AN: Man, I really need to start giving some love to my other stories in this universe, but hey, this is the main plot that the others will be stalled later on to accommodate to so too bad.
Disclaimer: I do not own DCAU, Earth 16 or any other animation or comics used to inspire this story.

I was sitting in my office, working on some new armor designs when my door opened. I turned around to see Raven wearing her usual baggy jeans and grey hooded sweatshirt.

"There's a little girl that wants to see you." She said in a less than inthusiastic tone.

"What?" I asked, looking at my friend in complete confusion. "I don't think I know any…"

I trailed off, remembering exactly the little girl she was talking about. 'How on earth did Helena get here?'

I through the pencil I was using on my desk and stood up. I walked toward Raven who was still standing in the door way. She turned around and walked out of my room, making way for me to go down the hallway.

When I made it to the living room I saw Kori trying to explain why you shouldn't pull hair to Helena.

"Helena, where's dad?" I asked, bending down in front of the young girl in the flowery dress.

"Big brother took me to see big brother." She said, pointing to the kitchen. I quickly turned around to see a pair of blue jeans sticking out of the fridge door, and Garfield and Victor staring at them.

"Helena, who's the other big brother?" I asked, picking up my sister and standing up. "Because I don't remember living with anyone else back at the manner."

"Jay Jay." She answered in her usual enthusiastic voice. "Daddy said Jay Jay could take me see you."

Right then the one called Jay Jay stood up. It turned out he was a kid with medium length brown hair with two curls in the front. He was wearing a red baggy hooded jacket, a big white under shirt, black leather biker gloves and a wallet chain hanging from his belt.

"Don't you watch the news Bird Boy?" He asked a sarcastic grin on his face. "I mean, Vicky's been blabbing about me almost as much as your little play group here."

"We are not a play group." Garfield said, getting really close to the kid. "We're a super hero team."

"Whatever you say Plant Man." The boy said, opening a can of root bear and walking towards the couch. "So, what do you guys do for fun around here?"

"Listen Jay Jay, we didn't invite you here, so why don't you just leave." I said, walking up to the brown haired punk. "Tell Bruce that we don't baby sit."

"Why you angry big brother?" Helena asked, looking up at me with her baby blue eyes. "Don't you want see me?"

"Of course I do, I'd just prefer if this guy didn't have to tag along." I said, looking down at the punk with his feet on the table. "How about I come over this thanksgiving."

"Don't make promises you can't keep Dickey Bird." The punk said, looking at me by tilting his head upside down. "It just makes it hurt more when they don't come back."

"Big brother will come back." Helena said in her signature pouty voice. "You take that back."

"Okay, okay, maybe Dickey Bird's different." The punk said, turning around and putting his hands up in defense. "Hell, I don't even know the guy and I'm bad mouthing him."

"Kori, why don't you go play a game with Helena while I talk to, Jay Jay." I said, not taking my eyes off of the punk. "A matter of fact, why don't you guys give her a tour."

Kori flew over and grabbed Helena, holding her up against her torso. She then turned around and flew off, followed closely by Garfield and Victor since Raven hadn't come in.

I jumped over the couch and landed next to the little punk who had begun to flip a knife open, then closing it, and then opening it again.

"So, who exactly are you?" I asked, looking at the kid's expressionless face. "I tend to avoid anything that doesn't pertain to crimes when it comes to the news."

"I'm Jason Todd, The Old Man's newest ward." He answered, closing the knife one last time then putting it in his pocket.

"How'd he pick you up, were your parents killed on the public stage or something?" I asked, looking at him as he stared out the window, his green eyes filled with grief.

"No, he actually caught me steeling the wheels off the Bat mobile in Crime Ally." He answered, a smirk spreading across his face. "I had just gotten off the last wheel when he showed up to; I would have made a fortune with those things."

"So he caught you steeling from him, and decided to take you in?" I asked, looking at the now grinning thief in front of me. "What did your parents think about this?"

"I never said they were alive." He said the smirk still on his face. "My mom OD'd about four years ago in our house and my dad's been missing since before I can remember."

"Oh, well that does help to tie up a few loose ends." I said, still looking at the kid as he stared blankly at the ocean. "Of course that doesn't explain why you're here."

"Helena was missing you and the Old Man was busy, so I took her." He answered, the smug smirk leaving his face again. "Besides, this chick in my class would kill for Robins autograph."

"hahaha, dude, you definitely have the Wayne's way with the ladies." I said, a smirk spreading across both our faces. "So what's this girl's name?"

"Sasha, she's a scholarship student so I only get to see her at school." He answered, a blush spreading across his face.

"Bro, you do realize you don't just have to go to Bruce's gatherings, you can hang out with whoever you want." I said, putting my hand on the kids shoulder. "Trust me, if he had his way Barbs wouldn't be batgirl."

Jason looked at me, a smile covering his face. He didn't seem so punkish when he smiled like that, a matter of fact, he looked really nice.

"Thanks, bro, I'll keep that in mind." He said, emphasizing the word bro. "but about that autograph."

"Okay, okay, I get the picture." I said, laughing as I stood up and walked over towards the bar counter setting. "You coming or not Jay?"

Jay stood up and jumped over the couch, following me to the counter, pulling out a picture and a pen as he did so. When he sat down next to me he put down a picture of me right before I joined the titans, my hair still in the flat UN jelled style I had back then.

"Stay whelmed Sasha, from your favorite acrobat Robin." I said, writing it down on the picture at the same town. "So how's that big guy?"

"That's great, thanks Dick." He said grabbing the picture and sliding it back to him. "So why don't you show me that gym Victor was bragging about building."

"Okay, let's go." I said, standing up and walking towards the automatic door, Jason following close behind.

As we were walking down the hallway to the elevator Raven turned the corner while reading a book and bumped into Jason. Her eyes widened with fear which usually wasn't an emotion I related to her, but she did hate when her books hit the ground.

"Sorry." Jason said as Raven bent down to pick up the book. As she did so he did his best to check out her ass through her baggy jeans.

"Dude, let's get to the gym before you see Kori." I said, grabbing Jason by the shoulders and forcing him to continue walking. "What about this Sasha girl?"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about her." Jason said, looking back down the hall, trying to catch a glimpse of Raven. "Who was that girl?"

"That's Raven, and no, she wouldn't like to date you." I said taking my arm off of him. "Now why don't I teach you a few of Bruce's classic moves?"

In case you don't read comics, this name is a direct reference to 'Death of the family' which is basically the contrast to this chapter, and yes, Jason is here. Please review this chapter and tell me what you think of punk Jason Todd and his crush on Sasha.
