Yuzu's Death

Epilogue

Sayuri Lapis: For those of you who have been patient with me for the last year and have been reading and reviewing my other stories. Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy the very last chapter of the story. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC V.

A few months have passed since the incident with Yuya. Now everything was back to normal and the incident was behind their minds.

Yuya had changed very much since that time and he went back to his fun loving self once again. He moved out of his mother's house and moved back to You Show You Duel School with his daughter and his daughter started to practice dueling with her father and her grandfather Shuzo.

Shuzo Hiragi came back from America a month after Yuya was released from the hospital and it was a happy reunion.

"I summon The Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon and The Time Gazer Magician on the pendulum scale! Pendulum Summon!" Yuya cried out. "Go defeat Hana's monsters!"

"AAHHH!" Hana cried falling to the ground and her life gauge decreased to 0.

Hana had also changed as well, becoming a little more sociable and sharing a strong bond with her father.

"Not bad." The green and red haired male said, walking over to her. "If you practice and think of some strategies, you'll get better at dueling."

"I know. You told me that so many times." Hana groaned. She stood up. "I don't want to practice anymore. I'm hungry."

Yuya chuckled and took her hand. "Do you want a snack?" He asked. "Sure." Hana answered.

They both walked to the kitchen and Yuya made her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. "Would you like apricot jelly?" Yuya asked.

"Yuck, I hate apricot!" Hana scowled playfully. "I like strawberry jelly."

"I know." Yuya laughed. After he made her the sandwich, he sat down next to her and watched her eat.

"It's really good daddy. Thank you so much." She mouthed.

"You're welcome." Yuya said. Shuzo came into the kitchen.

"So, who won the duel?" He asked.

"Daddy won the duel, but he said that I have to practice more in order to win." The little girl said, finishing her sandwich up.

"That's true. You have to practice." Shuzo told her. "It's the only way to get better."

Just as Yuya was about to speak, Ayu, Futoshi, and Tatsuya came into the kitchen. "I came here to duel with Yuya nii-chan and Hana-chan!" Futoshi yelled.

"No, I did!" Ayu argued, pushing the fat boy.

"It's neither of you. I came here for that." Tatsuya said.

"Actually, we have something to do with today. We can duel tomorrow." The tomato head told them. The three of them sighed in disappointment. "Ok, but what are you going to do?" Futoshi asked.

"We have to go see my mom and some other things." Yuya told them and he stood up along with Hana.

They went outside You Show You Duel School and as they were walking down the street, they saw Yuto and Masumi Kotsu.

"Hey Yuya!" Yuto greeted, giving Yuya a high five.

"Hey Yuto, what's up?" The green and red haired male asked.

"Nothing, glad to see you and Hana are doing well." The purple haired male said, looking at Hana, who was talking to Masumi.

Masumi then stood up and looked at Yuya. "You've been looking much better." She told him.

"I'm just glad that I got over it. I feel so energetic." Yuya told her. The three of them giggled and after that, they both said goodbye and they parted.

Hana and Yuya continued to walk down until they reached Yoko's home. Yuya rang the doorbell and they were greeted by Yoko.

"Oh my Yuya, what brings you and Hana-chan here?" She asked.

"Well, I needed to get something from my room. I'll be down here quick." He then looked at his daughter. Hana nodded in approval and she walked into the living room while Yuya ran up to his room. She sat down on the sofa and turned on the TV and watched a Reality TV program for about 20 minutes.

"Where are TJ and Roberto?" Hana asked.

"You don't remember sweetie? They transferred to Paris for teaching jobs last week." Yoko told her.

"Oh..." The little girl murmured.

"Let's go Hana!" Yuya called out.

"Yes daddy!" The green and red and pink streak haired girl called out.

They walked out of the house and met up with Sora and Shingo. They talked with him for some time.

"Hey Sora!" Yuya greeted.

"What's up?" The blue haired boy licked his lollipop.

"Nothing much, Hana and I are going to relax here at the park." The tomato head then looked at Shingo, who was babysitting his brother. Hana giggled as his brother was biting him and Shingo was screaming in agony. They said goodbye and then they walked to the park and sat down on the grass, feeling the breeze.

"It's such a nice day!" Hana exclaimed, closing her eyes as the sun was beating down on her. Yuya cracked his eyes open and saw Yuzu's shadow. He sat up and looked behind him and saw her standing under the tree as the wind was blowing.

"Yuya…" She whispered. He rubbed his eyes and she was gone in a second.

A couple tears came out of his eyes but he wiped them away. He went back to Hana was and lied down with her, holding her hand. He closed his eyes slowly and took a little nap.

Life was truly perfect for both of them, and Yuya knew that no matter how hard the obstacle was, he knew that he and Hana could get through it.
