Yuzu's death
Chapter 8
Sayuri Lapis: Well, this story is almost coming to an end. Just one more conflict, and it will be a deep one. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V.
Yuya, TJ, and Roberto walked through the park. "Man, this park sure brings back memories." TJ sighed.
"Yeah, don't you guys remember we played Duck Duck Goose here?" Roberto asked. "Yeah, and Dad would often pick up Yuya and tickle him on the bench after our game?" TJ laughed.
"Yeah, those were some great times weren't they Yuya, before your dad disappeared?" Roberto asked TJ's twin, who was looking at the lake. "Earth to Yuya! Did you just here what I just said?" Roberto asked, looking very annoyed. "Sorry." Yuya apologized. "What did you say again?"
"Forget it. You're such a sourpuss." The tan skinned teen muttered. "Yuya, we heard about your wife Yuzu dying. You don't have to be sad about it forever. You have to move on." TJ said.
"TJ's right. Your grouchy mood is starting to make me grouchy. Where's your smile?" Roberto asked. "I don't have a smile anymore." Yuya sighed, putting his goggles over his eyes. "Come on; let's go somewhere to cheer you up." TJ said, taking his twin brother's hand.
Yuya then thought about the blue margarita, and his mouth started to drool. "Dude, is there something wrong?" TJ asked. "I want to go to this place." Yuya answered, dragging his twin brother and nephew over to Duelist Pub. "I thought we were going to meet your friends." Roberto said.
"Are you sure you want to go to this place Yuya?" TJ asked. "It looks a little risky to me."
"What's the harm?" Yuya yelled. "It's completely harmless to me!"
"Ok ok, you don't have to be harsh with me." His twin brother calmly answered. "You can go in if you want, but I won't stop you."
Yuya glared at TJ and walked into the pub. "One blue margarita please." He called out. "Coming right up." The bartender murmured and gave him a glass.
The green and red haired teen drank it all down in 3 minutes. "Another too galass please." He slurred. "Are you alright?" The bartender asked.
"I'm as healthy as a horse. Give me another galass!" Yuya hissed. The bartender shrugged and gave him two more glasses of margarita and Yuya drank them all.
TJ and Roberto were standing outside of the pub. "Wonder what Yuya's doing." Roberto murmured. TJ was about to answer, but Yuya came out, looking drunk and dazed. "Are you ok Yuya?" Roberto asked. "I don't think so, he looks drunk." TJ said.
"Let's take him home then." The tan skinned teen said. "Good idea." TJ agreed.
TJ and Roberto then took him back to You Show You Duel School and put him in his room. "Yuya doesn't sleep in this kind of room does he?" Roberto asked.
"That's actually Yuzu's room." TJ sighed.
"I think sleeping in there is just going to cause him more problems though." The tan skinned teen said. "I agree, just leave him alone." TJ sighed.
TJ and Roberto then walked outside and saw Shuzo Hiragi. "Hey, aren't you the owner of this place?" TJ asked. "Yeah Yuya." Shuzo answered.
"I'm not Yuya, I'm TJ." The green and red haired teen said. "I'm his twin brother."
"Oh hey TJ." He greeted and then looked at Roberto. "Who are you?" He asked. "I'm Roberto Sakaki, Yuya's nephew." The tan skinned teen answered. "And you are going to be staying here right?" Shuzo asked.
"Yeah, we'll take care of Hana-chan." TJ and Roberto said at the same time. "Well, I have to be somewhere right now; you're welcome to look around here." Shuzo said and rushed away.
TJ and Roberto sighed and looked at each other. TJ's stomach then growled. "I'm hungry, wanna eat?" He asked. Roberto nodded in agreement.
A couple of hours later, Yuya was sleeping on Yuzu's bed softly until he woke up, having a headache. "Uugghh….Where am I? What happened?" He muttered, placing his palm on his forehead.
He walked over to the vanity and touched a silver bracelet that had a pink bead in the middle. "This was Yuzu's bracelet, when Hana is old enough, I will give her this bracelet." He murmured and put it back on the vanity.
He then heard a faint screech from the nursery. Yuya walked into the nursery and saw Hana crying. "Geez, you scream a lot. It seems you dislike being alone." He murmured and took out the little infant out of her crib.
Hana giggled and laughed loudly. As Yuya was staring at her hair, he saw red and pink streaks with the green hair. "A mix of me and her." He whispered as the baby cuddled into him. A small smiled came to his face and he sung a little lullaby to her.
"I won't let anyone hurt you." He whispered into her ear, the warm breath tickling her, which resulted in a giggle. She played with his pendulum necklace.
TJ and Roberto walked into the nursery. "So you are awake already huh?" Roberto asked. "Yeah, I am. Why?" Yuya asked.
"Because you did something bad earlier today." TJ sternly said. "What did I do?" Yuya asked. "You drunken alcohol and became drunk after that." TJ answered.
"True." Roberto said. Yuya was getting irritated. "Shut up!" He yelled, punching TJ. "It's none of your business!"
"Fine, we won't meddle in your business anymore." TJ said. "Do whatever you want and hurt yourself."
Yuya kept his mouth shut as he watched his twin brother and nephew walk out of the room.
This would be the beginning of the strained relationship between him, Roberto and TJ, and Hana.
