Hi everyone I actually had this chapter done weeks ago but I couldnt post back then due to the fact that the day I completed this chapter was the day I laid my dog to eternal slumber. Without Emily I would be in a grave at age 7 she was a true hero so I'm sorry it took so long but saying farewell to her was the most heartbreaking thing I ever had to endure. Anywho welcome to chapter 22 and number 23 is in the works right now hope to have it done before the ball drop.

Chapter22

Kevin Pov: It was 3 in the afternoon and I was out at the market with Ben and yet as soon as we got in he headed off without telling me what isles to look in for him as if he had a list in his mind on what he wanted to grab. So with no idea where to find him I started scanning the isles with my eyes and found him in the soda isle with his shopping bags down by side as he pulled out a few different things from the shelves so I walked over and helped him out. "So Benji what's in the bags?" "why should I say oh wait that's right you don't like suspense go ahead and look if you really want" I look inside to fine sparkling grape juice, ginger ale, grenadine, brownie mix, cookie mix, marshmallow fluff and caramel sauce. "Well likes your sweet tooth hasn't died it's probably just been hibernating by the looks of what you got I teased" "Is there any meat in particular you want to eat tonight Ben asked?"

"I'm not picky you choose whatever you think will be best I replied nervously

"Oh goodie the meats I was looking for are on sale a package of each should be enough is there anything you want to grab while we are here Ben smiled.

"I am probably going to grab some milk and coffee syrup and some fruit I replied.

"You take care of the fruit and I will grab the syrup and the milk Ben said as he hugged me before walking off"

I head to the fruits and grab some kiwis, oranges, blackberries and strawberries. I meet Ben back in the syrup isle so once we had everything we bag it and head home. Once we got home I opened the door to the house before walking back to see Ben had all the grocery bags on his arms and the milk in his left hand before walking past me with a full face grin. I just walk into the house and shut the door behind me. "Mind telling me how you are able to carry everything on your own.

"Just taught myself to so we don't waste time with walking back and forth Ben replied while putting the meats by the sink.

Well that's neat so why did you get all those different drinks and fattening sweets.

I enjoy sparkling grape juice it's really tasty I got the soda and grenadine to make Shirley temples as for the baking I am not saying Ben smiled as he continued to put everything away.

Oh ok and I was impressed by how you handled the kids even at the beginning you acted just like the principal.

Well after knowing how he handle our class through the years I thought it would seem appropriate to use it if the crowd got a bit too excited.

You were very inspirational to everyone I even noticed the staff seemed pleasantly surprised at how relaxed and yet how passionate you looked.

Thanks Kev and looks like that's the last of the groceries is there anything you want to do Ben replied.

Well I was going to play some Xbox did you want to tag team I smiled.

Nah I'll pass as fun as it sounds I should probably get dinner started Ben replied.

Oh ok if you need a hand just let me know I said before loosening my grip.

Ben's Pov: it was 5pm and after having Gwen all up in my grill about making sure I eat enough and Kevvy always worried about me putting others before myself I decided to get to work on dinner. But as I tie the apron up I get a text from mom saying that she and dad have presents for me. Without letting Kevvy know I grab the keys to the car and head out to my home. As soon as I pull into my parent's driveway I think about if Kevin is freaking out about me leaving home without saying where I was going. Without much care about his reaction I walked in and mom and dad were so happy to see me.

"Hey kiddo were glad you came so quickly how are things going at Kevin's my mom smiled."

"So far it's going well and what exactly is my present sorry if I seem antsy it's just you texted me as I was about to make dinner I replied."

"Oh oops our bad but maybe this will make you smile and help you in the kitchen when you get back dad said as he pulled two boxes out.

"Ben where did you get that bracelet it is simply lovely mom complimented."

"Oh well Kevin got it from the same jewelry store as where I got his necklace and he gave it to me under my thinking tree at the park as we watched the clouds I answered as I slid the bracelet off and placed it on the counter."

"Well our gift won't compare to that but I hope you still like it dad smiled."

I ripped open the wrapping paper and found a box containing a food processor and the second box contained a meat grinder. "There perfect I was actually making burgers when I got your text I said as I hugged my parents with such a giant smile on my face."

"Oh well you should get back soon before Kevin worries mom said as she handed me back my bracelet.

"Right I know I love you both so much and I'm lucky to not only have an amazing boyfriend but a truly wonderful family with incredible one of a kind parents I replied before walking out of the house." Once I get back to Kevin's and I walk in I see him ready to bark like a pack of wolves.

"Where were you I was starting to worry about you Kevin growled?

"Well excuse me next time my parent's text me saying that they want to give me gifts I guess I will tell them sorry mom and dad apparently my boyfriend has me on house lockdown I hissed back.

"Ben relax ok I am not ever going to do that to you Kevin said calmly.

"I'm perfectly fine just go play your games I hissed as I opened up the kitchen appliances mom and dad gave me.

"I've known you long enough to know that's a lie Kevin said stepping closer to me.

"Think that if you want to now leave me alone I growled under my breath as I opened the meat I got from the store.

"Come here you and I both know I'm right Kevin said as he held me close.

Soon my shoulders and gaze lowered and softened Kevin was right it's not like me to snap back at him so easy and hold it against him.

"See I knew you couldn't stay furious at me Kevin smirked.

"Yeah your right now can I get back to what I was working on I said even though I wanted to stay in his arms.

"Ok but at least let me help somehow Kevin said.

"All right get out 3 mixing bowls and then grab all the sweets I bought I smiled happy that he was wanting to cook together.

Soon he had everything out even the eggs and the oil.

"Ok now what do you want me to do asked Kevin?

"In the 2 big bowls can you get the batters made and in the small one mix the fluff and caramel I smiled.

"Do you want the caramel melted before I add it in Kevin asked?

"Yeah actually melt them both it makes it easier to get it out that way I replied." As Kevvy got busy with the sweets I got started on the chourico and pulled pork burgers. I put the meats through the grinder then I spin them together thanks to my new food processor. After I get them all shaped and sized I get the burgers going in a pan.

"Benji the batters are done and the caramel marshmallow mix is all set what is it you want me to do next Kevin asked?

"Oil up the baking pan and then pour half the brownie batter in then use the ice cream scoop to place the cookie dough on top the batter with enough space for them to grow after that take the fluff and pour it between the cookie dough blobs so it looks like intersection lines and after that pour the rest of the brownie batter on top I replied as I flipped the burgers.

"How's that look asked Kevin?

"Perfect now that the burgers are done we can put the sweets in the oven and they will bake while we eat I smiled as I opened the oven and slid the dessert in." Once I got my burger dressed how I wanted I then grab the sparkling juice and pour myself a tall glass. Once Kevin brought the food into the living room I put our drinks down on the table and I had a feeling I was going to kill the entire bottle so I left it off to the side.

"That's a lot of meat you got Benji said Kevin"

I felt so embarrassed and so shocked my burger fell right out of my hands and back onto the plate.

"Ben what's the matter asked Kevin?

"I…Uh…Nothing I replied before shoving the entire burger into my mouth.

Kevin's Pov: It was 6:00 and I was eating dinner with Ben and I just saw him stuff his face. "Ben slow it down and drink something or you going to choke I said." Then I noticed his cheeks were rosy so I checked his pulse and his heart was racing and he felt warmer than normal. "Ben are you sure you're ok you don't seem fine to me I said with a serious glare."

"I know you're my boyfriend and as such you worry about me but I am just fine Ben replied"

After dinner I went to check the dessert and that's when I realized what I told Ben before he even bit into his burger so he felt embarrassed because of he was thinking the way I said it sounded like I was complimenting his cock. 'Maybe I should act that way around him more and see if I can get at him' I said to myself sliding a toothpick in and pulling it out to see it was clean so I took the dessert out and placed it on the counter. Now if I wasn't dating Ben and I was baking things I would of cleaned the bowls out with hot water but I am dating Ben and I know he likes to lick the extra batter out of the bowl so I just place them by the sink before I walk back into the living room. As soon as I walk back into the living room I see that Ben isn't there and the sparkling juice bottle is empty so I check the garage to see the car and both bikes are inside so that means he is still here it wasn't till I heard the shifting of water that I realized he is taking a bath 'probably to calm himself down' I said to myself. I walk upstairs and watch him well I have watched him get dressed without him knowing before so why not. I wanted to see his face but it was nowhere in sight all I saw was his legs. He is going to come up for air soon isn't he I thought to myself. As I was hoping that Ben didn't fall asleep in the bath causing his head to slide into the water I hear my phone start going off in the bedroom I rush into the room to find that its Albedo who is calling.

"Albedo what is it don't you remember that Ben and I are a couple now."

"I really am sorry for calling you at this hour and yes I remember but I seriously need your help there are some odd aliens tailing me."

After Albedo told me the reason behind the call I was thinking I should help after all I'm part of Team Tennyson but what about Ben will he be ok with me dashing off at night. "Fine are there any places you can run into near you I sighed.

"Yeah there is taco tower on my left and moo moo ice cream on my right Albedo answered.

"Go into whichever one is on the same side of the street as you I instructed.

"Ok so I will be hiding inside moo moo ice cream please hurry Kev came the answer.

"I will head there right now I sighed as I ended the call." I put my jacket on fast and swiped my badge off the top of my headboard and then put on my necklace from Ben please let him not be mad at me about this I thought to myself as I started my bike and sped off.

Ben's Pov: it was 7:30 and I was just waking up from my bath nap I feel better now but why does Kevin have to be so naughty and yet so sexy. As I walk out into the bedroom I notice his badge isn't on his headboard probably in his pocket just in case gramps needs to get in touch with him I thought to myself. I slide my pajama pants on and walk down to see the brownie cookies are done and also Kevin left the mixing bowls by the sink. I then notice a small slip of paper with Kevin's handwriting *Albedo called me saying he needs my help dealing with aliens be home as soon as I can I promise. Love Kevvy.*

I chuckled that he used my nickname for him but I also felt glad he was helping our friend. I take the large mixing bowls into the living room and put one of my favorite movies in. as the movie starts playing I pour the entire thing of grenadine into the 2liter of ginger ale so I am making a 2liter Shirley temple and eating raw brownie batter and raw cookie dough. The movie ran till 9:30 and then I put the cleaned mixing bowls in the sink and the drink in the fridge then head upstairs to fish my laptop out of my bag. I then put my headphones in and decided to listen to some music and watch some funny videos as I'm laughing like a nutcase at half past 10 I hear noise downstairs. I paid it no attention as I kept laughing and soon enough I hear feet walk upstairs so I try to get a grip on myself and there in the bedroom doorway is Kevin.

"I honestly thought a hyena was up here Kevin said.

I didn't answer him all I did was keep on laughing at my videos.

"Well you seem to be ignoring me and having the time of your life laughing at your laptop Kevin said.

Once I stopped my laugh fest I put the laptop away and sat up. "I thought you like it when I laugh and I thought you would have appreciated me staying up till you got home I sighed."

Kevin was so stunned that he didn't say anything else he just got changed and then slipped into bed. I felt like I should just shut up and go to sleep so I turned away from him and gently sealed me eyes with my left hand up near my face.

"You really went to all the trouble to keep yourself up just for me Kevin asked?

"Of course I would the birthday necklace I bought for you back in Everwood is proof of that I replied.

"Our love is special ours is rare and pure from the heart Kevin said as he gently played with my hair.

All I could manage was a small smile and nuzzle my head next to his neck before I passed out due to keeping myself up.
