Jo pov I woke up with cramps in my arms and legs and an empty feeling inside, and it wasn't just from hunger. The sun was high and here I was sleeping in a box beside the alley like a homeless street vender. I pick up my briefcase and start walking. I passed by the café but I didn't have enough for a meal.
A few more blocks down and I came across one the fancy mansions that I knew belonged to the only one I knew would help me now. I walked up the stairs and was a little hesitant to ring the bell, I sucked it up and ring and Nick answers.
"Jo what are you doing here?" He seemed so surprised. "And what happened to you?"
"Oh Nicholas" I couldn't stop crying it was all just too pain "It was awful. truly awful"
"I felt him wrap his arms around me, embracing me in his comfort "Shhh it's alright Jo, it's alright" He takes me by the hand and walks me inside to the couch.
"What happened?" He asked wiping my face dry. "Tell me everything"
I told him everything that happened and by the end I was on my third box of tissues.
"Jo I'm sorry you had to leave because of me"
"I left because of my Dad, he won't let me be with you but he can't control me anymore I love you and I want you in my life"
"I fell the same way"
"But now of course I do need a place to stay" I give those big sad eyes.
He smiles "You can stay here, my folks won't mind"
"I was hoping you'd say that" I hug him.
We walk through his Mansion and find his mother in the parlor room.
"Mum can I talk to you?"
She looks up from her book and stands up. "Is everything alright?" She asked concerned.
I told her about everything and why I was here. She totally understand my situation.
"Jo I am so sorry for what happened. I feel so awful about it"
"Me too"
"You can stay here as long as you want"
"Thank you so much" I smiled.
"Here I'll show you to the guest room" We walk upstairs and he shows me the extra room. It was big and comfy and very rich in taste.
"How beautiful" I gasp.
Nick sets my suitcase down on the bed. "And the best thing; My room is right next door. I'll be able to see you anytime of the day or night" He holds me in his arms.
I let out a giggle. " So long as you don't try and watch me sleep or shower"
"Can I?" He said. I give him a hard slap. "Okay then"
"Are you going to be okay?"
"I'm fine. I just need to clear my head and I'll be alright"
"I'll leave you to get settled" he kissed me and left. "And Jo..."
I turn to him. "Don't worry I'm sure everything will work out" He closes the door.
While I had the time I start to unpack my suitcase. This room was so empty without all my stuff but just because I was playing it safe, I only unpacked my small things; Makeup, Jewelry, Books and the family photo taken when I first moved in with my Dad. I set it down and sighed heavily.
I wonder if they even know I'm gone.
Gnomeo pov
I seriously thought I was having a nightmare when Joelle barged into my room this morning and told me that Jo was missing. Her bed was empty, like she hadn't even slept in it and her clothes were not in her closet, half her room was as bare as when she moved in. My first instinct was not to panic until I knew for sure it was not a problem. I called my mum to see if Jo was over in the main garden, she wasn't.
After that I tried the school, Holly and Willa's houses and all the other places Jo usually went to. But not a single one had seen any sign of her.
Joelle taps my shoulders lightly "Is it time to panic now?"
"Big time!"
~15 minutes later~
Police Gomes were linked up all outside the garden. Inspecting every nook and cranny in sight
"Now can you tell what happened exactly?" The cops asked. I stood up from my seat huffing.
"I already told you; My daughter woke me up and told me her sister was gone. Her bed was empty and her closet was too" I explain for like the fiftieth time already.
"Anything else?" He says
"That's all I know"
"What about your daughter?" He asked looking at her.
"All I know is when I woke up she was gone and her stuff was too" Joelle explained.
The cops stayed around for quite a while, interrogating and inspecting all over the place. Juliet walks in holding a tin tray.
"Cup of tea?"
"Not now Juliet!" I was too distracted and concerned to drink. "I just feel so bad for letting this happen"
She sets the tea down leaning against me "No my love you shouldn't blame yourself, these things happen!"
"Don't worry we'll find your missing daughter as soon as possible" The chief of police says with a straight face.
"Please do!"
"Thanks you so much officers!"
Mat the end of the day, I was still racking over in my mind how I let such a thing happen.
"It's all my fault!"
"No it's not"
I shake my head with guilt "I got her so upset with me and now she could be out there somewhere, who knows what could be happening to her or what she could be doing!"
"You were only trying to be a good father"
"Some dad I turn out to be" I sighed.
I went to far over my boundaries and now it was too late to fix it!
Jo pov Later that night at dinner Nicks whe family was sitting around the grand table for a real feast, literally. The food was nonstop and made of all my favorite meats and desserts.
"The food is very good"
"Thank my mum, she has the magic touch when it comes to cooking"
She giggled. "Now Honey, no more bragging"
"Dad I have a question?" Nick sister, Sasha asked.
"Yes Dear?"
"If Nick can have his girlfriend live here then why can't my Boyfriend stay here?" We all started to get a good laugh at that.
"Okay two things. 1) Never in a million years will I let your boyfriend live here with you!"
Nick laughed. "Tough luck Sis"
She glared and sticks her tongue out.
"2). Jo just needs to have some time apart from her family"
"Why?"
"It's personal..."
"Can't be any more personal than what you told me?" Katherine says cutting her steak.
Nick started to get a bit nervous looking at his mother."Was it true?"
"What honey?"
"About what Jo Dad said about you and Dad, When you were both my age?"
She looked as nervous as she did. Probably not ready to talk about it but she could see it meant a lot to him.
"Dear your father and I really weren't all that perfect growing up. We did things, mistakes happened and we can only take responsibility for what we did. But as time went by we changed and we knew for the sake of our future and yours, we would put our past behind us."
"It was the right thing to do for you and your sister"
"The good things is..Neither of you made the same mistakes we made. You're both such great kids."
"I wish someone would tell me Dad about that" I whisper.
Nick noticed how down I looked so he holds my hand to comfort me. We share a smile and continue with dinner.
Juliet pov
After the hustle and bustle today it was not easy to focus on anything but the family drama and where it was going to end. At the end of the day I cleaned up the rest of the garden until the stars came out. I was doing the dishes when I noticed it was getting late.
"Okay Joelle it's bedtime" I look all around and there was no sign of her anywhere. I look in the garden and there she was sitting on the stone wall slanging in the moonlight. I climb up to her without startling her.
"Time for bed sweetheart" I say in a calm voice. She lowered her head and I could hear soft whimpers coming from her.
I sit beside her holding her in my arms "Oh Honey" she clings to my waist crying more audibly.
"I miss my sister" she wails.
"I know. We do too"
"I'm worried mum what if something happens to her or she never comes back".
"Don't be afraid everything will be okay". I wipe her tears away.
"Come on, you need to rest now"
I take her to bed and tuck her in the way she liked it. She was still upset and there was only so much I could do to comfort her.
"Sleep tight. I love you" I say heading out.
"Mum will you sing to me?"
I grin "Sure"

She was sound asleep in her dreams with a grin on her face. I kiss her forehead getting a smile out of her.
"Sleep well my darling" I leave and head to my own room.
I take a hot shower and change into my black night gown and robe and matching slippers. I find Gnomeo in his night pants and shirt, walking around in circles. I walk over and give him a firm grip on the rear. He smiled at me the same way I do when he does that, then I head over to bed.
"You should get some sleep"
"It's going to be hard for me to sleep at all tonight" he sets on the edge looking bluer than usual.
I crawl to him holding his shoulders "Come now. The police said they would find her as soon as possible"
"Those deadbeats couldn't find a needle in a haystack" He flops down in bed sighing.
"Have a little faith" I sit beside him rubbing his arms. He smiled at me.
"I just want to know if she's alright"
"I'm sure she is. She's not helpless baby she can take care of herself"
"Still..."
I turn him over facing me. I gave him that sympathetic look and he gave me a weak smile. He brushes my cheeks and I give him a gentle and warm kiss.
"Try and get some sleep, this will all be much clearer in the morning"
He sighed "You always know just what to say"
I smile and hold his hand "That's what a good wife does" I smirk.
He moved closer to me "You're much more than a good wife" he grabbed my waist, kissing me and tickling me.
I laugh right in his face "You Goofball!" I flirt. He turns out the lights kissing me and holding me as we slept the night away.
Jo pov
I always liked to read a magazine before bed, it was hard to explain but reading before bed gave me the happiest dreams as opposed to television which gave me crazy nightmare of no relation whatsoever. Just as I was at the climax a gentle knock was heard.
"Come in!" Nicholas let himself inside with a small plate.
"Warm milk and cookies my lady?" He walks to my bed smiling. I set my book down smiling back as he offers the tray.
"Thank you" I take a cup of milk and a cookie.
"I just came to say goodnight to you" he holds my waist in his arms.
"Goodnight to you too" I let out a sigh. If only it was a good night. Nick was in my arms and I was looking very down.
He noticed my frowns and sighs. "Something wrong?"
"You could say that" I mumbled.
"Hey! I know you're going through a rough patch but if I know one thing; things have a way of working out. Sooner than you think"
"Thanks but I'm not sure if this is one of those things"
"Trust me, it is" he gave me a long kiss wrapping around each other for a brief moment. He let me loose and walked out blowing me a goodnight kiss.
"Goodnight"
"Sleep tight"
"Dream of bedbugs tonight" he laughed.
I roll my eyes and turn out my nightstand lamp. Tomorrow was going to be another day.
I was use to waking up to the sounds of alarm clocks, my sister snoring and even the occasional sounds of my parents 'private times'. This time I woke up to the most unusual sounds of all.
"GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY! GET THE MOLASSES OUT OF YOUR BUTTS AND GET TO STEPPING!"
I jump out of bed and look into the halls like everyone else. Some old guy in his bathrobes was yelling and banging on the doors waking everyone up.
"Move your caboose little lady" he shouts in my ear walking around.
Nick marches out in his boxers and tank top. Even with messy bed head he was adorable.
"What is happening?" I yawned.
"My uncle. That's how he wakes up everyone every morning" Nick chuckles and then sighs hard. "Every morning" he sighs.
"Ugh Brady give it a rest already!" Nick' Dad, Artie says.
"Don't talk back to me. I didn't raise you to be no back talking sucker!"
"You didn't raise me period!"
"The hell I didn't!"
I walk beside Nick giving a weird look. "Another day in paradise"
"Is it?"
He sighs "No. And it never will be" I giggle and give him a kiss on the cheek.
We has a rush hour morning. Everyone had to do everything at once before heading to school and work.
"Nicholas! You should be on the bus stop!"
"I'm waiting for Jo"
I came bulletin down the steps. "Sorry I had to find my purse"
We waited at the bus stop for a while until it finally pulled up. Nick sat with his friends and I took my usual seat with my girls.
"JoJo where have you been lately? We haven't heard from you in a while"
"I've been busy!" I lied.
"Too busy for your own best friends"
I laugh. "Never will I be to busy for you girls"
The bus pulled out in the school parking lot as we all pile out. The final days of school were right around the corner and all the seniors were getting the last case of Senioritis out of their systems.
The three of us took the cut through the auditorium to avoid the usual hallway jams.
"In a few weeks we'll be walking across that stage for the final time" Willa starts sobbing.
"I've already got my summer plans. A month in The tropics surrounded by hot hunks" Holly sighs.
"Not bad. I'm heading out to study abroad in Europe at my dream college"
"Way to go Willa. We should totally throw you a farewell party before you go"
"Any plans for you JoJo?"
I think for a minute "I was just thinking of sticking around and Getting a Job to pay for my dream of traveling around the world"
"Nice"
We reach the end of the hallway. "It will be. Just a few weeks of school and finals and projects before my life officially begins" I smile "And with the guy I love no less" I grin even more.
"Pretty soon it will be me and my tender, loving..."
"JO!" I turn around the minute I hear that voice.
"Joelle?!" I was filled with happiness and fear. I hadn't seen her in three days what was she going to say.
"JO!" She ran to me and gripped me "I finally found you. I miss you so much"
"I've missed you too!"
"Wow! You two act as if you haven't seen the other in years" Holly joked.
I look at them and Joelle still hugging my waist. I take her off smiling nervously.
"Holl Willa if you two don't mind. I need a sister moment" They head off to class while I pull my sister aside in private.
Neither of us knew what to say right then, but then she beat me to it.
"Why would you leave like that?"
"I couldn't take it anymore Dad was driving me crazy"
"You don't know how angry he is with you right now"
"Let him be angry I don't care"
"Jo Dad misses you, you have to come home"
"Come home? I can't,I won't!"
"Why not?"
"You wouldn't understand"
"What wouldn't I understand?"
"You just wouldn't. I need to do this for me, so I won't be so miserable"
"But what about me I'm miserable without you"
"I just can't Joelle, you just don't understand" I cross my arms and turn away from her.
"I do understand" Joelle stood up and sighed "I understand you just don't love me anymore, if Nick's really all you need then I wish you both the best" I didn't even need to look to know she left me alone after that. At that moment my heart ripped open a little and it was a pain I had hoped to never cause anyone.
"Joelle" I whispered to myself, I had lost my sister now too I had lost everything. I dropped to my knees crying.
I wiped my tears and noticed a hand reaching out for mine. He looks at me and I look at the ground.
"You saw that didn't you?"
he nods. "Only all of it" he pulled me to my feet but the heartache only got worse.
"Oh what have I done. My Dads mad at me, my sister probably hates me now. I'm so unhappy right now!" He pulls me in his arms cradling me over his shoulders.
"Jo I can't help but feel you should go home"
I go wide eyed when he said that "WHAT?!"
"Just go back home and end this heartbreak"
"NO!"
"Yes!" He snaps back "Jo I know you're feeling mad but you need to go home"
"Why?! So my Dad can yell at me and treat me like a little girl, a little girl, by the way, he's never even been there for!" I snapped getting madder
"He thinks he knows me, what's best for my life but he doesn't he knows nothing of my life or what it was like for me growing up. He's never known me from when I was little and he doesn't know me now!"
"Oh I think I see what this is?"
"What?"
"You're just upset with your dad because he hasn't been in your life"
"What?"
"Well he knows about your sister a lot more than he knows about you. You're just not use to having a father around and that's why you've been so upset with him"
"That's stupid!" I tell him "He treats me like a baby and I'm a grown woman now!"
"That's the trouble your sisters still a teenager and your dad's use to handling a teenage daughter. He's not use to having a grown up daughter in his life just as you're not use to having a father in your life" He continues on "You both are still getting use to each other that's why your relationship is not as it should be"
"That doesn't explain why's he freaking about me and you thought" I say with sarcasm
"Jo does your sister get asked out a lot?"
"More than I've been!?" I said a bit jealous
"And does your Dad act weird when it comes to guys with his daughter?"
"All the time!"
"Because she's a teenager"
"But I'm not a teenager anymore. I'm an adult and I can take care of myself"
"Like I said he's not use to having a grown daughter so he's just handling you the only way he handles your teenager sister, because it's the only parenting method he's use to!"
"Wow...That does make a lot of scene" I sighed
"And I guess I am just upset because I've just never had a dad in my life until now and I don't know how to deal with a dad's over-protectiveness"
"My dad just doesn't treat me like the women I am"
If it were up to me...I'd treat you like a women!" He whispers I smile and lean my head to his shoulders
"I feel so much better around you, you get me!"
The bell rings and the hallway fills. Another day of school was over and only so many more to go. I meet the girls again right before they caught the school bus home. I could see Joelle in the middle seat leaning toward the window. I wave to her but she turns away. I retreated back into my slump as I watch the bus pull away and let's another car get in its place.
"Wanna go out for a drive?" Nick pulled down his shades smirking at me.
"Sure where?"
"You'll know when we get there" We cruise the streets like a young couple in love, which we were so it worked.
when we finally stopped we were at the parking lot right across from the beach. The sand, the fresh sea, the hot sun and the cool air.
"I took the liberty of packing a basket"
I give him a look "Did you plan for this"
"I expect the unexpected" he takes my hand and lead me into the grass. There was a huge open field between the beach and the lot and it was beautiful. We find a nice spot on the stone wall separating the sand and We had a nice little afternoon lunch and then took a short rest in the grass.
We walked along the stone wall laughing and smiling every minute. For a while we looked at all the boats sailing out or some of the people playing at the shore.
I look over at Nicholas and the smirking he gave me "Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Watch out!" He grabs me and pushes me forwards sending both of us rolling down the hill ripping up grass. I screamed with joy as we toppled over one another
"I'm getting dizzy!" I shriek as we kept rolling. We roll right over the top of the stone wall and drop into the sandy beach. I got up brushing off grass and sand and Nick was still there laughing.
"I can't believe you did that!" I laugh tossing sand in his face.
He got up looking at me "You weren't complaining when it was happening" He tossed sand into my face now.
"Well thanks to you I'm full of sand"
"The ocean's right there go wash it all away" He points to a whole landscape of water.
"I'll get my hair wet"
He shrugged "Fine then, go home with a butt full of sand and itchy swollen skin" he hits me on the back.
I roll my eyes and walk over there, the water was cold but slightly refreshing. I took off my dress and stripped to my bra and knickers and jumped into the water cold and wet. I dipped my dress in to get rid of the sand and laid it on a rock to dry and retreated back to the water.
For a moment I just floated there looking into the sun as seagulls squealed by and a few boats sailed in the far distance. I ducked my head under and began to swim in the undersea world it was so beautiful and mystical, I felt like a mermaid in water. I popped back up and looked to the beach but I didn't see Nicholas anymore.
"Nick?" I shout not seeing him. He probably went to go get the car ready to go.
I go back to the water just lying there until I feel something grip my leg and pull me down. A shriek let out before I went under with my leg caught on something I looked down and saw a hand gripping my legs and the body that hand belonged too. He waved at me I gave him a small frown and kicked my free leg at him, he let me go as we resurfaced.
"Wow what was that for?" He snapped holding his eye where I kicked
"I should ask you the same thing"
"I was just messing with you"
"You scared me" I splash water in his face.
"Hey!" He splashed me back and then the water fight began.
We were having such a great time together we almost didn't even notice the beach was starting to clear roared and the world turned dark and grey. Wind was getting stronger and more violent. Rain started to shower down as the beach cleared off.
"We need to find shelter!"
"There!" A little hut was just up the sand dunes. We swam for shore, grabbed our clothes and ran for it.
"Quick inside here" He raced me into a small hut as locked us in tight.
"Safe at last" I took deep long breaths. Nicholas turned on the light to see better this little hut had a bathroom in the other room, a radio, mini fridge and a large hammock pillow and blankets.
We sat down on the hammock as I squeezed my hair dry, as well as the rest of my body. Nicholas sat beside me as I leaned on his arms smiling at each other.
Thunder roared again as Lighting lit the sky, the rain was coming down hard this was one storm "Looks like we're gonna be here a while" He sighed.
"Possibly all night" I sighed back looking at the ceiling.
"But hey at least we're together" He smiled and I smiled back. He walks over and turns on the radio so we could get some noise in here. The news says the storm was going to be all night so we were trapped there, but by morning it was gonna be nice and hot again. There wasn't much to do in here but sit and wait the storm out.
"Man I wish we had something to eat I'm starving" I rub my stomach.
"Hey look here's something" Nick pulled out a cooler from underneath the bed.
Inside the cooler were a few drinks, still cold, some wrapped sandwiches and chips "Jackpot!" He said as we both started snacking.
It must have been hours since we were stuck in there. The sun was down and I could only hear the sound of the rain beating on the roof.
"There is absolutely nothing to do!"
"I wish I hadn't left my laptop at home"
"Me too! I can't even call Willa without Phone signal, and it's not strong enough in this rain"
"No technology. Must have been hard for our grandparents to survive at our age" We both share a laugh at that.
"We still have a radio. Let's listen to some music" We change the station and found the perfect station.
"I love this song!"
"So do I" he says.

Once we stopped dancing and Nicholas was still pressed against my half-naked, we just stared at each other breathless and quiet.
"Oh my gosh" I said still looking at him
"I think...I think I might be..." He paused and just kept looking at me, but I had a feeling I knew what he wanted to say and I wanted to say it too.
"I'm in love with you" We say at once making it official. I smiled at him and he smiled at me.
Before I knew it we were both kissing each other hard and passionately yet violently. I wrapped around his neck and he did my waist stroking my bare legs a few times as I rubbed on his soft hair and chest. I had never been so in love with him like how I was at this very moment, he made me feel special and he treated me like a women and not just a child like my dad always would, with Nick I fell I can be my own self.
As we kept kissing I jumped into his arms as he lifts me off the ground and lays me down gently in the hammock and joins me resting on top of me gently and steadily. I kept my hands around his neck as his kisses went down every part of my body from my neck to my stomach to my legs and back to my lips again.
"Jo I..."
I placed my hands on his lips "No let me say something first...I want you to do something for me"
"Anything?"
"Nick I love you, and remember how you said you'd treat me like a women?"

I looked away and just came right out with it "Well I want that...I want you to make me feel like a real women right here right now" I was more begging with him to take me and make me his.
He seemed pleased with that as a smile showed up in his face "As you wish" He agrees "I'll make you mine forever and always"
He pressed on me harder kissing me and going down to my neck as I smiled with pleasure by his touch. I began playing with the top of his head and then I felt the top half of my body get a cool feeling near my chest, I looked and saw my bra was off Nick had it twisted in his hands and then tossed it on the floor still kissing my neck. He looked up from me smiling.
"You're so beautiful" He smiled deeply looking at me.
"You're the first boy who's ever been this loving to me!" I whisopered in his ears.
"And hopefully the only one who does!" He smiled kissing my forehead.
"I love you so much" I said breathing hard on his shoulders.
"Not as much as I love you right now!" He said breathing just as hard and heavy as I did.
He held me closer in his arms kissing my chest and neck. It made me tickle with glee. He pulls the blankets but I hold his hands stoping him.
"Don't bother. We won't need the blankets" I flirt with him.
He smirked back and went back to holding and hugging me. That whole night was magical. We started making out for a while until we really got into it.
we went all the way, he kissed all over my body down to her neck, i loved hearing how we made those sexy moans together. He nuzzles up my neck and moved down to my breasts and gave them the attention they deserve which made me even more happy. I moan out of his name a few times. He moved to kiss my stomach which i tickled a little and it felt good, but not as good as when he slowly moved down to my inner legs and really went for it!
I scream out in pleasure so many times and hold on to the hammock netting as tightly as I could. He really Pushed himself into me and I claw at his back. We got harder and losing ourselves into each-other! This night turned out a lot better than i expected.

He was amazing at what he was doing and i didn't want it to stop even if he was a bit out of control.I clawed on his back hard and flipped us over so i could be on top! I think he enjoyed it as much as i did. he held onto my waist and moved me around and i loved every minute of it. The burning sensation lasted until he said he was close as was I. We went faster and harder and deeper until we came. I moved off him and we were both sweating and and panting for breath.
We were both thinking of how amazing that was. "Wow!" We say at once.
"Did we really just do that?"
"Yeah..we really did"
"And...it was fantastic!" He says with final breath.
I cuddle up next to him feeling both satisfied and dreary. "Goodnight Jo" he kisses my forehead.
"Goodnight" I say remaining snuggled up against him.
After this night I had a feeling things were gonna change for me. For the better.
