Chapter 30
Ben's Pov: I normally sleep fine when Kev is around but back then he had his arms around me but now that he isn't holding me in any way at all I feel nothing no warmth no comfort nothing. I just try and shove him out of my mind so I can rest up. The more I suppress the thought of him the more I end up craving being close to him yet I don't think I'm showing it to him. The more I craved him the harder it was to sleep so in the end I don't get to nap much and just feel that if I'm going to find a way to space him out of my mind maybe I should go take a walk round the indoor flower garden and yet as I go out the door Kevin gets up off the corner of the bed grabs me and pushes me back down onto the bed pinning my arms to the bed he stares at me and then says "Where are you going and did you really think I would let you slip past me that easily Kevin stated coldly." "I'm not going off the base I'm just going for a walk to the indoor flower garden so I can clear my head so stop pinning me down we all know you're far too much of a coward to make a move I hissed." He then slaps me across my face hard so I then knee him in his balls and give him an uppercut to the jaw and push his head to the wall and thunder out of the room but as I go to shut the door his hand latches to my arm "Your one stubborn little idiot Tennyson said Kevin as he pushed my back to the wall." "No I'm not you're a prick ass douchebag who's a fucking chicken to actually take the dive and actually make a damn move you know what forget you go and die on your mission I don't give a fuck anymore I'm so fucking done with your bullshit Levin I seriously am so done with it all you know what here take your god damn ring back I holler and punch him square in the face and again shove his face into the wall before throwing him to the floor and throwing the ring into his hands then I step back and run." As I ran I had my hands covering my eyes so in case I cried nobody would notice and yet as I ran down the hall I hear my watch going telling me I got an incoming call I look to see it's Marla and I knew if I didn't pick up she would tell Seth and then have to get to me through him so I take a breath and then answer. "Hi Ben I just got told by Seth that you want Sylvia and myself to be your bridesmaid's Marla chirped happily." "Yeah I would like all the eagles to be involved in this special day as far as bridesmaid's dresses are concerned I'd say a soft mint green will look nice I replied without looking at her" "Right gotcha and are you ok your eyes look slightly puffy Marla replied with worry in her voice." "Kevin got me really mad I'm sure you know why I replied as I rubbed my eyes" Marla nodded and said she heard from Seth everything and then I told her what just happened she then just stood in shock before running to another part of Everwood campus and soon found Seth and told him he then had her open a portal for me I take a few deep breaths then walk in Once with them I find out it's a roller-skate rink Seth then skids to a stop infront of me and says letting rage out at the prime target is never good and I should of walked away but then once I told him that I was trying to get away from Kevin to space the jerk out of my mind and that Kevin slapped me Seth's mouth hit the floor Seth then told me he still thinks what I did wasn't at all called for but can understand that I did what I did because the entire time I was there I didn't want Kevin to lose focus on the mission and I was under enough painful pressure as is working on the wedding details that I kept all the pain bottled up and finally after so much pain I finally let it all lose in one big burst. "Maybe a day or two in the cavern will help you Sylvia said as she slid over smoothly." "I was in fact thinking of using the singer spell tonight and under the water once I was in merman form I replied softly" then once everyone heard this they stopped in their tracks and looked shocked at me. "Let's go cheer you up you didn't deserve that and you shouldn't stay this way for long Artur chimed in" "Fine whatever I don't care anymore I hissed as I looked away from them." Soon we were getting Seth and Artur there tuxes and the girls their dresses the dresses looked to plain to me so I had them more elegant ruffled and had the tuxes styled a little at the top of the jackets to look like each wearers magic icon so snowflake for Seth and lightning bolt for Artur and after I was satisfied with it all we checked for good shoes and as we finish I start to feel my eyes blur I knew that it was cause I was wanting to cry again soon my friends look at me and notice this so of course they ask why I am still crying. "It's just I have an image sketch out of what I thought would be a good wedding look for Kevin." and then I show it to them the image had him in an elegant prince type of fashion but then I shut the book it was in tightly. We soon leave the stores and go have some fun we stay out having fun for a couple of hours but the sky starts to turn color and I look at my watch saying its almost dinner time one last meal at the base won't cause me anymore harm then I've already faced so I get sent back to the hallway staring at Kevin's door I then turn away and walk to the cafeteria by myself I'm ok now but I still don't want to be around him tonight. Once I go in and pick out food and sit down I right away start to eat and seal away my emotions and facial expression I eventually start to feel like another anime character I like watching Black Rock Shooter and so I text Seth asking to come restore the clothing forging powers to me so he comes over and puts his hand on my shoulder as he casts the spell and then ports away and tells me to rest easy and happily tonight so I tell him that I'm just going to give Kevin the silent cold shoulder treatment. I soon finish eating and I then cast the spell turning myself into a male version of Black Rock Shooter then I walk out as I walk out Kevin walks past me and doesn't recognize me so I feel proud of myself and Gramps is with him so I latch my hand onto Gramps shoulder he looks at me weird but once I reveal my true eyes he tells Kevin to go in without him and makes up an excuse. Grandpa then leads me into his office I then tell him what happened and his eyes bug as I tell him Kevin slapped me and then he nods and lets me leave to the room. I go to the room and unwind by listening and softly singing along to the theme song of Black Rock Shooter as I control a ball of diamond fire a power I made by combining Swampfire and Diamondhead so as I do this the door swings open so I dispel the orb I was controlling and as I do Kevin steps in he looks over at me and doesn't know it's actually me so I just keep quiet and my hands away from my face and I don't even look his way. "Who are you and why are you here in my room the only one I want in my room is Benji and yet I don't know where he is Kevin said bitterly and bluntly?" I keep silent and flat out ignore him. "Hey don't just act like you can't hear me tell me who you are and if you know where Benji is I know he can handle himself but as his boyfriend I want to know where he is Kevin said as he stood right infront of me." I let a growl pass through my gritted teeth but then I get myself together and make to leave. Suddenly I feel something latch onto me so I look and see its Kev looking serious and yet concerned. "Talk I'm a plumber and you're on plumber territory tell me who you are what you were doing in my room and if you know anything about where Benji could be Kevin demanded." I keep quiet and open my eyes to have the signature right eye flame of black rock appear. He suddenly steps back from me and I decide hiding in plain sight isn't right so I bat my eyes twice and the flame disappears then I pass my hand over my face to reveal myself. "Benji!" Kevin said happily and then tried to hug me. I shove him away from me and then put in my headphones and listen to some music to ignore him. He then soon gets back on his feet and walks over then turns off my music so I just sit there and not look at the brute. "What's your deal Benji you're not looking at me or talking to me and yet I don't know why Kevin barked." "You lied to me I growled." "What are you talking about Ben I have never lied to you he replied." "Oh really then think about the day after my birthday and what happened after we got home from seeing Seth I hissed." "I was mad at you for wanting to give up on your eagle magic just because you felt that focusing on it and the omnitrix would separate us Kevin said plainly" "what did I say after that and how did you react I said with no emotion what so ever." "You told me to go ahead and swing on you but I said I… Kevin stopped midsentence" he looks at me and holds me tightly the more I try to struggle free the tighter he grips me so I just stand still and stop resisting him. "Let go of me" I said with gritted teeth. "No you have every right to be furious at me and every right to call me a liar but I don't want to let go of you" Kevin replied. He then forcefully kissed me I couldn't stop a squeak from escaping my lips "I love it when you squeak like that Kevin said in a husky tone with a smirk on his face." I soon turn away from him and cross my arms. "I see you're still slightly pissed at me Benji but I am sorry." Kev said as he again tightened his arms around my frame. He then trails kisses down my neck then he begins to bite softly on the flesh. I try to withstand it but I fail and let a moan pass my lips. "Mmm you sound so sexy when you moan said Kevin." I just ignore him and slip out his arms then I dig through my bag and find my footie pj's. "What are you doing Benji?" Kevin asked me as he placed his hand on my shoulder. "I'm getting changed and then I'm going to get something for bedtime snack I said plainly." I then slip out of my cloths and as I put my foot into the footie pajamas Kevin slaps my ass. "Oh I was going to ask if you wanted to take a shower together but if you're going to get something to snack on is it ok if I join you Kevin asked?" "I was going to go by myself but I guess it's alright so let's just get it over with I replied with no emotion what so ever." We walked to the small dessert café they have on the base I get a hot chocolate and mix in some caramel and peppermint and top it with whipped cream then I get a warm flakey apple and blueberry turnover and go sit down soon Kevin joined me. As I sip a bit of the hot liquid and bite the pastry I open the book that had the sheet of paper with his suit idea on it and I stand it up and open enough that I'm the only one looking at it I smile softly at how handsome he would look and I giggle as I take another sip of my drink due to imagining us slow dancing together. "What are you looking at that is making you giggle Benji asked Kevin warmly?" "Nothing all that important I said with warm cheeks and lips covered in pastry flakes." Kevin then starts laughing at my face and laughingly says to stay still and not move a muscle. Soon he comes back and with a camera he then takes my photo and shows it to me I then look seeing I have a hot chocolate mustache and flakey pastry lips as I try to lick it all off Kevin beats me by kissing me and gets all the crumbs off me but then stops and I feel my cheeks turning rosy so I stuff my face back into the book. "What are you looking at Benji asked Kevin?" "I told you it's nothing you need wonder about I replied." He then tickles me with his feet and while I clasped my hand over my mouth so I didn't cackle like the wicked witch Kevin took the book and looked inside it. "Is that supposed to be my suit idea Kev asked me warmly?" I nod and he wraps his arm around me pulling me closer. "I like it it's amazing you should design costumes for a real job Kev smiled at me with a loving sparkle in his eyes." I become so embarrassed my entire face soon feels like it's as red as lava so I quickly down the rest of my drink and pastry not caring if I end up with crumbs on my mouth and a hot chocolate mustache again. "Ha-ha you're so red you look so adorable when you're embarrassed Kevin said sweetly as we walked back to our room" Once in our room I start to unzip my pajama suit when Kevin notices my face covered in the second round of crumbs I quickly turn away and swallow them down with a little something to wet my whistle then I go slip into a shower and soon Kevin is right behind me so I just ignore him and get busy washing up. "Oh no you're not washing yourself tonight Kevin said" I just ignore him and put my leg up onto the wall so I can rub soap onto my leg. "What did I just tell you about washing yourself Kevin said slightly ticked?" I turn my head towards him with eyes of annoyance on my face. "Ok I get it your trying to get the places that would be a challenge for me to get to Kevin replied." After washing my legs and rinsing them I stand still with the water falling all over me.
Kevin's Pov: Benji really doesn't seem like his hyped up self and I know it's because he still is bitter at me I grab him by his waist and pull him up against my chest so I can run my soapy foamed hands up and down his chest and instantly he lets out a soft purr I then play with his nipples a little by twisting them and he lays his head on my shoulder. "I guess you're not mad at me anymore I stated looking down at him." He just looks away yet I see the red stains in his cheeks "Tell me why you giggled before when you were looking in the book I asked Benji softly as I continued to wash him." He stood silent and I had a serious urge to know just why he would giggle at an image of me. "Do I have to tease the answer out of you Benji I said in a husky tone?" "I wasn't laughing at the image I was laughing at a thought in my head rather than think about the past where I watched it happen and in turn feel sad over the past I decided to giggle at the fact of it happening to us that's all Ben replied." Once those words came out of his sweet kissable lips I knew exactly what Benji meant. I turn him round so I can see his face then I kiss him furiously as I turn off the shower after that I slap his ass and then carry him to the bed with his legs wrapped around my waist and my hands on his ass while I constantly kiss him. Once on the bed he quickly covers up in the blankets to get warm. "If your cold and want to be warm Benji then just crawl into my arms I said as I played with his hair." His eyes opened wide at this but then he just decides rather than seem stubborn that he should just fallow suit so he comes into my arms and soon looks away to fall asleep.
