This is going to be a super special chatpter, because it is the last chapter. Yes I know what yyou're all thinking. I just ended two other stories and now I'm ending another one. But like always I leave you all with a memorable experience. PENNY this one is for you and you Too Mickey. You girls have always been there for me. Jo pov
There was somewhat of a standoff between the three of us. I was freaking out on the inside and I could tell Nick was feeling my nervousness by the way he grabbed my arm. I couldn't tell by the way my dad was looking if he was happy to see me or ready to scream his head off. But I was about to get my answer when he said.
"Jo what are you doing here? " He said with a low tone.
"Well I came here to...well I just wanted to say" Before I could get another word in Joelle and Juliet came out.
"Jo what are you doing here?" Juliet wonders.
"That's a good question" he was still glaring.
I take a breath to relax, it was now or never "Dad I know you're probably pretty upset with me..."
"You guessed right!"
"But I would really like to just talk this out and put it to rest once and for all" I plead.
Dad didn't really see the need for a discussion because we all knew what was going to go down if he was to get leveled off with someone.
Juliet grabs his shoulders, loiking at him sweetly "Darling" She said in a calm voice.
We all went inside and sat around the table. Nick was at my side the whole time while Dad was just glaring and eyeing us back and forth, like a ping pong ball.
"Jo before anything happens I just need to know; Why'd you run away like that? You had me scared half to death!"
"I know and I'm sorry but you were coming between Nick and I and I couldn't deal with that"
"I was only trying to keep you safe"
"And I love you for it but I don't need protection because I really love Nick"
He was shocked to hear that but not too shocked. "You do?"
I nod. Nick tried to speak up this time "I understand that you might think I'm a bad person because of what my parents did before. I am not like that and I really love your daughter, like a lot"
"Daddy I don't blame you for having doubts but if you knew how much I love him you'd understand"
"Could you excuse me" Dad stands up and walks intothe dining room.
The rest of us all just stand there with concerned and questionable expressions.
Gnomeo pov
Juliet and Joelle come up to me "Gnomeo what's wrong?"
"Juliet I'm just having mixed feelings about this."
"I get you have concerns, but this is her choice"
"Yeah Daddy, Nick is one of the coolest boys in school and he's so sweet and considerate. Plus have you seen his hair" Joelle smiles.
Juliet touched my arms "Perhaps if you got to know him better it would ease your conscious"
"Maybe"
I look back in the the living room. Jo and Nick were snuggled up close together talking and being happy. The more I think about it, I haven't been entirely fair to Jo recently. She could make her own decisions.
"Look at that, young love. Just like when we were their age" Juliet rests herself up on me.
"If you really love Jo then you'd give him a chance to prove himself to be the type of man she should be with"
"You always know what to say" I kiss her head before I go back out to the living room.
"Wow I hope he doesn't do this with my next boyfriend" Joelle smiles
Juliet touched her daughters shoulders "Oh he will honey, but you better not run away" They both share a laugh.
Jo pov
Nick and I had been waiting patiently on the couch just trying to compensate for whatever happens next "They sure are taking their time in there"
My Dad is probably thinking of some way to chew me out"
"Have a little faith in your Dad"
I take his hands in mine. "No matter what, I'll never stop loving you"
"Nor I you" he was about to kiss me when I heard footsteps and my dad comes back. We still there like nothing happens.
"Before anything else I just wanna say. Jo, I'm sorry"
"Come again" I was surprised.
"I shouldn't have been so demanding and pushy with you. You're 18 now and you can live your own life"
I smile. I think my Dad was finally starting to see things my way. "Thank you Daddy. I don't blame you for wanting to protect me, just don't go overboard with it"
" I can see just how much this means to you and I want nothing more than for you to be happy"
"So than I can still date?"
"You're a big girl now you can make your own decisions"
"Oh thank you Daddy!" I run up and give him a big hug and he hugs back.
"However I have just one condition"
"What?"
"That you'll come back home"
I smile and nod "Deal!" We go back to hugging.
"I love you so much"
"Me too!"
He looks at Nick, still sitting on the couch "You take good care of her"
"I promise" Nicks saays. I leave Dads embrace as he gives the two of us some privacy.
Nick wrapped his hands around me and me to his neck "Well this story's wrapping up nicely"
"Now we can finally be together" We share a kiss. Things were finally looking up.
A week later...My running team was just arrived at our competition meet. It was the final track meet of the season and all we had to do was win regional and we could be in first place for the whole season. My sister and some of the lower classes were in the bleachers rooting for the home team. The one thing I hated about these meets, they took too much time out of my schedule but it was worth it. Willa and I were on the green having a quick workout before our race came up.
"Ready for this JoJo?" Willa asked doing knee crunches.
I was busy doing calf stretches, feeling the burn. "I've been ready. Those morning runs are going to pay off"
"They already have" She mentions to my assets and I blush.
"Runners to your marks!" The referee said as we lined up side by side. He shots the gun and I started out curving it a a pace, gradually catching speed every so often. I could here my sister and teammates cheering me on as I passed by them on the bleachers and out in the field. Willa stuck by my side for most of the time picking up the pace now and then.
"Here it is Jo final lap, let's move it!" I push it into high gear, a fast run three-fourths of the way around and finally an all out sprint to the finish line. It was coming in sight& my heart was beating like never before. I cross over towards the finish line and I finally see it.
Nick was standing there in my lane with a bouquets of various colored rose and a message.
RACE WITH ME TO PROM and it was written in Red hearts and glitter.
I ran right past the finish line and into his arms as I could hear some people standing by clapping for me. Oh Nick you're the sweetest thing ever"
"I know" he gloats.
The night of Prom had finally come, the one day I could be surrounded with my friends and party till my hearts content. But mostly I would be spending this moment with my man.
I was getting fitted in my dress, it was brown and slender fitting in my body and the straps holding it together were bathed in silver studs. The length cut off below my knees where the bottom fanned out a bit for the leg movement. The back was a longer tail than the front with glitter bits and to finish the outfit; my sexy silver ankle boots. My hair was up in a messy stylish bun with a few loose strands and my pink blush and lipstick.
I hear the door open and Nick came in with his nice tailored suit "Knock knock is there a lovely lady here ready to be escorted to a night of paradise"
"You know I am" I smirk grabbing his hands as he leads me down the steps and into the living room where my family was waiting. They all look as we walk down the stairs hand in hand.
"You two look so adorable" Joelle smiles saying "I hope I look as good as you for my prom"
"Okay you two, smile" Juliet smiles getting ready to take a picture.
"Wait one more thing" Nick pulls out a corsage and pins it onto my shoulder strap.
I smile as we pose for our pictures. "Such a lovely couple"
My watch went off, time for us to go "Are you ready?"
"As I'll ever be!" I get my purse and jacket as we head out into the dusk light.
"You two have a great night" Dad says as we walk out.
We get into his car and drive to the high school. The gym was redecorated with lights and a disco ball and everything. There was even a chocolate fountain as high as the basketball nets. The theme was under the sea so everything was light and dark blue and green with a water feature effects to make it look as if we were actually underwater.
I barely had a minuet to enjoy the scenery before "JO!" Holly and Willa were running to my side.
"GIRLS!" We embrace in our girl hugs.
Willa was wearing a mint green dress with frilly sleeves and Holly was wearing a black dress that covered down to her feet.
"You're both looking good"
"So are you! But what else is new"
Nick comes up with a tray of sodas "Would you girls like some drinks?"
We all giggle and take one. "Such a gentleman"
"We have to go Jo but I'll catch up with you later" they say making themselves scarce.
I wave "Bye girls. Come on Nick let's dance" I grab him as we mix with the dozens of others on the dance floor.
"OKAY now who's ready to show off their stuff with this mix" The DJ plays a fast song as everyone gets down.

"Now is time to announce the Prom Court. The votes are in and your Prince and Princess are...Jo Bluebery and Nick Waterfront!"
"Oh this is such an honor!" I said into the mic. "You guys are the best and I love you all!"
"Yeah! This night is going to rock it!" Nick says as everyone applauded.
Nick and I went back to the dance floor as we Pranced around in each other's arms. There were so many others around us but it just felt like it was the two of us, as if we were the only things that mattered right now.
He leads me out into the school yard as we walk across the football field towards the bleachers. We sat there for a moment with the night air blowing back my blond curls.
"Should we go back inside now?"
"Not yet! I want to give you something first" He pulls out of his vest pocket a beautiful silver ring with a small sapphire diamond. I covered my mouth to hold my gasps, thinking this was what I had always dreamed of.
"Nick I..."
"It's a promise ring. Just to let you know what soon might be, if you want" I knew what he means and my response then and later was unanimous.
"Of course I do. I'd like nothing more, but in the future I mean" I smile accepting.
He slides it on my finger and we engage into another long a passionate kiss. "This has been the most wonderful time of my life with you"
"And many more to come I guarantee"
And he was right...

Gnomeo, Juliet and Joelle were walking through the Auditorium doors of the Belmont High school. Gnomeo had on a black vest and long white shirt. Juliet was wearing her red dress with the frilly sleeves and heels and Joelle was wearing a black, white and purple dress with flat shoes. They take their seats in the front row of the aisles as more fill up the aisle and chairs.
Backstage the Seniors were all saying their final farewells and getting out their final emotional moments. Their fancy clothes were hidden underneath their green and white robes.
Holly, Willa and Jo were standing in the corner. They each had on bright makeup and new hair styles.
"Well I guess this is it?"
Yeah, after today it's all going to be over. " I sigh "To think we spent all four years of High school together"
"I'm not ready to say goodbye to you girls yet. You're my best friends
"We still have the trip to San Diego and the rest of the summer to be together.
"One summer out of the rest of our lives. It won't be the same" We all have one more emotional hug.
Nick walks up to the trio dressed in his cap and gown. Holly and Willa excuse themselves, knowing that this is going to to be an emotional thing.
"Hey"
"Hey. I just came by to see you one last time" I frown. Nick was going to study abroad after graduation and I wouldn't be seeing him for months.
"Big day for us. No more school, now we're off to pursue Careers."
"Yeah, we'renotlittle kids anymore. Time to lead our own lives."
"If only we had more time together" I frown. Nick pulls my chin up to kiss me.
"One day, we'll have all the time in the world" He grabbed my waist kissing me with more passion than ever before.
"Alright young people! It's showtime!" Everyone takes their place as the adutorium goes quiet. The music starts playing as we all take our places on stage. I could see my family in the front row smiling and tearing up. The Vice Principal steps up to open the ceremony, followed by the Dean, the Principal and the Valedictorian.
It was time to pass our the diplomas. Most of the kids cry as they were handed their diplomas and sit down we all have ours and share one last speech.
I give you the graduating class of 2015" We all toss our caps in the air and vheers . The photographer snap photos and we all cheer.
Everyone else was heading to the Gym for the after party. My family all got lost in the crowd. Nick and I were on our way thete when he suddenly pulls me aside.
"What are you doing?"
Jo lets not kid ourselves. I'm going to be leaving soon and I want this to be a memorable moment, not just for me but for you two.
And by memorable you mean?"
He kisses me hard against the wall as I kiss him back. He picks me up by the legs and I wrap my arms and legs around him. This continues on for several more seconds before he puts me down.
I give him a smirk "I see where you're going with this now, but where would we even have our 'moment '" I laugh.
"You know that little lounge room inside the pottery room." He whispered in my ears.
"That sounds perfect" I flirty playing with his hat tassel.
"Then follow me" He takes my hands as I laugh the whole way there. We lock the door and from then on my world was turned upside down.
7 years later. ...
"Yeah Joelle my new apartment is great. I wish you could see it"
"Yes I know it's far from home but I'll see you again for the holidays. Okay well I gotta go now, talk later. Tell Daddy I love him, bye" I hang up the phone.
The moving trucks were bringing in all my things for my new 4 bedroom house. With two bathrooms. It was a big life change but I needed a fresh start and the first step was living on my own. The movers brought in my stuff load by load.
There was a knock on the door "Come in"
"Hey Pretty lady" Nick greets me with a rose in his hand.
"What are you doing here?" I walk over for a hug.
"I was just in the neighborhood and I wanted to see your new place"
"Yeah just right for me. Lots of space for company"
"Or raise a family" He laughed but was also serious.
I nod "In time"
"So can we talk?"
Can it wait because I really need to start setting up where all my furniture goes and. ..
He takes my hand. "Please this is important" the look in his eyes says he was going to say something serious. I rest down near my comforter as he speaks.
"Jo. I can no longer ignore this little voice in my head telling me what to do anymore" He grabbed my hands and get on one knee.
I'm just going to come right out with it and say" He pulls out a silver band with a diamond. "Willyou marry me? "
"YES!" I cheer and jump into his arms. "I thought you'dnever ask"
A few months later we were planning our wedding. I wanted something simple and traditional and Nick was glad to do it my way. The happiest day of my life was turning even happier when I broke the news to Nick and everyone that I was going to have our first child. Nick was overjoyed to be a father and I knew he would be fantastic.
It was hard to think how much had happened to me. I gained a husband and child and a wonderful life surrounded by the ones I loved the most. Nick and I spent endless time together and all the free time we could manage. I would do anything for my love and he would do it right back.
From that moment on everything in my life was right.
