AN: Ladies and gentlemen the pole is closed, and it has been decided that I'll be writing in a more random order. Well, other than that I've also decided to have a bit of a gap between this and my next episode based chapter. One more thing is I messed up the year so it's actually 2013, not 2014.

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans, Earth 16, DCAU, DC Comics or anything else used to inspire this story.

I sat in my office, looking at all the cases that I knew Death stroke and Ravager were involved in. "So far all I know is that he has a beef for the Titans, and I still don't know why." Right as I was about to give up the largest computer monitor I had flashed my symbol and switched to a security feed inside a large hotel room with glass walls. The screen to the right of it had an address written in green letters as well as a reason to be going there, which was the fat man in the suit who was lying, bleeding on the bear rug from a whole in his head.

I grabbed my mask and smacked it onto my face, walking out of my room and heading towards the elevator.

I walked into the room through the shattered window, looking down at the corps. 'Caucasian male, appears to be in his late 50's, over weight and male pattern baldness. According to the Titans Computer he doesn't exist which means either he's had some major plastic surgery or he's in some kind of witness protection program. The bullet that entered his head seems to be high caliber, and based on the fact that this building is far taller than any of the ones around it I'd say probably from a sniper rifle.'

"I bet I can guess what you're thinking." I heard a familiar gruff voice say. "The answer is witness protection."

I looked up and saw the red haired man who had only a year ago left the Justice League, my old friend Red Arrow. "Well that should narrow the list of who'd want to kill him." I said, looking the now long haired stubbly man in the eyes. "So, who was he testifying against?"

"Cadmus." He said, looking down at the man with disgust. "He's one of the men who helped find it, a former general who feared the League would take over, but he disagreed with the cloning techniques of the organization. A few months ago he quit and went to the police, and now, a few days away from testifying he's killed."

"I thought that your uncle was running Cadmus now." I said, looking confused at Red Arrow. "I thought he shut down cloning."

"He was just a front." He said, walking past me and going to the window, looking at the buildings that were below. "After the Lights initial plans failed they moved all operations out of DC and to various safe houses. I think that they're using a clone of someone like Deadshot to take out traitors."

"It's a possibility, but I don't know any Mercenary's with this M.O." I said, walking up behind Roy and looking at the buildings myself. "However some of the information I ported over from the Bat Computer does suggest that this isn't this assassin's first job."

"Have any of his former targets been at all connected to Cadmus?" Roy asked, not looking away from the roof tops.

"No, they've been mainly connected to mob families." I answered, looking at the file on the un-named killer. "He first showed up in two thousand and six where he killed commissioner Lobe of the GCPD as well as his secretary with the same bullet."

"Well he's definitely a good shot." Red Arrow said, finally looking down at me. "So has Batman given this assassin a codename?"

"Yeah, but that information was restricted so I wasn't able to port it." I said, laughing a little bit. "He definitely didn't want me to read that part of the file; I couldn't even hack after two hours."

"Interesting, but does the file say anything about where he likes to perch because none of these buildings look particularly good." Roy said, looking back at the roof tops.

"No, but there are really only two with a clear shot at the victim, I'll check the one on the left, you on the right."

I stood on my rooftop, scanning the area for clues when I heard the sound of wood being cut. I turned to face Roy's roof where I saw Ravager standing over Red Arrow with his sword posed to slice of Red Arrows head. I quickly through a birdarang at his sword, causing him to look up.

"Robin, I was going to get you next, but if you're in such a hurry to die I'd be happy to oblige." He said, but he didn't move from his stance above Red Arrow. "Sadly Deathstroke said I shouldn't exit mission parameters, so I'll just have to wait until later. Dang, these employers are so picky about collateral damage."

"What employers are you talking about?" I asked, glaring at the helmeted teen.

"I thought this guy would have told you." Ravager laughed his blade now on Roy's throat. "I mean he has been tracking them down for almost two years now."

"Wait, you're working for Cadmus?" I asked, staring at Ravager in surprise. "You're the assassin."

"Well this time, usually it's deathstroke." He answered, swinging his sword onto his shoulder. "Of course, Batman's told you all of this, hasn't he? He hasn't, well I guess he doesn't trust you, kind of like you don't trust your team huh. Well, I've gotta go, see ya later Robin."

Ravage turned around and dropped a smoke pellet, and by the time I got to where he was, he was gone.

"Sorry about that Roy, we've been dealing with that guy for a while now." I said, looking down at my shirtless friend as he lied on the metal bed of the infirmary.

"It's fine; I have another lead in Steel city." He said, standing up and grabbing his shirt. "Apparently there's a clone of a League member up there, so even if it's not the real Roy I'll be able to keep them from sending a league member into the world."

"Guess so." I said, turning around to look out the window and at Gotham in the distance. "I noticed that you're wearing a ring, so who's the lucky girl."

"Oh, so you noticed." He said nervously, rubbing the back of his neck and smiling at me. "Well, you're gonna laugh, but it's Jade."

"You mean Artemis' sister?" I asked, laughing a bit. "I thought she was a world glass assassin or something."

"She's doing some vigilante work." He said, as he strapped on his bow and quiver. "Well I better get going, that lead's not going to be there forever. See you around Rob."

An: Yes, I'm going for the mercenary approach on Deathstroke like it should be. Also, who is the Justice League Member Clone he mentioned. You'll just have to review to find out.
