After countless minutes of searching (yes, minutes they weren't too far), we eventually we found Jasmine with that man that attacked us with the Heartless from before. They were standing in front of the castle doors talking as if there weren't people looking for them. I was beginning to wonder if that man was Jafar, you know the guy Jasmine said controlled Agrabah. Without thinking of a strategy at all, Sora jumped down from our position on a second story building; Donald, Aladdin, and Goofy following right after him. I'll be a trooper and tough it out where I am.
Fortunately they hadn't noticed the three boys standing just one or two feet behind him. "Setting your sights a little high, aren't you, boy?" The man asked as he turned around. Remember when I said he didn't notice them? Yeah I take that back now. I slapped a hand over my mouth to stifle my laughter; he sounded like a dying horse. "Back to your hole, street rat. I will not allow you to trouble the princess any more."
"I'm so sorry, Aladdin." Jasmine apologized, giving us a look that pretty much said she that she didn't mean for this to happen. What exactly was she apologizing for anyway? I looked over at Aladdin to see him rubbing the Genie's lamp behind his back as discreetly as he could; which wasn't a lot. He was going to use his second wish to save her? Aww, that's so sweet- I mean... was he seriously about to waste his wishes like that? "Genie, help Jasmine, please!" He whispered as the familiar blue and pink smoke shot out of the lamp.
"One wish left! You're making this really easy, you know." Genie said, suddenly appearing behind the man who I assume is Jafar. He was surprising holding Jasmine in his arms as he levitated off the ground. Wow, it must not take long for him to work his magic.
"So sorry, boy. I'm afraid your second wish has been denied." The old dude chuckled, his eyes growing wide as a crocked smirk spread across his long face. A red bird, a parrot I'm guessing, flew onto his shoulder clutching something in his claws before dropping it into his awaiting hands. Trying not to fall off the edge of the building, I tried to get a closer look at the item. It was Genie's lamp! How'd he get it so fast?!
"I'm sorry, Al." Genie sighed, disappearing back into the pot in a swarm of pink and purple smoke. Jasmine dropped from his now invisible arms and into a burgundy colored pot that was below them; the pot growing spider-like legs and crawling away.
"And now, I bid you all farewell. Attack!" The old guy shouted before leaving the area faster than we could register what just happened.
The pots scattered around Agrabah seemed to have sprouted legs and were beginning to attack just as he instructed them to. To make matters worse, a caterpillar-looking Heartless came out of nowhere and gathered the pots to make its body. "F**k..." I murmured to myself, hopping down from my hidden spot. This was one of the only times I let a foul word slip out of my mouth but with this situation, I say the use of it was pretty valid. "Donald, Goofy, take out the pots so it won't regenerate its body. Sora, Aladdin, and I will go for the head."
The animals nodded their head before summoning their weapons and attacking. Aladdin must not have been used to fighting because he randomly began swinging his curved sword at the monster but he really used his muscles to his advantage. He had went for the pot containing Jasmine but the head swung its antennas, almost whipping him with it. Luckily, the Arabian boy moved out of the way.
The sky got darker as Donald used his thunder magic; the lightning taking out three of the four of the ten pots. Only six more left. I wasn't worried about that, though. Sora and I were too busy hitting the head of the Heartless.
After about almost nine minutes of fighting and dodging, my arm was starting to grow tired. Goofy spun his shield around, finishing off the rest of the clay pots while Donald moved onto helping Sora and I. Aladdin seemed to have lost the location of Jasmine because he was beginning to panic. Within seconds, the easy opponent faded away, leaving us in silence... and no Jasmine.
"Jasmine!" Aladdin yelled as he searched for the black-haired princess. Yet, there was no sign of her anywhere. What could have happened to her she was just here a second ago! The old man's cackling echoed around the area of Agrabah that we were in as if it was taunting us. He must not know that I don't like being taunted. "To the desert! Come on, let's move!"
Running straight to the city exit, we hightailed it to the sandy abyss. The purple and gold flying rug stood against the wall like it had been waiting for us this entire time. If he needed something he could have just asked. "I think we should go back to the place we found Aladdin. It seems like somewhere that guy would hide." Sora suggested, looking down at me and Donald.
Yup, he looked down at me... I'm going to hurt him now...
"Well then let's go, carpet guy!" I triumphantly declared, watching as the rug laid flat on the sand so that we could climb aboard. I don't know how we did it, but the four of us managed to get on. You know, with the occasional Donald trying to push me away from him and I almost end up falling thirty feet to golden sand. The carpet took off flying at an urgent speed unlike the first time we had gotten on. Maybe he sensed the desperateness in Aladdin's tone when he spoke. "Let's play a game during the ride there. I spy with my little eye-"
"Now is not the time, Sasuke!" Donald grumbled, crossing his feather covered arms over his equally covered chest. I glared down at him for interrupting me.
"I was just trying to ease the tension!"
"Do you not realize that Jasmine is in danger?!"
"Yeah, but we can't just stare at the sky for fifteen minutes while we wait to get there!"
"No, YOU can't. WE can because WE don't have small attention spans unlike YOU!"
"There is nothing wrong with my attention- hey, that cloud looks like Riku!" I smiled, pointing up to the sky. Sora looked up to see a white spiky ball of fluff that, indeed, looked like the silver-haired teen. Aladdin began laughing and it was then that I realized what I just did. "Whatever! Sora, you'll play with me, right?"
"Yeah, sure." The spiky haired brunette said, shrugging his shoulders. I looked around the area for something to use.
"Okay. I spy with my little eye something... gold-"
"The sand."
"You got that one. I spy something... blue-"
"The sky."
"Alright, I spy something... gold-"
"The sand."
"Okay, I spy something... blue-"
"The sky."
"THAT'S ALL THAT'S OUT HERE!" Donald shouted, making everybody jump out of surprise. I narrowed my gray eyes at him and huffed, "Alright, next. I spy something white and acts like it has a stick up its-"
"It's Donald." Aladdin, Sora, and Goofy answered at the same time. Said duck made that angry sound he makes when he's frustrated and began swinging his clenched fists at the air. This made all of us burst out laughing, especially me.
The sky started turning dark in the distance and I instantly knew that we were almost there. This had to be the only part of the desert that had cloudy skies during the day time. A small smile adorned Aladdin's face just at th sight of it. He must really want to get Jasmine back.
I didn't even wait for the rug to land before I jumped down onto the sand below. It felt good not to have Goofy's knee pressed against my back. The rug landed and the three boys got off, walking to where I was and searching for clues. The place seemed pretty abandoned. There was no sign of life, or any life for that matter, anywhere. That was, until the ground started shaking.
"Earthquake!" Goofy shouted, grabbing me for protection. I would have sweat dropped right about now; yeah, real smart to grab onto the second smallest one here. "Wait, that's not an earthquake..."
When the sand cleared away we had a clear view of a cave. It hadn't been there when we landed. It looked as if it was made out of rock and resembled a gigantic tiger's head. Purple and black smoke fogged up its eyes and the head literally started to move. Yes, move. It shot out beams of dark light out of its eyes while it leaned down to bite us. What kind of trap was this?! Sora, being the fighter he was, called upon his keyblade and jumped onto the tiger's nose, attacking the head.
Talk about a soldier... I thought to myself as we followed suit. As soon as I crawled onto the nose the tiger shook his head, sending all of us flying back onto the sand. Great now I have sand in my hair. The cave bent down to bite at me and it almost got me right on the same arm I got injured in Deep Jungle. Good thing I moved out of the way, unlike Donald who got a feather plucked off and ran away screaming. Sora jumped back onto the nose and attacked it with all of his strength. He was going to get tired if he kept this up.
I hopped on, dodging the beams of destructive light, and attempted to help him out. Goofy was taking care of the Arabian Heartless that had spawned on the sand not too long ago. He shook his head again and Sora flew off. I grabbed onto his nose and held on as tight as I could, somehow being able to hold on until it was finished. The tiger was obviously growing weak.
I struggled to climb back on and once I did I went back to hitting the eyes. After about six hits, its head started whirling around like it was going to pass out. Right before I was about to deal the finishing blow, Sora came out of nowhere and crashed his Kingdom Key down on it. With that, the darkness in its eyes faded away, leaving them a glowing golden color.
"Is that it?" I asked, looking at the tiger head miraculously. Everyone shrugged their shoulders and proceeded to walk into the tiger's mouth, which had been wide open since it stood stil. Sora and I jumped off of the nose before chasing after them. They weren't really going to leave us were they?
The inside of the cave looked way more spacious than it did on the outside. The room was a brownish color with lanterns hanging from the walls and ceiling. Swirls and different patterns were carved into the walls as well as the pedestals that were scattered around the room. To me, it looked somewhat like a dungeon or something. We walked through a doorway which led to a similar but even bigger room, though this one had gaping holes in the ground that led to who knows where.
Donald took one step forward and a giant cement ball rolled out of a trap door. I reached forward and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, yanking him back before he became a pancake. That would be bad because I don't have any syrup.
We continued walking through the long corridors of the cave until we came to a room with a bunch of light radiating around it. Of course, I took off running towards it since I personally am easily distracted by shiny things. Once I stepped just one foot in, my jaw dropped to the floor. "SWEET MOTHER OF DESTINY ISLANDS, I'VE HIT THE JACKPOT!" I screamed, running in as fast as I could. It didn't take long for the boys to come in running after me. They probably thought that I was in trouble.
Sora face palmed when he seen me rolling around in huge piles of golden coins. A happy smile spread across my pale face as I tossed some coins in the air and watched as they fell back onto the multiple piles of valuables around the room. "Are you serious?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at me.
I nodded my head, "Do you know how much stuff I can get with this?!"
"Don't touch it, Sasuke! It's a trap, too." Aladdin warned. As soon as the words left his mouth I dropped every piece of gold I had and crawled out of the jewels. Yeah, I was done as soon as he said trap. Even though I wanted those coins it wasn't worth dying over.
We walked out of the trasure room and into a large circular room that wasn't as spectacular looking as the others. This must have been the very back of the cave. As we walked in further, voices could be heard in the chamber. "Doing so may actually prove useful to our-" The old guy from earlier started but stopped once he heard us enter the room. A woman with a black cloak and greenish skin was standing behind him.
"Wait a second. Are you Maleficent?" Sora asked, looking at the green-skinned lady with a raised eyebrow. She gave a simple smirk before fading away as if she wasn't even there in the first place. Weird.
"Jafar, let Jasmine go!" Aladdin snapped. So I was right, his name was Jafar. At least I don't have to call him old man anymore.
"Not a chance. You see, she's a princess- one of seven who hold the key to opening the door."
"Open the door? What door?" I asked, tilting my head to the side and scratching my head. Was there something I didn't know and they weren't telling me? And how could a person be a key?
"But you fools won't live to see what lies beyond it." He chuckled, making me roll my eyes. Who was he calling a fool?! "Genie! Crush them!"
The blue genie hung his head in shame. He couldn't do this, we were his friends! "Sorry, guys. The one with the lamp calls the shots. I don't have a choice." He pouted, mopping like he was really depressed. I knew he had a heart but still. This was going to be a hard battle.
"Oh, great..." Sora and I said in unison, stepping back and summoning our keyblades.
Purplish colored lightning cackled around Jafar as his body shifted to a black color. I couldn't tell whether or not he was getting electrocuted or not but judging by the way he was yelling, the old man was in pain. This had taken place right after we finished him off in the fight with Genie. He disappeared in thin air, leaving us to stare at the spot he was once standing in utter confusion. Another thing he left, however, was an unconcious Jasmine laying on the ground. All five of us ran over to help her out, she was top priority at the moment.
"Genie! My final wish!" A voice said from behind us. We whipped our head around to see Jafar hovering in mid-air. He didn't seem the least bit hurt unlike a few seconds ago. This guy just WON'T go away would he? "I want you to make me an all-powerful genie!"
And I thought I was stupid...
Genie reluctantly pointed his blue finger at the man and granted his dumb wish. Jafar began to glow as the ground underneath him gave way. He fell underground, revealing another part of the cave. "We have to follow him!" Aladdin said while he got ready to jump down the hole.
"Are you sure, Al? I mean, Jasmine AND the keyhole are right there. We can just lock this puppy up, take her, and go." I suggested, not really feeling like fighting again. What? I'm lazy. In the past two hours I've been in three fights and this was going to be my fourth. You can't blame a girl for trying. Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Aladdin shot me a sideways glance and I instantly knew that I was going to have to fight Jafar yet again. "Aren't you guys tired at all?!"
They didn't reply, Sora just pushed me into the hole. It seems like whenever I don't want to do something I always end up getting pushed by him. It was like a five story drop but you know. I guess we all are supposed to have ninja skills like Sora, but when I break my leg he'll feel bad. Oh, I can't wait for that day.
It was like a fiery pit from hell in the hole. Lava surrounded the place and all that was seperating us from getting burned alive was the platform that we were on. Much to my surprise, Jafar was floating around, he was actually a genie. But he looked rather strange compared to Genie. While Genie gave off a friendly aura, Jafar was a reddish pink color and had the most... disturbing look on his face. Joy.
His pet parrot was flying around holding what looked like Jafar's magic lamp. Was he bound to it? Did that mean if one of us got it would he belong to us? "Get the lamp!" Donald shouted, taking the words right out of my mouth.
Sora jumped in the air and attempted to hit the bird, but it swaked and flew away. I would have laughed in it weren't for Jafar trying to throw balls of molten lava at me. The bird flew past me and I grabbed onto its tail, pulling it towards me. It tried to bite me while I pried the lamp from between its claws, but it eventually worked. Luckily for it, it scratched my injured arm making me whince and toss the lamp in the air.
The bird flew as fast as it could to reach it but Sora, who is an excellent jumper I might add, jumped into the air and caught it first. "Okay, Jafar! Back to your lamp!" He shouted, holding the brown item up so he could dissolve into it. Jafar was taken hostage by an orange tornado that sucked him back into the lamp. With a loud cry, the man (or genie) was gone. Good, I didn't even have to fight.
"Great, now how are we supposed to get back up there?" I asked, looking up at the exit. We could probably climb our way out but it would take us... I don't know, three days. The purple flying carpet flew in from the hole before landing on the ground next to us. Talk about a true friend. "Thanks, buddy! Just for this I promise I'll vaccum you!"
The rug seemed pretty pleased with that. It took us up the few floors that were left until we were back into the room we were previously in. The first thing I noticed was that Jasmine was nowhere to be seen. She was just right here a couple of minutes ago. Aladdin hopped off and began calling her name and looking around to see if he could find where the girl had disappeared to. I didn't think he was going to have such luck.
"Sora, look." Goofy said, pointing to the keyhole in the wall. It was glowing a yellowish gold like the ones in the other worlds had. The brunette must have caught on because he whipped out the Kingdom Key and pointed it at it; a blue beam of light shooting out of it and into the keyhole. A locking sound was heard. This world was safe from the Heartless... until the ground started shaking. "Whoa, we'd better get out of here!"
"Jasmine!" Aladdin shouted in a last attempt to contact the raven haired princess. We didn't have time for this, the cave was about to collapse! He had to literally dragged the boy onto the flying carpet before he went all detective looking for her. "We can't leave yet! We have to get Jas-"
"She's fine, Aladdin. Calm down!" I said, smacking him. His head snapped to the side as he had a completely blank look on his face. Sora and Donald looked at me as if to say 'What good was that supposed to do' to which I just shrugged my shoulders. I opened my mouth to say something but the carpet dodged a falling rock, causing me to almost fall off and into a river of lava. "Hey! I'm not ready to die yet!"
"Well then you better hold on!" Sora said just as the carpet made another sharp turn.
First, I'd just like to get one thing straight. You know how I get motion sick easily, right? What was the use of me holding on? So I can throw up on my hands and slip off instead? No thank you. I'd rather just clutch onto Goofy's jacket and use my other hand to cover my mouth. I felt like I was going to hurl. We flew out of the Cave of Wonder, as Aladdin told us it was called, and headed straight for Agrabah. I don't want to see this desert ever again in my life.
"Sora, let's go find her." Aladdin said once we landed in his house (which happened to be the run down building with a big hole in the wall from before). I scratched behind my ear and looked at the ceiling. By the way Sora was hanging his head in shame the black-haired boy was about to receive some pretty bad news.
"Sorry, I can't take you with me."
"Wh-why not?"
"I sure wish we could..." Goofy pouted, giving Aladdin his most sincere face. It was honestly really adorable. "But we can't. If we take him to another world, we would be... meddling!" Donald added, speaking to Goofy more than to the rest of us.
'What does he mean by meddling?' I thought to myself, watching the duck cross his arms over his chest. Once a-freakin'-gain, I was left in the dark for about the thousandth time. "Aladdin, we'll find Jasmine. I promise." I tried, giving him my sweetest smile. Wow, its been a while since I've used that one. Aladdin sat on the floor staring at his feet; I felt bad for the poor guy.
"Uh, earth to Al. Hello? You still have one wish left. Look, just say the word. Ask me to find Jasmine for you." Genie said, never ceasing to use those extravagant hand gestures of his. Oh yeah, I had forgotten all about that. That was actually really smart. Why didn't I think of that!
"I-I wish..." Aladdin started, lifting his head. Genie began cracking his knuckles and stretching like this wish would take a lot of work. Yeah right, I bet all he had to do was snap his fingers and yell out some mumbo-jumbo. Don't tell him I said that though. "... for your freedom, Genie."
Insert record scratch here...
"Al!" Genie gasped, stopping all the motions he was doing. Pink sparkles and swirls surrounded his body as his wispy blue tail slowly turned into legs. He was free now! He could do whatever, go wherever, eat whatever, and see whatever he wanted. The golden cuffs on his wrists faded away, making him smile widely.
"A deal's a deal, Genie. Now you can go anywhere you want. You're your own master now." Aladdin smiled. "But if you can, it'd be great if you could go along with them and help Sora find Jasmine."
"Sorry, Al. I'm done taking orders from others." Genie replied, making Sora, Donald, Goofy, and I face palm in unison. Was he serious? "But... a favor, now that's entirely different. I guess I could give that a try. After all, we're pals, right, Al? Just leave it to me!"
3rd Person P.O.V.
"That smarmy vizier could've had 'em- if someone had stuck around to give him a hand." Hades said, running a hand through the blue flames he called hair. He gave a sideways glance to the teenager standing next to him before rolling his onyx black eyes. They were in the regular meeting room, which consisted of nothing but a dim gray light and darkness.
"Hey, I did my part. I brought the princess, didn't I?" Riku asked, crossing his toned arms over his chest and looking over at Maleficent.
"Jafar was beyond help, consumed by his own hatred. One should beware of letting it burn too fiercely." Was all that Maleficent gave them in reply, closing her eyes and facing her head towards the ceiling.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lighten up. I'm as cool as they come, okay?" Hades smirked. "By the way, kid, have we got something special for you."
Riku gave him a confused look before raising a silvery eyebrow. "We had a deal, yes? You help us, and we grant you your wish..." Maleficent trailed off. An image of Kairi appeared in front of the boy, whose eyebrows shot up just at the sight of her. This was what he wanted. "Go to her. Your vessel is waiting."
Captain Hook snickered, "Just remember, this is not pleasure cruise. It won't be a pleasant voyage."
"Why are you doing all this for me? What's the catch?" Riku asked, trying to sound as unimpressed as possible. However, you can tell just by looking at his face that he was dying to get a hold of the red haired girl.
"Catch? What's the catch? Silly boy. You're like a son to me. I only want you to be happy." Maleficent smiled, touching Riku's cheek lightly. Said boy smacked her hand away as soon as it made contact with his face.
"I seriously doubt that."
"Believe what you wish. But lest we forget, I kept my end of the bargain."
With that, Riku walked out of the room, leaving behind a smirking witch.
I know, I know! You guys hate me! *dodges knives being thrown* I had to save up money for another laptop because my old one broke. I considered updating through my phone but then I was like "No, Insane. Then it wouldn't turn out as good as it would typed out on your computer." And I was like... ugh... Do you know how HARD it is to save money with two brothers?! These guys will do anything for a dollar and it's really starting to get on my nerves. On the bright side I pretty much have almost all of Kingdom Hearts 2 planned out so yeah, look out for that. It's going to be EPIC *heart attack*
So anyways, my absence will no longer be a problem for you guys. I plan on getting around ten more chapters (at the very least) done by the end of this month. Hey, I should come up with a name for all of my fans! What about... I don't even know. I literally just sat there for five minutes looking at my screen because I couldn't think of anything. Maybe in the next chapter I'll come up with something, comment your ideas.
Did you hate it? Love it? Question or comment? Review!
