To Mommy

Heaven, above the clouds

Dear Mommy,

It makes me happy that you can tell me stories. Daddy tells me stories too.

You know, every January 14th Daddy takes me to Poseidon & Athena too. We also get the Butterscotch Peanut Butter Cake on our way home. Daddy said it's a tradition that he hopes he and a Mikan Hyuuga can keep.

I like it there, it's really fancy.

And you're right, Daddy can't cook, but he still cooks for me. He's getting better though.

Although, he still burns the popcorn every Friday Movie Nights.

I love Friday Movie Nights, he always let me pick the movie. Sometimes he falls asleep. But that's okay because I know Daddy works very hard.

Oh, guess what! I can turn things on and off without touching anything.

When I told Daddy he got really upset and told me to never use it again. And if I do someone will take me away.

I didn't believe him at first but that night Auntie Hotaru came over and Daddy was crying. He kept saying that he can't lose me and I'm the only thing he has that connects him to Mommy.

I felt really bad,

I started to cry.

Daddy heard me and hugged me. He kept kissing me on the head and laid with me until I fell asleep in his bed. The next day Auntie Hotaru came back again and gave me a really pretty necklace.

It was pink with an orange charm. She told me to never take it off. I heard her tell Daddy that it will stop me from using my...um, I think she said Alice.

Auntie Hotaru's baby was born. It's very cute.

It has Uncle Ruka's hair and Auntie Hotaru's eyes.

She let me hold her. She cries a lot. Auntie Hotaru said it's a curse. She said that it was her fault for using your name.

I didn't really understand but Daddy said that it was because you use to cry a lot and were very annoying.

I thought that what Auntie Hotaru was being mean and when I told her she laughed and said she's just kidding.

I have to go. School starts in a little bit. I'm in fourth grade. Daddy told me stay away from all of the boys.

Hotaru laughed and said that he only says that because that's when you guys met.
