WELCOME BACK TO THIS STORY! It feels like a while since but I've been so busy with school and planning this school trip we're taking soon. So like always I'll leave the reading to my girls.

Jo POV
The main city bus pulled up to the stop as I jumped off wearing a green blouse and Capri's with flat sandals. Downtown was pretty busy and crowded but had some of the best centers for shopping. But I was here to meet someone who was running very late. I sat at a café table anxiously waiting for half an hour. I pick up my phone and call him up.
"Nick I'm here where are you? It's not nice to keep a lady waiting!" I yell through the phone.
"Relax babe I'll be there!" He sighs.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I see a cute guy wearing black shades smile at me.
"Oh there you are" I stand up to hug him.
"Miss me?" He asks
"Maybe a bit"
"Well I missed you more" He comes holding me close. I couldn't help blushing at him.
""So ready for our date?"
"That depends; where you taking me?"
"Somewhere fun!" He grabs my arm and pulls me to his car.
We drive for about half an hour humming to songs on the radio. Nick parks the car and then blindfolded me, guiding me along.
"Where are we?"
"You'll see in a moment my sweet!" He says holding my shoulders as hr guides me along.
"Here we are" He uncovered my eyes for me to see we were standing outside the aquarium.
"Ooohh I love going to the aquarium!"
"Me too!"
We walk inside. It's been a while since I was here and nothing looked the same as I remember. The aquarium had a few upgrades over the years.
We spent the whole afternoon walking around, viewing all the sea life that I found so fascinating. We grabbed lunch at the little sea shore shack and just began having a nice conversation.
"More champagne?" He jokes holding a bottle of sparkling water.
"Of course." I laugh.
After lunch we went to watch the water show they were having all afternoon. We got front seats where the audience get splashback and we got drenched in water and entertaining. We left just before window hand in hand.
"This is so nice. I can't imagine a better way to spend our first date!" I lean over him smiling.
"I can think of a better way!" We get into the car and he drives us far away. I fell asleep during the smooth ride and when I woke up, it was pitch black outside.
"Nick?" I yawn.
"Here we are!" He smiled.
We were parked atop a cliff-side that overlooked the ocean and land below. We were all alone up here in the cool night.
"What are we doing here?"
He got out the car and I followed him, walking in the cool autumn air.
"Remember how you told me you loved romantic scenarios?" He says and I nod.
"Well how romantic do you find this?"
"Nick...its so lovely up here!"
"That's why I brought us up here"
"I couldn't have asked for anything better!"
"Tonight was so lovely!"
"And only one more thing to make it perfect!"
"What's that?"
"This!" He leaned over and kissed me hard. I was shocked and happy, I return the kiss back wrapping around his arms.
We started at each other kissing once more.
"Oh that was perfect!" I flirt.
"Jo I have never been more happy than I am right now with you!" He holds my chin up smiling at me.
"I feel the same way!"
"This was our first official date and I want so many more"
"Me too!"
"So does that mean you'll finally go out with me?" He asked.
I didn't even hesitate answering.
"Yes!"
He got so excited he kisses me again before letting me get out of his car. "Goodnight Girlfriend"
"Call me Boyfriend!" I blow him another kiss and he drives off honking goodbye.
When I came home, the lights were out. I crept in trying not to disturb anyone sleeping. The lights flicker on suddenly.
"Well well well..." My Dad came up to me with crossed arms.
"Look who finally decided to come home tonight!"
"Oh boy!" I whisper getting annoyed.
"Care to tell us where your were?"
"Out."
"Out?"
"Doing stuff"
"Stuff?"
"Nothing bad if that's what your thinking"
"Jo might I remind you that you are not allowed to stay out past 11!"
"And might I remind you I'm old enough to take care of myself!"
"Don't sass me!"
"Will you stop acting like you control my life. I can do whatever I want!" I rush upstairs to my room. Not long after I got a call from my man and we spent a while phone chatting.
Gnomeo POV
Jo was really up to something. Staying out late all the time acting out of the ordinary. What was she up too.
"Oh what am I going to do with that girl?"
"Might I suggest boarding school"
"Joelle!" Juliet snaps.
"Geeze I'm just kidding"
"Maybe we should send you there sweetie?" I smirk joking.
"Hahaha good one Dad!" Joelle pokes me but I don't laugh back.
"You're joking right Dad?" She asks.
"Maybe?" I shrug sounding serious.
"Mum!"
"Time for bed!"
Jo POV
For the past few weeks Nick and I have been spending so much time together going on so many dates. Nick knew all the best spots to be alone and have fun. My Dad was getting a bit suspicious about my behavior lately but I kept it cool so he wouldn't be suspicious.
I was lying around the house when my phone starts to ring.
"Jo speaking!"
"Hey Nicky" I giggle.
"I'm home trying to work my way through this paper!" He could relate to that.
"Yeah don't get me started on that!"
"I don't know when I wanna go out again, did you have a day?"
"Yeah too busy I understand"
"Maybe I'll call you back later. I love you" I hang up the phone and finish up my Homework.
I started to get hungry for a snack. The second I open the door my Dad was standing there.
"Hi Dad?" I smile.
"Who do you love?" He asks.
"Pardon?"
"Don't play with me I heard everything you said in there" Uh oh I was busted. Play it cool Jo.
"Wow! Eavesdrop much! " I walk past him.
"I eavesdrop to see what others are doing. So what's all this your doing?"
"Nothing!"
"Jo! Just tell me the truth!"
"There's nothing to tell!" I say getting annoyed.
"Then why are you avoiding it?"
"Avoiding what?" I reach for a soda pop.
Dad stands in my way "Jo!?"
"Ugh what do you want from me Dad?"
"Answers."
I set down my drink "Fine. Nicholas is a senior boy from school who happens to be my partner in a play rehearsal we're doing for school drama class .What you heard me talking to him about over the phone were lines we were reciting for our scenario, he's not my boyfriend. Happy now." I was good at lying and even better at acting.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
"Ok but I'm keeping a close watch on you?"
"Dad relax Nick is just a friend of mine and that's it, end of story!" I
"And I should just take your word for that?"
"Yes!" take my drink and leave.
"We're not done talking about this?"
"Whatever!" I called.
I walk back upstairs and Joelle jumps right in my face "You. Big. Liar!"
"Where did you even come from?" I say.
"I heard everything you said. You lied right to Dad's face!"
"And?"
"Why didn't you tell him the truth!"
"Because it's none of his business and none of yours either!"
"You should have told him"
"Why are you so interested in sticking your nose in my business?"
"Cause that's what sister's do. They stick their noses into their big sisters business"
I roll my eyes hard "Well stick your nose into something else"
She gives me a smile "Fine." She turns around and walks away.
"Daddy!"
"Joelle come back here!" I chase after her through the house "If you tell anyone I'll kill you!"
"You have to catch me first!" She sprints outside into the garden but I pin her down just as she stepped out.
We began wrestling in the dirt, she was stronger than she looked, but I finally got her down in the mud.
"Get off of me!"
"No!"
"Your twisting my arm!"
I pull her arm a bit harder "Are you going to keep your mouth shut?"
"Yes. I Promise!" She cried. I let her go and wipe the mud off my knees.
"You're mean!" She whines.
"Crybaby!" I mock.
"Girls!" I see Juliet walk up towards us.
"Hi mum!" Joelle holds her waist.
"Why are you two all dirty?"
"We were mud wrestling!" I say.
"You girls and your childish antics" She smiled "Joelle your father needs your help in the shed"
Joelle runs that way leaving just the two of us. "So you wanna tell me the real reason?" She smirks at me.
"Real reason?"
"While I was inside the phone rang and this nice young boy called asking on you" She smirked.
"Oh. How Nice"
"Care to explain?"
"Uh well?"
"Jo I know what you're going through. I know you're dating this boy behind your Dad's back. I've been there before"
"Am I doing the right thing?"
"As long as you keep it a secret Gnomeo will never know."
"No I meant with dating. I like Nick and I want to be with him, but I still can't help having doubt's about our relationship."
"How long have you been together?"
"Close to a month or so."
"Well I can tell you one thing; if you loved him you'd be happy with him, no matter what"

A few days later I was having Holly over to work on our science project together. We put a lot of work into this and it was finally finished.
"We're bound to win first place in the science Fair!" Holly smiled.
"I hope so we put a lot of work in this!" I smiled.
Holly's phone went off and she excused herself for a moment. While I was looking over our work the doorbell rings.
I open it and Nick was there. "Nick!" I grin hugging him.
"Hey doll face what's up?" He kissed my cheek.
"What are you doing here?"
"Can't a guy see his girl once in a while?" He says letting himself in.
I giggle "I suppose" I let him inside and he takes a seat on the couch.
"Sorry about all the paper, Holly and I are working on a project"
Holly comes up to me grinning "Hey Nick"
"Drama queen!"
"Very funny!" She smirks.
"Jo I have to go. A family emergency just came up" she starts gathering her things.
"Oh dear is something wrong?"
"Hopefully not yet but I need to get home in case stuff goes down"
"We can finish this up after school next week"
"Ok. Bye!" She leaves as it was just Nick and I.
"Where's Jo junior?" He joke and I roll my eyes.
"She went to run errands with our parents. They won't be home for a while!"
Nick starts to inspect my house "You play video games?"
"With Joelle. I love Assassinations"
"Me too, wanna try to beat me?"
I smirked "Bring it!"
We spent two hours battling with each other and i loved every moment of it.
"Thats game"
"Who won?"
"Hmmm let's call it a draw for now!"
"You're just afraid I beat you right?"
I scoff "In your dreams loser" I punch him and he pushed me to the floor.
We rolled on the floor until I was on top of him and he was at my waist. I stared at his brown eyes and he brushed my hair back.
"Hmmm such soft cheeks" he whispered.
"You want a closer look?" I flirt.
He smirked at me "Yes please!" I leaned over kissing him as he did to me. It started out simple and change into a bit more forceful. He rolled me over so now he was on top and we got deeper into kissing. Each moment seemed to be more intense.
"WHOA!"
I finally part to breath just gazing at him. "That was delicious" he smiles.
"Not as delicious as you" I smirked.
"You know what else would be delicious if you and I got a bit more...
"AHEM!"
My Dad, sister and Juliet were there with shocked faces. We quickly stood up looking pretty embarrassed.
"Rehearsal for a play?" Dad asked eyeing me more.
"I wasn't expecting you all back so soon" I whispered.
"Apparently not!" There was a long silent pause.
"Jo who's your handsome friend?" Juliet grins.
"And afterwards introduce me to your sweet sister" He winks making Juliet blush.
"Everyone this is Nicholas...My, friend!"
"Boyfriend!" He corrects.
"Nicky this is my stepmother, Juliet and my Dad."
"Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Bluebury!"
"You too Nick!" Juliet said warmly.
"Indeed" Dad says still glaring at me.
"So what were you two doing before we got here?"
"Dad!" I mumbled embarrassed.
"We were just talking for a while!" I tell him.
A phone rings and vibrates.
"Oh I have to take this, excuse me!" Nick turns away whispering on his phone.
"So Jojo who's your new beau?"
"Shut up Joelle"
"No I think Joelle is making an excellent point" Dad steps up.
"Daddy..."
"Why were you trying to hide this from me?"
"Cause you meddle in my life too much!"
"That's what good fathers do!"
"Not!"
"You still had no right to lie to me like that"
"Unless I had a good reason" I say.
"Oh right!"
"I'm serious Dad you are so overprotective of me!"
"It's because I care too much"
"Yeah too much!" I mumble.
"Still I will have none of this with you!"
"You don't even know Nick"
"And why do you suppose that is?"
"Love calm down. Nick seems like a very nice boy"
"He is he's really cool with everyone at school" Joelle says.
"See Daddy!"
"Oh well if you're sure"
Nick comes back from his phone calk looking at me with a smile.
"I have to go now" He tells me.
"Why?"
"My mum called: I need to drive my sister to her doctors appointment" He kissed my cheek before heading to the door.
"Ok!"
"I'll come back later" he whispered.
I smiled "I'll walk you out" I sa y taking his arm.
We walk out together and I still was having thoughts of before. Dad was looking at us from the window but I wasn't trying to get him off my mind yet.
"Something on your mind babe?"
"Its just my Dad. He was getting a bit suspicious of me and you dating"
"Oh you have one of those Dad's?" He laughs.
"Yeah"
"I understand, my Dad is like that with my sister sometimes"
"Not the way mine is I'm sure" I whisper.
He takes my hands a bit tighter and smiles to me with reassurance. I lean over his arm smiling back.
He gets into his car and turns up the radio. Then I got an idea.
"Nicky do you have Plans this Sunday?"
"I do have swimming tryouts that afternoon why?"
"I was wondering... Would you like to come over for dinner?"
"Dinner? With your family? I'd love to!"
I smiled and kiss him hard before he makes me leave him.
"I'll call you later JoJo" he rolls up his window smiling and drives off.
"Bye!" I wace as he goes away.
This is perfect. When he comes over for dinner, my dad will finally have a reason to stop with all babying me. I just hope everything went well.
