The second time Tom 'visited' the Mind Healers, his Mum took him. He was clinging to his new bear, and did not like all these people. Not one bit. They were loud, and stared, and smelled strange. He wanted to go home.
The strange people made his head hurt, and he cried. His Mum was not happy about that. She got angry. And he knew his Mum being angry meant someone was in trouble.
On the way home, his Mum promised that they would never hurt him again, and held him tightly.
