Ok so you all won't believe what I've been going thru lately. All this school and social media work has just been overpowering me so much and it just doesn't seem to want to end anytime soon. But I still made time to produce this story just for you girls. I just love u all to pieces, and I hope you all enjoy this little chapter I put together for your amusement.
Jo pov
After the whole talent show thing was a huge success things were starting to go a bit easier. Thanks to us the orphanage was getting more noticed and now almost all the sweet kids had new loving homes, the boys also wrote us a little letter about their new family. I was so happy for them all. I got my cast taken off too and now I could do all the things I did before, my life was back on track.
One afternoon on what seemed like the hottest dayin all recorded history I was with my family in the living room. Juliet was fanning herself, Joelle was standing by the fan and I was dipping my toes into ice water. What I would do for some rain right now.
"God why is it so hot today?" I cried getting overheated.
"How long will this heat wave last!"
"They said until next week!" Juliet moaned fanning herself.
"Uh Kill me now!" I bang mt head on the sofa arm.
Dad came walking over with a white v-neck shirt and sport shorts on, you could see the sweat stains on him but he didn't seem all that bothered by it.
"Good afternoon girls...Juliet you look hot!" Dad snickered.
Juliet looked at him "Not in the mood for word play Jokes!"
"Ok Judy no need to be so Moody!"
"Dad I'm so hot!" I whined.
"So am I but the A.C broke down so I have to run out later to find parts to fix it and that may take some time!"
"Why not just call the professionals?!" Juliet suggests.
"Those guys are rip-offs I can fix that thing like that!" He snaps his fingers.
"Ugh! I'm so hot I feel my purple melting off" she wiped her head but nothing. "Nevermind"
"I'm heading to find A.C parts you three be !" He leaves us alone.
Juliet stood up and sighed "Well girls It looks like you're going to have to find a way to keep cool today!" Juliet said walking upstairs.
Joelle and I groaned hard "What are we suppose to do? we'll die from the heat if we try doing something!"
"Oh I'm dying right now!"
"Hello!"
"Jojo!"
"Holly hey I haven't heard from you in a week!"
"Yeah sorry I've been busy but are you home?"
"Yes it's too hot for me to go anywhere!"
"I feel you but come outside I want to show you something"
"You're here?!"
"Yes now come outside me and Willa are waiting!" She hung up right after that.
Curios I had to see what all the fuss was about "I'm running outside to see the girls for a second"
"I'll go too!" Joelle jumped up following me outside. I felt my skin burning from the hot sun but I just kept walking on.
In the alley I found them "Willa!" I cried running to her arms.
"JoJo!" Willa ran up to me.
"Hey Joelle!"
"Hello!"
"I haven't seen you since the talent show!"
"Sorry I've been busy!" Willa smiles
"Meanwhile I have had no one interesting to be with all week!"
"What about me?" Joelle asked.
I like look back to Willa "like I said no one" we both share a giggle.
"But we have surprise to show you?"
"We?" She nods in response.
"Take a look!"
A car horn sounded and riding up to us was a shiny dark blue Toyota. The window rolled down revealing the driver.
"Hey Jo check it out" Holly smirked.
I was at a loss for words "No way that's so cool" I smiled inspecting it.
"My Parents got it for me last week and now I'm going to take it to the beach you coming?"
"Sure?"
"Can I go?" Joelle asked.
"Sure sis!" I pat her head "Just let us change to beach attire" I take Joelle back inside as we run upstairs to change.
Joelle taps my shoulder as we head up "What if Dad comes back and find us gone?"
"I'll just tell him we were at the movies" I say.
We walk into our room closet to find our swim wear. I picked out my lime green bikini swimsuit and sandals that tie around the ankles and covered it up with my white tank top and shorts and Jo had on her one piece blue stripped swimsuit and wrapped in her towel to cover up in.
I grab my sunglasses a wide beach hat with the pink ribbon and race back out with Joelle. The girls all piled Into the car as Holly drove up.
"Seashore beach here we come!" We all cheer as she puts them pedal to the metal.
The wind brush up through my hair and the sun tanned my body. This was going to be a fine day just me and my girls.
"How's about a little music up in here?!" Willa smiled
"I thought you'd never ask!" She turned up the music and it was like my birthday party all over again.

I hopped off the plane at L.A.X.

When we stopped at a light riggt before the beach turn, we really got turnt up.

CRASH
A car smashed the back of us hard. Joelle held onto me until the shaking stopped but the damage was already done.
"Oh man!" Holly said getting out of her car to see the damage. It did look in bad shape "Oh man my dad's gonna kill me"
"Maybe he won't notice it" Willa said
"I don't know last looks pretty bad" Joelle says.
I looked up as the car driver that rammed got out of his car. I walked from my friends over to him "Hey Buddy!" I snap tapping his shoulders, He turns around and...
"Jo!" He smiles
"Nicholas!" I smiled
"Hey!" He hugs me.
"Hey" Ibhugged him back
"Sorry I didn't know I'd hit you! I wasn't paying much attention on my phone"
"Not a smart thing to talk and drive"
"I see that now!"
"But I guess there was also a little blame on our side too" I said making him smile
He looked to the hood of his car "This looks bad?"
"So does my friends" I point.
Holly walks over to me and Nicholas "My car's not too bad but it's not good either" she says
"Holly this is Nick he's a friend of mine!" I introduce them.
Nick takes her hand smiling "Nice to meet you Holly!"
"You're the car driving idiot who plowed my car?" she eyed with a grin.
"That's me!" He laughed and so did we.
"Well both our cars are in need of minor repair!"
"But there's no need to press charges is there?" He asks her
"No! I suppose not, It was an accident and no one was hurt thank goodness" We all had a good laugh
"But hey I feel bad what if I just pay for both repairs?" Nick offers.
"Really thanks!" Holly smiled
"So what are you doing at the beach?" I ask.
"I came here to ride the waves, the waters perfect for some wave riding?" He said like and 80's surfer boy making me laugh.
"You surf?"
He nods happily "My uncle's into surfing and he taught me and my sister when I was little...he had to do something when he babysat me!" We both have a laugh
"I've always wanted to learn to surf?"
"I could teach you if you want?"
"Sure that'd be great but I don't have a surfboard!"
"I've got another in my truck, use to belong to my sister but ever since she got crippled she doesn't...use it anymore" He sighed
I frowned "Oh I'm sorry to hear that"
"It's cool we've both learn to accept it!" He frowned and stayed quiet for a moment.
I follow by him to his car he pulled out a long black and green surfboard and a smaller pink and White board for me. We all walked over to the beach, it was pretty packed with everyone struggle to be there. We maneuvered our way through crowds and found a nice spaced out area. We laid out our blankets and beach chairs out and Joelle set up the umbrella for us.
"Now this is more like it!" I sighed placing my shades up.
"Well I am ready to hit some waves" Nick said taking his board. "Feel free to see observe the master ladies"
He rips off his shirt as his toned muscular biceps bathed in the sunlight giving off a golden glow. Obviously all us girls stated at his hotness but I was the only one drooling over him. He picked up his board and races towards the water.
I snap out of my trance "Know I see why he's on the school swim team!" I mumble to myself.
He paddles himself far out to see as did some other surfers and the waves started to roll in. At first they were small but started growing up to tidal wave length and they got more violence against each other. Almost everyone on the beach was cheering one on. Nick was killing out there with all those flips and spins and jumps, he looked absolutely breathtaking out there
"He looks pretty good out there!"
"He does he really does!" I smile.
We cheered him in as he rode his last wave back to land. He was soaked but looked cute either way.
"Wow that was amazing. You really know how to surf" I compliment.
"Years of practice!" He boasts.
I feel a ball rolling on my foot and I pick it up. It was a volleyball.
"Excuse us!" I turn seeing a group of teens "Mind tossing the ball back"
"Sure!" I serve it back their way as it hit the other side of the net.
"Nice serve! You guys wanna play a round?"
I look to them "What do you all think?"
"I'm in"
"Me too!"
"I could go for a game or two"
"Looks like we're in!" We took our places in the sand as the other team served us the ball.
"I got it!" I hit it behind me.
"It's mine" Holly served it back over scoring the point for us.
"Nice job Holly!"
We serve this time as the other team hit back. "It's mine!" Joelle and I bump into the other costing us that point.
"That point belongs to us" They cheer.
I help Joelle to her feet sighing.
"Come on girls let's show them how to play" Nick smirks.
After that we were playing with a whole new attitude. We scored more than the other team did but they were bouncing back fast. It was a while till the game was tied all it came down to was this last serve.
We hit the ball back over but they retaliated with a hit back and scored on us winning the game.
"That's game!" They cried.
"You guys are good" Nick says
"So are you guys. We should play again sometime" They all walked off and so did we.
"I don't know about you guys but, All that excitement got me hungry!" Joelle heads off on her own to grab a snack.
So now it was just Nick and I and the girls just...
"OMG!" Willa's shreik scared us all.
"What?" I asked thinking she was hurt.
"What's up girl?"
"Holly cute boys alert!" She points over to two hot boys who were listening to the radio on full blast.
"Score I'm rIght behInd you!" Both of them made way.
And then there were two.
"Just you and me again" Nick says smiling
"How often that's occurring now?" I joke but really mean it.
"Jo I was thinking if you wanted me to show you how to surf then..
"Sure I'd like that" I smiled.
He takes his board and the one he gave me and we paddle out to the water where the waves were found.
"OK first things first; you gotta get a good stance on your board. Stand up" I tried to but the water made it so wobbly and my legs were wet.
"This is hard" He holds my arms.
"Keep your arms out" I hold myself still.
"I got it"
"Now keep that stance" he pushed me forward but I slipped and fell into the water. I resurface gasping.
Nick came by pull me back on my board "Almost" he says.
Another few minutes and I got the hang of it and the feel of it. "OK now to go faster you lean forward and to steer tilt left or right but not too far or too fast. You could fall and hurt yourself"
"Got it" I said with confidence.
A wave pulled in behind us it wasn't too big but it still gave me a nervous jump. "Don't worry I'll be there with you" he taps my shoulder.
I smile wide as he helped guide me through the wave. I could feel it sweeping me up high above the water and carried me across the way. For my first wave that was easy.
"Not bad!" Nick smirked "let's see what you can do against the big one!"
A huge wave came behind us carrying us high over the beach almost to the sky. This was like a water ride but I was all alone to coach myself.
"Step by step Jo" I stood firm on my board as I propelled down towards the water. I lean over to steer just as Nick told me and I felt totally in control of myself. I felt a rush of adrenaline and my heart was pumping fast.
"I'm doing it I'm really doing it!"
"I'll say you are!" Nick came flashing by me kicking water in my face. I wasn't complaining he was the best surfer I knew more/less the only suffer I knew.
The wave rolled in on us, Nick instantly got on board leaving me in the dust.I took my first step up trying to catch my balance and then I dropped down skimming the rising waters. I got splashed and rocked about but I had never felt so good in my life. This was more fun than I ever could've imagined.
"Looking good hot stuff!" Nick swirved right past me catching the waves like a champion.
He caught air and beamed against the sunlight, I lost my focus when I saw his body bronze against the daylight.
"JO WATCH IT!"
Before I knew what was happening the wave was closing around on me. I couldn't surf fast enough to escape but it didn't matter when I fell off my board plunging into raging waves.
"HELP! NICK! ANYONE!" I surfaced back up trying to scream but the great pressure of the wave collapsing back down dragged me under and I lost consciousness as it beat against my head. I noticed a dark figure blob before I completely zoned out.
...
"Jo...Jo can you hear me?" I open my eyes and I see Nick there standing over me, looking worried.
I sat upright but my head was killing me. Felt like I had just been hassled by a stone wall. Nick pushed me back down concerned. He dabs a wet cloth on me that colled me down some.
"Are you alright?" He helped me sit upright as I rub my aching head.
"What happened?"
"You wiped out!"
"I did?"
"Big time!"
My head was killing me and I felt very dizzy.
"Yeah...It waa the most radical thing I ever!" He smiled.
I roll my eyes smiling.A while later we walked outside back onto the golden sand. My eyes stung frim the sun it took a moment for me to adjust.
Nick was supporting me all the way "Are you sure you're ok?"
"Fine just a bit wobbly" I said trying to hold myself up.
We walked together across the beach to our spot. Both surfboards were out there but the one I had was ripped at the top. Nick was right whrn he said I wiped big time.
"Jo there you are!"
"We have been searching for you everywhere!"
"Sorry Nick and I were just..." I try to think of an excuse so they wouldn't worry.
"Talking" He finishes for me.
"Sis there you are" Joelle came running in the sand towards us.
"Joelle you got mustard on your chin" I laughed wiping it off.
"Mum just called we are gonna be so grounded if we don't get home!"
"Fine Fine we can go!" I say. The girls both wined.
"Wwwwwwww!"
"So much for our day at the beach!"
"You girls can stay here Joelle and I can catch a bus"
"Unacceptable! I can't allow you girls to go alone. I will gladly drive you home!" Nick bows offering.
"Oh you don't have too do that!"
"I insist" He cuts me off.
"Don't you wanna ride more waves?" I ask hoping to change his mind.
"I can come back. You two need a ride home now!"
Joelle Interupts "Boy I'll say hurry up sis"
We gather up our things and towels shaking off all the sand. I put my shades on and gave the girls hugs goodbye.
"Bye JoJo!"
"Call you later"
"Bye girls!"
I grab all my stuff and the three of us get inside Nick's car. Joelle takes the backseat and I take front right beside Nick. He gets in and pulls up his shades and opens up the sunroof.
"Comfy ladies?" He asks looking at his mirrors "We're about to take a drive"
He pulls off the curb in a zoom pace merging with the fast moving traffic. For a while we rode letting the wind brush my hair.
"How's about a little music" He reached down and turned up the radio

As we rode Nick took one hand off the wheel spreading out over my seat with his fingers gently bristling my shoulers. I felt my breath stick to my throat I forget to breath out. To take my mind off him I hummed to the song as it went on but I guess Nick heard me when he turned the volume up.

It wasn't long before he pulled up to the garden "Your house madames!" He parks the car.
"That was fast!" I grin
"You can get anywhere if you know how to drive car like it's meant to be driven!" He smirks.
"She sure is a speed demon!"
"Makes for a great night...if you know what I mean" He whispers and I got crazy flustered.
"Nicholas you are the best" Joelle hugs him from behind.
"Any time little Jo!" He pats her arm as she jumps out.
"I'll be right there sis!" I yell befoe she vanished inside.
There was a small pause between us "Some day huh?"
"One of my better. But you are good at surfing"
"Not really" I deny
"No really, other than that intense wipeout you had, for a first timer it was great!"
"Thanks!"
"Maybe next time I can show you more"
"Sure you could!" I smiled.
"Well I better get inside now" I reach for the handle ready to pull out.
I felt his hand grip my wrist "Wait Jo before you go..."
I look back to him and he leaned out and kissed me. I was shocked and very confused. I wanted to pull away but I just wanted to kiss him a lot more. All my feelings for him before flew away this just felt so right now.
He finally let me go as I just sat there feeling a breeze past by my lips.
"That was nice"
"Whoa!" I help my lips still feeling some of his spit on mine.
"Jo..." I was still los in a trance.
"Sorry I did that I just wanted to so badly and..."
I cut him off when I kissed him back.
I reach for the handle and slowly pull out of his car. I never wanted to leave that kiss but I had too.
"Wow!"
"That was..."
"Nice" I finished.
"Very nice!" He smirked. "You're a good kisser"
My cheeks got a whole new color "So are you"
"Well maybe I'll catch you later!" I turn around before he put a hand on my shoulder.
"Jo I like you like crazy like you! I just want to be close to you all the time, please go out with me?!"
I look away not trying to see his eyes "Nick..."
He cuts me off saying "Jo just have one date that's all I ask and I will not bother you again"
I was about to turn him down, but looking deep into those eyes of his I couldn't find the nerve for it. I held my tongue before I spit it out.
"What time do you want to meet up?"
"You free Saturday?"
"Yes!"
"I'll get you by noon?"
I smiled and then whispered to him "It's a date!"
"I look forward to it. Until then mi amor!" He kissed my cheek before driving off leaving dust in the air but I didn't care.
I came running in and shut the door behind me.I had red on my cheeks I could feel it. I walk to the kitchen anf grab a cold soda from the freezer.
Joelle burst .in the room "Finally what took you so long?"
"I was saying bye to Nick" I say leaning on the counter.
"Did you enjoy the kiss?" She asks.
I coughed up the soda in my mouth as it got me into a chocking fit. I wiped my face looking back at her. She had a wide smirk on her face.
"Excuse me?" I say trying to act normal.
"Don't deny Jo I saw you out there. You too really seemed to be love exploring each others spit"
"Shut up wasn't like that!"
"I wonder how Dad will feel about that?" Oh-no if she told Dad I was in deep water for sure.
The front door opens up and I heard a deep voice.
"Girls I'm back!" I hear dad and I feel my throat close up.
"Love is that you?"
"Yes Juliet!"
"Speaking of which..." She smirked widely. I was in big trouble if he ever found out.
"Girls!" Dad calls us.
"Coming!"
I grab Joelle by the shirt "Don't. Say. A word!" I warn her she gave a small grin and nod.
I push her aside walking to the living room where Dad was holding a large bag of materials.
"Hi Daddy"
"Sorry I was gone so long I was hell at the hardware store" He sets the bags down wiping sweat off his face.
"I hope you girls kept cool while I was out!"
Joelle and I look to each other "We found a way" we started giggling.
"Love could you come here please"
"I'll be with your mother if you girls need me" Dad goes with Juliet.
"And I'm going to see my Spencer ta-ta sis!" Joelle takes her purse and goes.
I head back to my room and find a message on my phone.

My face got red when I read his message I quickly replied back to him and we spent the next hour texting back and forth. I was actually look forward to Saturday and our big date.
