Chapter 28 [Authors Note sorry is the story has many mentions to music from Mermaid Melody I just really love listening to it especially when I work on the story. Thanks for understanding everyone]
Kevin's Pov: It's been 2 weeks sense I got a call from Max and for the past 2 weeks during the middle of the night Benji leaves our bed and sleeps outside by himself when I ask him why he just says he has a lot on his mind and the dead quiet of the night helps him but nothing more. Now it's the day I head to plumbers headquarters but Benji is nowhere in sight and I wanted to bring him with me. Its noon and I start to look around the backyard and I find him sitting up against the tree humming I chuckle at how adorable he is. "So you have found me I guess Ben said with zero emotion" "So this is where you go in the middle of the night I replied with a smile as I sat close to him." "Here this is what I want you to have while we are apart Ben said as he put a small box in my hand." "So you're not coming with me to the base I asked?" Ben just shrugged as if it didn't matter whether he came with me or not. I look at his face as he walks away from me he seems stressed about something. "What's bothering you Benji I asked?" he stops and with only his head turned says "Trying to manage setting up a wedding without the groom here to assist me" I smile happily run for him turn him round and hug him tight. "You can do it I'm sure it will be great I said as I run kisses down his neck." Hours later around 2 in the afternoon I get a text from Max saying its time that I get over there and he tells me I will be living at the base for the week I'm in training and my room there has a bed big enough for me and Ben to sleep together aswell as he wants to talk things over with Ben. "Fine I will go with you and he can talk up as big a storm as he wants I meant what I told him Ben replied." I nod and look at the item in the box it was a Diamondhead crystal my smile just widens and then I take the car out press a button on the dash it then turns into a jet and we head off.
X-Once at the Plumbers HQ-X
Benji and I arrive and right away Max comes over to us to greet us.
"Hi Ben I hope you're in better spirits then last I spoke to you and I hope Gwen clarified what the favor was Max stated as he tried to hug Ben."
Ben slips away from him before uttering softly "To hell with you old man"
"Beg your pardon Benjamin replied a shocked Max." "I said to hell with you because what I told you is the truth yes she clarified it up for me but I refuse to be your dreaming lab rat. When you die I hope it's in a flaming poison spike pit 6 feet underground Ben hollered with a burning hatred." I wrap my arms round his neck and place my hands onto his shoulder. Ben just breaks free and walks inside then asked the receptionist to show him to my room. "Wow I never thought my own grandson would be that mean and harsh to me Max said with a heart paining sigh." "Well he has it hard enough I proposed to him the day you called so he is going to have a hard time trying to figure out the wedding details by himself also he is right Gwen should be given assignments like sure she wants to learn more anodite powers but she's a plumber she should be getting in the action not just me and Ben I said with gritted teeth." Max then looks at me and sees I'm serious. "Right she needs equal time on both sides I will get in contact with Verdona and see what we can work out. The project we wanted Ben to do was fairly simple while our subject was asleep we see what there dreaming and we record the dreams we also record how they act physically while dreaming Max explained." "Maybe he just doesn't want his dreams tapped into while under so much stress and that's why he is raging out at you he seems to be fine around me let me try to calm him and try to get him to tell me why he isn't interested in the project I stated before walking in and went to look for my room. Once I found it I walk in right away and seal the door so hard it makes him jump then I walk over to him and run my fingers through his hair. "What's the matter this scientific observation could be good it might be the thing you could need so you have something keeping your mind preoccupied instead of over worrying about me I said to Ben while my hands grabbed his hips and pulled him into me." "I don't want my favorite way to escape reality observed by people dreams should only be witnessed by the dreamer Ben retorted." "I'm sure you're right but come on there trying to obverse the emotions embedded in the dreams and how you act physically while having the dreams I explained calmly as I sat us down side by side." "There all dreams of you and me I don't want people to see what happens in them please Kevin being here is hard enough as is Ben sighed in frustration." "I know your pressured an full of stress due to me going on this mission and the entire wedding planning but maybe they can send me the videos of you what do you say to that I said trying to get him to calm down." "I…I guess it wouldn't be so bad then Ben replied." Once I cooled Ben down I went and told Max he agreed as he thought there would be no other way to getting Ben to agree to all this. My mind wouldn't stop running with ideas of the types of dreams Ben would have my mind went so foul that I could feel my pants tighten. But I manage to focus on talking with Max he then tells me it will be 3 to 5 weeks till I come back home to Ben and so once that was over I return to my room and tell Ben he just sits on the bed and stares at the ceiling. "It's ok if you want to scream in rage or just cry Max assured me that the room is soundproof to everyone else the only ones who can hear us are eachother and him I said as I sat next to Benji." "No just hold me Kev hold me like you did on our bed back at home the night we first found out about all this Ben chocked out." I do as he asked and sat him in my lap with his legs wrapped round my waist Ben then clung to me tightly and hid his eyes away from me. "I can't stay here any longer I want to go back home alone I will be back up here later Ben whined." I leave the room and go check in on the science team and there project for Benji.
Ben's Pov: I was so torn at what I learned but it wasn't as bad as being gone for 3 to 5 months. I called my parents and asked them if it was ok if I spent the first 2 weeks home with them and the rest out in a small cove down by the beach it looked secluded and like somewhere I could be cut off from communications I really just wanted to be left to myself and to be calm my parents agreed that it sounded fine to them and once that happened I called up Gwen, Seth and Marla but as I go about explaining the plan Gwen gets to saying that I'm crazy and this is just stupid and plain reckless. "Oh really you think me wanting to conceal myself from the world while Kev is on a mission is what you call reckless as I see it reckless would be me falling victim to the emotional chaos all over again and becoming so darkened I end up going alien and causing damage to the plumbers headquarters and then living inside of an out of control fire cyclone in the middle of the motherfucking planet. You know what Gwen your just like gramps go die in fucking hell I shouted at my cousin and booted her out of the chat. After gaining my composer I asked Seth and Marla if they would kindly help me build the hidden cove but just as I was about to go into deeper detail of it I hear the door swing open and shut quickly in one fluid motion and so I get so surprised I drop my phone and it ends the call. "What is it you want from me I can tell by how strongly you swung open and shut that door that you clearly heard what I was saying I hissed." "I just want to know why you plan on concealing yourself away from the ones that care about you like what if I wanted to message you just to see you and yet you wouldn't pick up Kevin stated plainly." "I just want to ok just leave it at that I sighed in annoyance" Kevin kept trying to push the conversation further and finally after I had it with him I finally snapped. "Fine you want to fucking know why I want to hide myself and lose communications with everyone while you're out on this mission. It's because the more time I spend time around people I care about the more I'm going to remember you and the more I'm going to miss you. Sleeping by myself is going to be hard enough now so why risk trying to spend time with family and friends I screamed right up in his face with his neck in my grasp and his back against the wall." Once I was done hollering at him I released him and stormed out the door. I run down the hall with the strip of photos I wanted him to have flapping out of the book till it finally falls out I then transform and fly for earth I just couldn't deal with this pain anymore and I knew just how to go about dealing with it. I text the eagles telling them that I want them there to help me with it now and I want all 4 of them there Marla replied saying they would all meet me at the beach. Once I re-enter earth I skim the clouds with my wings and finally reach the beach then de-transform and walk up the eagles. I walk them over to where I want the cavern built quickly Marla gets building and then Seth coats the inside with ice not the fragile or bone chilling types but just enough that it keeps a cool temperature Artur then builds me a big grotto with a perch that I can sing from Sylvia puts some flowers around the grotto and some vegetation over the cavern entrance the vegetation then gets frozen and draped over the entrance we setup a musical door lock and a few minor traps so I could find true quiet of solitude. Once I was sure it was perfect I gave it a test up on the perch above the grotto and decided to sing the starting lines of Return to the Sea. While I sang water spiraled around me and sealed me into a block of ice then Seth sang a more pleasant song and I was thawed out I was told to only use this power when I have no other choice I asked Artur to have Sara's hair and outfit but Coco's voice when I sit on the perch and I want Sara's hair but Coco's voice aswell as a tail when I sing in the water Artur agrees to my wishes and makes it so. We all then decided to go hit Dunkin Donuts and once we had our drinks and doughnut's settled at a nice outside picnic bench I show them the outfit Kevin made a while back from Noel and Sara's outfits from Mermaid Melody but all white as an option for a wedding dress if I decide to wear one that is. Seth and Artur's mouths both drop when they heard the possibility of me in a dress but the girl's enjoy the dress design and say we should go try it on right now. I feel embarrassed that two girls told me I would look good in a dress and that we should go get it setup right now but I decide that they are right in at most getting it setup and a look at what I would look like in the final product. The mall was a brisk walk from Dunkin Donuts and once up at the fancy attire shop I told the store clerk I was getting married and that I was gay and decided I should be adventurous and wear a dress. The clerk looked at me like I had six heads but soon they got a grip on that I was serious so they told me they were best friends with a cousin of Angelica's so they had fashion forward tech like her this time I put the paper on a scanner and then stood infront of a projector mirror and the dress materialized onto me and as I walked around the shop a bit in it my friends were amazed and loved the idea telling me I should get it sized and ordered right now I chuckled with delight that they turned my mood right around so easily. I told my friends I would meet them in the other shops in a few minutes and that I just wanted to look over what I'm going to be wearing to my own wedding I look at my reflection and it's copies and then suddenly as I spin round to talk to the clerk and place my order in for it out of the corner of my eye I notice Kevin with his eye's bulging and jaw hanging open but I ignore him and place my dress order the clerk then takes measurements of me in it just so they know the proper size. Once I was done in that shop I walk out and start to walk the strip ignoring Kevin frequently calling my name but he keeps calling out to me I put my headphones in and keep walking I make it to the escalator and head down two levels and find the girls in a flowers shop I whisper to them that somehow Kevin is here and is tailing me. They stop what they're doing and make the shop appear empty to his eyes. Once that was over I look over all sorts of flowers and different arrangements but I decide on lilies sunflowers and roses. We all then leave and head up a level but then just as I think we're in the clear here comes Kevin the girls do their best to hold him off from me while I head up and meet the boys to try out different cake idea's. Once upstairs I sit down and look at everything it all looks and tastes really sweet and yummy the Red velvet with White chocolate cream cheese frosting was wonderful and the chocolate fudge cake topped with the buttercream icing mixed with peanut butter whipped cream was as airy as newly puffed cloud. I decided to marble the two cakes together and selected the white chocolate cream cheese frosting with a small hit of peanut butter just to smooth it out and give it an even richer taste. Once finally in a good mood I decide to just sit down by the escalator and soon enough Kevin shows up grabs me tight and gives a suffocating embrace. "I keep telling you not to run don't I he said bluntly." I manage to release myself from his grip and catch my breath before answering him. "If that's all you wanted to say you could have told me all that once I was back but oh hell no can't just let me be so I can get things done and try to calm myself down in the process" As I get up to leave and head back to his place to pack for the aftermath Kevin says something that stops me dead in my tracks. "You were so lovely in that dress and also it was sort of hot seeing you get so forceful with me." "Well you pushed me over my edge so like a branch on a tree I eventually snapped off all my sense I replied and then made to leave. "Where are you going I came to bring you back Kevin said as he grabbed my wrist?" I try to shake my arm free but he keeps tightening his grip. "I'm going to our place to move some of my things into the cavern I know how to get to headquarters on my own just fine I stated." Kevin then gripped my other arm with his other hand and told me he wants to see this cavern he wants to know where I will be hiding out while he is gone. I tell him no and that he will find it out when the time is right then I make my getaway. Once I have everything of mine from his home that I wanted I slipped by my room of my parent's home and take a few things then leave next I move everything into the cavern. I give the grotto one last test in both the water and on the perch. Once I'm satisfied with everything I fly back up to HQ and head for Kevin's room while I walk I wonder why he hasn't just taken me and had his way with me whenever he pinned me down to the bed back at home. Once in his room I find him laying on top the bed in just sweatpants and watching something on the television. I look and see it's a DVD that I made from all my favorite recordable memories and on that DVD is the party he had. Kevin then puts it on pause once he notices me. I slide in next to him but he then grabs me and pulls me close enough that our legs over cross and our hips join together. Kevin then un-pauses the video and we eventually see the part of the party where I watched Kevin shoot his load. Watching that day made my nipples hard because it was my favorite memory. Kevin noticed and wrapped his arm around me to play with my nipples but soon stopped when he saw that the look on my face was the look of me wanting to tell him something. "I think I know why I enjoy eating kiwi's with their skin on nowadays I said plainly." "Really and why is that Kevin asked with intrigue?" "The skin is all furry I answered with a smile." Kevin scratches the back of his head a bit before he plays with my nipples and while playing with them he whispers seductively into my ear "So you like my hairy balls do you?" I just nod and tell him there are other things I like about kiwi's he tells me that he wants to hear what they are. I tell Kevin that I like kiwi's because there loaded with juice even near the seeds. "Stop trying to be such a tease" Kevin retorted. I smiled and replied with "I can be a tease if I please." Kevin then gets off the bed digs through stuff he packed for me and walks into the attached bathroom. When Kevin comes out he is now wearing my old jockstrap with a fully erect boner. "Oh now who's being a tease I quip at him." "Well good thing nobody can hear us then Kevin replied." I just sit there stunned and unable to move or speak. "Don't worry I won't do anything to you just yet Kevin stated." I gave off a look of disappointment and just look away. I then throw on a shirt and socks and go talk to my grandfather to try and talk things out about where I'm going to be once Kev's gone and that I think it would be nice to have him at the wedding.
