Nobunaga had made his residence within a large manor in the centre of Gildar, the main city on the seventy-third floor. It was an impressive four storey structure that looked as though it would belong to a duke or something of the like. His loyal army of Death Gamers filled the houses of the city while his most trusted allies were permitted to stay in the manor with him. Although his army had been diminished as of late thanks to Azure Storm and The Gilded Templars, their numbers were still quite high and many had come to join him, fearing being hunted and seeking security.
Nobunaga sat at the overly large dining table on the second floor of the manor with two other players, dining on a rather lavish meal. The other two men ate in silence, occasionally glancing up at Nobunaga who had already finished and was waiting patiently with his eyes closed.
"So, I believe that Azure Storm and those Templars will most likely be here tomorrow, would I be correct?" Nobunaga asked, his eyes remaining closed.
"Provided they can beat the floor boss, yes," the player to Nobunaga's left replied.
"They will. They're determined and they're all skilled players. I would be extremely disappointed if they lose that fight," Nobunaga explained, running his finger around the rim of his wine glass.
"Do you have a plan to face them?" the man to Nobunaga's right asked.
"I plan to give them the fight they desire, after all they're going through all this effort just to get here. It wouldn't be very fair of me to deny them that now would it?" Nobunaga asked in response. The other players chose to remain silent. "Although, I desire to only fight Azure Storm, The Gilded Templars do not interest me at all."
"You may leave them to me. I've been itching to take out Veille for a while now," the left-hand player said.
"I have no qualms with you taking on Azure Storm but there is one member I wish to kill for myself," the player on the right explained.
"Yes, both of you can have the fights you desire. I look forward to seeing a grand war erupt tomorrow. A war that shall shake the very foundations of this floating castle and push the human will to its very limit. I do hope that all the players will do their parts well and that I shall not be left disappointed," Nobunaga said with a dark laugh.
"I shall ready my men, we'll intercept the Templars as soon as they clear the floor boss," the man on the left said, rising to his feet and leaving the room.
"After I have accomplished my goal, feel free to do with me and my men as you wish," the remaining player said, also leaving the room. Nobunaga took a sip of his wine and folded his arms on the table.
"I shall wait for you here Ren Hikari, come and show me your false strength, show me how far the human will can carry you."
