"make sure everything is in tip top shape before we set sail tonight" you shouted to your crew who did their jobs properly while you sat on Utopia's wooden barrier looking at Arendelle castle. It was late in the afternoon and you were setting sail when it was nightfall. You decided that it would be best for Biscuit to stay with Jenna so she didn't get lonely much. You promised Jenna that you would return but you didn't know when, Elsa didn't speak to you at all which saddened you a lot because you wanted to explain to her everything but every time you tried you get tongue tied.
"Cap are you sure you don't want to say goodbye to the Queen?" Adam asks you causing you to sigh as you took off your hat and said
"No because she doesn't want to talk to me at all" You told Adam what happened between you and Elsa even though he teased you a little bit at the beginning, he did give you some advice and listened to you carefully.
"CAPTAIN (Y/N)!" a voice called out from the harbour causing you two to look over to see the Captain of the Arendelle Guards, Jasper "May I come aboard?" he asks you as nodded and the Jasper came aboard and whistled "woah Captain, this thing is a beauty" you smiled proudly
"Thank you, how may I help you?" you asked as you sat in your thinking position again causing Jasper to raise a curious eyebrow at you "what? this is how I like to sit" the captain shook his head
"okay, the Queen of Arendelle is going to the Northern Isle to talk to the royals there and we were wondering since you and your crew were already going, might as well kill two birds with one stone" your face dropped and you swore you stopped breathing for a couple of minutes.
"What are you suggesting exactly Captain?" you said to Jasper who grinned at you
"I'm saying that if you can take our Queen to the Northern Isle and take her back as well" Jasper said smugly towards you causing you look at your feet "Captain we know you like our Queen, we can see the way you look at her, it's the same look I see my son looks at his wife" you just looked at him.
"I can't like her that way though Captain, she is so way out of my league besides she is a Queen and I am not of royal blood" you said truthfully to Jasper who sighed as he crossed his arms before leaning back against your ship.
"The Queen is unique you know that right?" you nodded "the Queen deserves someone who will love her for her and not to be used just for breeding and as a weapon" you clenched your fist in anger at the thought.
"(Y/N) I haven't asked the Queen yet but if she did say yes, do you promise that she will be safe?" you nodded and placed a hand on your heart
"you have my word Captain Jasper, nothing shall harm the Queen" Jasper smiled and nodded "I need to ask Cap what is your full name?" you remembered that you only know the Captain by Jasper.
"My Name is Jasper Pyther" your eyes widen in surprise causing him to say "what?"
"Pyther? By any chance you know who Eric Pyther is?" Jasper thought deeply for a second then said
"Eric Pyther, he was a sailor lost at sea right?" you nodded "but I do not have any relation to him whatsoever" you sighed "are you searching for him?" you shrugged
"I promise someone that I would find him and bring him home" Jasper nodded
"I'm sorry to hear that but he said that he was last heard of in the Caribbean seas" you nodded "so I shall head back and say to the Queen what the arrangement are, I would have at least three guards coming with her just in case" you nodded
"Good luck Cap" you tipped your hat at the Captain who saluted back at you before leaving your ship. As you watched the captain walk away "this should be interesting" you muttered under your breath.
"What are you suggesting Captain Jasper?!" Elsa asked angrily as there was winter winds started to swirl around in her office as papers started to fly everywhere while the Captain Jasper made sure he didn't get hit with anything
"Your Grace I was thinking that you can kill two birds with one stone, I mean Captain (Y/N) would be coming back here in Arendelle for Jenna, what did happen between you and him anyway?" Captain Jasper asked as he noticed that it started to snow softly watching Elsa blush causing him to smirk that a certain Sea Defender had this much effect on her however Captain Jasper was great friends with Elsa's father, King Adgar and ever since him and his wife died, he took it upon himself to act as a father figure to Elsa so if anyone hurts her, he hurts them simple as.
"Nothing, Jasper, honest" Elsa said quickly as she kept her powers under control "why can't I just sail on one of Arendelle's finest ships?" Elsa quickly retorted causing Jasper to sigh as he crosses his arms
"You know what happened when the last time" Elsa remembered what happened to her parents "Elsa its not that I don't trust our sailors but I do but I want someone that I trust to make sure you get back in one piece and safe, Elsa I am not asking as the Captain of the Guard" he placed his hand on her shoulder "I am asking as your friend" Elsa looked into Jasper's eyes that was fully of reassurance "I promise I won't let anything happen to you" Elsa nodded as she let Jasper hugs her like her father used to.
"Okay but promise that you will be coming with me?" Elsa asked Jasper who sighed and nodded
"But I warn you that I am not as experienced in the sea as the other men I wanted to accompany you with" Elsa nodded and whispered
"I just want a friend with me" Jasper nodded as understands what she meant.
That night everything was perfect as you and your crew waited for Elsa to come aboard. When they approached Elsa was wearing her normal ice dress but with a dark blue ice hooded cloak with Anna, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, Jenna and Captain Jasper with two other guards besides him as they escorted them to the pier where your ship was docked.
"Permission to come aboard Captain?" Anna shouted excitedly causing you to smirk before nudging your head at Adam who got out the gangplank for them to walk on "I have orders for you Captain!" Anna said sternly in a playful manner causing you to straighten up like you were back in the navy.
"What would that be Ma'am?!" you said clearly then Anna copied your position
"To make sure that Elsa is safe and has fun, am I understood soldier?" you nodded and saluted at Anna who then hugged you tightly "please take good care of my sister" Anna begged you causing you to wrap your arms around her tightly and replied
"Alright, I promise" Anna whispered thank you to you which you just smiled at. Anna let you go then you turned to Kristoff "keep practicing" Kristoff nodded as you two shared an awkward man hug.
"Safe travels" Kristoff muttered to you as you nodded.
"Where's my warm hugs?" a cute voice causing you look down to see Olaf with his stick arms making you sigh and knelt down to hug the cold snowman tightly then you turned to Jenna who hugged you tightly causing you to lift her up and whispered
"It will be alright, I will come back I promise" you whispered before kissing her forehead softly before placing her on her feet then you patted her head as you pulled out the rare gem that was beautifully cut into a cylinder shape and placed it around her neck "this will keep you safe" you said then you kissed her cheeks then Biscuit who was wrapped around her neck went to yours "I'll miss you too Biscuit" you rubbed behind her ear which she instantly love "I want you to stay here with Jenna and protect her okay?" the otter nodded before licking your cheek then wrapping herself around Jenna's neck.
"Okay Captain ready?" Captain Jasper asks you as you nodded
"We are ready when you are ready" you replied as you watched the two guards bring a chest which you knew was Elsa's luggage "you can put it down below deck, the Queen shall be staying at my quarters" everyone looked at you then you noticed how that sound "NO! I shall be sleeping somewhere else" you quickly added and blushed before pulling down your hat to cover your embarrassment.
When everything was ready, everyone was waving goodbye to everyone on board Utopia "OPEN THE SAILS!" you ordered making Gunner, Nate and Rivers opening the sails letting the wind push your ship forward.
You watched as Elsa was watch from the back of the ship waving farewell to her sister, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven and Jenna. You continued steering the ship doing your best not to look at Elsa. "So Captain, enjoying the view?" he asked as you looked at the old Captain who winked at you as he nudged his head at Elsa causing you to blush.
"Captain Jasper, I implore you do not embarrass me or I will throw you into the sea and make you swim after the ship" you warned Captain Jasper who snickered as he nodded
"Well its getting late" he looked up in starry night before he turned to Elsa "Your majesty, I am off to sleep" Elsa nodded as Jasper bowed before heading below deck causing you to look around to see that nearly everyone went to bed causing you to sigh and covered your eyes.
"If my presences bother you Captain I can just go and leave you alone" Elsa said breaking you out of your thought causing you to look at her
"No it's not your majesty, trust me your presences isn't a bother, it's just that I wanted to apologize for last night" you said quietly as Elsa just kept her distance and looked at you "I honestly want to kiss you that night your majesty but it's just that I remembered Marian even though I promised her that I would move on but-" a soft cool small hand was placed on your stubble cheek, you looked into the most bluest of blue eyes that was full of compassion and understanding.
"I understand (Y/N), to be honest I was a little disappointed however I understand besides you wouldn't want to be with someone like me" her hand was about to drop but one of your hands shot up and held it in place.
"Someone who is kind, funny, smart, sweet, charming, beautiful" you said causing the Queen to blush "I like you than I should even though I am not of royal blood, I like you more than I should because you deserve to be with someone who can offer you the world which something I cannot do" you said honestly "not just yet, I can't offer you a lot Elsa and I'm not ready to forgot Marian just yet but give me time and hopefully I can move on" you smiled sincerely at Elsa who closed her eyes as your other warm hand cupped her free hand and placed it on your other cheek, she smiled as her small thumbs started to stroke your stubble cheek feeling the small hairs tickle her fingertips.
"I don't want the world (Y/N) I just want to be loved" Elsa admitted causing you to sigh and leaned forward so that your foreheads were touching.
"Can't you see it Elsa? You are loved by your people, your family and so many more all you have to do is open your eyes and all the love that you deserve will come" Elsa nodded "when I am with you I feel alive and happy like how I felt with Marian but I am afraid that I will accidentally call you Marian and hurt you that is the last thing I ever want to do" Elsa nodded as you just looked at her then sighed as your mind faced the truth "but we both know we can't be together" you lightly pushed her hands from cheeks "I am just a peasant you deserve a king who can give you things you want and need but that's not me"
"STOP DOING THAT!" Elsa screamed not caring that she could be heard from miles away while you raised an eyebrow at her "Pushing me away, one minute you're telling me to give you time now you're telling me not to wait! Status is something that I don't care about, Anna told me to put my heart first and not Arendelle, right now I choose to follow my heart and that is you but keep pushing me away and I will stop, well what is it Captain?" Elsa asked impatiently causing you to look at your feet. After a few seconds of you not looking at the Queen causing her to sigh and said in her regal voice "Goodnight (Y/N)" Elsa walked past you causing you to sigh as you watched her walk away again.
"Smooth Cap" you turned to see Gunner who was leaning against the mast with a cocky grin on his face causing you to sigh
"I have such a way with women" you joked as you steered the ship
"Chase after her Cap" Gunner advised you causing you to shake your head making Gunner sighed "I married someone who was too good for me, my wife was my life and when she died a part of me died, Cap you deserve happiness, go after her" Gunner batted your hands away from the helm causing you to sigh.
You looked down at Marian's compass and gasped that it was pointing towards below deck where Elsa went, usually the compass pointed north but now it was pointed south-west. You sighed and shook your head "no she deserves better" you went to sleep with the rest of your crew.
The sounds of the seagulls chirping causing you to open your eyes to see it was morning and by the looks of it, it late morning. You looked around to see that all your crew were gone and that the ship wasn't moving making you confuse causing you to get up from the hammock and went up to the main deck where you saw that you were docked in the Northern Isle.
"Where is everyone?" you asked yourself then a voice spoke behind you
"They went to enjoy the town" you turned to see Quill who was writing in his book "the Queen went to see the royals" you nodded as you looked down at your compass to see that it changed it now pointed North-East, you looked up to see it was pointing to the castle "the royals are expecting you there, now Captain" you sigh and nodded before going back down below to get changed.
"May I present Captain (Y/N) (L/N), Sea Defender and Captain of the ship, Utopia" the doors opened to see King and Queen of the Northern Isle sitting on their thrones, their son, Prince Patrick stood proudly next to them and Queen Elsa who stood next to Captain Jasper.
You took of your hat as you walked towards throne, you bowed "your majesties" you said seriously then the Queen hugged you tightly causing you to be a little shocked
"oh come no (Y/N), we all know that we consider you family" Queen Kathleen said making you smile but you just kept your hands didn't move at your sides because you felt it was a little inappropriate to hug the Queen even though you have known them for a long time.
"Welcome back son" the King patted you in the back, you looked over to Prince Patrick who glared at you for getting attention from his parents.
"Thank you, your highness" you put your hat back on "I assume that Prince Patrick has informed you that Vladimir is dead?" the royals nodded "I would like to speak to you in private as Vladimir said something interesting to me and I was wondering if you could give me some advice on it" the King and Queen nodded.
"After everything you have done for us, sure (Y/N)" the King said happily before turning to Elsa "well Queen Elsa, I invite you to join us for lunch today" Elsa smiled sweetly and bowed her head
"I would be honoured your majesty" the King smiled then turned to you
"How about you Cap? Would you join us for dinner? We would love to hear stories about one of your travels" the Queen suggested causing you to smile and nodded
"I would love too, your highness" the Queen kissed your cheek causing you to smile and blush a little. You looked at the grandfather clock to see that it was ten and lunch wasn't until twelve meaning you had some time to kill "I was wondering if I was able to visit one of my friends here before we have lunch?" you asked the King and Queen who smiled and nodded.
"Why don't you show Queen Elsa around while we prepare the preparations for the ball tomorrow" The King suggested as you shyly looked over to Queen Elsa who just looked at you coldly causing you to sigh and nodded.
"Queen Elsa would you follow me please" you said as you lead her outside and Elsa silently followed while Captain Jasper just kept some distance. You walked towards the jewellery shop that you went in months ago. You opened the door for Elsa who just walked past you not giving you any attention causing you to sigh before you entered.
"(Y/N)!" a cheery voice said as a body threw herself around you and you hugged her back before picking her up and spinning around "long time no see!" she squealed happily before you placed her on her feet.
"Goo to see you too Carolina" you kissed her cheek
"Still smell like the sea" she teased causing you to blush then she pulled down your hat so it covered your face "still such a lovely smell" she giggled as you laughed. As you two were just talking, you didn't notice Elsa was looking at you and Caroline having a good talk with you causing her to sadden.
"oh Carolina, this is Queen Elsa of Arendelle, my crew and I escorted her here, that is Captain Jasper over there, he is Queen Elsa's body guard" Carolina gasped as she bowed at Elsa
"its such an honour to have you here your majesty, please excuse my shop for being a mess" Carolina apologized causing Elsa to smile
"That's okay, you have really good nice jewellery, may I look around?" Elsa asked Carolina who had a massive grin on her face and nodded
"YES…I mean yes your majesty by all means, anything you like" Carolina said before Elsa walked around the shop to look at the displays then she slapped you hard on the arm.
"OW! What was that for?" you asked as you rubbed your arm that was quite painful.
"For not telling me that you are with a royal!" she hissed at you as she hit you again while Captain Jasper smiled and laughed at you two.
"Honey I'm home!" a new person entered, you turned to see Stefan carrying a baby in his arms "well I'll be good to see you again (Y/N)!" Stefan gave you a one arm hug
"Who is this?" you asked as you picked up the baby in your arms "who's this little fella?" you said in a baby voice causing the baby to give out a cute giggle making you smile.
"That is Jayson, he is two months old" you smiled and nodded as you looked at the baby in your arms who reached for your hat causing you to smile as you took of your hat and placed it on the baby's head covering his head.
"hey there Jay, how are you? You have your mother's eyes" you said softly as you bouncing him in your arms causing the baby to giggle "how is being a father Stefan?" you asked as you played with a Jayson.
"its tiring but rewarding, so what you doing back?" he asked as you handed Jayson back to Carolina.
"just visiting" you smiled as you talked to the three while Elsa was looking around then you noticed her looking at a simple silver ring that had snowflakes craved delicately around the ring. You smiled as she continued you looking then she spoke
"May I look at this?" Elsa pointed at a small necklace that had an emerald that was cut into a small four pointed flower. Carolina nodded as she handed Jayson to his father before walking over to where Elsa was and opened the cabinet and showed her the necklace. "I would like to buy it for my sister" Carolina nodded
"You know what your majesty please take it as a gift from us" Carolina said causing Elsa's eyes to widen in surprise and shook her head
"No please let me pay for it" Caroline shook her head then Stefan joined in
"Your majesty please take it, consider it a gift please take it, besides (Y/N) helped us by giving us lots of gems from his travels since you are his friend take it" Stefan put the necklace into a dark green velvet box and handed it to Elsa.
"Thank you" Elsa took the velvet box in her hands.
"Your majesty we need to head back now" Captain Jasper advises her as she nodded
"Okay, Jasper" Elsa turned to Carolina and Stefan "Thank you, when I return here I shall be taking my sister with me" the two nodded and smiled.
"You guys go ahead, I'll be there soon" Captain Jasper smiled while Elsa just nodded sharply at you before they left.
"What's going on between you to?" Carolina asks you causing you to ran your hand through your (H/C) hair
"its nothing" Stefan and Carolina who looked at each other and then back at you "seriously guys!" you exclaimed causing them to roll their eyes simultaneously making you exhale "you know what I am going back to the castle" the two nodded as you waved goodbye "good luck with Jay" you playfully teased as you left.
You saw that there lots of people meaning it will take longer for you to get back to the castle. You looked at the buildings around and grinned at the opportunities. You took a deep breathe before you started climbing one of the buildings. When you got to the rooftops you smiled before you started free running across the rooftops. Unknown to you that Elsa and Captain Jasper were stuck in the crowd trying to push through to get back to the castle.
"whoa mommy look that!" a little girl pointed to something in the rooftop, Elsa and Jasper looks as well to see you jumping rooftops to rooftops however one of your jumps you miscalculated the distance one of the ropes causing you to grabbed a hanging potted plant and swung onto a balcony "whoa mommy he looks cool" the kid said in amazement while you made your way to castle quicker than Elsa and Jasper.
After ten minutes of free running you finally got to the castle. You entered the dining room to see that the royals were just about to sit down "Apologizes your majesties that I am late" you said to royals who smiled at you as you bowed before taking a seat and took off your hat and placed it on the chair.
After a few minutes Queen Elsa entered "Forgive me your majesties Captain Jasper and I got stuck in the town square due to lots of people there" Elsa said as she bowed her head to the royals who just nodded back and offered her a seat which she took a seat in front of you.
"Its fine Queen Elsa we should have said that it is market day" Queen Kathleen said as the food arrived.
"Thank you" Elsa said softly then Prince Patrick who was sat next to Elsa spoke
"So Captain (Y/N)" you looked at him "I wanted to thank you for lending me your ship so I could go home" you nodded
"It was no problem Prince Patrick, I hope the journey was safe?" you asked, trying to make a conversation but in your mind you were still mad at him for telling Elsa that your father and Perwas were bad people also you were thinking of names in your mind to call this arrogant Prince but you faked a smile that looked real.
"Yes it was, I found this journal of yours" you looked at him, eyes narrowed as he showed a black leather small book. It was your sketchbook "may I say Captain you have a real eye for detail" he teased "especially for a certain royal" Prince Patrick smirked as you gripped your hand under the table trying to control your anger. "Now you travelling around meant you have met lots of royals in your past right? But tell me who was your favourite?"
"Captain (Y/N)!" Quill entered "We have a problem" you stood up as you put on your hat then Prince Patrick's men was dragging a little boy no older than ten, with messy black hair and green eyes that was filled with worry.
"Captain Patrick, this boy was caught stealing and snooping around the ship" one of the naval soldiers stated causing all of you to look at the boy who was looking frantically from left to right "he didn't tell us a name, shall we throw him into the cellar?"
You walked over to the boy and kneeled so you were eye level with him. You noticed that he was listening to what was said causing him to shake his hand "STAND STILL BOY!" the other shouted causing the boy to freeze.
"Let him go" you said to the two who just looked at you
"Captain (Y/N) this boy was caught stealing and snooping around, what if he damaged the ship?" the man argued as you squeezed their hands painfully causing them to release the boy who was cowering on the floor causing you to sigh.
"Your majesties the reason as to why the boy couldn't tell you his name is that he is mute" everyone gasped as you placed a comforting hand on his shoulder causing him to look at you while you smiled at him "you can't talk right?" the boy nodded "but you can hear?" he nodded causing your smile to enlarge "don't worry I won't let anything happen to you" you promised the kid who hugged you tightly afraid to let go "what did he steal?" you asked Prince Patrick's men who looked dumbfounded that they shouted at a boy who was mute to speak, they noticed Prince Patrick was glaring at them meaning they were in trouble later.
"He uh…stole my compass!" one of the naval
"Tell me why steal the compass?" you asked softly to the boy who was about to speak but Prince Patrick spoke
"I'm sorry but he is mute he can't speak!" you rolled your eyes and looked at the boy who moved his lips you concentrated to understand what he was saying, when he was done speaking, you looked at the royals who was very interested in what was happening.
"He said that he stole the compass was originally his and one of your men, Prince Patrick stole it from him and he was just getting it back" the boy showed you the compass, you looked at the markings at the back which was two curved angel wings etched on the silver compass.
"Our men didn't steal anything! This boy is lying your highness!" the man defended himself as you smiled at the compass in your hand
"No it's the boy's" you said you knew that you needed proof "because these compass sir is one of a kind, I have only seen one of these before and that was Perwas, I am positive that it is Perwas's" you looked down at the boy "you Perwas's son?" the boy nodded "where's you dad now?" just then the door burst in, and you smiled.
"Damian!" Perwas shouted then froze when he saw his son in your arms "(Y/N)?" you grinned at him as the two of you shared a hug before you handed Damian over "what you doing here?" he asked
"Oh just business" Perwas nodded and he hugged his son tightly
"I heard you killed Vladimir, after what he did at Tees" you nodded "anyway how about a drink later on?" you smiled and nodded
"Councillor Perwas" Queen Kathleen said causing you to raise your eyebrow at him
"yes my Queen?" Perwas and his son bowed in the presences of royalty.
"Forgive us we hope that our naval crew hasn't harmed your son, had we known that he was mute then we wouldn't have thought of putting him in the dungeons" King Magnus said worried to Perwas who smiled and nodded
"No worries your majesties, however my son wouldn't have sneaked onto the ship if you men haven't stolen my compass from him" Perwas said strictly causing you to look at him, even when you haven't seen in for a while, he still hasn't changed he didn't care if you were a royal or not, he would still protect people he care about no matter who he was in front of.
"Queen Kathleen, King Magnus I hope you tell your son that being in the navy means that you are above everyone" Perwas said before bowing "I shall take my leave, goodbye your majesties, (Y/N) see you and your crew at our bar" you grinned and nodded as he left.
"How dare he, mother!" Prince Patrick shouted "he is a filthy commoner, why did you ever give him a seat on your council?" your growled silently at him.
"PATRICK!" his father's voice echoed "Perwas was a friend of Captain (Y/N) and has always made decisions that benefited our kingdom greatly if it wasn't for Perwas then we wouldn't have many trusted allies!"
You started coughing uncontrollably as you fell on the floor on your knees coughing "(Y/N)!" Elsa ran over to you as you started coughing blood then you blacked out.
