Bree as you know has a shield, but actually has three, a mental, a physical, and one where she can leave it in someone's mind protecting thoughts and plans from outside influences. Angela's is a bit more complicated, she can track people by their mind waves, but she can also attach that brain wave of a person and put it into an object where she would then be able to track the people on a map, which I have to say is very impressive. But she can also see if she is concentrating hard enough, the immediate surroundings of that person, and the best part is that she doesn't need to meet the person to be able to find them. Eric has the power of technology, in other words he knows how to work anything mechanical or otherwise, which means he is a great hacker and engineer, he just knows how to work those kinds of things, computers, engines, radar or otherwise. Bella you have a great understanding in weapons and how to use them or anything else that could be used as a weapon, which means you are a great instinctual fighter even in hand to hand. The other four all can control an element, Eliza can control the weather, Jessica can control the earth/ plants, Alex can control flames, and Molly can control water/ice. Then there are the pups, which is surprising, since they are a quarter human they will be able to communicate in the pack mind as well as run as fast as the shifters and be stronger than regular wolves. That is all I have so far but I'd say it's a good start." He grinned at everyone. We all looked over to the pups and Niki who were all looking towards me interestingly enough it was like they could tell I was the leader of the pack.

Paul took that moment to stand up with his sketch in his hands "first off I want to say that this sketch isn't the final it is just a rough draft I would be glad to take suggestions for ideas. I did have my own tattoo place on the reservation but Jacob didn't want me to get any other tats besides his pack symbol, which I can remove if you guys want, but I'm keeping mine for a reminder of that scumbag and of my history." He explained to us looking at me for the ok, I nodded, it was his body and I knew I had his loyalty to this pack. He continued showing us the sketch, it had a tribal look to it, it was a sizable tattoo going down the right arm of his sketch it had a swilling pattern that looked to be a mix of the sun and the moon. Then below that it looked like the eyes of a feline, then the eyes of an owl, then on the forearm he had something similar to a wolf's muzzle or face. I liked it imeadietly. He went on to explain the meanings behind the symbols.

"Starting from the top I designed something that was a mix between a sun and a moon, to symbolize vampires and werewolves." He gestured to the Whitlock's then to me, "the next if to symbolize the cats," he waved to Angela and Jessica, "then the birds," he pointed to Bree and Eric, "then to the wolves for the last one. What do you guys think?" he asked looking around, it was quiet for a second before we all broke out into cheers and applause.

"Ok love it I do have a suggestion though" I said as everyone settled down, "do we want a motto for our pack you know some kind of phrase that can go with us?" I asked liking the idea.

"What about Deum Belli?" Jasper suggested making everyone get confused as to the meaning, sensing our emotions he continued, "It means Gods of War, and I was thinking since a few of us have second personalities it would be fitting, because their names are Ares, Athena, Eris and Nike. The gods known with either apart of war causing wars." He explained everyone was silent until Seth spoke up "I like it, it's fitting, plus it will make people think twice about messing with the Pack!" Seth exclaimed causing the rest of us to cheer in agreement.

With that inside I moved to the next order of business "ok so where should we go to build our house? And start planning?" I ask looking around the table for suggestions.

Peter stood up again "my knower is telling me we should move further into the wilderness of Canada that way the volturi won't find us and they won't know our numbers, that way we can go through with training scheming and planning." He explained there were nods around the table.

"we also need to get transport and we need to figure out how to earn money because I have a feeling you guys will want all the best there is to have." I said smiling at everyone. Eric raised his hand "I can start making investments in the stock market and hacking other places" he offered I nodded "good I have some money from the Cullen's that we can start with, but please don't get caught hacking anywhere because I really don't want us to be on the radar for stealing money, Got it? No illegal things that will lead back to us be thorough, no evidence, like Lisbeth Salander*, no trace." I said feeling he got the idea. Alright everyone that sleeps get to bed we have a long day tomorrow and we are leaving at sunrise to get transport and move further into the wilderness got it? Chop chop" I say gesturing the shifters inside were they lay down on the couch or the chairs around the cabin.

When everyone is settled down I walk over to Jasper throwing my arms around his neck bringing him into a kiss, sighing as I lean into him enjoying his touch as his arms wrap around my waist. "We have a long way to go." I say to him. He smiles resting his chin on my head, "we'll get there darlin' and everyone will be just fine." He said calming my nerves as his fingers go up and down my back.

A long way indeed.
