From Your Mom

Did your dad ever tell you about the very first christmas we had together after we got married. Well, It's kind of a funny story.

You see, ever since we were kids our christmases were always spent with all of our family. Well, our friends that are like family. But for our first christmas after we got married your father wanted to go on a trip just the two of us. And I mean JUST us. But of course that didn't happen. Well, we did get a few hours to ourselves.

Your dad had made the plans all by himself so the whole trip was a surprise. I didn't do a dang thing, he even packed my bags for me without my knowing.

Your dad drove us to the airport with a blindfold over my eyes.

He said we got a few funny looks. I mean come on, a grown man driving around with a blindfolded woman next to him.

So, it wasn't till we actually entered the airport I realized we were going somewhere.

He had booked two plane tickets for Tahiti. Which was great...if we actually got to go. Right before we were about to board the plane we heard Koko reading out your father's thoughts out loud. And your father's thoughts weren't appropriate to read out loud. So before we knew it we were surrounded by our friends. They all found out about your father's surprise and all decided to come with us. To say your father was mad would be an understatement. He was fuming, literally. This caused the Airport to go in panic mode, so a few hours later we were all in prison for being terrorist. Fun, right? Till this day your Dad has yet to forgive Koko.

Well, that's the first Christmas of my married life. Tell your Dad I still love him.

Love, Mikan the first.
